The new girl

[Willow Woolf R4]

A girl with auburn hair walked into Diagon alley. It was Full of people, Wiches Wizards, Squibs. Flicking her hair behind her shoulder she walked into her first shop. 'Madam Malkins' The sign read above the door. Opening the door a room with red fabric walls, changing rooms, and cloaks gallore around the shop. Walking up to the front desk the girl said. "Hello. I am Willow Croft. I am trasfering schools and now going to Hogwarts. Do you think you can fit me for a few dozen black cloaks?" she asked the woman at the desk. Standing up she said, "Surely dear, come this way and stand on that platform!" the woman said with a smile.

Willow walked over to the platform and took off her purple cloak. Folding it she set it down and stepped on to the platform. The woman from behind the desk started measuring Willow from arm to arm, leg to head and etc. Holding back laughing, Willow looked at herself in the mirror acrossed from her. She was wearing a dark maroon shirt with a jean skirt. With a smile at the woman she walked into the back room. Putting her arms down, Willow tapped her side as she looked around the vast room. Humming to herself she put her hair behind her ears and turned her head as she saw the woman come back with three cloaks in her arms in an assortment of colors. "Well you need to try on these and I will fit you with a black one." she said handing her a brown cloak. Slipping her arms through the sleeves she looked at herself in the circle mirror.

"Seems a bit short on the arms, a bit longer please." she said as she took the cloak off. "Also a bit longer in all." she said as she handed it back to the woman. With a nod the woman handed her another cloak, bright green. Putting it on she modeled it for herself and the shop keeper. "I love it!" she said in glee. "Perfect." she said looking at the woman in the mirror. "Grand." the woman said as she slipped it off of Willow. Stepping down from the platform, Willow put on her dark Purple cloak. Following the woman to the chas register she pointed her wand at the cloak. "How many do you want dear?" she asked. Willow thought and said, "Umm 12 please." she said as she took out the right amount of galleons and sickles. The woman started to put her cloaks into 12 bags. "Oh Dear no, Owl them to this address. Much easier!" she said as she took out a letter and gave it to the woman. "Very well. Come back again dear!" the woman said with a smile as Willow walked out of the shop.

Closing the door after herself, she didnt know where to go next. Wondering through crowds of people, she walked into the heart of Diagon Alley.

[Ayumi]

Ayumi walked down Diagon Alley looking for Madam Malkin's shop. Her short black hair popped up and down in it's ponytail. Finally she spotted the shop and rushed towards it. Her black plaid skirt flowing in the breeze. Her boots made loud thumps as it hit the cobblestone ground. Her Crimson Robe trailed behind her and rippled in her breeze. Finally she reached the front door and stopped in time to avoid bumping into a girl with Auburn hair. She followed in after and looked for the counter. Again she spotted the Auburn haired girl and listened as she requested for a dozen robes for hogwarts.
"Hm hogwarts, I'm going there too... Ayumi muttered to herself"
She walked forward and waited. A tall witch walked up to her, "How can I help you dear"
Ayumi quickly turned around and said," Oh um hi, I need um black robes for um hogwarts um yeah."
The witch smiled, "follow me dear"
Ayumi followed and was told to stand upon a stool. She removed her Crimson robe and hung it on a nearby hook. The witch began taking measurements and finally handed her a red robe. "Try this on dear" Ayumi tried the red robe and saw that it fit perfectly. The sleeves went well pass her fingers, about an inch or so, and her robe just stopped an inch before her ankles. "Perfect, um can I have a dozen"
"Of course, please follow me"
Ayumi jumped off the stool, her boots creating a "THUD!" on the ground and quickly pulled on her robe. She turned and stared at her reflection. There in the mirror stood A black haired girl with crimson eyes. She wore a black plain skirt and black tank-top. Her Crimson robe blanketed her, and her platformboots were lined with small bucles. After a few seconds she turned around and rushed back to the counter, where her 12 dozen robes lay, all were folded perfectly and placed in boxes, 4 boxes. She placed them all in a bag, and turned around, carry 2 bags. She walked out of the Shop and noticed that the auburn haired girl was gone. She shrugged and began walking down the path, looking for the quidditch shop. She looked around, eyeing many shops. As she began to enter the heart of Diagon Alley, she looked aimlessly around, lost in thought. Until suddenly she bumped into someone and fell hard on the floor. She cursed to herself and quickly picked up her misplaced robes. After she had replaced her robes into the bag, she looked ahead of her and met eyes with the Auburn haired girl.
" I am terribly sorry... " Ayumi muttered

Willow walked quite slow toward the heart of Diagon Alley. She stopped and looked at all the shops. 'Back home we didnt have this.' She thought. ' but then again i wasnt that far away, how odd.' she thought as she stopped and looked into a few windows of some shops. 'Honedukes' a sign read as she looked into a shop window. 'Candy. Im quite hungry, but not for Candy.. Later on I Guess.' she thought to herself again as she slowly crossed through a crowd of people.

There was a slight break in the crowd as she took a breath of relef. She wasnt to fond of large crowds. She didnt feel safe, nor could she breath a full breath of clean air. Walking at her own strolling pace she jumped forward as she was pushed from her back. "Whoa! Watch it!" she exclaimed as she tripped and landed on her butt on the ground. A Very young girl, was behind her quickly picking up robes and things. "oh..." she said as she took in a breath. With a calm look on her face, she put her hair behind her ears and said to the girl, "Its fine, dont worry." She said with a shy grin and helped the girl pick up a few of her robes.

Standing up she whiped off her skirt and her robe of dirt. Looking towards the girl she said. "Quite a load huh?" she said with a small laugh and sweet smile. "Are you alright?" she asked a bit worried to the younger girl.

[Ayumi]

Looking sheepishly up at the older girl, Ayumi grabbed the last of her robes and replied
"Um y-yeah... I'm r-realy s-sorry." She said managing a quivering smile.
When the older girl smiled sweetly, Ayumi felt a bit relieved and relaxed a bit. She smiled at the girl's comment and let out a small giggle. "Yeah, need it for hogwarts and stuff, ya know"
She looked around and noticed that the crowd around them began to bustle more quickly as people began to fill in. "Gosh, this place is so full... wanna go somewhere and have a something to eat? I'm starved... and these bags are really a pain on me"
Ayumi said, looking hopefully up at the girl.

Willow Listened as they said she was really sorry, in a scared or nervious voice. "Im fine, really." she said with a softening smile. Listening to the younger girl Will, nodded her head. "Yea, down the street, I think, is a pub. My older brother brought me here before a few years back. I hope its still here." Willow she as she started to walk toward it. Talking backward she said to the girl. "My name is Willow. Willow Croft. Im going to Hogwarts to.. Im going to be in fifth year, but its going to be my actually first year attending it. I transfured." she said with a grim smile. "What year are you going to be?" she asked as she reached a pub. "The Three broom sticks, Thanks it!" she said full of glee. Opening the door, she held it open for the younger girl too, since she was pilled with bags and boxes.

After she walked past her, Willow closed the door. Walking over to a table in the corner next to the window she sat down. "So you didnt say what your name was?" Willow asked as a waitress came up to the table. "Butterbeer please." she nodded and looked toward Ayumi. "And you dear?" the waitress said, waiting for an answer.

[Ayumi]

Listened intently as Willow spoke, she was relieved that she had not taken anything offensivly and was happy that she had someone to talk to that was also attneding hogwarts. She Followed Willow who lead her to a pub that was called the three broom sticks. She graciously walked through the door that willow held and muttered a thank you.
She looked around and saw many witches, wizards and squibs deep in conversation with huge mugs of drinks laid in front of them.
Willow finally found a seat and Ayumi settled in the seat across her, dropping her belongings on the floor.
Willow asked Ayumi a question, and quickly she looked up and met with the eyes of a waitress. "And you dear" the waitress said. "Oh I'll have a butterbeer too."
The waitress walked off and Ayumi looked back to Willow.
"Well I'm Ayumi, Ayumi Kimoto. This is my first year at hogwarts, so yeah I'll be a first year student."
"And I'm not really from England you see, I actually moved here from Japan."
" And you, where did you transfer from...?"
Ayumi asked with a look of interest.

Willow smiled at Ayumi. "Well Hello Ayumi!" she said with a slight laugh, since they already had a conversation and she is first saying hello now.
The waitress came back with two butterbeers. Setting them on the table she walked away.

"Thanks." Willow said as she took her butterbeer and opened it. "Your first year. I remember my first year of school!" she said taking a sip of her drink. Listening to Ayumi's question she said. "I used to go to Beauxbaton, in France. Not to far, but you know." she said with a smile. "Are you excited for your first year? I hear Hogwarts is top of the line, but they have a few mean people." Willow frowned and shrugged a little.
"But hey, At least you wont be the only new person in your year." she said with a smile, but thought in her head 'your going to be the only new one in your year.'

[Ayumi]

Ayumi smiled, it was funny to say hello at this time in the conversation. She took a long gulp of her butterbeer and listened to Willow.
"Heh, BeauxBaton, ooo I heard of that, it's a very lovely school, I would have gone there but my mom decided to move here." She said her smile lessening.
"I hope I'm not the only first year or else, I'll just feel so stupid."
Ayumi continued talking another long sip.
"Hmm they say that the slytherins at hogwarts are the ones to stay away from.."
Taking her final sip, ayumi called for the waitress again. "Yes Dear"
"Um another butterbeer pleae and can I have a burger?"
"Right away"
The waitress turned to Willow, "anything else for you?"

The waitress came back and Will answered. " Oh yes, Umm I would want a turkey sandwich with no Mayo or onions Slightly toasted bread." she said with a smile. Thw waitressed looked at her a bit weird, but will didnt care much about her. With a sip of her butterbeer she listened to Ayumi go on. "Yes, my cousin used to go to Hogwarts and said Slytherins are the bad ones. Everyone else gets along." Listening to her more, she shook her head. "Oh dear no! You wont be the only first year. It will be fine!" she said with a reassuring smile.
"Beauxbaton is a good school. Very High in academics. Im sad I left, but well my Mother said her work wanted he in this school... so... we had to come." she said taking a drink from her bottle.

"So how long did you live in Japan? Do you miss it? Willow asked as her eyes wandered outside through the window to a ground of kids walk by.

[Ayumi]

"Oh wow you're really hungry." Laughed Ayumi. She pushed her drink aside and continued.
"Well I guess you right, but you know I can't help feeling that." She said.
"Well, I lived in Japan since I was born for about 10 years and then moved here. I mis it so much. Especially school. BUt My mother has her reasons..."
Silence drifted for awhile then the waitress came back with their orders.
Ayumi gazed at her burger and disregarding her manners, she grabbed it and ate it quickly.
When she finished her first bite, she looked up at Willow, "Hey are these rumors true, you know about, This Harry Potter boy who goes to hogwarts, and some guy named Voldermort returning? Cause that's all the talk I've been hearing since I got here!"

Willow laughed as she heard her comment about food. "Im picky!" she said with a smile. Her food same as she picked it up and started to eat. Ayumi said something about Harry Potter. "Oh I know about about him. Since Hogwarts and Beauxbaton play Quidditch against each other." she took a bit out of her sandwich and put it down. She swallowed her food and started. "Well for one thing.. " She whispered. "Voldemort isn a name people usually say. Its You-Know-Who. Since people are afriad that you you say his name it will bring him back to power." she started talking in her normal voice. "When Harry was younger, for some reason or another You- Know- Who killed his parents, and attemped to kill Harry too. But something held him from not killing him so Harry stayed alive, as Vol.. You-Know-Who, lost power." taking a sip of her drink she went on. "So, Now like He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named trys to hurt Harry every year. But in all six years of Harry's school years, he never succedded." Willow raised her eye brows as she smiled. "Harry has a Troubled life. I actually feel sad for him, since he has no family. He lives at his aunts in Muggle London." she said as she grabbed her sandwich and started to finish up the second half.

[Ayumi]

Ayumi listened in awe. "Hm... I guess this V-guy must be really big, and this Harry kid, Well I guess that's the curse he recieves for surviving... ya know." She said Taking another bite from her burger.
"Oh well, guess we'll see him when we get to hogwarts." She said, picking up her burger again and continuing eating it.

Willow finished her sandwich and started to finish her butterbeer. "Yea I guess." She said in return. She was a bit at a loss for words. Tapping her nails on the table she leaned back and stared out the window and fell into a day dream about School. Wonder who is gonna be in her year, if she is going to have any friend. She started to wonder who she was going to room with. She feel a bit worried as she brought her hand up to her mouth and started to bit her nails, not knowing since she was still in a daze from the window and her Day dream.

[Ayumi]

Ayumi finally finished her burger and gulped down her butterbeer. She looked at willow who was absent-mindly staring out the window. Not wanting to disturb her, Ayumi dug into her robe and took out her supply list. Checking off all the items.
"Good I have everything" She muttered under her breath.
After that she looked back at willow who was now biting her nails.
Ayumi felt no need to disturb her because she was lost in words.
She looked around the three broomsticks for a few minutes and then noticed the clock.
"Oh!" Ayumi jumped up and began collecting her things.
"I have to go! Or I'll miss my train! She looked at willow and thanked her for her company. Then she dropped her share of the lunch on the table. "I'll um se you probably when we go to hogwarts." Ayumi said hurridly, she smiled and rushed out of the Pub and out onto the busy cobblestone path.

Will jumped as Ayuim said Oh, loudly. "Oh alright." she said putting down her hand. "Ill see you at Hogwarts, dear. Good luck your first year." she said with a smile as she helped her pick up some of her things and watched her leave. Putting enough gallions on the table, Will left the three broom sticks a few minutes after Ayuim. Walking out into the street she crossed her arms to sheild herself from a slight cold breeze that flew at her body head first.
