Camping is what they called it; all those muggles who had no clue how primitive the whole idea was. They gave up their precious electricity for a while and decided to live in the woods with just the bare neccesities. Marik wasn't quite sure how they found entertainment in it, but he had been doing it with his family since he was a boy, so he was used to it by now. Of course, ever since his learning of magic, he wondered why he allowed himself to sink back to such limitless times. It made his family happy, and that was enough to get him out of the house for a week and into the cool mountain air.
The birds were chirping loudly as Marik yawned sleepily. Stretching his arms and legs in his sleeping-bag, he rolled over and checked his watch- 8:37 am! The tent was empty. Where in the world could everyone have went at such an early time? Pulling on a pair of jogging shorts and a hooded sweatshirt, he climbed his way out of the tent and into the morning sun. Squinting, he pulled his bag out from the tent and zipped it up.
The morning fire was almost out, indicating that his family had been gone for a while. Probably hiking or something else that didn't interest Marik. He found a banana, and grabbed it, heading onto the path that led deeper into the woods.
He had the trail memorized. It was the same one he walked everyday he spent camping. Besides himself, he had never seen anybody else use it. He liked this privacy. Climbing over a fallen tree, he could see the cabin. Propped up in a tree, it appeared to be even more decaying than ever. The rain from the past year had done much damage. Walking over to the base of the tree, he began climbing the wooden planks that led to the tree house. Taking extra care, he checked each piece of wood to make sure they wouldn't crumble under his weight, leaving him to fall to the ground.
Finally making it to the top, he heaved his bag onto the landing with a thud. He pulled his weight up, and made it safely onto the landing. Expecting an abandoned room as usual, Marik jumped back in surprise when he saw another person there. "Who are you?" he gasped in shock. "What are you doing here? I mean, usually nobody else is here." He wondered if maybe she was the owner of the cabin, and he was simply trespassing. He hoped that the girl was not easily angered. "Is this your cabin?" he finally questioned.
((OOC: Sorry if ths isn't great... I have to leave for work really soon, so I kind of rushed it ))
