Charitie walked through Diagon Alley searching for somewhere to read her letter. She passed by Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlor and decided that was the best place. She ordered herself a banana split and walked to one of the outside tables, away from everyone else. She set her split on the table and took her seat and opened her letter, eyes taking in every word she was reading.
Charitie,
I know this isn't something you want to be hearing, or reading for that matter. But this has been on my mind for too long, and I am starting to feel bad about not telling you this before. I am not your birth mother. Your birth father, was my brother. When you were born, you weren't even three weeks old, he and his wife came to my house and handed you to me. They left without telling me a thing. The bib you were wearing had the name Circe on it, so I figured that was what they called you, but I did some research adn discovered that that was all they named you. Being that I had to adopt you to take care of you and raise, in a way they never could have, I gave you your middle name and you took my last name.
Like I said before, this is not how I imagined telling you, but I couldn't go without telling you any more. If there is anything more you wish to know, don't ever be scared to send me an owl. But if you wish to never speak to me again, I will understand. I just hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.
Love you, Misty{Momma}
Charitie stared at the letter, she was un aware of the tears streaming down her face, or the people staring at her. Her world had just been blown apart, in a matter of minutes. Charitie had no clue what she was going to do now. Her mind came up with every impossible idea there was and more. Charitie also knew that crying was a sign of weakness, bad for a Slytherin, but she couldn't stop.

Sadie had been having one of the worse days, what with not being able to find everything she needed, and still not being able to return home yet. She wasn't sure if she would ever go back to that place or if she would just keep renting the same room every year at the Leaky Cauldron. These were things that she would just have to keep pondering on, and try her best to figure out. She felt that she couldn't contemplate the ideas any longer and needed a break. She decided that the best place for that break was the Ice Cream Shop.
Sadie stopped off at the Leaky Cauldron to put her shopping for the day away. She had once again spent a very valuable part of her day in the Weasleys' shop again. She couldn't understand what pulled her to that place but it had became her favorite shop in all of Diagon Alley. She wasn't paying much attention to where she was walking as she entered the Leaky Cauldron, and ran face first into an older student. She looked up, heightened her guard in case it was a Slytherin, and discovered an older Hufflepuff that she recognized as Solitaire Kieghley. "I'm deeply sorry Taire. I wasn't paying any attention." Taire had briefly meet the young Hufflepuff that she recognized as Sadie during a few classes the past year, and a few times caught her crying alone in the Common Room. "It's no problem Sadie. I'm fine and there's no damage to my stuff." Taire understood a lot of what the younger girl had been through, and would make sure to try to be her friend. "I was about to head over to Florenscue's Ice Cream Parlor, Would you like to join me?" Sadie asked Taire with an apologetic voice, "My treat." She offered at the last moment. Taire nodded in agreement. The thought of ice-cream with the younger Hufflepuff sounded amusing to the fourth year. Taire waited in the lobby for the younger girl to run and put her stuff away.
Sadie ran back down the stairs happy to see that she wouldn't have to eat ice-cream alone. "Ready?" she asked Taire, as the two girls began to walk from the Leaky Cauldron to Florenscue's Ice Cream Parlor. The conversation went through many topics ranging from how the end of the year had went for each of the girls, to boys. Sadie found it fascinating that Taire was already definite that she had found her one true love. As they reached the ice cream parlor, Sadie recognized a young Slytherin that she knew. The girl Sadie had come to know as Charitie looked extremely distraught about something. Turning to Taire, Sadie decided to ask Taire if she minded sitting with the girl, if the Slytherin would allow it, and trying to cheer her up. Taire would on a normal basis disagree with this, but seeing the look on the girl's face, she agreed. Taire offered to order for Sadie where Sadie could go and make sure that the girl wouldn't mind them joining. She knew that there weren't many Slytherins in their right minds that would want to be seen with a couple of Hufflepuffs. Sadie walked over to the young Slytherin after handing Taire some money and telling her what she was in the mood for. As she approached Charitie she softly spoke,"Umm.. Charitie. Is everything okay? Would you like some company?" Sadie saw Taire standing with the ice creams and waiting for her to motion her over.

Charitie had been crying so hard to herself that she didn't hear Sadie approach. When she heard Sadie speak she looked up shocked and quickly wiped her face of tears.
"I'm fine. Sure have a seat."
Charitie pulled her split in front of her, granted though it was completely melted. She still picked up her spoon and dug into it. Sadie would never understand what Charitie was going through, as far as Charitie knew. Charities eyes then fell on the open letter next to her melted mess, in which she quickly grabbed it and folded it and put it back in her pocket.
"So what brings you out today?"
Charitie was trying with all her might to hide the fact of crying from her voice, but her voice still came out weakly. She hated other's to see her like this. It was not a good image for a Slytherin. But Charitie figured for today she could shrug it off. It wasn't to often that Hufflepuffs and Slytherins had a normal conversation.

Solitaire was shocked when the younger Hufflepuff she knew as Sadie had knocked her down but there was no damages done, and Sadie had offered to make it up by paying for Taire an ice cream. It was a hot enough day, so ice cream was just what Taire needed. She had been having another fight with her parents and had ran away to Diagon Alley hoping to find someone she knew. As luck would have it, that someone found her. They always had away of doing that. First Caitlin, then Dare, and now Sadie. It always managed to happen just when she needed an extra friend.
Now she was in the parlor ordering two banana splits, one with just caramel, chocolate and nuts for Sadie, and one with pineapple, strawberries, and chocolate for herself, no nuts but lots of whipped cream and cherries on the both of them. Sadie had given Taire the money for the both of them, but Taire felt bad about letting Sadie pay for them both, so she pulled some money out of her pocket and halved the cost. She noticed Sadie waving her over to the direction of a very upset girl that Sadie had said that she knew. Taire hoped that there wouldn't be trouble what with the girl being a Slytherin, but the girl did seem to need a friend or two, and that was what Sadie and Taire were both good at.
As Taire approached the table, she heard the girl say that she was fine. "Not to sound horrendously rude, but you did seem a bit upset about something." Taire couldn't help but to bring this to the girl's attention. Sadie would have been too polite to point it out. She and Taire both knew it so Sadie just nodded in agreement to it. Taire handed Sadie her ice cream, and her change; " I just couldn't let you pay for the whole thing, so I split the total with you." She said explaining the change. Sadie pointed to a chair and motioned for Taire to sit. This gave Taire the strange idea that Sadie was determined to make this girl talk about what was wrong, or at least bug her until she got irate with them and left. It was afterall Sadie's ways.
"We aren't up to much. I just offered to buy Taire an ice cream after horribly and ineptly running into her literally. We saw you looking a bit distraught and decided to make sure you were somewhat robust." Sadie said answering the girl who had still yet to be introduced to Taire. Taire knew by that speech that cunning what ever was wrong out of the girl was exactly what Sadie was up too. Taire imagined that the girl did need to talk but didn't think Sadie and she would understand. That just showed the girl's lack of knowledge of her fellow students. Almost everyone in the school last year had known that Sadie had lost both of her parents, and now had no one to turn to. That was why most people had tried to befriend Sadie. Some succedded, others did not. "Hello there, by the way. I'm Solitaire, a fourth year Hufflepuff."

Charitie nodded to both girls as they sat down. She didn't extend a hand, but decided to introduce herself.
"Circe Perabo. But everyone calls me Charitie."
She looked down at her melted mess, and then back to the girls. Her mind was fighting itself. She could tell them, but she hardly knew these girls. But she also knew that in her third year she had to make a friend yet. Maybe a Huffy wouldn't be all that bad. She was Slytherin, but there were times, she didn't feel she belonged. But in her heart she knew she did. Slytherin's were just very stuck up.
"It's nothing really."
Her voice regaining some of her Slytherin strength. But she was refusing to use it on these girls. A friend was a friend, it shouldn't matter what house. That was the ony thought that made Charitie feel wrong from time to time. But inside she still was fighting with herself. But before she could stop herself everything just spilled.
"It's just that I just found out the person whom I have known as my mother my whole life is really my aunt."
She closed her mouth, looking shocked with herself. She was hoping to not tell anyone, but she felt almost natural telling Sadie and Taire. She blinked her eyes, fighting back tears. But Charitie had know clue how well she would be able to hold them, she already let them once, chances were good they would spill again.
