((YEY! I finally posted! Now we can finally move on with our little plot. *waits to be handed cookies*))
The morning sun was shinning brightly as Lisa rounded a street corner, continuing down a straight path at a slow paced jog. The sound of her shoes brushing against the black top was all she could hear. Normally Lisa would run to a Music Crystal that was attached to her clothes. That morning, Lisa had just left the device on her bedside table to just run to the sound of her heartbeat and footsteps. Lisa had always thought well when she ran. Adding music to her open mind just made her only concentrate on the certain song that was playing. It was always good to listen to music when you were running long distances and it kept Lisa from having to worry about different things. Thoughts of what kind of a house to buy or whether or not a job in the Ministry of Magic was a good idea was racing through Lisa’s head as she jogged. Her father Craig worked in the Ministry and so did her mother, it was how the two met, but Lisa always had another career idea. Ever since she started to play Quidditch it was all she ever wanted to do. It was just one of the reasons she ran was to keep in shape for an upcoming match. Lisa was just confused on what she wanted in her life after Hogwarts. All her sister's lives seemed to be going on the right track. Her oldest sister Erin was happily married with a baby son Josh. Becky had been working as a healer at St. Mungo's and coming up with new antidotes. Finally Andrea was trying to open a new wizarding shop in Diagon Alley with the help of her boyfriend. That only left Lisa to decide and her parents weren't helping much because they wanted her to work with them in the ministry. Why did life ever have to be so confusing?
As the sight of the familiar brick house came into view, all thoughts seemed to vanish as Lisa took out her keys from her pocket. Setting them inside the lock, she turned it and the door flew open. The house was a quiet and empty as usual as Lisa pulled her brown hair out of its pony tail. Shaking her head about, she entered the kitchen grabbing a bottle of water from the refrigerator. “Out running again?” a familiar voice asked from the kitchen table. With a raised eyebrow Lisa turned around seeing Andrea eating at the kitchen table. “You know me all too well. I didn’t know you were coming home this week,” Lisa responded while leaning her elbows on the clean countertop and taking a sip of the ice cold water. Andrew shrugged making her reddish colored hair flay about. “I thought I would pop in to give you some ads for apartments and houses.” With a roll of her eyes Lisa tapped the counter top with her finger nails. “That’s nice of you but I don’t need any help. I don’t even know what I want to do.” With a defeated sigh she took another slug of the water. Andrew threw the ad paper on the counter Lisa had been leaning on and it skidded toward her elbows. “Just take a look at it and I’m sure you’ll figure it out. After all you were accepted a job in the Ministry, but I have to go now. I promised I would work the later shifts tonight,” Andrew said with a comforting older sister smile and with a pop vanished from the room. Lisa rolled the paper up, while making her way toward the bathroom. She would have to take a shower and get out of jogging clothes before thinking anything over.
Lisa was finally ready to go as she quickly moved down the stairs. Her brown hair flew about in her face, more curly than straight. She wore her favorite black cloak with a white, lacey blouse with a couple flowers on the neckline and her favorite pair of blue jeans. Grabbing a handful of Floo powder, Lisa threw it down in the fireplace. Emerald green flames began to build up around her as she began to spin. The sensation stopped as she stood in the darkness of the Leaky Cauldron fireplace. Coughing as she walked out Lisa tried to brush off the dirt from her cloak. The small pub was full of people sitting about at tables or at the bar. Noticing an empty table toward the end, Lisa quickly made her way toward it, setting her things down on the ground. Taking out the house adds from the bag she began to flip through the pages. Lisa would have asked Mandy or another one of her friends to join her, but they were all on vacation and worried about their own future plans. Hearing a voice at the foot of the table, Lisa looked up from the paper with a curious look.
