Vika woke up with a start. Rubbing her eyes she pulled her self out of bed. Changing in to
designer jeans and a soft blue top. She put
her hair into a ponytail. and exited the room.
Every where she went she saw happy people
miling around. She saw the entrance to a new
store in ducked in just as a gust of wind began to
blow.

Robert wasn't really planning on doing much, but the feel of Diagon Alley, was one of his favorites. It was a major change from the boringness of home. He was a muggle born, so he didn't even gert to see any magic at his house. School was always a drag with homework lately. Why do boarding schools like Hogwarts still call it homework? You don't ever go home. As Robert thought ot himself he noticed a fellow third year. He didn't know her much, but a gust of wind tugged at his robes, causing him to escape the cold by following her into the nearest store.

Vika smiled as she sat down, this place was cool. It had cushoins nice little tables. Vika chose the one by the window.
Pulling her hair out of her ponytail she let it fall on her back. Natruel beauty as her mother always said.
While sheshoke her head she noticed a young stranger about her age by the door. Looking closer she recanxed him from school. Trying to get his attention she waved her hands madly.

Robert walked in and the change in weather from outside was very noticable. It was a perfect, cozy, little place. Robert looked around the shop. He hadn't ever been in there, that was for sure.
He caught something through the corner of his eye. He turned his head to see the same girl who had come in before him. He was startled a bit when he saw that she was indeed waving at him. He began to walk towards her. As she sat next to the window, he tried to recall her name. Nothing came to him so he started to talk b saying, "Hi, my name's Robert."

Tristan swept over to the table by the door. a couple of third years had just entered and since Tristan was alone on todays shift working part time in his mother's bookstore/cafe, "Chapters" he had to serve all customers himself.
"Hello there," He said merrily, "would you like to see our breakfast menu or are you browsing for books?"

Looking at the boy who intruduced himself as Robert " Hi, nice to meet you. Im Viktoria,do call me Vika" Vika said causally.
Then focasing to the other boy she replided " No thank you were just catching up but, can you bring some start up coffe. Thanks, no cream."
Anixously she pulled out her her bag handing the waiter some money she looked up at Robert she said " How about you? Anything? My treat."

Robert felt at the sack of coins in his pocket. He thought that since he had enough money, he'd let her treat him, then he'd treat her to a book. "Hmm... I think I'll just go with a cappachino. Only one shot of expresso in it please. Thank you." Robert now looked at Vika. "Are you sure? You can get a book. My treat this time." Robert thought like this seemed like the proper thing to do.

"o.k" Vika said " Sorry if I seem ........Well so why are you out for; Looking for a book. She blushed not knowing why. " Sorry again. My mother is so pushy, she spoils me just so I act like a Slytherin some times. She was a Slytherin. Sorry If im boring you." She blushed again.
She looked at Robert. Just by looking at him she figured he was a logical thinker and wasnt intrested in astrolagy but she brought it up any way. " So what are you? A attention loving leo or, a quiet thinker like a scorpio or, pices?" She asked.

"Oh, well I'm a cancer. But truely, I think the whole thing is a lot of..." Robert refrained from using the word he wanted to and said crap instead. Maybe he's got a little Slytherin in him too. "I'm all up for trying to interpret what's to come. I highly doubt it has to do anything with when you were born. That's like trusting the chinese year animals." Robert happened to be a monkey, and even though the monkey also happened to be his favorite animal, it was still all ridiculus. "What do you like to do?"

"Oh and that is no cream." Said Tristan over his shoulder. He grabbed a couple of menus from the rack on the main counter, returned to the table and placed one in front of each of the students. "Just give us a yell if you'd like anything  " He said with a wink and headed over to a group of giggling first years who had just entered. |

Turning her attention back to Robert she replied " Ohhhh...thats hard. Lets see I like to cheer. Im an active person. I also like to read. That came from my dad. I also like to experment on things."
Taking a look at the menu she asked Robert what he wanted " What looks good to you. I would go with the fruit cup or, white choclate strawberries." She smiled at the thought of those strawberries." So what do want?"

What Robert really wanted to say is, "Can I get fries with that?" but he refrained. The truth was that he was not terrible hungry, but yet he found it hard to concentrate his mind kept wandering back to the adorable dragons from Care of Magical Creatures. He changed th subject by peering around the shop. "That boy, Tristan, seems a bit young to be working and juggling school. I feel a tad bit sorry for him." As Robert peered out the window next to them, he decided to get a new pet. "I think that I'm going to get a new pet. Any recomendations?"

Robert wanted some soup. Not that it'd go great with coffee, but he'd never been here before. It was fairly fancy. Robert hated fancy. He liked the library most of all. It's nice to eat and be surrounded by books, but he was more of a casual guy. He turned towards Vika, waiting to hear what she'd get efore he made his order.

"I'll have a burger dry with no onions. Oh and I'd like french fries with that to." Vika ordered. "So do you like animals?" She asked Robert. "I like them except for bugs,reptiles,fish and birds. Except for owls."She said with a laugh.
She took a sip of her coffee. She liked the way it tasted.
And the look shown on her face.

"Actually, I think I'll go with a nice juicy cheeseburger. with a side of fries and lots of ketchup." Robert could already tell that Vika and he were the same in someways and yet different in others. "I love animal. I haven't seen too many magical ones, but I used to stop by the locl vet all the time when I was younger. Back in Virginia." Robert pused to think that baybe she didn't care. "Well, before I bore you with a trip down memory lane, I'd like to hear some more about you."

"Sure!" Said Tristan. He collected the menus and crossed the room to the kitchen. The kitchen was busy now. several orders had been placed and the cooks were all trying to prepare them on time. Tristan gave them the two new orders and left the kitchen.
Just then He noticed a girl enter the shop. It was Brodie, his fellow employee. Tristan's shift was over! He greated Brodie then changed his clothes and left the shop, entering the bustling Diagon Alley

"Well,I like to cheer. I"m active. Even though my mom's a pureblood and my dad's a muggle." She said the last part hastily. ''I like to listen to muggle music. I mainly listen to Jesse Mccartney." She said as she remembered her favorite song. "I'm a risk
taker. I like to bungee jump and ski. Stuff like that. But I have a quiet side. Like do you ever have a feeling that you want time to yourself?" She asked. She took a bite out of her fries. She chewed silently.
She took another fry. She dipped it in ketchup and ate it. There was a moment of silence before she broke it.
"I like novels. Actaully I just finished 'The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe'." She said going pink. "I love fantasy." She said. "So what about you?" She asked.
