It was a sunny wedsnday morning. The streets of Diagon Alley were packed as ussual. Many students were going around buying their school supplys. Some were out having fun with their freinds. Mark was one of the students out buying school supplys. Mark had gotten alot of the stuff her needed already so he was headed to Flourish and Blotts to buy his books for the year. Mark looked around at the people passing by him. He recognized some of the people from school and he'd stop every once and a while to catch up with some freinds. Finally he walked up to the front door of Flourish and Blotts. Mark opened the door and walked in.
The store was filled with books and other things. There were kids everywhere and Mark felt like he was in a sardine can trying to walk. He looked around for a bit and then he pulled out his list of books he needed. Mark was going into this sixth year so he was starting to take his N.E.W.T's. Mark had beeen wanting to be an Auror since he started school so he had tryed to stay at the top of his class and he was doing pretty good in school so far. On the list was the books he needed for his classes and they were: Potions, DADA, Charms, Transfiguration, Care for Magical Creatures, Herbology, and History of Magic. Mark started walking around looking for the books he needed.
Mark walked off towards the potions and found the book he needed. Then he walked over to the DADA section. After a while he had gotten all the books he needed and he walked up to the line to check out. The line was huge so Mark was sure he would be there forever. While he was waiting he saw a woman yelling at her son who seemed to be a first year. Mark couldn't halp but smile as he turned away from the woman. As the line moved forward more Mark began to think about school. Then he was snapped out of reality by someone calling his name.

"NOOOOO!!!" Evelyn felt the gravity pull her toward the ground, she watched herself plummet to the ground and about 3 feet before she hit she woke up with a shock, she sat up quickly, dripping in sweat and slightly shaking. She crawled out of bed slowly and into the shower, the jumped into some blue jeans and a black leather top. She knew she had all of her books for the next year but she was in the mood to get out of the house because of the dream, she needed to shake off the bad feeling by going to Diagon Alley, she jumped into the fire place and took a handfull of floo powder and threw it down and said "Diagon Alley", in a blaze of fire she was in the Leakey Cauldron, she walked out and in the street and over to Flourish and Blotts and out of the corner of her eye she thought she saw Mark, but she was not quite sure, she then turned and got a good look at him and sure enought it was him. She smiled knowing today might be a little better than this morning, she called his name, "
ark" she walked up to him and smiled waiting for him to reply

Mark turned around to see who called his name and to his delight it was his girlfreind Evelyn. "Hey hey." Mark said sticking his arms out to hug her. When he let go Mark looked at her and said "What are you up to?" Mark smiled and saw the line move up so he took two steps and looked back at her. Mark hadn't seen Evelyn in a while and he was glad that he was able to see her. "So how are you doing?" Mark asked looking at her. Mark looked at her and then back up at the cashier seeing to see if the line had moved up anymore.

"I am just up to trying to get my mind off everthing today, and I am doing fine, how are you,?" she said and she hugged him back gently and looked at him and then at the line, "I hope this line moves soon," she laughed slightly and then looked up at Mark, she missed him and really did not know how to tell him, but hse did anyways, "Well Mark, you know, I have really missed seeing you, do you want to do something today?" she asked blushing a bit, then she looked up at himwaiting for his reply

Mark smiled at what she said and he said "Im doing good." The line moved up some more and he looked back at Evelyn. "Yeah its going a bit slow isn't it." Mark said laughing with her. It was so good to see Evelyn again and Mark was glad he could. "I missed you to." Mark said smiling. "Yeah I'd love to do something." Mark said smiling. Then the line moved up and he looked at her and said "So what did you have in mind?"

Evleyn watched as the line moved up and she looked at Mark and heard what he said, "Well it does not matter to me what we do," she put her hand gently on top of Marks and looked at him

Mark felt Evelyn put her hand on his and he smiled and held hers. "Well after we get out of here we could go get some ice cream or something." Mark said smiling. The line had moved up so Mark took a couple of steps. Mark looked back at Evelyn and said "What have you been doing the past couple of days?" Mark then saw the lilne move up and he stepped up to the cashier. "Is this all?" the man said "Yes." Mark said. Mark payed for his books and put them in a bag at his side and he walked out of the store holding Evelyn's hand. "So what do you want to do. And dont tell me you don't care it's your turn to choose." Mark said smiling.

Evelyn felt Marks hand and she smiled, she heard what he said and thenwatched him pay for his books, as they walked out she heard him talk again, "Well..." she said slightly thinking, she let go of Marks hand and ran down the street and spun in a circle playfully, then she ran a bit more spinning palyfully and laughing, she then stood in front of the pet shop and waited for Mark to catch up

Mark watched as Evelyn ran down the street. Mark couldn't help but laugh as he followed her until finally she stopped. Mark caught up with her in front of the pet store and looked up. "You want to go in here?" Mark asked looking at her. Mark was glad he could spend time with Evelyn and he couldn't help but smile around her. Mark looked in the window and looked at the owls hooting. Then he looked back at Evelyn waiting to see what she would say.

"Yes this is the place i want to enter," she smiled, "I want to buy you a pet, what kind of animal do you want" she said as she playfully ran into the store, she looked around at all the really neat pets that were in cages, she wondered what to get him, she tapped her finger on her forehead lightly and then looked some more

Mark was suprised at what Evelyn said "Oh no you dont have to." Mark said. Mark had had a pet before but wasn't huge on having one. He followed Evelyn into the store and said "Well I dont know what kind of animals I like." Mark looked around the store at the different owls and cats and rats and such. Mark stuck his finger in a cage with an owl in it and jumped when the owl bit him. "Stupid bird." Mark said holding his finger. Mark walked over to Evelyn and wrapped his arms around her from behind. "Surprise me." Mark said smiling. The then he kissed her on the cheeck.

Evelyn watched as the bird bit Mark, and when he walked over to her and put his arms around her she jumped a little in suprise, she heard what he said and she felt him kiss her on the cheek, "Well you just suprised me," she said slightly laughing, she then grabbed the hand with the finger that had been bit, she kissed it gently so that she would not hurt it, she smiled at him and then ran playfully towards another aisle full of animals, a jet black owl caught her eye, she turned and faced it, the put her hand in the cage and pet it gently, it cooed, she smied and stared it in the eyes, "Now I am buying you for my friend, you better be nice to him or I will turn you into a fish and I will feed you to the owl I own, Okay?" she said to owl evily, it looked at her a bit spooked, she pulled it out of the cage and it flew up onto her shoulder she walked over to the cashier and bought it and grabbed the cage and walked over to Mark, but before she got to him, "That is your new owner, his name is Mark, now remember if I hear anything other than good news about you, you will be my owls lunch," she whispered to the owl who was still on her shoulder, she walked up behind him and put her hands on his shoulders and waited for him to say something

Mark smiled when Evelyn jumped. "Didn't mean to." Mark said laughing. He felt her kiss his finger and Mark smiled. Mark watched her go over to a different shelf and he looked around at the different animals. Mark saw a kitten sitting in a cage and he walked up and started to pet it. Then after a while Mark felt Evelyn's hands on his shoulders. Mark turned around and saw the owl. "It's great." Mark said smiling. Mark looked at the owl and then back at Evelyn. "You get to name it." Mark said smiling. Mark puthis arm around Evelyn's back and waited to see what she said.

Evelyn smiled as she felt his arm and pet the owl on the beak, "His name is Lynix," she smiled again and Lynix flew onto Marks shoulder, she put her arm around Marks back and ran her finger up and down his side, she really did not know what to say, but she knew she was enjoying herself being with him

Mark watched as the owl flew onto his shoulder. "Hey Lynix" Mark said petting the owl. Then he felt Evelyns hand on his side. Mark smiled and leaned in and kissed her. "Thank you." Mark said smiling at her. Mark put the owl back in the cage and said "So what do you say we blow this popcicle stand?" Mark said smiling at Evelyn.

Evelyn smiled when he kissed her, she then listened to Mark, "Sure, lets go, where do you want to go she said as she opened the door for Mark and watched him wak through to the street, but before he could answer she grabbed his waist from behind and stood on her tip toes and kissed the back of his neck and then waited for his reply

Mark followed Evelyn out to the street. When she asked him where he wanted do do Mark was about to answer but he felt her Grab his waist and kiss him on the back of the neck. Mark smiled and turned her around and kissed her on the lips. Then Mark let go of her and said "So what do you say we just walk around looking for fun?" Mark smiled and looked at her waiting for her reply.

Evelyn looked at Mark when he kissed her, she listened to him and leaned forward and squinted, "I think I am looking at fun" she said laughing, she leaned closer and kissed him on the lips slowly and she stood straight up when she was done waiting for Mark to reply

Mark smiled at what Evelyn said. "Yeah I am pretty fun huh?" Mark said smiling. Mark felt Evelyn kisss him and he kissed her back. Mark smiled at her and said " Ok then lets go walk around." Mark grabed Evelyns hand and started walking around with her. They passed alot of shops and people. Mark looked downat Evelyn as they walked and said "So have you figured out what you want to do when your older?"

Evelyn felt Marks hand as they walked and she heard himask what she wanted to do when she got older, "Coach a quiddich team and make brooms professionally" she said then she looked at the ground and wondered what Mark was going to say
