Tears flooded her eyes as the young girl stared at her friend. She swallowed hard, the lump in her throat refusing to leave. Blinking furiously, trying to rid the tears from her black eyes. No. She refused to believe it. She was happy here... Why would they desert her this way? Her eyes suddenly dulled and her back went rigged. Alexandra Ricci slowly escaped into her safe shell. Taking a deep breath, she nodded only once.
"Alex... I'm so sorry..." Aubree's words seemed so far away. Distant, as if she were miles away. Alexandra nodded as if she understood. A scream, filled with frustration and hurt, echoed through her mind. Aubree moved in for a hug, but Alexandra couldn't let her. She jolted back wards, away from the blond who just broke her heart and let it lay bleeding at her feet. Alexandra could handle keeping the tears and hurt from showing, but if Aubree touched her, just once... or made her speak, she would collapse.
The blond girl, who's name was Aubree Montague, nodded sadly and sighed. Alexandra stood proudly as Aubree's parents entered the living room. Few words exchanged, none from Alexandra. Their voices blended and all Alexandra could hear was the screams in her head. Mrs. Montague said something... Ready? Ready for what? Oh... Alexandra slowly, but proudly, walked up the stairs to her room. It took her only a few moments to pack her things and say good-bye to her room. Vampire took one look at Alexandra and hooted, going into her cage as if she understood what was going to happen. Alexandra didn't say one word as she walked out the door of the home she had become attached to. The Montague's' said their good-byes, Alexandra ignoring it all.
As Alexandra called the Knight Bus, Aubree rushed forward and hugged her. Alexandra's body crumbled and she started to cry, but stood up fast and rushed onto the bus without a word. Some man with bad acne asked where she was going and Alexandra's face paled. Where would she go? Where could she go? There was no one who take her in. No friends, but Aubree. Alexandra, in a desperate attempt, blurted:
"Um, The Leaky Cauldron?" She bit her lip and the man calculated her fee. She paid and instantly ran to the darkest, loneliest corner. The tears ran down her face in waterfalls. Vampire tried to comfort her owner by a soft hoot from inside her cage. Alexandra couldn't even look at the large red eyes of her pet. As Alexandra sat there, the Knight Bus thundering through London, crying, she wondered, angrily, why those she took as her new family would desert her.
How could they? It isn't fair... Why would they?
As her cheeks became stained with tears, Alexandra suddenly gasped. Pryo! How could she not have thought of him before!? He was her only friend, now. It would seem a bit bold... they were only 14, but then again, Cassandra was staying there as well... Would his parents consent to it? But where else could she go? She stood and called for a change in direction...

" Damn, Stupid, Ignorant House Elves!" Cass said in a very whiny tone as she picked up her favorite black robe from the floor. She then screamed out the door to her passing cousin, " I thought these wretched things were supposed to clean up after you, not create more of a mess." Aggravated, she picked up a lone skirt from the floor and marched down the hall. Muttering under her breath, she made her way to the laundry shoot to drop the spare articles of clothing down to the laundry. Cassandra went back to her room and shut the door behind her. Trying to control her already blazing temper, she grabbed her remote and pointed it to her wireless. The sounds of an old muggle band known as Creedance Clearwater Revival filtered through the speakers. She looked around her now spotless room. There wasn't a speck of dust to be found. When she had returned from Hogwarts, she come to find that the House Elves had not even opened her bedroom door while she had been gone. Combing through her belongings, she had found an inch thick of dust everywhere. Perturbed, she stormed down to the kitchen and commanded two of the elves to clean her room immediately. The two elves worked for hours cleaning her room to her exact specifications. That was one thing Cass could not stand. A dirty room. So, you could see why she had become angry when the laundry elf had come to retrieve her dirty clothes from her school trunk to only drop them behind her.
Cass plopped down on top of the over-sized mattress that was covered with a maroon and gold bedspread. Yep, this was the life. As much as she hated to admit it, she was slowly becoming a spoiled little brat at Blackfire Manor. From her nice clothes hanging in the closet to her Firebolt sitting in the corner, poor Cassandra Logton finally had everything she could ever wish. Unfortunately, everyone in her immediate family had to die to get all of it. Still, her possessions could never replace the love of her mother and father. She turned over on her side to face her nightstand where she kept the only picture she had of parents and brother. There they were; smiling in the unmoving frame. A few other photos littered the table top, including one of her father handing a smiling Cassandra a stuffed dragon. She remembered that day, and the now dilapidated dragon lay on her bed beside her.
Cass chocked back a sob. She missed her family. She had guessed that she was lucky that Uncle Charles had taken her in after her mother's murder. She had no home. No place to go. What else could she of done?
Ding Dong! The deep chimes signaling a visitor rang throughout the Mansion. Rushing to her window that looked down upon the front steps, she saw a solitary figure with a suitcase standing at the door. Unable to discern a face, her curiosity got the better of her. Cass raced out of her room, down the stairs, and into the marble foyer. There wasn't a single house elf present. " I guess I will have to get the door myself." she called out to the empty room.
Cass pulled on the brass door handle. The open door revealed none other than Alexandra Ricci. Disappointed, she had hoped that it was Liam. " Oh, hello. I guess you are here to see Pyro." She stepped out of the way of the girl so she could enter. Taken aback by her appearance, she directed her to put down her suitcase. " Come this way to the sitting room. I will call down my cousin."
(( I hope you don't mind that I took some liberties to get this post started. If you want me to change it, I will.))

Pyro arched his eyebrow curiously as he heard his cousin holler from her room. He looked at Miaka who was sitting on his shoulder. "Wonder whats tickling her nose?" Miaka chirped in response. Pyro paused by the door and looked in and immediately understood. The house elves were never to keen about taking orders from Cass, and they only seemed to do it grudgingly. Pyro grinned and shook his head and walked on. He heard Cass yell after him and he laughed. Pyro had to wonder though, why were the elves acting that way toward her? No doubt something to do with his father. He still hadn't figured out what had possessed Charles to allow her to live here. Pyro reached his room and threw open the door. Miaka immediately left his shoulder and flew over to sit on her perch. Pyro moved over to his desk and sat down. Placing his feet on his desk he pushed back and balanced on the back legs of the chair and looked up at the ceiling.
His thoughts drifted to many things. First his dreams came to mind. They had continued the same pattern as they had during school. They were getting worse. One night he had been woken by a house elves, he had been thrashing and calling out in his sleep and had nearly awoken the entire house. After that he had made a point to soundproof his room, no sense in letting the entire house know. His thoughts continued to drift back to the issue with his cousin. Her guardians had mysteriously died in a fire. Only one witness had been at the scene, a man Pyro knew very well. The man had been one of fathers associates. It seemed a bit to fishy to be a coincidence. Pyro couldn't understand though, if his father had killed them, why not wait and take out Cass too? And why let Cass move into the house? It all didn't add up.
Just than Pyro heard the door, faintly he could hear Cass yell that she got it. Pyro smirked but than frowned. Recently the only visitor to the Manor was Liam. Pyro's lips curled into a scowl as the boy entered his thoughts. Pyro craned his hearing and listened to Cass's voice. Odd, it sure didn't sound like she was talking with Liam. Normally she would be more animated when talking with him. Curiosity got the better of him and he kicked off the desk and flipped back wards onto his feet, catching the falling chair on his toes. He flipped the chair back up and left the room and descended the stairs down to the entrance.
Pyro was in sight just as Cass was about to lead who ever it was into the waiting room. "Who is it Cass?" Pyro looked down and nearly stumbled when he looked upon Alex. His face changed from one of confusion to one of concern when he noticed Alex's face. "Whats wrong?" He immediately asked and lept over the railing to fall the last ten feet and land in front of them. He immediately went to Alex and grabbed her shoulder gently and looked her in the eyes. "What happened?" He asked. He knew that something was wrong with her.

The Knight Bus skidded to a stop as Alexandra requested the change. The man, who seemed to run things on the Knight Bus, looked a bit angry and complained a bit. Alexandra didn't complain or sneer. She just needed to get somewhere. In the end, she had to pay an extra Sickle or two, but it didn't matter as she returned to her seat. Her heart thumped harder and harder as the Knight Bus thundered through London. Vampire looked up at her with wide, comforting eyes, and gave a little hoot. Alexandra couldn't help but smile ever so lightly. She took a quick, deep breath and tried to calm her racing heart. She was nervous. What would they do? She was just showing up, unexpectedly. She shook her head, Pyro will help her. He had to. It was her last hope.
The Knight Bus had reached it's destination, the chairs moving forward a bit and jerking back wards again as the bus stopped suddenly. Alexandra's heart, which had just finally calmed a bit, jump started and began to race even harder than before. She stood, quickly, grabbed her suitcase and Vampire's cage, and excited the Bus. A loud Boom echoed loudly and the Bus disappeared once again. Alexandra's breathing was short and quick as she slowly ascended the few stairs that led to the front door. She walked forward, breathing heavier with each step.
Setting Vampire's cage down, a bit too roughly and causing an uncomfortable 'hoot' from inside, Alexandra gulped and reached up, grasping the door bell. She shook her head slightly, wondering what she was doing. Ding Dong! Alexandra flinched at the sound. Vampire hooted again. Alexandra found herself grasping her cloak and twisting it nervously in her fingers. She couldn't breath she was so nervous. A disdained yell from inside announced someone was getting the door. Alexandra held her breath and then mentally scowled as the door opened.
There she stood. Cassandra Blackfire, looking surprised and disappointed. In any other occasion, the disappointment would have annoyed her, but she was bit preoccupied. Alexandra froze. What would she say? Words failed her as she stood there. That's when Cassandra spoke for her. Alexandra relaxed. She nodded at Cassandra's assumption that she was there to see Pyro and followed her into the foyer, grasping her suitcase and Vampire's cage.
She remained silent as Cassandra mentioned she was going to get Pyro for her. She nodded again, more nervous now that she was actually in his house. She gulped. Cassandra barely began to turn to get Pyro, when his voice called from the top of the stairs. Alexandra's head snapped upward at the sound of his voice. She was so happy to see him that she nearly broke into tears right at that moment. Pyro noticed something was wrong immediately and took no time jumping from the banister and instantly grasping her shoulder and looking at her with concern. He asked what happened... How would she respond? She stared up at him, her eyes brimming with tears, and soon she couldn't take it anymore.
Her body crumbled and her eyes flooded with tears. She couldn't speak, only cry.

Pyro's hands remained firmly but gently on Alex's shoulders as he looked down at her face. He had never been terribly tall, but Alex was a few inches shorter than him. Something was terribly wrong, it was plain and obvious on her face. Pyro knew Alex and her history of being an outcast and a loner. She had been hardened and hardly ever showed any emotion. Ever since Pyro and Alex had gotten together only two emotion's shone clearly on her face. Extreme happiness, and extreme sadness. Even Pyro could clearly distinguish between these two feelings, and Alex's face clearly showed that something was bother her deeply. She seemed to attempt to speak but couldn't find any words. Her face twisted and contorted as she fought back the inevitable, and than it happened. The shoulders in Pyro's hands became weak and than fell from his grasp as her body crumpled. Years of martial arts reflexes saved Alex from a painful fall to the floor as Pyro quickly dropped to his knees and caught Alex.
Pyro held her trembling body close to him. He could already feel his shoulder grow hot and wet as the tears gushed out of her body to soak into his shoulder. Pyro held her, he placed a hand on her head to help comfort her. What possibly could have happened to her? If anyone had hurt Pyro vowed to hunt them down and kill them. He suddenly remembered that Cass was with them in the foyer. Pyro slipped his arm under Alex's legs and easily lifted her up. He turned to Cass. "Do you mind getting some tea or something?" He asked her, worry in his eyes. He spotted Alex's luggage. "And could you get a house elf to put those in a spare room." With that Pyro turned and carried Alex into the living room.
He set her down on the couch. Leaving her he quickly started a fire and was quickly back to her side and holding her once more. Pyro didn't know how long it was but after some time he gently pushed Alex back to arms length and looked at her tear soaked face. "Alex, whats wrong? What happened?" He asked gently.

Cass raised an eyebrow as Pyro began to coddle Alex in his arms. Poor, sad, crying little Slytherin. Wonder what is wrong with her? Did she break a nail, or was daddy unable to buy her that pretty new silk dress down in the village, thought Cass to herself. She had never really liked Alex, and the feeling was mutual. After her mother had died, the girl had been exceptionally cruel to her. Not that she expected anything different from her, but it had been a particularly tough time for her. Even though Slytherin's and Gryffindor's were natural enemies, they normally respected each other's grief. Cass yawned. This was getting boring. She turned to go up the stairs. " Do you mind getting some tea or something?" Cringing at Pyro's words, she bit her tongue as an angry retort began to seep its way out. What do I look like? A house elf?!
Without a word, Cass turned around and headed towards the kitchen. She hid her anger well until she got into the adjacent room. As the kitchen door swung behind her, she pointed out into the foyer. Getting the message, a house elf walked over to the girl and stared up at her with its wide eyes. " Would you take our new arrival's bags and put them up?" The house elf continued to stare. Cass groaned. " Please." Bowing low, he scurried out of the kitchen. Emotions boiling the tea kettle over the fire, Cass retrieved a silver tray. Talking to herself aloud, she clanked the little silver dishes loudly. " Why should I feel sorry for her? She didn't have any sympathy for me when I was going through my...ordeal." Cass gulped back her anger for a moment. Running out of steam, she sat down on a bench near the fire. " Cass, what's wrong with you? You are acting like a spoiled little brat." Sucking down her pride, she finished making the tea in relative peace.
Shortly thereafter, Cass was butting open the door to the foyer where Alex and Pyro where now sitting one on the couches that faced each other. Walking over silently, she placed the silver tray on the coffee table in the middle. Pouring them each a cuppa, she began to squeeze a lemon in her Earl Gray. " I didn't bring any milk. You don't normally put milk in Earl Gray. We didn't have much of a selection." Truthfully, the Blackfire's kept every type of tea known to man for company. Cass just didn't know how to brew anything else properly. Her household education had stopped when her mother had died. " So, are you going to continue to keep us in suspense or are you going to tell us what happened?"

As the tears flooded from her eyes, Alexandra couldn't help but let it all loose. Her hidden emotions and built up sadness were overflowing and now all she could do was cry. Thank God Pyro caught her as her legs gave way from under her. She wanted to thank him, but the words couldn't come out, only sobs. She wrapped her arms around Pyro's neck as he held her close. She could feel his shirt getting soaked from her tears as she cried into his shoulder. He then picked her up and carried her somewhere, but where she did not know. She could hear Pyro ask Cassandra to make tea very clearly, but her trembling body and sobbing didn't cease.
Suddenly, Alexandra felt herself being lowered onto a couch and was aware that Pyro left her for a brief second. At this point her convulsions were slowing, but her sadness was still too great to let her stop crying. Pyro was soon back at her side and holding her once again. She let her head lay on his shoulder and waited for her crying to stop. Though it showed no sign of stopping anytime soon.
It felt like forever to Alexandra as she sat there in Pyro's arms. How long she cried, she did not know, but she was grateful for the boy who held her so close. Finally, her crying stopped and she remained in Pyro's arms, breathing softly into his shoulder. He gently pushed her up into a sitting position on the couch and asked her what happened. Before she answered, Alexandra wiped the tears from her face, sniffing loudly. She was about to speak when Cass entered, placing a silver tray on the coffee table and pouring them each a cup of tea. She then proceeded to squeeze a lemon in one of them. " I didn't bring any milk. You don't normally put milk in Earl Gray. We didn't have much of a selection." Alexandra nodded, wondering why Cassandra was acting so normal. Then Cassandra asked the inevitable. Alexandra took a deep breath and took a cup of tea.
What would she say? She bit her lip and looked down into the swirling liquid inside the china tea cup she held in her hands. The words necessary to explain what happened seemed to escape her. She didn't know how to say it.
"Um." She began, as she usually did when she was at a loss for words. "I... well... Aubree..." She closed her eyes and tried to calm her thoughts.
"Aubree and her family decided to move... to Germany." She absently stirred the tea with a spoon. "They told me I had to stay here, because of Hogwarts and that they couldn't let me live there anymore." She felt soft tears press her eyes once more and she looked up at Pyro. "I just didn't have anywhere else to go..."

Pyro stared at Alex and hardly removed his eyes when Cass stepped back into the room. He perched one year as Cass spoke, interrupting Alex as she was about to start speaking. Pyro held back an annoyed sigh as Cass continued. How could she interrupt with something so casual and useless? Pyro snapped an angry glare at Cass as she carelessly told Alex to end the suspense already, but before he could reply Alex began to speak. He quickly brought his attention back to her, absorbing every word and attuning it to memory. He paid special attention to any names that were mention and any acts that were committed. Willing to hunt down anyone and everyone who had hurt her.
When she finished her story Pyro sat quietly by for a moment. He remembered her telling him about Aubree. She apparently was living with them now after she had run away from home. She had been happy living with them, finally having a home. Now it seemed this Aubree was just ditching her. What kind of a family could just do that to someone? Kick them out on the curb? Pyro didn't have to search far, he was in the house of one such family. His father had kicked his own son out of the family. Yet his father had been acting weird lately. Pyro looked to Cass. Not only had his father allowed Pyro to come back, but he had offered Cass, a distant cousin from a disowned uncle, to live in the house after her care-takers died. It was all looking a bit fishy to Pyro.
Pyro turned and quickly yelled down the hall. "Hunter!" He didn't have to wait long for a house elf to apperate by his side. "Fetch my father." The house elf bowed and quickly dissapperated. Pyro grinned, he heard that Cass still hadn't gotten the full cooperation of the house elf. It was always amusing to watch. He turned back to Alex. He knew what he was about to say was a long shot. They had only been dating for a few months now. "Don't worry about it anymore. We have lots of spare rooms here. You can stay here." He winked at her and than hugged her close. "It'll be alright."

Alexandra remained quiet after her little story and looked down at her tea, still undrunk. She didn't really want to drink any of it, just stare at the swirling liquid. She heard Pyro's silence as if he were speaking. It was so thick, the silence, was. She was almost drowning in it. As if rescuing her from a drowning lake, Pyro spoke, pulling her from that horrible silence. She looked up at him as he called for his father. She felt confused. Why would he need his father? Then he said it. She could stay? Her heart beat seemed to falter and her eyes filled with happy, grateful tears.
"but..." She tried to ask if he was sure, but his wink made her stop. She smiled, feeling happy again and falling into his embrace. She let her arms wrap around his neck and hugged him back, thankful for such a wonderful boyfriend. She even believed him when he said it would be all right.

Charles sighed as he twirled his cane in between his finger. The single light of the room caught the jeweled handle of the cane as it made its turn and threw a multitude of lights across the rooms walls. Many things had begun to turn for the worse and Charles felt that he was about to be caught within the web. The most pressing issue would be the stray. He had almost gotten away clean, the ministry was off his back about the incident at the girls house. He was almost freed of the burden, he had just to get rid of the girl. But fate would have it another way. It would seem he couldn't get rid of her that easily. He would have to wait it out, wait for her to become of age and move out of her own accord. The next issue would be his troublesome dog. Charles had hopped that Pyro would have forgotten about his plans for revenge. Yet the boy still continued his search. Charles new this because he kept a close eye on the boys activities in this matter. This could only turn out bad for Charles. If Pyro got in to deep, made the wrong people mad. It would all come crashing down on Charles. Charles used to be a Death Eater, he knew exactly what could happen.
So immersed in his thoughts was he that the sudden crack! that filled the room made his heart skip many beats. Charles took in a deep breath to steady himself and hardened his grip on his cane. "Master. Young Master Pyro wishes your presence in the main living room." Charles turned to look at the bowing house elf. "Very well." He answered and once more the crack filled the room as the elf disapperated. With an almost bored sigh Charles left his private study and began a leisurely pace to the living room. It took Charles a few minutes but soon he was standing in the doorway of the living room. Charles frowned as he notice he and Pyro weren't alone. The stray was also there, as well as a new girl he had never met, but knew a lot about.
"Ricci." Charles spoke under his breath referring to the girl sitting on the couch. Quite a well known family, not even the troubling young daughter could escape notice. Having run away from home and shaming her family. Charles knew of this ones reputation. Just what was she doing in his house? Charles turned to Pyro and nearly staggered back. The look on the boys face. Something Charles had never seen before, and he had seen Pyro in the fit of rage, but this, this was new. "Pyro, I believe you have summoned me here? Speak, what do you want?"
Pyro stood from the couch and faced Charles directly. "Father, this is Alexandra Ricci, a fellow 4th year at Hogwarts." He was quite for a second, Pyro had never told his father about Alex. Now it seemed, it was the time. "My girlfriend." Now Charles did stagger back. His mouth opened but he couldn't seem to find any words, but before he could Pyro spoke up once more. "I just wanted to inform you that she will be staying with us from now. In our full care." Pyro's body tensed as he was getting ready for the upcoming fight.
Charle's nostrils flared. The nerve of the boy! This was his house still, and all the decision regarding it were up to him. "I'm sorry, I did not realize that you were the new master of the house?" Charles looked at Alex sitting upon the couch looking miserable, than turned back to his son. He stared long and hard at Pyro and saw no give on his face. This would be a long and bloody battle, and Charles saw no way of winning. "Fine, she can stay." His voice grew dangerously low. "But I charge you with her care. And take this bit of advice. Be careful about what strays you decide to pick up off the streets." Pyro's eyes narrowed. "You lecture me about picking up strays when you pick up strays of your own!?" He yelled, clearing meaning Cassandra. "Especially ones you hold no love for?"
Charles had never before had such an angry outburst. Before he could think he swing his cane at Pyro's face. Pyro proved the faster and caught the attack a few inches from his cheek and easily held it at bay. The two stood like that for what seemed a long, long time. Finally Charles ripped his cane free. "I wouldn't stick my nose into others busy. Stick to yours, or your's might be liable to get chopped off, or worse." Without another word he spun and left the room. Pyro stood staring at the empty door way for a while. He glanced down at his palm, there was a fine red mark showing where the cane had hit him. His father had never struck out at him with such anger. Pyro had struck a serious nerve, a nerve that Pyro would further explore later. He turned and looked at Alex and winked once more. "See, I told you it would be ok."
((I puppet mastered Pyro could I didnt' want to run the page up with posts and I didn't feel like logging in and out, etc.))

Alexandra was still smiling as she hugged Pyro close. She loved the way her head fell onto his shoulder almost perfectly. She sighed, happy, until the sound of footsteps made her look up and, regretfully, let go of their embrace. Charles Blackfire was very intimidating, Alexandra noted, he was tall and very ominous looking, almost. He immediately reminded her of Lucius Malfoy and had a sudden suspicion that the two must have known each other in some way. She shook off the strange thoughts and was startled to hear him say her last name. She revolted inside. That name... that horrible name that haunted her for years. The way he said it made her feel less than nothing. As if he knew how she felt about her wonderful family. They were one of the most respected Russian Wizard Families and she had shamed them... No wonder Charles Blackfire looked down on her like so.
Charles' eyes moved from Alexandra's face to his son's and looked startled, shocked even. Alexandra then looked at her boyfriend's face and was shocked as well. He was angry, almost flaming. The look in Pyro's eyes was dangerous, threatening and she kind of liked it. That look was for the Montagues' and what they did to her. She smiled a bit, knowing he wanted to protect her. Charles then proceeded, with dignity I might add, to inquire Pyro as to what he wanted. It was then that things started to get... exciting.
Pyro stood, instantly, and regarded his father. He, sort of, introduced Alexandra. When he called her his girlfriend, Alexandra's heart seemed to soar. She took in a quick breath and smiled, almost subconsciously. Pyro's father looked, if nothing else, aghast. His eyes widened and his mouth dropped open. It seemed for a moment he couldn't even speak. At that moment, Alexandra felt rather offended. What was so shocking? That Pyro had a girlfriend? Or that he was with her? Pyro seemed to take no notice of his father's shock and kept talking. Alexandra was shocked when Pyro just flat out told Charles that she would be staying. All she could think was: Uhhhh.... wow...
Charles, who had gotten over his shock, glared and soon an argument was underway. It was fierce, but short. When Charles went to hit Pyro with his cane, Alexandra gasped, her hand reaching out subconsciously to help, but remained in her seat. She was relieved when Pyro grabbed the stick with, seemingly, no reaction or care. He simply caught the cane with one quick, cat-like motion. Charles was still very angry and soon departed. Pyro, his hand red with a welt the cane left, turned and winked at Alexandra again, saying "I told ya so"
Alexandra shook her head, in awe that he would go through so much just for her. She gulped and stood, her eyes wide and loving. She smiled and ran into his arms, thanking him over and over.
"Oh Pyro! Thank you!"

Cass watched the the two lovebirds embrace after Charles proclamation. Scoffing, she walked across the room to the double doors that served as the entrance. " Um, if you two wouldn't mind, but we should get her settle if she going to be staying with us. I really don't want to watch the dramatics between the two of you if I don't have to." Turning around, she walked out of the sitting room into the marble foyer seething. Cass could not believe this! Charles was just going to let this wayward Slytherin move into the manor. Hell, she wasn't even a Blackfire! Worst still, Cass wasn't even sure if she was a pureblood, and she was certainly too whiny to be a true Slytherin. Mimicking Alexandra, " Cass twirled her hair around her finger and tapped her foot indigently. In a mock voice, she imitated Alex's high pitched voice. " Oh, Thank you, Pyro." Looking down to the marble floor, she still saw Alex's bags sitting there.
Now furious that the House Elves hadn't listened to her again, she walked back into the sitting room. Cass watched for a moment as Pyro tenderly ministered to Alex. " Um, please, you two. Could you please not do that while people are watching? You might make them sick at their stomach." Cass gave an evil smiled.
