((ooc. We wont have allot of time posting here becuase the castle is closing very soon.))
"Ring Ring Ring" the sound of and clock started to echo the empty room. Jasmine moaned and opened her eyes and looked at her clock. It was flashing 5:00am and the sun wasn’t still out. Jasmine then pulled the covers off of her and sat straight up in her bed. She stared off into space and started to think. It was going to be another lonely year for her at Hogwarts and Jasmine really wonted friends. She sighed and pulled on her faded out jeans and a long shelved light blue shirt. If she wonted to spend some quality time with her horse Midnight light before leaving to Diagon Ally,
Jasmine got up from her bed and pulled her long brown hair into a high ponytail and she walked out of her room and down the hallway. She looked up at the wooden brown walls filled with pictures of the horses that have been on the farm. Jasmine had been living in the one story farm house for six years and she couldn’t get enough of the horses. Lena was a professional horseback rider and a lesson instructor so they had allot of horses on the farm.
As Jasmine walked into the brightly lit kitchen she got out a glass of orange juice and an apple. She bit into her apple and gulped down the orange juice. After she finished she put her glass down and through her apple away and open the swing doors and walked down the path to the pastures where her horse spent most of her summer days.
As Jasmine reached the paddock where her horse was she leaned up against the white wooden fence that extended around the whole pasture and beyond. She put her head up and smiled as her horse started to trot around the pasture with his tail held up high and his black coat gleaming even know the sun wasn’t out yet. Jasmine smile and she felt tears sting in her eyes. Midnight had a terrible past and Jasmine had raised him since he was a foal. Midnight’s mother died giving birth to him and he was left alone. Lena did her best to try to feed the foal but he wouldn’t take the bottle from her. Jasmine than was admired by the foal beauty and his will live. She spent so many nights trying to get him to drink from the bottle. Finally one night he took the bottle and he survived leaving a special bond between him and Jasmine.
Jasmine wiped the tears away and laughed as Midnight trotted up to her and nibbled her hair. "Oh boy I am going to miss you so much but I have to go Hogwarts this year and I might make new friends." Jasmine said rubbing Midnight behind the ears and he nickered softly to her. Jasmine felt more tears rise in her eyes and she patted him one last time. She was always sad to leave her beloved horse behind she always thought that he might not eat without her being around and that what had happen in her second year at Hogwarts. Jasmine had to go home right away and make sure he ate before she returned. Jasmine smiled and hugged her horse and she could feel his head rest on her shoulder like he was hugging her back. "Owe boy I goanna miss yeah so much" Jasmine said letting go off her horse and patting him for the last time.
"Jasmine its time for yeah to leave dear come inside!" Lena screamed from the farm house out to Jasmine. She sighed and turned around and walked away from her beloved horse with more tears in her eyes. Before she opened the door to her house she turned around and looked at him for the last time and he was rearing up and moving his hoofs wilding in the air as if to wave good bye.
This made Jasmine smile and she walked into the house and entered the living room where her trunk was and a little basket where Lilly her orange and white kitten she rescued was in. "Now dear have a good time and try to make friends okay honey and oh yeah hers and extra bag to buy some ice cream and lunch before leaving on the train." Lena said looking at Jasmine for the last time and hugging her tightly in her arms. "Okay you can let go of me and I will try to make friends." Jasmine said after ten minutes of being under the pressure of the hug.
As Lena pulled away Jasmine smiled and picked up her trunk and hung the basked on her shoulders and walked into the fire place and took the flute powder and she took a deep breathe and throw it down on the flour and said "Diagon Ally" very clearly and she entered a spiraling vertex. She continued to spin and she finally reached the leaky cauldron which entered to Diagon Ally.
She was in the leaky cauldron and she pulled her trunk out of the fire place and she pulled out her wand and did a shrinking spell to skink it so she could put it in her basket where Lily was asleep. Jasmine smiled and she walked up to the cement wall and tap it in certain place and it magically opened up reveling tons of shops and Hogwarts students walking around for last minute shopping. Luckily for Jasmine she already got her robes a new wand and all she needed now was her books and she would be finished. Jasmine walked into the busy street and looked around her amazed. She had been here for four years but it always amazed her each time she went.
She finally reached flourish and blots and she opened the door and a huge smile came to her face as it relieved books of all sorts. Jasmine than took out her list and read it over. After ten minutes of looking around for her required books she finally had then all. She was carrying at least a dozen books and she walked up to the counter but she stopped when she saw a book on magical creatures.
On the front cover it had a black winged horse with red eyes it reminded her of Midnight and she picked up the book and ran her hands down the spine. She decide to buy it and she added it to her pile and walked up to the clerk and played her money and she took her books that where in a sack now and turned around she bumped into a girl younger than her and Jasmine completely froze. She stood where she was looking at the girl wide eyed and trying to say some thing. "So..... Sorry" Jasmine whispered to the girl and helped her picked up her books. "I am Jasmine Anderson a fifth year Racenclaw who are you?" Jasmine whispered to the girl hoping that she heard what she had just said.

Mary woke up very excited, and quite early for her considering it was before noon. She was happy because today she was going shopping. Mary loved to shop, she considered it an artform; one which she had mastered at the tender age of three. She threw aside her silk green sheets and ran to the window; upon opening the curtains she saw a beautiful day outside awaiting her. She went over to her closet and picked out her favourite outfit; long black boots that went to her knees, a black shirt, & a pale green long sleeve shirt with a V neck. Everyone told her she was too young for boots like that, especially when they noticed the thin 3 inch heels, but she didn't care, she thought they were great.
Mary walked down the long corridors of her house, occasionally stoping for small talk with portraits of her ancestors. When she finally got to the dining table her parents had already begun brunch. The three ate in silence until they were all nearly done. Her mother asked her what her plans were for the day and Mary told her about her trip to Diagon Ally. "You shouldn't leave your shopping to the last minute like this you know" her mother scolded, "I told you to get everything you needed when we were there next week; I'm afraid your father and I have plans for the day so you must go alone." Mary simply rolled her eyes, the whole reason she had left her shopping to today was so that she could go without them.
After leaving the table Mary headed to the drawing room where the main fireplace was. She threw some floo powder into the fireplace, she then stepped into the emerald green flames and said "Diagon Ally".
First thing on Mary's to-do list was to get new robes, she entered 'Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasion' and was fitted. She got three sets of school robes, one set of green robes and one set of midnight blue robes just for the heck of it, and then another set of green dress robes because you never know when you are going to need them. Mary had them all bundled up and shrunk so that she could carry them in her pocket and left the shop. Next was her school books; for these Mary went to 'Flourish and Blots '. She quickly found all she needed and went into other sections pursuing other reading material. Mary loved to read, always had. You could almost say that Mary used reading as an escape, she found that when she had a good book all of her problems just melted away. Suddenly the girl in front of her turned around and accidentally pushed her down. The girl simply stared for a minute before beginning to compose herself, she then apologized and introduced herself as Jasmine Anderson. The two were picking up all the books that had fallen when Mary responded "It's ok I'm fine. I'm Mary Evans, third year Slytherin." She then shifted all of her books into one arm and extended her hand, hoping that Jasmine wouldn't regret talking to her because she was a Slytherin. That was a problem that Mary had had the past two years, she had trouble finding people who will talk to her outside of her own house.

Jasmine was relieved that the younger girl was alright and she didn’t mean to bump into her light that. It was just that Jasmine always was taken back when she was getting her books. Since she was a Ravenclaw she loved to read and work on her studies. As the younger girl introduce her self as Mary Evans and extended her hand. Jasmine stared at her hand and took out her trembling hand and shake Marry hand. "You.... don’t seem to be a mean Slytherin." Jasmine whispered taking her trempling hand back to her side. She was always very shy when she meant new people and that’s why she had no friends. Maybe this Mary person will be her friend.
Jasmine smiled warmly at the girl and looked at the stack of books she was carrying. She remembered all the books from her third year at Hogwarts. That was also another lonely year as well. Jasmine than walked out of line and into the center of the store. She noticed that Mary had followed her and she smiled again warmly at her. "Do you wont to look around with me there nothing better I need to do and the train doesn’t leave in four hours so we need to kill our time?" Jasmine asked Mary continuing to smile at the girl. She hoped that she will say yes because the girl seemed to be like herself. Not that many friends but she seemed more confident with herself than Jasmine was.
As Jasmine waited for a reply she looked around her at the shop. She was looking for the right book to look at and get lost in. As her eyes swept passed the books on each self she notice a book on potions. Jasmines eyes than lit up and a smile spread across her face. She than walked over towards the book and took it out. As the big black book was in her hands she opened it up to the table of contents. There were at least thousands of pages on all the potions in the wizarding world. Even the very powerful ones like the inadvisably one and the love potions.
Jasmine was different from most Ravenclaws most Ravenclaws love Charms but Jasmine loved potions. It was maybe caused because it reminded her of experiments. When she was at the orphanage she coppiced her time by reading and doing experiments in her room. But when she got adopted she spent most of her time in the barns cleaning out stalls, cleaning tack, feeding the horses, teaching the younger children, and going to shows.

Although Jasmine seemed a little shaken by the fact that Mary was a Slytherin she was still being rather pleasant. 'A very nice change indeed' Mary thought. "You.... don’t seem to be a mean Slytherin." Jasmine said. This caused Mary to laugh, just a little until she caught herself, she did not want Jasmine to think she was rude or anything. It was rather amusing though, the common (and often right) perception of Slytherins certainly wasn't a flattering one. 'But that doesn't mean you have to follow it' Mary silently told herself.
Jasmine moved more into the center of the store and Mary decided to go with her 'she seems really nice and what have I to lose? If she is trying to get away from me then whatever I will move on, and if not then I just may gain a friend' Mary reasoned as she followed the older girl out of the line. Jasmine's smile at the site of Mary behind her got rid of all her worries about seeming pathetic, following a stranger when she doesn't even know if she likes her. Mary returned the smile with one of her own which only grew when Jasmine asked if Mary would like to join her. "I would love that!" Mary exclaimed, maybe a little to excitedly and told herself to calm down. "I have a bit of a passion for books and reading. Although I do have a problem, I buy more books then I can read; and even when I can read them I will often have moved on to a new author or a new genre and will not feel like it. About a third of the books I have in my room are unread, and another third I have read so many times they are falling to pieces." Mary babbled. Mary had a tendency to babble when the subject was books, or music, or ... well many things.
Jasmine had gone over to look at a book about potions. Mary followed and found some very interesting potions in the other books around that she wanted to try. They were near the fiction section so Mary wandered over there, she loved books. Her favourite genre at the moment was historical fiction. She picked up a large book with a simple red hard cover called 'Uther'. It was about Uther Pendragon, King Arthur's father. 'Wow this sounds really interesting' Mary thought and added it to her pile. She then returned to Jasmine and showed her the book, "This sounds interesting doesn't it? I love historical fiction, whats your favourite genre?" Mary asked.

Jasmine smiled at the girl’s energy and tried to calm herself down. She than listen to her talk about books and being half of then unread. "She must be rich but she isn’t a snob like some people I know" Jasmine thought in her mind and nodded her head at the girl. She was feeling more like herself and conferrable talking to Mary. "I barely have time to read over to summer. Usually I am in the barn cleaning out the stalls, tack, feeding horses, teaching lessons, and going to tons of shows.” Jasmine said as she put the book back in its spot and followed Mary to the fiction section.
She was glad the Mary liked books and they could talk about it. "Yes it dose looked quite interesting but I like the non fiction books on potions or any subject. I guess I am just you typical Ravencalw trying to improve her studies." Jasmine said with a friendly laugh and she walked back over to the non fiction section.
Her eyes were scanning the books once again and she found an interesting title on omens. It was a divination book and this year Jasmine was taking the subject. It seemed interesting to her about the future and how the patterns of the solar system can take affect on it. Jasmine picked up the dusty light brown book and held it in her arms. She than turned it over and started to read the back of it.
The book was basicly on tea cups and the shapes of them. Jasmine smiled and looked up at Mary and wondered what other electives she was taking. "What other electives are you taking Mary?" Jasmine asked opening the book up and reading the table of contents as she always did when she picked out a book that interested her.

"You have horses, really? I love horses although I've never ridden. My cousin worked at a barn once actually and she did the cleaning of the stalls and stuff, all I did was pet the horses and tell them how cute they are" Mary responded with laughter in her voice. Mary followed Jasmine over to the non-fiction section and began looking around. All the books looked so nice Mary wanted to buy them all just so they could sit in the library and Mary could look at them. But last time she did that her mother threw a hissy fit saying that the library was too full already, and Mary buys too many books as it is. She made Mary promise that for a whole year she would only buy books one at a time and only if she really intended to read them. "This year lets see, I have ... well all the required courses obviously and I took ... muggle studies ... divination ... astronomy ... and I think I may have taken ancient runes as well but I can't quite remember. There were so many classes that I wanted I don't remember exactly what I decided on. The only one I am certain I choose was muggle studies. I have always been interested in muggles, some write excellent books."

Jamie smiled at Mary as she said that she loved horses. "Ohh yes my adopted mother is a professional horseback rider and an instructor so we have fifteen horses on our farm. Most of them were neglected and we took them in and cared for them and now we use them as lesson horses. But there are only two horses on our farm that aren’t used for lesson and that’s my horse and my adopted mother. My horse I love him so much I cared him since he was a foal. Oh my gosh I am rambling on about horses it’s just that I lived around them for six years and I just cant get enough of them." Jasmine said smiling at Mary. She could teach her how to ride and she might get to ride her horse. Her horse is the best one on the farm.
Jasmine listened intently to Mary as she talked about her electives. She loved all of them but she only took four of them. "Those sound very interesting I am taking Mugle studies, Care of magical creatures, Divination, I am also taking Ancient Runes. Yes that is allot of extra classes but I love to study and everything." Jasmine said smiling again at Marry. She was very happy right now she had just made a great new friend.
Jasmine than but the book she just took out and put it back in its right full place. She looked around the store again and she tried to find another book that stood out at her. She sighed and looked up at Marry she wonted to go to another store maybe the quidditch one. Jasmine always loved too look at the brooms and all the quidditch supplies that lined up along the walls. "Do you won’t to head over to the quiddditch store?" Jasmine asked Mary hoping that she will say yes.

"Come on, don't worry about rambling about horses, I ramble about everything." Mary said with a laugh.
"I wish I could take a lot of classes too." Mary replied when Jasmine had told her about her electives. "The only problem is I tend to procrastinate so I don't really spend to much time on my homework. So more classes would only add to the problem."
Mary continued to look around when Jasmine mentioned going to the quidditch store, "sounds great, just let me pay for these then we can head out." Mary then got in line and paid for her school books as well as 'Uther'.
"Hey, mind if we get some lunch after the quidditch store? I mean we still have a few hours and the food on the train is never enough to really hold me over you know?" Mary said as they walked out onto the busy street. The girls just followed the crowd they reached the front of the store. They then had to fight their way through to make it to the door.
Mary entered the store slightly out of breath from the exertion of trying to move through so many people heading in different directions. Suddenly all of that was forgotten as she laid eyes on the brand new broom the store had on display. "Wow!" she said "now that is a cool broom, eh?"

Jasmine smiled as Mary said she could ramble about horses for ever but Jasmine decided to leave it at it was. She smiled as Mary walked up to the clerk and paid for her school books and the special book she picked out. As Mary came up wit her paid stuff she motioned about getting lunch after they went to the quidditch store. "Owe that sounds great and we can get ice cream I am starving for Ice cream sundae with every flavor." Jasmine said starting to feel really hungry at the second.
As they walked out of Flourish and Blotts and down the busy streets they finally entered the quidditch store. As they opened the door and soft bell started to ring as a welcome sign to the store. Jasmine smiled at the sound and admired to broom Mary seemed to like. "I am going to need a really fast broom for next year I am trying out for Seeker." Jasmine said as a smile spread across her face. She than walked through the shop and smiled the sweet smell of fresh quidditch supplies. Jasmine loved the smell and she loved to look at the brooms on display. As she walked up to the firebolt broom she touched it lightly and admired it beauty. It was the fastest broom in the wizarding world but worth allot of money.
Jasmine than notice Mary behind her and she turned around at her. "Do you like to play quidditch?" Jasmine asked the younger. She than put her hair down because the pony tail kept failing form her face and always became messy. She than looked at herself in a nearby mirror and approved with the look. She than turned her head at Mary and smiled warmly at her waiting for a reply.

Mary then realised how silly she must seem and composed herself. Honestly losing her head over a broom, what would her mother say? 'Mary Claire Evans shut your mouth this instant you look like a fish! Did I not teach you proper manners? Were you raised in a barn? How can you disgrace the Evans name with such poor behaviour?' Any and all of the above Mary thought to herself as she closed her mouth and corrected her posture. "Really, seeker? Good luck, I will come to all of your games if you make it." Mary said with all sincerity.
"Well, I do enjoy playing quidditch." Mary said looking almost like she was confessing a secret. "But my mother refuses to let me play beyond with my cousins and even then she gives me the silent treatment when I try to discuss it. She says 'It is a game not fit for a lady, you should be concentrating your time on more useful things'. If it was up to her I would spend all my time outside of school in finishing school even though i graduated top of my class two years ago." Mary explained suddenly not looking quite as bright.
"It is a nice broom though." Mary said suddenly cheery again. "Man does ice cream sound good right now though. So what's your favourite quidditch team?" She asked while looking at some team robes hanging on the wall.

((OOC- I am going to make this post to enter Molly in.))
Jasmine looked up at Mary asked her about her favorite team. "To tell you the truth I don't have a favorite team." Jasmine said blushing slightly. The truth was she didn’t know any quidditch teams because she lived in the muggle life and never heard about quidditch. Jasmine than remembered Mary saying if she did make the team that she would come and watch the games. Jasmine smiled warmly at the girl "That would be great but to tell yeah the truth I don’t know if I am goanna make it." Jasmine said putting her head down. Why was she doing this she knew she would make it because she had caught the snitch at record times that would scare people out of their wits.
Jasmine than heard a faint rumbling sound echoing in the room. She put her hands on her stomach and looked up at Mary with a hungry look on her face. "I assuming we should go to the leaky cauldron and order some food lets go all I had this morning was an apple" Jasmine said walking out of the store and into the busy streets again.
As the two girls dodged the tons of people trying to get through. Jasmine than notice that she had knocked down another girl. She sighed and helped the girl up and she noticed that she was around her age maybe a year below her. Jasmine smiled warmly at the girl, "I am Jasmine Anderson fifth year Ravenclaw I am so sorry knocking you down." Jasmine said helping the girl pick up her things.

"I have never had a favourite team either, I suppose it is because I don't go to very many games." Mary said absenmindedly flipping through the last of the robes. The girls then left to get some food at "The Leaky Cauldron'.
Mary was having a hard time getting through all the people on the street, and she had to admit maybe it was not the best day for the heels. Next thing Mary knew Jasmine had knocked down another girl. Mary caught a few things that had rolled in her direction and brought them to the two girls. "You know Jasmine I think you may either be one of the most clumsy people I have ever met, or just enjoy knocking people to the ground." She said jokingly; she then turned to the other girl and gave her a smile. "And I'm Mary Evans." she said while helping them collect the last of the things on the ground.
