Tonight was the perfect night. Cass was off with Liam somewhere. Lust and Alex had gone shopping for the night and wouldn’t’ return for many hours and Charles was off on some important meeting with the ministry and wouldn’t be back for a couple of days. The house was completely empty save for the house elfs. They wouldn’t be much of a problem. Pyro had them prepare some food and drink and as soon as that was finished Pyro had told them to remain in the basement until further orders. Unlike Cass and Alex the elfs followed Pyro’s orders flawlessly and without disobey. It seemed like all the preparations were complete. The house was empty and devoid of any unwanted ears.
Pyro stepped out of his room and made his way down into the main living room. The table of food and drink had been set up neatly in the corner. No lights were on in the entire house save for a few candles in the living room. He had also lit the fireplace incase Cole or Fiona decided to travel here via Floo Powder, which seemed the most probable. Pyro checked his watch. They should be arriving any minute now. Pyro had some important things to discuss with them. Mostly concerning his cousin, who seemed to be becoming a larger and larger thorn in his side by the day. She was after the book that was currently in Cole’s possession. Pyro remembered when the Chosen had blackmailed Caiest Raven into giving up the book. Cass had somehow gotten Caiest to give it to her instead. Pyro had managed to take it from Cass and gave it to the chosen. Now cass wanted it back for some reason. Pyro had to warn the rest of the Chosen and keep them on their guard. Grabbing himself something to drink he sat down on the couch facing the fireplace and awaited the arrival of his guests.

Fiona pulled on her long black jacket over her dark clothing. She ran her hand under her hair and moved it out over the top of her collar. The strawberry blond hair was wavy and shiny. She had taken great care of it that day, for early she had been out with Kennedy. She was usually out with Kennedy. Ever since the beginning of the summer she hardly spent a day away from him. It helped her to feel close to him. She truly cared for him. Of course the feeling was returned. Kennedy knew everything about her, save for one thing. Fiona had not told him that she was apart of the Chosen and she wouldn’t ever. She knew how important the society was and she would never feel comfortable telling him about it. It was not right of her to endanger the lives of the others involved. She knew Kennedy would not do anything about it, but it was more of a concern with anyone overhearing it. She shook her hair out of her face and ran her fingers through it. This meeting was important and she knew it. The Chosen hadn’t met together since her induction, meaning that nothing of true importance had come up until now. It had been Pyro who had initiated the letter as well, meaning that something was happening with him. She couldn’t help but remember their last conversation. They had both been having nightmares. Fiona’s of course had to do with her parent’s death and the dungeon. She remembered that his had to do with the attacks on the school two years ago. They had harmed him pretty bad back then. It had also been the reason for Fiona’s home life turning bad. She wondered if this meeting had to do with Pyro’s dreams. If not then she wondered what possibly could be the matter.
Fiona picked up her wand and placed it in the long pocket on the inside of the right jacket pocket. It would be the most ideal place for her to pull it out since she was left-handed. She patted the wand in her pocket. It meant so much more to her now. Not only had it been a gift from her father, but also after it had been broken, Kennedy had remade it for her. He had helped her so much and she couldn’t help thinking about him all the time. She knew he was meant to be in her life and she knew that she was meant to be in his. She only hoped that he would be beside her no matter what happened or who would try to get between them. Fiona’s attention returned back to the task at hand. She would be taking the Floo network over to the Blackfire Manor. The only thing that was gnawing at her was whether or not Pyro had managed to get rid of his cousin from the house. His cousin was the one person Fiona could not stand. She had been a thorn in her side since the beginning. Not to mention she lost Fiona house points when she wouldn’t duel back in Hogsmeade at the beginning of last year. Besides that Cassandra always seemed to get in her way somehow. It was as if the girl was born to annoy her. Fiona bit her lip in an attempt to get her emotions under control. She didn’t need to get her blood boiling over the annoying girl. Someday Fiona would find a way to get the girl out of her life.
Fiona rubbed her arm in annoyance and then laughed to herself. She was getting herself worked up over nothing. There was no way Pyro would let that girl stay in the house during their meeting. From what Fiona knew Cassandra had been the one that had crossed the Chosen before and Pyro had made sure she had paid for it, at least that was according to the knowledge Fiona had gained from the situation. She shrugged to herself and shook her head, a small smile still splayed on her face. It was time for her to go now. She walked down the long stairwell of her castle. From there she made her way to the large fireplace built into the wall of the large living room. She grabbed a handful of black Floo powder and threw it into the fire. The green flames exploded and licked at the brick walls of the fireplace. She stepped into the fire and called out clearly the destination, “Blackfire manor.” Fiona felt the familiar drop and swirling through the fireplaces around the network before her feet landed on ground once again. She stepped out of the fire and dusted herself off from the ash that clung to her clothes and her exposed skin. She looked around the unfamiliar room and her eyes stopped on Pyro. She smiled slightly at him and nodded her head. “Pyro, nice to see you again. I must say your letter had me quite confused, but also intrigued,” Fiona said as she walked to a chair and took a seat, crossing one leg over the other. There she waited for the last member to show up as well as for Pyro’s response.
