Rain pummeled Cathy's face as she hastened toward the nearest building. The down-pour had just started when Cathy unfortunately decided to be dropped off by her chauffeur. Her eyes squinted shut to avoid any water damage, Cathy ran with her arms over her head into a building she didn't recognize. The name she couldn't exactly catch as she made a bee-line toward it, but as she got in and the heavy music met he ears, Cathy realized it was a night club. Of course, it wasn't exactly night; it was three in the afternoon, to be precise, but night clubs always had music blaring and food on the ready. Cathy loved night-clubs since there you could just dance. Even without a partner, you wouldn't look ridiculous. Cathy stumbled over to where the bathrooms were, her sneakers sliding across the wet floor. Her hair was soaked and looked ratty. Disgusting, in other words. She quickly took a brush out of her purse, which was always quite handy, and ran it through all the knots and junk. Her hair was very important to her. It had to be silky soft to the touch, or else something was very, very wrong. Okay, so maybe Cathy was vain, a little. Or a lot. Maybe a lot. Cathy peeled off her winter jacket that was now soaked, and draped it across her arm until she found a safe place to put it. After her hair was free of tangles, Cathy went back out in the open.
When she stepped out, a woman suddenly appeared out of no where, causing Cathy to do some acrobats and jump out of the way. She looked to be drunk and was, as if for proof, holding a beer bottle in one hand. That was the bad place about night clubs. People didn't know when to stop drinking and when to keep on going. Cathy watched the woman try to open the bathroom door, but couldn't from the clumsiness beer bestowed upon people. With a sigh, Cathy opened it up for the poor woman, but was frustrated when she didn't even get a thank you. Next time you won't be so lucky. The music pumping through the building but adrenaline through Cathy's veins and she suddenly felt like there was energy to burn. With a look around, she spotted a coat rack in the far corner. After hanging her coat there and putting a small slip in it that signified that it belonged to Cathy Dumas, she took one gigantic look around. The bar was on the left side as you came into the building. It ran along the whole wall and only stopped when the bathrooms came into view at the left corner. The stereos were at the back wall and looked like they were actually moving; it was turned up so high. Cathy side-stepped two dancers to take a look at the dance floor. The dance floor made up the rest of the club, except for on the right wall was a row of chairs/couches for people to sit in and relax after dancing.
"Oops!" Cathy muttered as she turned and, in the process, knocked into someone's hand, spilling their drink to the floor. It was a man who looked about twenty-one and had flushed cheeks, which meant only one thing. Cathy stepped back from him warily. "I'm sorry," she apologized quickly and turned on her heel, escaping the man. If she had stayed longer, her might have kid-napped her or something! His flushed cheeks signaled that he was drunk like the woman before, only drunk men can get a little out-of-hand. The place was filled to the brim with people. People at the bar, people on the dance floor. There was only space among the comfortable arm-chairs that were put off to the side. That must be too boring for people, Cathy thought. Just the place for me. She sped over there, weaving her way through the crowd until she stopped in front of them. She sat down in a red arm-chair and leaned back, sighing with relief. Just then did she notice someone else sitting in the chair next to her, a girl who looked about her age. Cathy thought she looked familiar, but she shrugged that off. "Boy, do they play the music loud or what?" Cathy said, addressing the girl with a smile. "I might just go deaf in here, you know?"

Konnor woke early this morning, for her and some of her friends were going to slip into one of these little dance clubs. Konnor skipped merrily into her bathroom. She grabbed her tooth brush, and began brushing her teeth. Konnor heard a bang on the bathroom door, she opened it only to see her sister Kelley standing there in the doorway. "What do you want?" Konnor asked unenthuised. She stared at Kelley while brushing her teeth waiting for an answer. "What do you think?" Kelley said sarcastically. "Hmmm... Thinking, thinking, I don't know.." Konnor smiled and pushed the door shut. She hated when her sister did that. Kelley goes to Hogwarts as well. Her and Konnor are twins, but not identical. Kelley, and Konnor had never been close, they were just too different. Kelley was in Ravenclaw, she was smart, and all that good stuff. Konnor was a cutesy bouncy Huffle, and was well known, and had a lot going for her. Konnor, and Kelley just didn't mesh together well.
Konnor rinsed the tooth paste from her mouth. Konnor hopped in the shower. When she finished drying off she rushed back to her room. She didn't want Kelley to get a hold of her. Konnor laughed and ran in her bedroom door, shutting, and locking it quickly. "Whew!" Konnor thought to herself. She walked over toward her dresser, she wanted to find the perfect thing to wear to the club, she hadn't ever really been to a for real club before. Konnor didn't know much about the club they were going to either, in fact, she didn't even know the name, she was just excited to get out with her friends, and dance. One of her muggle friends was the one who arranged the whole club hopping thing. Konnor had lived by her, her whole life, and they were the same age, and everything. Konnor dug through her drawers, and got her two white socks, and a couple other things. She bounced on over to her closet, and got her fancy gold belt, it was very sequined, but the pretty sequined not tacky. Konnor then got her her cutest jeans. It her jeans were just right for dancing. They were stylish, had some holes in them on the knees so that she wouldn't get too hot. Konnor smiled she had the perfect outfit idea. She reached further toward the back of her closet, and grabbed her cutest brown top, with gold over throw. It was gorgeous, and went well with the stuff she had already picked. She set the clothing neatly on her bed.
She skipped on over to her vanity, and sat down on the chair, and looked in her jewelry box. She got out her beautiful golden hoop earrings. She smiled at them, she had gotten yesterday when she went shopping with Kady, who was also the girl taking her to the club. She walked back over to her bed and sat them there neatly placed by her outfit. Konnor then began to get herself prepared. She walked back to her vanity, and began to set her make up, and hair utensils on the little table. She ran back to her bed and put on her cute little outfit, and earrings. She smiled she looked exactly how she thought you should when going to a club for the right reasons, that is to have fun dancing. Now she just had to do the finishing touches. She sat on her vanity chair. She had it all loose and hanging freely, but she wanted to curl it for tonight, she hardly ever curled her hair anymore, and really felt like it tonight. She got her now hot curling iron, and got to work curling her blonde locks of hair.
"Perfect!" Konnor said very pleased with the way her hair was done. Konnor focused on what to do next. She got her make up, and began to decide what shades to go with. She decided since gold was her accessory color, that she would go with brown and golds. She applied some brown eye liner to her bottom eye-lid, then brown mascara, then to her top eye lid she applied brown, and gold mixed eye shadow. She grabbed her light pink lip gloss, and then she was done. She walked over to her closet, and got her gold flats, you never needed to wear heels when you were going dancing, unless your feet were immune to pain. They were very delicate, and pretty, but once again appropriate for the occasion. For the last thing Konnor had to do, she went and got her gold purse to go with her whole outfit.
She headed down the stairs of her house and into the living room, where she usually located her mom, or dad. "Where are the rents?" Konnor asked Kelley merrily. "I don't know.." Kelley replied in her meanest tone of voice. "Ok.." Konnor said rolling her eyes."What do you think?" She asked her sister Kelley eagerly. "You look ridiculous!" Her so called sister said in a hateful tone. "Whatever.." Konnor said rolling her eyes. "Ok, well I'm off then." Konnor said heading out the door, to the club. Konnor was excited, and yet nervous, she didn't know how things were set up there or anything. She arrived there a good bit of time later, and saw the building, it was ok on the outside, but a little shabby, but clubs, unless fancy ones, were usually like that. Konnor looked around before heading in, it looked like she had arrived just in time, there seemed to be some dark rain clouds in the sky. She didn't see Kady outside or anything so she just opened the door, and walked in. Konnor looked around. Almost automatically, the heat hit her. "What in the..." Konnor didn't continue. For she was caught up in the surroundings. She saw, what looked to be some overnighters in at the bar. Some passed out cold in the chairs. Konnor laughed, she hated to think about the hang overs coming their way.
She didn't see Kady anywhere. So she figured she would just go dance, and wait for her. There was a pretty big crowd on the dance floor, so she wouldn't be the only one dancing. She saw some people her age, that just seemed to be there having fun. She figured what the heck might as well just do the same. So she headed in and just started dancing. Hours went by, more old people passed out, and still no Kady. "Oh well.." Konnor thought to herself. She was still going to stay, and dance but she wanted to go sit, and rest for a minute. When your up on the dance floor having a great time, the body heat makes you almost to the point of dehydration. Konnor sat in a little chair, and fanned herself off with her hand. She stood up, and took of her over throw, and set it on a nearby coat rack. She sat back down, and saw as some light suddenly entered the room. Someone must have walked in the door. She watched, as a girl she knew from Hogwarts came in, and walked around. She looked very familiar, but the name wasn't coming to Konnor. She studied the girl closely. Then it came to her. Catherine Dumas, she had a twin sister also. Her twin was in Slytherin, and she was in Gryffindor. Which Konnor thought was odd, but she didn't care or anything, it just seemed strange for a Gryffie, and Slythie to be related, yet twins in that matter. She looked at the girl, her hair was wet. She must have gotten caught in the rain. Konnor just smiled, as she saw her sit down next her in the other seat. "You know they really do!" Konnor said almost having to shout to the girl. The music was actually really loud, and some what ear throbbing. "I think I about have!" Konnor said with a slight giggle.

Cathy nodded and grinned as the girl shouted. It was fun being in places like this, where you could only hear yourself and the music. Unless you wanted to talk to someone. Then it was time to get loud. "Me too." Cathy shook her head, pretending to be trying to hear better. This was fun, but it soon gave Cathy an extreme head-ache, and she stopped. The dance floor was so busy it was nearly over-crowded. Cathy imagined that many people would go home with bruised feet from being stepped on tonight. It's probably a smart thing she didn't dance at all. Cathy nodded her head to the music, tapping her feet with the beat, until she realized what she was doing, blushed, and stopped. "So... um..." Conversation seemed to have escaped Cathy suddenly, and she was at lost for words. The whole thing seemed absurd, but she was fighting through a mind blank. This made her cheeks turn pinkish again, and she turned away back to the dance floor. After a while, when she was sure her face was back to normal, Cathy turned back to her with a small smile. As she did so, something cracked in her brain. Introduce yourself! "Oh, my name's Catherine Dumas." said Catherine with an apologetic smile. She eyed the girl suddenly, as if realizing something for the first time. "Your name's... Kaitlyn, no, Konnor, right? I can't remember your last name.... sorry." Cathy again smiled, but this time with a warm air. "Do you come here often?" She asked, conversing now seemingly easier for her. "I do. I live just down the street and Giselle comes over here a lot too. That's how I first came here. Well, yeah. Giselle's my twin sister, so, yeah. And - she brought me here and I liked it a lot. Um.." She paused to give herself time to breath and smiled at Konnor, waiting to see what she had to say instead of taking up all the talking space. ((Sorry, kind of short. Couldn't think of anything. ))

Konnor smiled while trying to hear the Catherine. She looked around, the dance floor was steadily filling with more, and more people. "Whew its hot.." Konnor thought to herself. Konnor watched as she saw all these girl in high high heels. "Man they are going to have blisters.." Konnor said giggling to herself. Konnor looked back over to Catherine, and watched as she was tapping her foot to the beet of the insanely loud music. Konnor saw her look back, and watched as se blushed. She must have thought she was embarassing herself. She really wasn't though. Konnor appreciated that she was actually able to find the beat of the thumping music. Konnor was pretty challenged when it came to rythme. Konnor smiled as she saw Catherine turn back to her, by now her face was her regular color. Konnor laughed. "Oh, I know.." Konnor had known her by seeing her around Hogwarts. "Konnor Ortiz is the name.. Meeting people at clubs is the game.." Konnor laughed. "Uhh, I have never been to this particular club before.. I was supposed to meet a friend." Konnor said bitterly wondering where Kady could be. Konnor then smiled the conversation was developing. "Oh cool.." "I live close to some dance club.." "But its really nothing special.." "I think I have seen Giselle around Hogarts before." "I also have a twin sister Kelley.." "She is a Ravenclaw sixth year.." Konnor said sweetly. "How do you and your sister get along?" Konnor asked curiously. Her and Kelley didn't get along at all. She just wanted to see if that was how it is with other twin sisters as well. (I know how that feels te-he! )
