It was a beautiful summer day. School was out and Mark was determined to make the best of it. Mark walked around with his black robes swaying in the slight breeze. He wasn't looking for anything perticular just walking around to see if there was anything interesting. Mark looked into the book store and saw the book he had been wanting to get for a while. Mark walked into the store and paid for his copy of "Magical Mishaps: A book of what happens when magic goes wrong." Mark put the book in a bag that he carried at his side.
When Mark left the book store he continued to walk up Diagon Alley. Mark looked in many shops seeing if there was anything else he might want. Finally Mark stopped at the Ice Cream shop to cool down. He ordered a banana spli and sat down at a table outside eating it.

Evelyn was walking through town not knowing quite what to do, though she had quite a bit of money, something caught her eye,
It was Mark, Evelyn scurried up to the table Mark had to himself and said, "Hi Mark, hows your summer been so far?"

Mark noticed Evelyn walk up and sit next to him. "Hey Evelyn." Mark said. Mark had met Evelyn on the train ride home from school. "My summers been pretty good. How about yours?" Marks asked. Then he realized how rude he was being and said "Can I buy you some ice cream?"

Evelyn blushed at his politeness but then said, "No thank you I am fine," then she added, "my summer has been quite boring actually." She folded her arms layed them on the table and set her head lightly on them and said, "where are you going to go this summer?"

Mark watched as Evelyn layed down her head and asked him a question. "This summer I dont think Im going anywhere. I think Im just staying here in England hanging around Digaon Alley." Mark said. "Your staying at your aunts arent you?" Mark asked.

Evelyn look slightly up and said, "yes i am going to be with her all summer," then she put her head back down

"I have some galloens I wanted to spend on useless odd and ends, the she chuckeled lightly and raised her head up and looked at Mark, lots for words, so she waited for him to say something

"Yeah sounds like me." Mark said lauging. Mark saw her look up at him and he looked at her and said "Well do you wan't to go walk around?"

Evelyn thought about it for a moment, then she said, "Sure I would love to" she then got up and looked around at all the people and then back at Mark and waited for him to say something

"Alright then lets go." Mark said as he turned and started to walk. "So is there any place particular you would like to go?" Mark asked Evelyn.

Evelyn shrugged, "well, i dont really know, where do you fancy on going?" Evelyn asked lighty, then she looked around again out of boredom waiting for Mark to answer her question

"It really doesn't matter to me." Mark said. "Do you just want to walk around and see if there is anythin we want?" Mark asked lookind down at Evelyn.

"okay, that sounds like a good idea, what shop do you want to enter first?" Evelyn asked taking two steps forward so that she did not have to look up at Mark when she talked

Mark looked around and the first shop e saw was Flourish and Blots. "I could use some new quills." Mark said. "Let's go in there."

Evelyn nodded, and strolled lightly across the ground keeping a foot or two distance from Mark, so she might not inquire anything was going on between the two of them,

Mark noticed Evelyn keeping distance between them and he said "I won't bite." As they went into the store Mark looked at all the diferent quills and decided to buy 5 black ones. "Is there anything you want?" he asked Evelyn.

Evelyn laughed at what Mark said and shortened her distance to around a foot or less, she then heard him ask her the question and she grabbed a sliver quill and purchaced it at the counter and also a few sheets of deep blood red colored paper and put it in her bag.

Mark payed for his quills and put them in his bag. "So where to next?" he asked nicely. I love being around her Mark thought as he moved closer to her. They kept walking down the street as Mark awaited her answer.

"I have the least clue," then realising that his shadow was over she moved over a bit to his other side to be in the warm and beautifull sun, since it was gleaming down heavenly golden rays, she then thought wow his face is so handsome in this light
