Cass entered Madam Malkins in a bit of a flourish. She really needed a new dress, but didn't really have time to make her own. Cass was really into sewing, and had made several beautiful dresses on her own. However, with all her extra work she was doing for Transfiguration, she didn't have the time to spend working on a dress. Truth was, she really didn't want to go to Dana's this summer with only a few outfits she had made herself, and clothes that looked very worn out. Even though she hadn't met Dana's family, she didn't want them to think or know she was poor. Ever since her father became ill, they hadn't of had much money. The morbid thing was though, that now that her father was gone, they had more money to live on. She sighed sadly. She really missed her Dad, but she wasn't going to peruse over it.
Taking a large book of dress and clothes designs from a table, she began to look through it. A saleswitch began to suggest things that would look good with her green eyes and black hair. Not really able to make a decision, she put that book down and picked up another one.

Diagon Alley was not what Mack needed. But, apparently, Dix did. She needed a few supplies. Well, forget her! Mack threw the list away and did her own shopping. She entered Madame Malkins with a coffee in hand and sunglasses perched on top of her golden locks. People turned to look at her, and she gave them a warm smile. Something was happening to Mack, she didn't know what exactly. But she was actually- nicer. She scanned the crowd of students and spotted one she had met before. Cass! They once had met in the courtyard, and then afterwards when Mack was doing her work. She smiled and made her way over to the Gryffindor.
"Hi." She said in a small voice. Not really sure if the girl wanted to enteract with someone who had been as rude as she had. Mack waited for her reply and tried not to let her blood rush to her head. She wasn't one to be panicked. She was rather calm under pressure. But, right now, she seemed to be rather nervous.

Cass looked up as someone greeted her. It was Mackenzie Holden. Rather surprised that she would even speak to her, she didn't let it show. " Hey Mack, How's it going? I'm just doing a little shopping. I'm going to spend some time in Italy this summer with Dana Coran and I'm just trying to get some nice outfits to take with me. Have any good ideas? I'm rather partial to this one."
She held out the book to show Mack a purple skirt with some nice daisys on it. A white off the shoulder sweater graced the top of the model's body. " I'm not sure if purple is my color though." She pushed her now short hair back as she cotinued to peruse the book. " So, what brings you out here today?"

Mack smiled as Cass greeted her. So far so good. Mack looked at the picture that Cass was looking at, clothes. Something Mack was not good with, but she did know a few things. She smiled and looked at Cass, trying to imagine the outfit on her, "Maybe a lighter purple. you don't want too much dark...considering your hair. But, I like it. Especially with the daisies." She said to Cass, wondering if her thoughts would help her at all. Mack shrugged lightly at this, if it didn't...oh well, she knew she wasn't good with fashion.
"I was suppose to do some shopping for my sister. I decided to shop for myself. As you can see, that hasn't gone too well." She laughed as she indicated her empty arms. Mack was a picky shopper. She had to get the best, but at the lowest price. Using the little money she had. Her parents had loads of money, but rarely gave any to Mack. So she used what she got, and used it on things she absolutely needed. Today was just....a good day. A time where she could get things she wanted.

Cass smiled up at the girl. Goodness, she sure was nervous! She acts like I'm going to bite, she thought to herself. Cass was a very easy going person, and even if someone had upset her she would never hold that against them. cass was just one of these people who only held serious grudges. Cass smiled up at the girl. " Not much a shopper? Every girl is a shopper deep down."
She looked at the picture of the skirt. " I think your right about the skirt though, and I've never been partial to skirts anyway. However, I do like the top. Well, if you like, after I get fitted for a couple of things, do you want to come with me?" Cass got up as the witch motioned her over to a mirror. The witch took out a measuring tape and charmed it to take measurements.
" I really like the book store here,do you mind coming with me there? Oh, and there is that new robe shop down the street. We should go there as well." Cass smiled at Mack, hoping she wasn't going to be upset with her taking over things.

Caiest sighed. She needed some time away from the castle. Everyone in the castle seemed to be uptight with the upcoming exams and everything. Caiest for one wasn't worried. She was smart and knew the material so she didn't bother worrying. After all worrying didn't make you do better in exams. Caiest decided to go shopping. It wasn't something she did often but seeing as the school year was ending soon she figured she could use some new clothes. So she grabbed her dragonskin pouch her parents had sent her from Romania the last time they'd visited there and threw in a handful of coins before leaving the castle.
After she reached Diagon Alley Caiest looked for a good place to shop. She decided to go into Madam Malkins there had to be a good selection of clothing in there. Walking in Caiest looked around to see what type of clothing they had there. As she was looking around she noticed Cassandra and another girl whom she'd never met before. She walked up to them. "Hey Cassandra how's it going?" She asked. She turned to the other girl. "Hi I don't think we've met before the name's Caiest nice to meet you." She stuck out her hand. Normally she would've just ignored the girl but she seemed to be Cassandra's friend. Caiest would hate to be rude to one of her friends friends. Lord knew she didn't have enough friends to lose one to something as stupid as ignoring someone.
