Emily was walking down the streets of Diagon Alley. She saw all sorts of shops and people. She fist had to go to Gringotts Bank to get some money out. She went in there. Emily waited in line to see an Accountant. Finally it was her turn. "I'd like to make a withdraw please." She said to the Goblin Accountant. She handed him the key.
"Follow the guy by the door." He said smugly. She walked over there and followed him. They went into a cave like thing on a mine train transportation vehicle. He got out and asked for the key. She handed it to him for the Accountant had given it back to her to give to him. He opened the vault. "Take what you need." The goblin said.
She grabbed some galleons and knuts and sickles. When Emily was done, she got back into the vehicle. When they arrived at the main office, she got out. "Thank you." she said kindly. Emily walked out of Gringotts. When she was out, she headed for
The Apothecary.
Emily walked through the doors and found herself surrounded by animals. She needed a new pet. She looked at the cats wondering if she should buy one.

Hayden and her mother were going shopping in Diagon Alley, and Hayden couldn't wait! She absolutly loved going to Diagon Alley! It was just so fascinating, and everytime that Hayden went, she was in complete awe.
They took a portkey, which was an old shoe that they kept lying around the house, that lead to an alley way, in Diagon Alley. Her mom and her touched it, and Hayden jumped slightly when they starting moving. When they reached their destination, Hayden felt a bit dizzy, and walked odd for a couple of seconds.
They took a few stops and looked around for a bit. Her mother had bought her a book, at Flourish and Blotts, that was about the different magical creatures, like unicorns and everything. "Mom! Can we go to the pet shop? Please, please, please, please....?" she asked her mom. She loved going to the 'pet shop', because there was always odd looking animals, and just regualer animals. It was all the same to Hayden, she still loved going!
They walked into the small shop and Hayden asked, "Hey mom, can I go look around for a bit?" "Alright." her mother said. "But just don't leave the shop." Hayden walked around the shop, staring with interest at all the different animals. She soon spotted a girl, that looked a little older than herself, and decided to talk to her. Hayden noticed that the girl was looking at cats. Hayden had a cat, but he was back at home. She bounced on over to the girl and said, "Hi! I'm Hayden! What's your name? You know, I have a cat. Well, actually he's still a kitten. Anyway, his name's Maylin. Do you have a pet?"

Emily sort of jumped when she saw the girl. "Hi, I'm Emily Zhender." "I do have a pet owl." She said sort of looking at the girl in a strange way. "Nice to meet you." "Are you a first year?" She asked politely.
"I'm a 3rd year by the way." Emily said proudly. "I'm just looking at some cats." "What one do you think I should buy?" "There's that white one with short hair and black speckles, or there's an orange long haired one." "You choose." Emily said to Hayden. The girl sounded very hyper when she said hi. She liked that in a person.

The girl introduced herself as Emily Zhender, and asked if Hayden was a first year. "Well, nice to meet you too Emily!" she said happily. "Well... not exactly... I'll be a first year next year though. I'm hoping to be in Hufflepuff. That's the house that my brother's in right now. He's going to be a sixth year this coming term. My mom was also in Hufflepuff when she was back at Hogwarts! So, how 'bout you? What house are you in?" she babbled on.
Emily then asked Hayden what cat she should get. "Well, my cat, Maylin, well, he's an orange Tabby Cat. I like orange cats. Orange is one of my favorite colors! So, why don't you get something different and get the back and white one?" she asked. She wondered if she was talking to much, that the girl would get annoyed, but Hayden couldn't help it if she liked to talk too much! Oh well, this girl looked like she was nice enough not to mind.

Emily motioned for the wizard who was in charge of the shop to come twords her. "How may I be of Help?" he asked. "Yes can I have the black and white cat up there?" "Of course." Emily watched as he cast a charm on the crate to make it unlock and then he put the levitation charm on the cat and gently brought him down to her. "Thank you. She said.
"I'm in Gryffindor." She petted the kittens soft fur. "You want to pet him?" Emily asked politely. She held him down to the girls height. She wasn't that short. "Now I need a name." "Do you know any?" She asked curiously.
The shop wizard came toward her. "That'll be 100 galleons." he said. She held the kitten with one hand and gave him the money with the other. He walked away.

Hayden watched in fascination, as the clerk magically unlocked the cage to the cat, and levitated it down. Even thought that she now knew that she was a witch, she often found herself still in awe at the all of the things that happened in the wizarding world.
Emily asked if Hayden wanted to pet the kitten, and she nodded her head happily in agreement. Emily lowered down to Hayden height and Hayden pet the kitten with a smile on her face. "He's really soft!" she said, looking back up to the older girl. "Or she... whichever one he... or she is." she said with a small giggle.
Emily asked if Hayden had any good names for the kitten and Hayden replied, "Well, it depends, is he a boy or a girl? Well, how 'bout Hayden? Or Emily! Or umm... Bob! Or Fred! Or... umm... Lindesy, or Kiko, or Kayo, or JoJo, or Jessica, or Abby, or Lily, or Daisy, or Chealsey, or Kitty, or Missy, or Baby, or Candy, or Squeaky, or........" she rambled on happily.

"Kiko, I like it." "His name will be Kiko." "Thank you." she said happily. "So, are you going to buy another pet?" Emily asked Hayden. "I see you think magic is very fascinating."
She said to Hayden. "Are you a pure blood or Half blood?" "I'm just wondering." "I'm a half blood." "My mom is a witch and my dad's a muggle." Emily looked at Hayden. She was enjoying talking to Hayden.
