Cougar strode down the walkway looking at all of the wonderful things there were to purchase in Diagon Alley. Cougar wished he had more money; however, He'd just have to get over it. He went into Ollivan't for a moment just to reminesce. He remembered when he first got the magical peice of wood that hung loose from his belt. He was still in dis-belief. Yet here he was 4 years later at the same spot. He had lingered long enough and decided it was time he got to the cafe to meet Maryn. He asked if she had time to hang sometime. It had been a while since they had spoken. Cougar wondered how she had been. He walked in and grabbed a two-seated table. He placed two spoons in each chair to make sure the seats were reserved.
Cougar walked up to the bar and ordered two hot chocolates, one for Maryn and one for him. He did not, for sure, know what Maryn wanted, but He figured you couldn't go wrong with chocolate so he took the drinks back to the table. He sat down, took a sip of his own drink, and stared out the window. He remembered how not a year or so ago the teriible attack on Diagon Alley took place. The horror came back as he remembered how one was blinded and one dead and many, many others injured. He took another sip and thought to himself.

"You sure you will be okay?" Maryn asked Nate. He sat up a little in his hospital bed. He looked the same. His hair was still intact, he was pale, and tubes were still sticking out of him. It was something that was hard for Maryn at first, but now she just looked at him and saw good ole Nate. He nodded. "Maryn geez I'm not a baby. Plus, you will only be gone a few hours." He told her. Maryn nodded. She knew this, but it was still hard for her to leave him alone. "How are you going to get there?" Nathan asked. This was true, Maryn now lived in Liverpool not London. She smiled a bit thinking. "Floo Powder." She said calmly. Nathan knew all about that so he nodded. "But, how will you get the network?" He asked. The hospital was about twenty minutes from home. Maryn's parents knew Maryn was seeing Cougar in Diagon Alley, but they were too busy working to give her a lift home. "I guess I'll take a taxi home and use the network at home." She said calmly. "Unless they have one here. I'll ask a nurse." Maryn joked pretending to walk out of the room to find one. "Maryn." Nathan called. She giggled walking back in the room. "Very funny." he commented. Maryn nodded still laughing.
"Okay so how do I look?" She asked twirling. Of course, it didn't really matter. Cougar was just a friend, but still Maryn liked to look decent. She was wearing her old jeans and a short sleeved black and white striped tunic and pink flit flops. Of course, pink hoop earing finished the look. Nathan laughed. "Like Maryn." He commented. Nate liked Maryn's punk like style. It was her and he knew that. "Ok, well I have to go." She sighed picking up her old creme messenger bag with her wand and money in it. "Be good." She said eying him. "Maybe." Nathan commented laughing." "Bye Maryn said waving leaving the room. Her parents had both agreed leaving Nate alone for a few hours would be okay. Plus, the nurses would take care of him and keep him company. So, there was nothing for Maryn to worry about. She walked down the hall and went down the elevator. Maryn walked out side and waved down a taxi. She then gave him the directions. This would be an interesting day.
Maryn walked into the house about twenty minutes later. "Hey guys it's me!" She called to Mercy and Tommy. Their parents were at the bookstore so the two were home alone. Maryn's parents let Mercy babysit even though she was only nine. "Maryn!" Tommy called running down to hug his sister. "What are you doing here?" He asked all excited. "I need the Floo Network to go to Diagon Alley." She told him. "Ohh." Tommy nodded. Maryn looked around. "Where's Mercy?' She asked. Tommy laughed. "Asleep." Maryn laughed too. "Well, be god okay. I have to go." She told him as she walked into the room where the fireplace was. "Can I watch?" Tommy asked fascinated. "Sure." Maryn said walking in and picking up a dash of Floo Powder. "Bye Tommy." She said. Maryn then dropped the powder. "Diagon Alley!" She demanded clearly. Within an instant, Maryn was walking out of a fireplace coughing. She smile s at the grand splendors of the alley. It had been fully restored, but ministry officials were everywhere. Maryn smiled heading for the cafe where she was to meet Cougar. Maryn walked towards it and found Cougar at a table with two drinks. "Hey." She said happily. Maryn hadn't talked to him in awhile. "How have you been?" Maryn asked looking around. "Is this for me?" She asked pointing to the drink. Maryn waited for Cougar to respond.
