Jordan fiddled with the galleons that were in her coat pocket with her fingers and looked into the window of a store that she so desperately wanted to enter. But, she saw nothing she liked and moved on. Coming upon another store she looked into the window and sighed at a pair of gloves she could use at the moment, but she didn't enter that store either. Jordan hadn't been shopping in awhile, and this caused her to....well become very very picky.
Moving to another store she finally entered this one, and looked through the shelves. Seeing nothing she really liked, but just in there for the warmth she continued to look. She didn't notice someone walking toward her and to be honest, she really didn't care.

Mary decided she was she was well overdue for a trip to her favourite clothes shop in Hogsmead. Therefore, upon stepping out of the shower that morning she decided she would take a trip to Hogsmead and nothing would stop her. She put on a warm muggle sweater in dark green and a pair of jeans. Along with them she wore a winter cloak with her trademark slightly pointed boots with three-inch stiletto heels, both in emerald green to match the top.
She flooed into ‘The Three Broomsticks’ only to find it quite busy. ‘No wonder people want to be in here. The weather outside is horrible.’ Mary thought before stepping out into the cold. She then walked down the street, entered a coffee shop, and ordered a cappuccino to go. She brought her drink out into the freezing cold thankful for it’s warmth in her hands. ‘It’s way to cold to do a proper look round. Best just go to my favourite stores and get out of here.’ Mary thought as she passed several interesting looking stores.
When Mary finally arrived her coffee was almost gone and she was frozen from the icy wind outside. She began looking through the shelves seeing a number of things that she liked, but nothing really worth trying on. The cold always dampened Mary’s shopping spirits. Normally she would try on anything and everything that looked like it may fit her and wasn’t pink but when it was cold like this she stuck to things she knew would look amazing. The trip hadn’t been a total waste after all though, Mary spotted a girl in her year who she was almost certain was named Jordan though she couldn’t remember what house she was from. ‘I did promise myself I would be more social this year’ she thought as she approached the girl. Jordan didn’t seem to notice Mary coming toward her but Mary didn’t care. “Find anything good?” she asked before adding “Hi I'm Mary Evans.”
Jordan was about to give up and go back to the Bustling Three Broomsticks when someone asked her if she found anything good. Jordan spun around so quickly she knocked a few things off the shelf she was looking at. Not picking them up, she looked at the girl. Slytherin crossed Jordan's mind, and she was a little bit more defensive. BUt, this Slytherin seems nice enough. So, Jordan let her defenses down a bit, She smiled lightly and shook her head.
"No, not anything worth taking back. I'm Jordan Cortes. Nice to meet you." She answered as she put her hand out for Mary to shake. Jordan smiled and wondered if the girl would shake her hand. After all she was a Slytheirn. Jordan knew better than to sterotype that way though. Because, if she sterotyped people that gave people the right to sterotype her as being the good little Hufflepuff. Which she was faar from. She had a hot temper and a sharp tongue, she was part of almost every house. Hufflepuff just seemed to be the biggest part of her.

Mary shook Jordan’s hand, thankful that it had been offered. “Its very nice to meet you too.” She said sincerely. “So how come you’re out shopping on a God forsaken day like this? I almost froze to death just between ‘The Three Broomsticks’ and here. Gosh if I weren’t so addicted to shopping I probably wouldn’t have even bothered to get out of bed today.” She said with a giggle.
She then continued looking at the stacks of merchandise strategically placed to catch the eyes of random passers-by. She began picking up this and that but always putting it back right away. “You’re right. I don’t know what’s wrong, maybe I just don’t really like this style, but for some reason there really isn’t anything worth it here.”
Jordan shrugged at the question. Why was she out shopping? Oh yeah, because she hadn't done any of her Christmas shopping on time because of God forsaken events. She then looked at Mary and smiled.
"Usually I last minute Christmas shop, this year however, I am late Christmas shopping." Jordan answered after she thought of an answer that made sense. She then looked at the pile of clothign Mary was talking about. Jordan shrugged again.
"My style is never in these stores. I have to go to London to get my clothing." She said after awhile as she looked at a red jacket.

“I can usually find something anywhere I go. But I really don’t like this style. Do you have much left to do?” Mary asked smiling at Jordan. She had finished most of her Christmas shopping a few days prior. As well, everyone she had left she wasn’t going to see until she went home for the summer so she didn’t have to worry about them quite yet. “Do you mind some company while you do your shopping?” Mary asked hoping Jordan wouldn’t mind spending some time with her.
