“So bored…so bored…so bored.” Danny repeated to himself in the afternoon till his mother told him to shut up which had William laughing. Danny had had nothing to do, he was actually starting to miss Herbology which he normally hated so much and he only missed it because he was on the same group as he’s friends. Then Danny started up again saying he was bored till his mother forced him to go outside and find something better to do. Danny didn’t mind much he wanted to get out of the house and maybe walk around a bit. Danny walked down the street that lead to the leaky cauldron and just walked past it. He had been to Diagon alley to much lately, anyway he didn’t have any money on him so he thought what’s the point of going.
Danny kept walking for about five more minutes till he came to what looked like a muggle play ground. Danny looked at it from a crossed the street a little confused. He had never seen it there before so it must have been put up sometime during the school year. He didn’t have anything better to do so he decided to cross the street and climb, swing or whatever else was there. The place had a few people running around but the swings were empty so Danny just grabbed one of the seats and started swinging then moved on to whatever else was empty or close to it at the time.
Danny moved on to the monkey bars and started to hang on them up side down and he was having a great time till he started to slip and then fell off landing on his back. “Yea that wasn’t very much fun…” He said getting back up slowly. Another person was on the swings now and was looking over probably because they had seen him hit the ground and wanted to watch or just laugh at how clumsy Danny had been, Danny just smiled. “I’m fine.” He said out loud to the few people looking at him. “I Luckily I don’t need another trip to see Madam Pomfrey.” He said completely forgetting he wasn't in Hogwarts till the words came out of his mouth. “Good thing I didn’t say anything to important.” He thought to himself laughing a little.

Marcy tucked her now brown hair behind her ear, her eyes watching the streets and everything around her. There was a slight breeze so her fringe, which was a bit shorter than her actual hair, flitted by her eyes and crossed her vision for a moment. She had been sitting outside practically all morning and now drifting into the afternoon. Sometimes, sitting outside was all you needed. But she wasn't just sitting outside. She was watching the home. She figured they couldn't recognize her, with her hair and her outfits. Marcy just didn't look like she used to. She sat on a bench across from the home, hoping to catch site of a few of her friends. Just when she was about to stand and leave, a little boy came out of the home - a ball in his arms. A tall red headed girl followed him and sat down in the grass as he began to bounce it. He stood there bouncing it for a bit, before he looked up and locked eyes with Marcy. His ball dropped from his hands, causing Kara to look up. "What is it Georgey?" Marcy heard.
Georgey-Porgey didn't bend down to pick up the ball, but Kara did and then she stood next to him, her eyes searching for what he was staring at. And when she saw it, her eyes widened and she squealed. Her hand quickly went to her mouth, and she looked around to make sure no one had heard. Then she grasped Georgey's hand and made her way across the street to where Marcy sat. They hadn't seen each other in years, and the fact that Kara and Georgey-Porgey had recognized her, made her heart grow and she felt so happy. She sat there, and then they both were directly in front of her she smiled and tilted her head at them, shoving her aviator sunglasses on top of her head; "Do you two ever change?" They just watched her, as if they didn't believe she was really there. And then Georgey-Porgey reached up and touched her face, slowly. Then he began molding it and then he stopped. He threw his arms around her and Marcy hugged him back. Tears flowed down her cheeks, "Let's get out of here." She told them - her eyes locking with Kara's electric blue ones.
Kara nodded and ran back to the home to tell someone they were going to the park, which was where they ended up going. It was a relatively new park, one Marcy didn't remember being there while she was in the home as well, so when Kara started walking in a different direction than the old park - Marcy was confused. Her hand grasped Georgey's as they walked along; chatting it up. They had so much to catch up on, and it was just recently that Marcy had the courage to watch the home and on her first watching she was reunited with her two best friends in the whole wide world. When they made it to the park, they were just in time to see someone fall off the monkey bars. Marcy thought she recognized him from school, and she was proven right when he said something about Madame Pomfrey. Laughter escaped her lips and she said loud enough for the boy to hear, "Yeah, her medicines make you worse instead of better. But hey, she's the best there is." Kara and Georgey looked at her oddly but she just smiled at them.

Danny started to brush off the dirt from his back and then started to feel a little embarrassed at how clumsy he had been. Knowing his mom if he had been hurt then she would start to worry about anything that could hurt him. She could be so over protective at times and it was really annoying to Danny. He was just glad there wasn’t anyone he knew here to see that and he also was glad that there wasn’t anyone from Hogwarts here ether but he highly doubted that anyone from Hogwarts would be in a muggle play ground. Danny then heard a voice from someone who seemed to have just gotten to the park agreeing with him about Madam Pomfrey and Danny just laughed, not realizing yet that for someone to have known about her that would have to have gone to Hogwarts.
“Her medicine does work but her bedside manner needs lot of improving.” He said back to the girl as he laughed then stopped finally realizing that the girl had to have gone to Hogwarts. Danny started to feel even more embarrassed as his hopes of not getting seen falling by anyone from Hogwarts were destroyed. Danny just kept smiling and decided to walk over to see who it was. As he got closer to her Danny could remember seeing her a few times at Hogwarts but he had never met her before. “Hi I’m Danny.” He said smiling looking at the girl then at other kids that she seemed to have with her. They both seemed to be looking a little confused so he guessed they didn’t know anything about Hogwarts, so Danny kept quite about that.

Marcy's grin grew, "I went in there one time because of a hurt shoulder and she shoved me into the bed so hard - she dislocated it. Although, she healed it immediately - it still is rather amusing isn't it?" She brought her free hand to a strand of hair that was blowing in her face, tucking it behind her ear. She could feel Georgey looking at Kara with his big eyes of confusion on his face. But she didn't do anything to clear up their confusion, instead she smiled widely at the boy who had by now introduced himself as Danny. Instantly a lightbulb went off in her head, "Danny McKay! You're two years above me, but we're in the same...er..." She looked to Kara, whose eyebrows were raised high to the sky, "classification?" She hoped he caught on, considering trying to explain houses to Kara and Georgey would be a bit hard.
"Oh, right," Marcy held out her hand for Danny to shake and grinned, "I'm Marcy Fairfield. These are my friends Kara and George Michael, but everyone calls him Georgey-Porgy or just Georgey." Marcy brought her hand up to Georgey's hair and ruffled it up a bit. Georgey smiled and immediately reached up to fix his hair. Kara sent Danny a calm smile, but her eyes remained on Marcy - waiting for an explanation.

Danny just started laughing after hearing the next comment about Madam Pomfrey and he couldn’t hold back the next thought he had. “Yea she is crazy but her medicine does work great it’s like she’s some kind of witch or something.” He said laughing pretty sure now that the kids she had with her had no idea about Hogwarts, which made it so much funnier. He looked at the kids and they definitely looked confused now and they had a right to be confused, Danny sure would have been by now. Danny laughed again as she seemed to start to remember who he was and how she didn’t say house in front of the two other kids. “Yes classification is a good word for it.” He said laughing
Danny then shook her hand when she held it out. “Nice to meet you.” He said smiling letting her hand go has she started to introduce the boy and girl she had next to her. “All three of you.” He added smiling looking at George then Kara then back to Marcy. “It’s nice to see someone from school, just don’t tell people you saw me fall off and land on my back when we have to go back there.” He said laughing not being serious but just trying to make a joke. “They might not let me get back on a br… Play ground again.” Danny said laughing, he had come way to close to saying broom but luckily he caught himself before he said the whole word. “I really have to work on when I talk to or in front of muggles.” Danny thought to himself not sure how someone could work on that. "So how has your summer been so far?" He asked Marcy Smiling.

"Or something." Marcy said cryptically, with a mischievous smile on her face. She was finding this rather fun. Of course, it was completely cruel to Kara and Georgey, but she would have to keep the wizarding world a secret from them for awhile longer. How much longer, Marcy wasn't so sure of, but she knew today she wasn't going to be able to tell them. Today was the first time she had seen them in years and years, how was she supposed to spring them with the knowledge that she was a witch and there was a whole different world out there? She couldn't. And it wasn't like they would believe her anyway. At least, not Kara. And Georgey probably would believe it was all a game anyway. Like the ones they used to play before Marcy ran away.
Marcy returned to the present as Danny asked her not to tell anyone at Hogwarts about his fall, she smiled at him and shook her head; "Your secret is safe with me. Besides, who would listen to what I have to say anyway? I don't have anything nearly as important to say as some other people do." There was a bit of a bitter resentment in those words, but they weren't directed to anyone around her. Just the school in general. If you weren't in a certain house, or a certain year - you weren't acknowledged. Marcy grinned at his near slip up, and tucked some more hair behind her ear; "You aren't on the football team, are you? I mean, surely I would have known you a bit better considering I follow football rather closely." Kara's eyes narrowed and she spoek up, "Since when? You never liked football." Marcy shrugged instead of answering her and then turned back to Danny as he asked how her summer was, "Fine, lots of things going on. Yours?"

Danny just laughed as she replied to what he said about Madam Pomfrey by saying or something. Talking in code in front of other people was so much fun and Danny didn’t really understand why but he just kept laughing every time one of them said something in code. Danny didn’t like the next comment she said it just sounded like it had happened to her or something like that before. Or it was just Danny over thinking something again when it was really nothing. “Don’t say that I’m sure you have a lot of important things to say.” Danny said smiling. “Probably more then some of the professors.” He added laughing, which in the case of the history professor it was very true. “Football team?” It toke a second for Danny to finally realize what she was talking about.
“Idiot…” He thought to himself laughing. “Yea Football, sorry I went brain dead for a second.” He said laughing then continued. “No I’m not on the team I just like to play from time to time with some friends.” Danny said laughing. Danny then laughed again then Kara said that Marcy never liked football before and Danny laughed unable to stop himself from adding onto the lie. “O you should see her, she comes to the games all dressed in the team colors and everything she's really quite a sight to see.” He said laughing at how funny it seemed to say it to someone who didn‘t know what they were talking about. “Well my summer is pretty boring so far.” He said almost sighing at how boring it had been for the most part. “But my step dad said he might be able to get use tickets to the ahh… Big football game.” He said laughing Hoping that he would get the tickets it would be so great if he did.

Her grin grew at what he said about her having important things to say. Maybe he was right, but with how rarely she ever got to speak up about things - she really didn't know. She figured she had important things to say, but she never spoke up so it didn't matter. Marcy looked back at Kara and Georgey, Kara's eyes sent chills down her spine and she was sort of relieved, oddly enough, when Kara said they should probably get going. Marcy barely had time to say she would write them before they were running back to the home. A pang went to her heart, but she shrugged it off and sighed as she turned back to Danny, "So you might be able to get teams to the World Cup? That's amazing. I wish I could go, but money's tight as it is... and those tickets must be loads more than I could ever dream to have." She sent him a calm smile and then looked around, seeing all the benches were full - she sat down on the grass right where she was standing. Marcy was known to do suddenly random things.
((Sorry so short, my muse went out the window.))

Danny watched as the Kara said they should get going. Danny could tell by the look on her face she must have been angry at not knowing what was really going on. He wanted to say something but he didn’t really know what to say so he just watched her and the boy, George walk away. Then she started talking about how lucky he was that he might get tickets to see the world cup. Danny was really lucky but the tickets weren’t a sure thing. His step dad was friends with someone and he said he might be able to get them a few tickets but it was something for Danny to look forward too. Then she sat down on the grown and he followed her lead and sat down a crossed from her. “You sure you don’t want to go after them?” He asked her just to make sure that he wasn’t making her stay here.
“Well the tickets probably aren’t going to be the best ones even if we do get them and that’s a big if.” He said pulling out a blade of grass. He didn’t know why he did that it just seemed like his body did it on its own. “Anyway if we get an extra ticket you’ll be the first person I think of.” He said smiling. “Just because you want to see it so bad.” He added still smiling. Danny did mean it but was doubting if he would even get a ticket to it.

Marcy looked back in the direction Kara and Georgey had gone off to, a sigh escaping her lips. She turned her gaze back to Danny, and shrugged with a smile; "I haven't seen them for three years, and they aren't going anywhere anytime soon, one more day won't hurt. They weren't even supposed to see me today. I was just going to see if they were doing alright, and then Georgey caught sight of me - they probably think I'm the witchiest person alive now because I'm not spending more time with them. But...they obviously don't know about Hogwarts so it'll be awkward. Besides, Kara has a bit of an attitude on her - she was probably upset I was talking to you more than I was her. I know Gerogey doesn't care. He's Georgey..." Marcy smiled brightly at him before fiddling with a blade of grass as he started speaking again. It wasn't until he was finished that she looked back up at him.
"Bad or good tickets, they're still tickets. You'll still get to see it. To be there. To feel like you're a part of history. So when people talk about it you can actually say, 'Hey, I've been there!' Just the fact..." Marcy grinned as she propped her elbows on her knees and propped her chin in her hands. When he said if he had an extra ticket she would be the first person to come to mind, she lifted her eyes and her smile grew; "Really? Haha, if you did that you would be my new favourite person."

Danny listened to her talk about how she hadn’t seen them in 3 years. “Wow well at lest they remembered you.” He said smiling. “I’m pretty sure if I was gone for three years almost everyone would forget about me.” He said laughing knowing the few muggle friends he had in London normally did forget about him till he met up with them again. If it was three years they would most likely forget about him for good. Danny started spinning the blade of grass in between his fingers. Then he listened to her talk about the world cup and had to laugh not at her but at how she was so excited about it. “ Yea I guess your right any tickets would be good tickets.” He said laughing. Danny looked down at the blade of grass spinning it again. Then she smiled about his comment about if he had an extra tickets. “Sure I’d have to take you. Your way to excited about it to not go if I had an extra ticket.” He said laughing again then smiled. “So why did you come to the park anyway?” He said smiling at her waiting for her answer. (*Takes butterflynet back* Sorry I need to use it, I just lost mine now. )

Marcy shrugged, “I make quite the impression on people. I think I’m rarely ever forgotten. If you’ve seen me around school, out of uniform, I’m usually wearing something bright colourful or stand out-ish. People always seem to remember me, if not by what I do – but by what I wear.” She shrugged again, this time with a bright smile on her face. Marcy liked being remembered for who she was and what she wore, because what she wore – made her who she was. Marcy’s taste had calmed down some; it wasn’t so American 80s anymore, it was really more just laid back. She looked down at her current outfit, a pair of jeans, a white t-shirt with a British flag on it, black chuck tailors and a leather wristband. It had actually calmed down a lot.
When he asked why she came to the park, Marcy looked around; “Mainly because when I lived here it wasn’t here. So I figured it was something I needed to check out – and Georgey seemed to want to go to it anyway, I doubt he’s allowed to too often. Kara is the only one allowed to take him out, but I don’t think she takes him to the places he necessarily wants to go.”

Danny laughed as she talked about what she wore when she was out of uniform. Danny had seen what she wore sometimes and it was hard to forget with how bright it was sometimes. He looked down at what he wore for a second and laughing. Danny never did care about style as long at it’s comfortable it’s fine and as long as it doesn’t look that bad. “Well I’m not that big on style.” He said laughing. Then he listened as she answered his question about why she came to the park in the first place. Danny smiled because it was somewhat the same reason why he came here in the first place.
“I just got bored at home and left to walk around. Well more like my mom kicked me out for being for annoying.” He said laughing. “But that’s what I get for chanting I’m bored over and over again in front of her.” He added laughing not able to remember why he even started saying that now. “Then I found this place. I’m guessing it must have been put out sometime during the school year."
(Sorry its short... Butterfly net didn't help. Next one will be much better promise.)
