((sorry it's rather short, but I have little inspiration for Alex today))
Alexandra's day had been, if nothing else, quiet. She had awoken to find Cassandra gone, naturally, and Pyro was off doing whatever. As usual, Pyro's parents were no where to be found. So, she found herself alone. She took a quick shower, dressed, and threw on some make-up. She looked alright, so she went downstairs for some breakfast. She had decided the night before that she was going to do her school shopping that morning. She was hoping that Pyro had been around so that she could have invited him along as well, but he was no where to be found. So she figured shopping alone would be alright.
The house elves at the manor, with Pyro's urging, had, at least, listened to Alexandra's orders. She tried not to ask them too many things, because she didn't want Charles to think she was a spoiled brat. That morning, however, she was desperately hungry and need some breakfast. The house elf was a bit surly as being asked to make food, but it did. Alexandra ate her scrambled eggs and drank her pumpkin juice and was off. She was at the fire place within minutes and throwing Floo powder into the hearth, announcing 'Diagon alley' as clearly as she could. The green flames engulfed her and she was spinning away to Diagon Alley.
She landed painfully, as she always did. Standing, she brushed off her shoulders and walked through the pub, The Leaky Cauldron, to wards the back. Alexandra, automatically, tapped the bricks with her wand and entered the alley. Her purse, tied to her belt, was jingling as she walked past the many shops. Her list had come already and, with an almost business-like air about her, she went about the shops, looking for the things she would need. Her books were first. So she entered Flourish and Blotts, scanning the rows of books for her copies.
