Fiona pushed open the door to the Leaky Cauldron. She had made a habit of going to Diagon Alley everyday since her arrival at her uncle's manor. Mainly it was because of the continued argument between her father and her.
Fiona shook her head at the thought and walked out the back door to the brick wall. Taking out her wand Fiona lightly tapped the brick that opened the doorway to Diagon Alley. Even though Fiona had grown up in a wizarding household she couldn't help but be amazed by magic. She watched with wonder and joy as the archway to Diagon Alley came into view. Stepping into the alley she watched the hustle and bustle of witches and wizards shopping.
Fiona began to make her rounds around Diagon Alley. Stopping first in front of a display window with several other people. Fiona starred with want at the broomstick in the window. She was still riding a Nimbus 2000 around her home. Her parents wouldn't buy her a new broomstick until she made the house team.
Fiona sighed as she turned her back on the beautiful broom. She then began to walk toward Flourish and Blotts where she could find herself a new book on potions. Potions was one of the many classes she excelled in. She loved concocting potions and trying to make new ones up.
Entering the store, Fiona walked up the stairs to the potions section. She knew this place by heart and began to run her finger down the book covers trying to find one that looked like it would have different potions than the other books she's read. She began to take books down to look at and before long she found herself absorbed into a book meant for 6th years. Fiona sat down on the floor flipping through the table of contents completely absorbed in the different potions.
