"¡Jordan! ¡Venga aquí! ¡Apuro!" Jordan! Come here! Hurry! Jordan looked up from her sketchpad as her twin brother, Justin, skid into the drawing room on socks. She rolled her eyes, and went back to her drawing, but was soon pulled out of it rather harshly and yanked into the large living room, "¡Mirada! ¡Usted está en la televisión!" Look! You're on television! Jordan raised a perfectly plucked eyebrow at her brother, but leaned on the back of the couch none the less. Justin plopped back into his seat, and grabbed the remote so he could adjust the volume. Sure enough, there she was. At the latin ballroom dancing finals. She looked magnificent, her brown hair done up in the most spectacular way and her red salsa dress swirling around her knees. Juan, her dance partner, looked equally amazing and she couldn't help but grin at the memory of only three nights ago. The dance ended and Jordan watched herself take a bow with Juan, and then it cut to commericial. The ratings would be next. Too bad she already knew what she got. She closed her eyes and said them aloud from memory; "8.5, 7, 6, 8.5, and 4." It was that four that had killed them. Jordan sighed and stood up straight, looking at her brother.
"¡Estupído!" Stupid! Jordan exclaimed as she swatted him over the head. Justin grinned and pulled his baseball cap off his head to adjust it. He then placed it back on and turned his attention back to the television. Jordan inhaled and walked back into the drawing room to finish her sketch. She needed to finish this, she wouldn't feel right if she didn't finish this soon enough. She picked up her charcoal pencil, and ran it smoothly over the place she had designated for the darkened shadows. The girl's face seemed to be illuminated with the shadows darkened in like that. Jordan marvelled at it's darkness for it a bit, and then closed the sketchbook- she would work on making the lines less noticable later. Right now she felt like tackling her brother. Which was precisely what she did. Jordan ran back into the living room and jumped on the couch, causing Justin to roll off onto the white floor. Jordan sat on top of him, pinning his arms to the ground and grinning. He wiggled beneath her as if he could get out of her pinning- which he could, if he wasn't so worried about hurting her. Justin grunted and finally flipped the position so he was on top, pinning her, and she was the one wanting to wriggle free.
"Nice!" Jordan said enthusiastically with a tiny hint of sarcasm, she sighed with defeat as she collapsed back onto the carpet. Justin nodded slowly as if to say, 'oh yeah, I beat you', and he let up...standing only a little. Jordan, without warning, swept her left leg underneath him and toward the back of his knees- so they buckled and he toppled forward. Jordan smiled innocently, and stood up while brushing herself off. She looked at Justin and grinned. Her twin. They looked a lot alike, the only difference being him a male and she a female- though there were times when he acted almost like a female more than a male. Especially when it came to chores. Jordan would never let him live the day down he was whining about mowing the lawn because they would ruin his new skater shoes. Jordan, never threw a fit as large as Justin had thrown one that day. Now she looked back on it, and fits of laughter- while Justin would sulk in the corner. He apparently couldn't believe that his sister was more 'manly' than he was. She was often called, 'muchacho', and he 'muchacha.' Justin hated that. Jordan took it as an insult sometimes, depends on when it was she was being called 'man.'
Justin ran his fingers through his brown hair, it was about the length of his chin and slightly curly but not by much. He usually wore it with his baseball cap on backwards- hiding the curls behind the black fabric or he wore it messed up. 'Girls like it like that' was what he told his sister when she bothered him about it. Jordan would curse and throw her hands up in the air as if to say, 'idiot!' BUt never uttered the word aloud. His soft brown eyes, that matched Jordan's perfectly, could melt any girls heart- and Jordan had seen many many melted hearts pass by the Justin Cortes dating service. He was a heartbreaker- that was for sure, and Jordan took no pride in being related to one of the hottest guys at the school. Even if she didn't attend said school. It was still hard to live by sometimes. Justin would be out almost every night, sweeping some girl off her feet- then the next night it be would be the same routine but with a different girl. Jordan and Katrina, had both yelled at Justin time and time again- Carlos had even added a few words of wisdom in there...but not once had anything gone through Justin's thick skull.
The doorbell rang, causing both her and Justin to snap out of their reveries. Jordan jumped up, hopped over the couch, maybe she could reach the door before he did. Except she wasn't rememebering the rug in the hallway, that was extremely easy to slip on. She landed, but then slid backward...flying down the hall. There was a loud crash, a roar of laughter from Justin- and then the swish of the door being opened. Jordan growled and tried to stand, but she had flew straight into a pile of boxes that contained clothes and dishes- just pots and pans. But still. Justin laughed again at the sight of his sister trying to get up and failing miserably, "Hurry sis, someone's at the door for you. Make sure you introduce me," Justin said as he ran over to help his sister up. Uh oh. Jordan knew that gleam in his eye, "Total babe." He finished. Jordan sighed, shrugged him off, and made it to the door- surprised to find who she found.

It was strange... Have you ever been in a home that was not your own? A home that did not belong to neither you, your mother, your father, or any other family member. But the home of your mother's best friend, who had just moved in herself. It was very strange to come back from spending the weekend at your father's house and finding out that your mother was leaving her husband and going to live with her best friend. The blond 15 year old was shocked, she was startled, she was any other word that could describe utter surprise. And on top of the mixed shock, there was joy. Joy that maybe she would never have to see Ray Walker ever again. A joy that only comes to a teenage girl when she finds out that she will be living in the same house as a very cute boy who she's had a crush on for... ever.
The puppy barked, the television's lights flickered on the bright, too bright white walls of the new house, and Jay'Na's crochet needle moved up and down as the woman controlling it worked hard on a blanket that would soon be finished. The icy blue eyes of a 15 year old witch watched the television screen intently, trying very hard not to seem too tense as she sat next to the son of her mother's best friend, who had been very sweet to let Amelia and her mother live in her new home.
Amelia Richardson, a lone witch living in an all muggle home, sat on the end closest to the television of the wrap around couch that took up the living room's largest corner. Jay'Na sat on the other end, crocheting at record speeds and Jaime, the boy who Amelia was watching out of the corner of her eye, sat beside her, watching the television, un aware of Amelia's tension. Dawn, Jay'Na's best friend, was no where to be seen, neither was Jaime's cousin Robert. Rebel, Amelia's new Crup puppy, played about on the floor, barking and wagging her forked tail. Everyone in the house knew Amelia was a witch... they were bothered at first, but now they didn't mind. Jaime was rather interested in Amelia's school, Hogwarts and for about a week interrogated her non-stop about it... let's just say Amelia was very annoyed with the 16 year old Muggle boy.
Amelia decided to be a bit funny and turned to look at Jaime suddenly, who looked at her, a bit startled at the sudden movement. The blond smiled and Jaime looked at her, an eyebrow raised above his right eye. Amelia put on a fake hurt expression and said, "What?" Her voice was so rich with sarcastic sadness that he laughed and shrugged.
"I don't know..." She smiled again at the sound of his voice... she wasn't 'in-love' with him, she didn't think about him constantly, but she did like him and would NOT mind if he ever asked her on a date, which her mother and father probably wouldn't have let her go on anyway. She was... how should we say? Boy crazy? Any cute boy she saw, she immediately liked until they proved to be jerks or rude.
Amelia glanced back at the TV and squealed, more like screamed, standing to her feet and running to the TV screen, jumping up and down screaming shrilly. Jay'Na jumped and dropped her crochet needle, Jaime jumped also and Dawn appeared out of the hallway, her eyes wide. It seemed like in unison they all asked what was wrong or what happened. Amelia merrily looked at them and then pointed at the screen. Only her mother understood why Amelia was so excited at what was showing in the TV screen. Dancing about in a wonderful salsa dress and dancing with a boy, there was Jordan at the Latin ballroom finals. Dawn stared at Amelia as if she was crazy and Jaime was laughing hysterically. Amelia glared at him, her eyes penetrating his. He stopped and looked slightly scared. She giggled and looked at her mother, her smile radiant.
"MOMMY! IT'S JORDAN!" she laughed, excited and started prancing about the room. Dawn and Jaime looked at Jay'Na, expecting a translation or an explanation or something. Jay'Na took her time to pick up her crochet needle, wrap the yarn thread about her pinky finger and her index finger and then looked up to answer.
"Jordan is Amelia's friend from... school," they both nodded and understood. Amelia stopped suddenly, remembering something. She looked at her mother and pleaded with her eyes as she dropped to her knees and scooted up to her mother's knees. Resting her chin on Jay'Na's knee and pouting up at her mother's face, she whined, "Mooooooooooommmmmmmmy... Can I please, please, please, please go to Jordan's house and surprise her!?" her mother paused and looked down at Amelia's pouting face.
"Amelia..." before her mother could even speak, Dawn made a sarcastic comment about cutting off Amelia's bottom lip if she stuck it out any further. Amelia merrily glared at Dawn and then looked back at her mother, who sighed and rolled her eyes.
"Where does she live..." it took about ten minutes to convince her mother that broomsticks weren't dangerous and having to go through Jaime's pleads to go with her and finally Amelia, with Jaime holding on behind her, was speeding away down the street. Within ten minutes she approached Jordan's house and dismounted, motioning for Jaime to follow her as she set the broom against the side of the house and walked toward the front door. As Amelia rang the doorbell, Jaime went on about how exciting it was to meet another witch and Amelia shushed him, hearing a commotion inside. The door finally opened and there stood her best friend.
"JORDAN!" she squealed, wrapping her arms around her friend's neck and hugging her. She knew the squeal would annoy her, Jordan hated it when Amelia squealed... but she did it anyway. Jaime cleared his throat, a sign that he wanted an introduction. She sighed and stepped back, waiting for Jordan to say something before she introduced them.

"Umph!" Jordan exclaimed as Amelia's arms were thrown around her neck, and the annoying squealing sound she made escaped her lips. Jordan rolled her eyes, as someone cleared their throat. It was then she noticed someone with Amelia, Jordan raised an eyebrow- but hugged her best friend. When they parted, Jordan crossed her arms and raised an even higher eyebrow. It was then Justin became a gentlemen- he socked Jordan in the shoulder before saying;
"Nice way to treat guests, aren't you going to invite them in?" Jordan winced and glared at her twin before opening the door wider and motioning for them to come inside. When they were both in, and heading into the living room- Jordan grabbed Justin's arm and pulled him back; "Don't you dare make a move on her. She's my best-friend from school, and if you go on a date with her, by God will you be dead the next morning." Justin chuckled while he draped an arm over JOrdan's shoulders, steering her into the living room. The television was still going and another couple was up dancing.
"Ames, this is Justin. My idiot of a brother." Jordan shoved him, so he sagged onto the couch that he had been sitting on the back of. He smiled that charming smile before adding; "Her twin." Jordan rolled her eyes. She stole his hat and examined it before placing it on her head- then she also took a seat, but in an armchair a foot or so away from the couch. Justin was fiddling with the remote now, but not doing anything with it- and there was a brief silence.
Jordan bit her bottom lip, "Ameeeelia. Is there a reason to this pleasurable surprise? Or were you trying to be spontaneous- not that you aren't spontaneous enough. And....who is this?" She arched an eyebrow in the other boys direction. She wanted to know who he was, and what he was doing with Amelia as if they were dating.

Amelia did not notice Justin right away, but once he spoke, she could not tear her eyes away from his face. His words melted her heart and she stared at him. His hat was put on backward and his hair was sticking out, she could see how it curled ever so slightly. Suddenly she forgot about Jaime standing there and just stared, a stupid smile on her face as Jordan glared at him. Amelia barely took her eyes off the boy as she walked inside after Jordan, not even caring if Jaime followed or not. She was sad to see Jordan angrily pull him aside in the kitchen. Amelia knew better not to follow, so she motioned for Jaime, who seemed surprise to find Amelia had not introduced him nor even acknowledged his presence to Jordan. She rolled her eyes and told him to sit on the couch, which she did also.
Her heart lept when Justin walked over and sat down next to her, smiling a charming smile. Amelia's eyelids fluttered girlishly and when Jordan stole Justin's hat, diverting his attention away from Amelia, she looked down, feeling idiotic. She... just... fluttered her eye lashes... there was something very wrong with her! She bit her lip and looked up at Jordan, determined not to be stupid any longer. Who was who? She then remembered Jaime sitting next to her, who seemed a bit angry at Amelia. The blond turned and smiled and apologetic smile. Then turned back to Jordan and speaking for the first time.
"Uhhhh yeah, this is Jaime. My mom's best friend's son," She introduced to Jordan and turning back to Jaime, "Jaime, this is Jordan, my best friend," she smiled a half smile as if saying, 'Ya-happy-now?" and added, "Of course I am spontaneous, Jordan... You know this!" she smiled for real and continued, "No, I saw you on the Latin ballroom dancing thing," she motioned to the TV where the same program was playing, "Why we were watching it in the first place, I do not know... but anyway I saw you and Juan and decided to pay a visit,"

Jordan smiled at the guy who had come with Amelia, in no way was it a flirtatious smile- Jordan wasn't like that...besides she was pretty wrapped up in Dillion Moore to be thinking of liking anyone else, the smile was a warm welcoming smile. The kind Jordan loved to give out a lot. She pulled the hat off her head, fixed her hair, and then set it back on as she breathed in deeply; "I see, you see me on the telle and decide 'oh! I know her! She's famous now! I must go visit her! Watch me, everyone, you should be so jealous! My best-friend's a famous latina ballroom dancer! Watch me prance over to her house and have a jolly ole time with my best-est-est friend!' Did you?" Jordan, having grown up in a Spanish household her whole life- didn't have a British accent like most who attended Hogwarts or lived in London did, but she could very well do one without having a hard time.
Justin was fidgeting in his seat. Out of the corner of her eyes, Jordan watched as her brother became more and more anxious to get out of the house and do something. He had been stuck inside all day, she didn't blame him especially since he had ADHD, but still...Jordan bit her bottom lip again and nearly jumped back in fright as Justin jumped up as well, shoved his hands in his pockets- and pulled out his car keys. He dangled them in the air, making a resounding tinkling sound and grinned wickedly. Jordan let her mouth drop open a little, before she shook her head in a way that said 'oh God here we go again.' She waited until Justin was pulling Amelia up, his grip on her hands soft and gentle- until she protested.
"Oh, no! No you don't! If we are going out, I am driving! There is no way I trust you behind the wheel hyped up on whatever you are on. Give me the keys!" Jordan reached forward, her hand opened- waiting to feel the cool metal against her skin. Justin looked at his keys then at his sister with a sad look. She was stern, and he was joking. He raised them a good few feet above her head, Jordan raised her eyebrow cockingly. So rude. She stood on her tip toes and tried to retrieve the keys, she still couldn't reach them. So, she grabbed his arm- pulled down and bit into him as hard as she could. He howled with pain and Jordan shrugged as she caught the keys, satisfied. She then licked her lips in a disgusted way, "Eck, you don't taste too good..." Jordan told him as she crossed her arms.
Justin chuckled, still wincing slightly from the pain. He looked at Amelia with sad eyes, then sent a glare to Jordan, who in turn- shoved him toward the front door- "Oh suck it up you big baby!" She told him. Justin smiled and stumbled out...she motioned for Amelia and Jaime to follow him. Jordan didn't know where they were going, but Justin wanted out and Jordan wasn't exactly complaining. She closed the door behind her and locked it before turning to Jaime, "So...I'm Jordan by the way, and that's Justin if you hadn't figured that much out. If you have any questions, I will be your lovely tour guide for the evening." She let out a little giggle before getting inside the car. She sent Amelia a look...a dangerous look. One that Amelia should know all too well, "Where to?"

Amelia waited for Jordan's rant to get over and that was her cue. She gasped, a fake gasp, but a gasp non the less. She looked at Jordan as if insulted, but the gleam in her eyes deceived this act. She tried not to smile as she sent a playful glare Jordan's way, "Well! I never thought that you... my dear friend-" she turned her head away in a dramatic pose, "-would say such a thing! And about-" she looked back at Jordan, dramatically putting both hands on her chest, which she pushed out in a sad pose, "ME!" She then sighed, still pretending, and looked down as if she were going to cry. Then she turned and looked at Jaime, suddenly over-excited.
"Guess what!" she urged him with her eyes to play along. He laughed at her and shrugged, deciding to indeed play along. "WHAT!?" he asked in a poorly acted fake enthusiasm. She gave him a look as if saying 'That sucked and you know it' for a brief moment and went back to her excitement.
"SHE'S FAMOUS!" And Amelia pointed to Jordan, "AND SHE'S MY bessssssssssssst friend!" she smiled at Jordan, knowing her friend would understand the little play her and Jaime just put on. It was at that precise moment that Justin jumped to his feet, startling both Amelia and Jaime. Justin pulled out his keys and looked at Amelia as if saying, 'lets take a drive' she smiled at him, locking eyes with him, wanting nothing more than her and him to drive off together without Jordan and Jaime. Justin took her hands in such a way that made Amelia take a sharp breath, still staring into his eyes. He held her hands so gently. She couldn't breath when his fingers touched hers.
She was rudely broken from this trance when Jordan jumped to her feet and insisted that she drive. Amelia glared at Jordan, Justin letting go of her hands. Her heart fell along with her hands, which fell to her lap. She sighed and watched Jordan and Justin battle one another for the keys. She did laugh when Jordan bit him, though. Jaime's laughs mixed with hers as they watched the twins struggle. Finally they were walking outside toward the car. Amelia instantly stood beside Justin as Jordan formally introduced herself to Jaime and told him, in a friendly-unflirtatious way, that she would help with anything he needed. It was the look that startled her. She knew the look, Jordan had given that look to many friends before, but never Amelia. She knew that Jordan was warning her about Justin. How she knew, she did not know, but she did. Even the way she said "where to" was a warning.
She gulped, hoping no one noticed. She didn't answer right away, but felt all eyes on her and looked around nervously. Jaime's eyes penetrated her in a way they never did before and Justin had this smile that made her heart beat furiously... why were they staring. Jordan's eyes seemed to stare into her soul. Amelia hesitated once again, "How should I know?" she finally said, "You're the ones who live here!" she looked at Justin, any excuse to say something to him, "Where do you want to go?" her voice was slightly dreamy, she knew Jaime wouldn't notice and Justin, him being a man wouldn't notice either, but Jordan... oh she would notice. Amelia glanced at her, but then back to Justin, locking eyes with his, waiting for his answer.

Justin shrugged as he slumped down in the passenger seat, why was Amelia asking him? It's not like he took many girls out...wait...yes it was. Justin looked at his sister out of the corner of his eye- he knew that later that night he was in for a yelling, and then Katrina and Carlos would join in. Jordan would start crying, claiming he was an arrogant arse who shouldn't even think that way about her best-friend...and Katrina and Carlos would agree with her. It was the same routine almost every night. Maybe he could get on her good side early...Justin hunched his shoulders up and crossed his arms...it was a worth a shot; "To Cuba..." He told Jordan with a twinkle in his eye. Maybe it would work.
Jordan watched her brother in disbelief. He was trying to get on her good side! Oh, and was it working! Jordan smiled ecstatically and buckled her seat belt before leaning back a bit to look at Amelia and Jaime, "To Underground Havana, Cuba. A dance club." She looked at Jaime, "Hope you can dance, if not- it's 1 hug per lesson." She winked. Two could play at the game Amelia was getting at. And although Jordan was pretty sure Amelia just htought her brother to be hott- she had no way of knowing if Amelia actually liked him. She couldn't come up front and ask her..of course that would be a catastrophe, but if Jordan was hurting her best-friend in anyway she woudl compensate for it later.
Jordan didn't like Jaime, she didn't know Jaime enough to even think about liking him. Sure, he was decent looking- and yes he seemed to be around the right age...Jordan had just turned 16 and that's what Jaime appeared to be, but she couldn't like anyone other than Dill. Amelia knew that. Or maybe she didn't. Maybe Amelia didn't know how crazy Jordan was for the Moore twin, but she was- head over heels. Everytime she saw him, her heart would pound harder in her chest...it just made the world sense when she was with him. Jordan and Dillion were best buds, pranksters in crime, they were so similiar and yet so unalike. Jordan was now calming down, thinking about her future- and yet Dillion, who was in his seventh year, wasn't. He was as hyper as ever, this worried Jordan sometime. But one couldn't worry much when with Dill.
As Jordan pulled out of the drive way and made her way toward the downtown of London where the dance club was located, she bit her lip in concentration. Her and Dillion had been good friends for 3 years, ever since she met him in her third year at Hogwarts . And now, they were even closer- but someone else seemed to like him as well. Hannah Abbot, Jordan had nothing against the girl; she thought her to be a sweet and kind soul...but she had always figured she had thing for Ernie MacMillan who..Jordan also knew. Jordan was so lost in thought, she didn't even realise her brother had turned on the radio and was listening to a heavy rock station. Justin could be seen out of the corner of her eye, playing the air guitar- but Jordan didn't snipe at him. She didn't mind. She was too busy thinking.
Jordan pulled down into a street, and let another thought roll over in her mind. Could Dill ever like her more than a friend? She thought he had a few years back, but now she wasn't so certain. He was still the lovable Dillion he had always been, but she was different. She wasn't the Jordan he knew way back when, when she was enthuasiastic about pranks- and loved to draw nice things instead of depressions and darkness. She was the type of girl who could make anyone smile, she was Jordan Elizabeth Cortes, and she was the Hufflepuff with Attitude. Now she was Jordan Cortes, the Hufflepuff with a set future in the world of wizards. She sighed and thought about how much she had changed since those past years. How she had become this adult...someone she never knew before.
The car stopped, and Jordan turned off the ignition- unbuckled her seat belt and slid out of the car. Justin did the same, but was immediately over toward Amelia's side of the car and standing in front of her, crouched down- facing away; "Piggy back ride?" He asked. Jordan rolled her eyes and slammed the door so hard it shook. She flipped her hair over her shoulder and watched as Justin continued to flirt with her best-friend. She crossed her arms and stood next to Jaime, who seemed a bit uncomfortable. She smiled kindly, and then grabbed his arm- and walking forward, but letting go after her first few steps; "C'mon. We need to get dance shoes and such. It'll be fun, I promise. Lation dancing, period, is the best type of dancing. But Latin dancing in Cuba...is something totally different...even in a fake Cuba."

Justin was silent a moment, a long moment. Finally he crossed his arms and looked to Jordan. The next words that came from his lips made Amelia whoop and jump for joy. Cuba... well Underground Havana, was the best salsa club in London! It may very well be the only salsa club in London, but that wasn't the point. Memories of Jordan teaching Amelia flashed through her mind. She had a sudden vision, as if she were re-living the memory once again, of her, the blond 13 years old, in a red, rather tight salsa dress that Jordan, herself, had lent her. Jordan had done a step and Amelia had tried it. It had gone on like that for 2 years, until now. Amelia Richardson was very good at salsa dancing and she had Jordan Cortes to thank.
Amelia ran to the other side of the car, excitement flooding through her and slid inside. Jaime followed, looking a bit confused. Jordan turned around in the driver's seat and explained just what "Cuba" was. Amelia smiled, feeling more and more excited as Jordan turned back around and turned on the ignition. The car roared to life and soon they were baking out of the drive way and driving down the street toward the secret underground club. Amelia looked outside her window at the houses speeding by. In between two houses, Amelia caught a glimpse of the sky. Pinks, golds and deep blues swirled in the clouds like a great painting. It was nearing the end of Sunset and darkness would soon fall... perfect time to go salsa dancing!
Amelia leaned back in her seat, looking at the side of Justin's head. He had turned on the radio and a heavy metal band blasted through the speakers. Jaime's head bobbed back and forth in a slight head bang as Justin was doing air guitar. Amelia smiled, almost laughing at the silly dance step. It was then that Justin turned his head and smiled at Amelia. Her heart skipped a beat and she smiled back. Sudden day dreams of her and him in the salsa club bounded through her mind's eye. They were alone, Jordan and Jaime had either left or her and Justin had snuck away alone, but the fact was the club was crowded (as it always is). He had grabbed Amelia's waist and soon they were dancing close and sensually. Amelia, outside her day dream, closed her eyes, a dreamy smile coming to her lips as she laid her head back against the seat.
Then- it hit her. Blake. Like a lightning bolt, a painful shiver ran through her spin and inside her skin as her eyes flew open and she sat up. Thankfully the other's were too busy to notice her. She sighed silently and put her head in her hands. What was she doing? She liked Blake! So then why was she flirting so much with Justin? Well... her and Blake weren't technically dating and she hadn't even flirted that much, only looks and smiles and daydreams... She lifted her head from her hands and looked out through the windshield at the darkening sky. What should she do? Was it really wrong to flirt with Justin? Oh it was and she knew it... The memory of her and him beside the lake came to her mind, only this time she recalled it on purpose. That kiss... that night! It was all so romantic and magicall and almost un real, but it happened. To flirt with Justin would almost be like spitting on that wonderful memory...
She was jolted from her thoughts as the car came to a sudden stop. Jordan and Justin exited the car. She was half way out of the car, her right hand on the car door, when Justin suddenly stood by her, turned away and crouched down, asking for a piggy back ride. She giggled like a 'Prep' and jumped onto his back instantly. Blake didn't have to know... Justin ran right by Jordan and Jaime and into the club. Amelia giggled into his ear as they dodged about people entering the club. She whispered into his ear "We need to go to the lockers," He nodded and headed that way. Amelia knew Jordan was heading the same way.
Justin stopped just in front of a small doorway, that lead to the locker rooms where a whole row of full length red painted lockers lined the back wall. He made a comedic 'Errrt' sound as he came to a halt. She squealed with joy and hopped off his back. He smiled at her and she smiled back. Then she took a deep breath, flirting with her eyes and entered the locker room. Playing Hard to Get was always fun. Justin followed her and she walked up to her old locker. It was just as red as the others, a black lock kept it closed and the number '12' was written in gold letters. She bit her tongue and thought hard for a moment, trying to remember her combo, when a tap on her shoulder announced Jaime had arrived. She turned and smiled at him. He looked very confused and rather uncomfortable. She gave him a reassuring smile and turned back to the locker, turning the dial to the three numbers that she could think of. The lock didn't budge.
"GAH!" she said in frustration, after trying about five more times, "Where's Jordan!?"

"I'm here!" Jordan called with her thick Spanish accent shining through. She did a quick roll of her hips as she made her way over to her locker which was right beside Amelia's. In her mouth was a cherry lollipop with a tootsie roll in the center, she tucked her hair behind her ear, and spun the dial on her lock with ease. She tugged off the combination lock, and opened her locker - placing the lock on the hook inside. She pulled out her black salsa dress, she held it up to herself and spun around. Amelia seemed to have forgotten her combination. Jordan laughed, grabbed the lock- and unlocked it with one hand. She then pulled open the door before handing Amelia the lock and saying, "17-22-8. Remember it."
She then grabbed her shoes out of her locker, slammed it shut, and threw her dress over her shoulders. With her free hand- she grabbed Jaime's arm and pulled him into a seperate locker room. Justin was changing into his clothes that he danced in, and she pushed past him as he looked at his sister with an upraised eyebrow. Jordan pulled Jaime further into the room and found an empty locker. She pointed to a booth, "Get your shoe size- and your clothes. Same size as these.." She tugged on his shirt sleeve and then walked out...getting ready to change. She re-entered the girl's locker room and slipped her jeans and shirt off. She then slipped into her salsa dress. She then put her right foot on the bench, slipped her black strappy dance shoes on her feet and flipped her hair.
"So.." Jordan said nonchalantly as she walked to the sinks and mirrors. She looked at her reflection before pulling her rather long brown hair into a sloppy bun. She then looked at Amelia in the mirror, "You like my brother..." Jordan raised an eyebrow cockingly and turned to look at the real Amelia. She leaned against the sink and watched her friend with a cool disposition. She waited for her to answer, but before she could Justin burst through the door. He wore his black pants, which closely resemebled his church pants, and a loosely buttoned white shirt. Jordan chuckled as he slid into his shoes. He grinned at his sister before running a hand through his hair which was now wild locks.
"Where's Jaime, Tom Cruise?" Jordan asked in reference to Tom Cruise in Risky Business. Justin shrugged and sat down on a nearby bench, his knuckles rapping on the wood to a salsa beat that could be heard not far away. Jordan rolled her eyes, clearly annoyed, and made her way out of the locker rooms- "I'll be on the dance floor, find me if you need me." She smiled and then walked down the hall. The beat was pumping through the speakers, the lyrics of the spanish song flowing through her. Already she was dancing, her step was a bounce, and her hips moved to a sultry beat.

Amelia turned around completely as Jordan spoke behind her. The blond stared, an up raised eyebrow above her right eye as she stared at Jordan unlock her locker and pull out her black dress. A hand went to her hip as she waited for Jordan to help her remember her combo to the locker. Once Jordan unlocked her locker and revealed the forgotten locker combination, Amelia smiled saying thank you and turned to the contents of her locker. A red and black salsa dress hung inside. It was a bit old and probably tight on her, but that was good. She looked behind her as Jordan led Jaime away through the boys locker room. She then noticed that Justin had disappeared. She shrugged and turned back to her dress.
It had been so long since she had worn it and it looked beautiful than ever. The red was so bold, so dark- kind of like blood, lined in black. She held it against her and sighed happily. She pulled off her t-shirt and jeans, then slipped on the strapless dress. She then turned back to her locker and took out her red dance shoes. She was about to put them on when Jordan walked in, putting her own shoes on, then walked to the mirror. Amelia buckled the heals and looked up as Jordan said something. She bit her lip, about to answer, but she hesitated and was very glad she did. Justin bolted in. She spun around and looked at him. His pants, his shirt, his hair... they all looked HOTT! Her breathing stopped and she smiled, not hearing a word Jordan was saying to him.
It was when Jordan left, Amelia's heart started to beat once again. Only it was as if it were kick started and beat ultra fast. She smiled at Justin, as if nothing were wrong with them alone in a girl's locker room and walked to the mirror, her heals clicking on the floor. His eyes watched her the whole way, she could feel them on her tight dress. She brushed through her hair and shook her head back and forth, smiling at her reflection. Suddenly a banging sort of loud tapping noise resounded from behind her. She spun around and there was Justin standing on top of one of the wooden benches, tap dancing in his dancing shoes. Her eye brow shot up and she stared at him as if he were crazy.
He jumped down and grabbed her around the waist, pulling her into a strange dance, half tap- half salsa dance. She giggled a bit and danced back, trying her best to follow his crazy moves. A voice called from the boys locker room doorway and the two froze.
"Hey, save that for the dance floor!" Jaime said. Amelia's eye brows rose in surprise and her mouth dropped. He looked gorgeous! His long, skater blond hair fell about his face in a, how should we say, sexy? way. His eyes were brought out by the loose blue shirt and white pants that he wore. Her breath caught and she left Justin's arms, running up to Jaime, throwing her arms about his neck.
"You look awesome!" he smiled and bobbed his head with the music. Jaime took her hand and rose his eye brows up and down in an excited, very American way.
"Let's go dancing!" She nodded and grabbed Justin's hand, leading both boys out of the locker rooms and through a small hallway, she knew both boys' eyes were glued to the strapless dress and she loved it. Her heart still pounded nervously, but she was loving how she had two hott boys at her disposal. This had never happened before! She was enjoying every minute of it. They walked through a bead doorway and entered the dark dance floor. Coloured lights spun around and hit the almost pitch black darkness of the dance floor. Amelia looked around through the heads and swaying hips of those dancing around her. She finally spotted Jordan, dancing with some boy who she recognized at once as Juan, her dance partner. Amelia marched over to her best friend, still holding both hands. She dropped Justin and Jaime's hands and grabbed Jordan around the waist, pulling her from Juan. Her hips immediately started to sway and she started to dance with her friend, impressing both Jaime and Justin.

It wasn't a moment after she stepped into the dancing room of the club that her hand was grabbed by a familiar touch. Jordan grinned and allowed herself to be pulled into the arms of Juan Sanchez. The familiar scent engulfed her and swallowed her hole, as she rested easily in his arms. He was the son of the owner of Havana. And he was always there, which was why on Wednesday nights the dance floor was open to them and them only. Juan placed a firm hand on her lower back and led her onto the dance floor, his hips gently rolling against hers. She smiled and looked up at him. He was roughly around the age of 18, his hair was black and he always pulled it back into a ponytail. He had a clean shaven face and he had eyes that made you melt. He was a true Mexican, which made his appeal much more mysterious. She breathed in his fragance; "Working late tonight?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.
Juan chuckled and bent lower to whisper in her ear; "Something like that..." His breath tickled her ear and Jordan smiled. They had a platonic relationship- no matter how emotional and sensual they got in their dance, they still thought of each other as good friends and nothing more. Juan stepped forward, and Jordan stepped back- her eyes never leaving his...then she knew what was coming next. He spun her out, then she spun back in. He stuck his knee out a little and she rested on it, sort of. Then he sort of rolled her around as he rolled his hips. Jordan came back up then spun away before he let go. She salsa'd toward him with a grin. Then Juan, laced his arm around her waist and walked in a circle with her, their eyes locking. They then danced without a routine, each moving with each other as if they were one. Then she was pulled away from his safety and the security away from Juan. Jordan sighed and looked at who tore her away. It was Amelia. A broad smile fluttered across her face- that was okay.
She danced with her best-friend a bit, unashamed. She was comfortable around everyone there. They all knew her as Aléjandra Cortes' daughter. She moved with grace and with poise, and there were times when she was very freestyle. Jordan had learnt well from her mother, and she loved to show it off- even with Amelia dancing with her. After a moments dancing with her best friend, she turned her attention to Jaime. Slowly, Jordan reached out- grabbed his hand and led him to a clearing. She placed his hand on the small of her back, and then held his other in hers. She stepped forward, and he was forced to step back. Soon he was the one leading. Jordan grinned and added a turn into the dance step, Jaime seemed to be enjoying himself; "See? ¡Es facil! It's easy!" Jordan stopped dancing as the music changed. The beat grew quicker, and she threw her hands above her head- clapping to the quick 16th notes. She was about to reach for Jaime and lead him in a faster beat, when the soft touch of Juan was on her waist. He picked her up and twirled her around so she landed on a small platform. The lights changed and strobe lights came on. Jordan smiled a flashing smile and started to dance, she felt sort of bad leaving Jaime down there- but Juan wanted to dance so she was dancing.

Amelia smiled broadly as her and Jordan danced. Her arms raised above her head and her hips moving. Jordan's attention, after a few moments of dancing, was diverted to Jaime, who was still frozen in place, while Justin was smiling and moving his body a bit to the music. Jordan took hold of Jaime's hand and lead him away. Amelia laughed, shaking her head at her best friend. She knew better than to think Jordan liked Jaime. Jordan wasn't like that. Amelia stood there a moment, watching Jaime dance with Jordan, when suddenly there were hands about her waist and she giggled, somehow knowing it were Justin. She turned to looked behind her and smiled up at Justin's face.
"Wanna dance?" he asked. Her smile was her answer. She moved her hips and put her hands around his neck. They were moving together within seconds, as if moving as one body. She raised her hands into the air and let him twirl her around in a tight circle. When he stopped her, he leaned her back, holding her with one hand. Amelia raised her leg into the air, as Justin smiled into her face. She laughed and he grabbed her leg, pulling her back up. She jumped and he caught her.
The best dance ever! The song ended and Amelia smiled at Justin, "Well, it looks like Jordan isn't the only one with the dancing talents!" he laughed a bit, holding her close. "Ditto," Amelia couldn't help but smile. She then noticed how close her and Justin really were standing. His hands on her hips and her hands resting on his arms. They started into each others eyes for a few minutes and Amelia felt a pang of guilt as she smiled into his eyes. Blake's face drifted to her mind and she shook her head. What was she doing? She sighed and pulled away from him, just as a slow song was beginning. Justin grabbed her hand and swirled her around to face him.
She let him. True, she felt horrible. True, it felt wrong, but something about Justin. Something about the way he held her, made her want to forget all about Blake. She let his hands encircle her waist again and pull her close. She placed her hands around his neck and would not look into his eyes as they danced. Every time he twirled her, every time he tried a dance move, Amelia would barely do it. She would stiffly turn around and never looked into his eyes. It was when the song ended that the night turned sour for Amelia.
He dipped her once again, Amelia leaning her head back and when she looked up again, Justin's lips were on hers. She was shocked and surprised and horrified, but something told her to kiss him back. She started to... but she couldn't. She pushed him off of her and stormed off of the dance floor, right past Jaime, who was trying to dance with another girl, and right past Jordan and Juan. Justin ran after her, calling her name, but no one could hear because the loud music. Amelia was in the locker room within seconds, collapsing onto the floor in a heap. No sobs escaped her lips. Something else held the tears back. She sat there, knowing Justin would be there in a second.

Jordan looked up as a flash of blond hair flew past, then Justin appeared- running after the runaway blond. Jordan raised an eyebrow and hopped off the platform. She grabbed her brother's arm and pulled him back, holding him from running after Amelia. She turned him to face her, and all the fire and fierceness was noticable in her eyes. Her brown eyes danced with anger toward her twin, and oddly enough Justin's eyes reflected hers. Jordan's grip on his arm was stingingly harsh and Jordan knew this, if she pressed any harder her nails could probably draw blood. She had known this was going to happen. Justin wasn't capable of making one girl happy- he had to move from girl to girl, that or he completely messed something up. Her eyes pierced him, and he knew what was coming.
"What did you do?" She asked in a tone that told him to watch what he answered that any wrong word could get him into deeper trouble. Justin sighed and placed his hands behind his head, his fingers laced. It rudely reminded Jordan of the time she had watched her dad's friend, who was like her uncle, get arrested. Jordan shook her head and waited for Justin to answer. He was going to, whether he wanted or not. Jordan was going to get him to tell her what exactly happened. Another short stretch of silence and Justin let out a calming breath before taking a seat on a nearby bench. Jordan didn't move her stance, she watched him- unflinching in her facial expression which showed pure anger.
"I," He began...but he cut off. As if he didn't believe he had done it either. Which was true, he couldn't believe he had kissed her- of course he had kissed loads of girls before, and none of the kisses had meant anything. But this kiss wasn't planned. He sort of just acting on instinct, "I..kissed her." Jordan's jaw dropped and Justin waited for the increasing pain that was sure to come to his head. It never did. When he opened his eyes to see why his sister wasn't beating him, she was gone. Jordan was no doubt going to find Amelia. Her brown hair flying out of it's bun and rolling down her shoulders in soft curls. She turned into the locker room and found her there, sitting- looking like she was going to cry. Jordan wasn't sure if she had yet or not.
"Hey..." She said as she took a seat next to her. Jordan knew Amelia was blowing this a little out of porportion. Justin kissing Amelia wasn't something to be crying about, even if one did have a boyfriend. Justin's kisses never meant anything- unless the girl had been going out with him for at least a month. Which never happened. Jordan had reasons to suspect Justin was gay, but then again- Jordan hated her twin brother.

When Jordan entered, Amelia looked up at her, sort of showing her friend that she was strong enough not to cry. The really was no point in crying, it wasn't like her and Blake were seriously dating. It was how she felt when he touched her, the way his hands held her and when his lips touched hers, she couldn't breath. She liked Blake and she liked Justin... then there was all the other guys she flirted with. It wasn't that she was a tease, she hated to think of herself that way. She was single and most definatly looking. Jordan sat down next to her and Amelia stared at her feet, no expression on her face and the look of deep thinking in her eyes.
"Hey..." she answer Jordan's first greeting. She tried to remain calm, but something about the silence in the dressing room and the distant sound of music made her want to scream. She took a quick breath and started on her rant.
"I don't know what I was doing! I like Blake, I really do... but Justin, he... I... we..." she sighed, not knowing what else to say. Her speedy words seemed to flow from her mouth, "I don't know," she slowed down, taking a deep breath and banging the back of her head on the wall at which she was sitting against, "I kissed him back... then I ran away like a scared kid," she shook her head looking at Jordan, "I mean, it's not like me and Blake are dating or anything,"

Jordan let a laugh escape her lips. She quickly covered her mouth and sent an apologetic glance Amelia's way. She draped her arm over her friend's shoulder and rested her head against Amelia's, "A kiss isn't anything to be afraid of, Ames. If you and Blake aren't dating...then it didn't mean anything. Unless it did. Then you have to make up your mind. Do you like Blake or Justin more? If you felt like the world stopped, because of Justin- then you need to actually consider your options. But if it didn't, the only thing you need to worry about...is getting a disease. Come on..it's Justin. Who knows what he's kissed?" Jordan smiled reassuringly at her friend and nudged her lightly.
"Don't worry about it ok? You can have some definite fun with this, chíca. Justin is going to go crazy if you walk out there and act like nothing is wrong. He'll go insane if you make up an excuse why you ran out, say your cell phone went off or something. But, honestly? If you let him see you like this- it'll just make him...proud? His ego will glow. And his head will grow. You know how guys are. Especially guys like him. Now, I love my brother, but he isn't Mr. Relationship. So, come on. Don't show him you're weak. Let him see the true Amelia. The puerte Amelia." Jordan stood up, and pulled Amelia with her. She led her out of the locker room and back onto the dance floor. The music overhwelming her already.

Amelia sent a glare at Jordan for laughing. This was NOT funny! Jordan's apologetic glance made Amelia forgive her friend and she let Jordan put her arm around her. Amelia closed her eyes, thankful her friend was so nice to her and lay her head on her friend's shoulder as Jordan leaned her head against Amelias'. She listened closely, understanding everything Jordan said. Amelia was used to hearing about Justin and his "relationships" from Jordan. Amelia just never knew he could be so... flirtatious! How could she like three boys at once? Jaime, Blake, and now Justin! It was all so confusing! Amelia sighed as Jordan's words ceased and she pulled her to her feet. Amelia stared at Jordan for a moment and composed herself. Jordan was right, she had to be strong and face Justin... Amelia knew Jordan hoped she would act as if nothing happened so that Justin would go crazy. That was Jordan for you... loves to torture her twin brother!
Amelia let Jordan pull her onto the dance floor once again. She smiled at Justin, as if nothing had happened. She was rather good at pretending nothing was wrong... after all she had lived her mother and her step dad! She did it all the time! When Justin stared at Amelia confused, Amelia just smiled even bigger. She held up her cell phone, taking Jordan's advice.
"Sorry, my cell went off." Justin's eyes told her he didn't believe her, but Amelia took a hidden deep breath and turned to Jaime, grabbing his hand. Amelia pulled him out onto the dance floor and smiled up at his face. Jaime was confused also, but Amelia pretended as if nothing had happened, as if it really was her cell phone. Justin stared at Amelia as she danced with Jaime. He seemed hurt, confused, and rather angry all at once. Amelia put her arms around Jaime's neck and closed her eyes, burying any hurt that she had experienced. Jordan was right. She had to chose... It was either Justin, Jaime, or Blake. She couldn't possibly go out with Justin... he just wasn't her type. He was too sleazy for her. But Jaime... he was sweet and wonderful and funny... but so was Blake. Would she go with Wizard or Muggle? She knew she would see Jaime more...
Suddenly it hit her as Amelia taught Jaime a few more moves. Blake hadn't seen her all summer... he probably didn't even remember that night by the lake! Amelia was holding onto false hope! Jaime was the closest boy at the moment and if he didn't like her, Amelia would be able to take it... It didn't matter! They were just boys! She was only 15! As Amelia looked into Jaime's eyes, she betrayed her debate and Jaime seemed confused once more, yet concern was mixed with his confusion.
"Hey... are you really OK?" Amelia tried to nod, then she shook her head, laying her head on Jaime's shoulder. Her held her as a real friend would. "Well... what happened?" Amelia took a deep breath and explained all that happened in his ear. He listened intently, still dancing ever so slightly. She included everything about Blake, the kiss with both boys, and then... she added in her feelings for him. Jaime was a bit... shocked... he took a deep breath and pulled Amelia away so he could look her in the eye. They stared at each other for a moment and finally, he motioned for the locker rooms.
They walked to the rooms once again, Jaime holding her hands. Justin threw his hands up in frustration, his confusion becoming too much and he stalked off to dance with some hott girl. Amelia and Jaime entered the locker room and Jaime sighed again, looking at the floor.
"I never knew you liked me so much..." Amelia shrugged, a bit embarrassed, "But... I mean... Amelia... I like you... but not like that," Amelia's heart sank and she nodded, looking down. He tried to explain, but Amelia shushed him. Telling him she understood.
"It's fine, Jaime," she said a bit quietly, "I'll get over it! Besides, I think it's time we went home..." She smiled at him and he nodded. They embraced in a hug, and Amelia walked up to Jordan, talking loud over the music, explaining she wanted to go home. Maybe back to her place to hang out, but mainly away from the dance floor. She motioned to Justin, who pretended not to see and Amelia led Jaimed to the locker rooms where she began getting dressed and Jaime went off to change. When Amelia was finished getting changed and was back in her muggle clothes, she sat down and sighed again. What a day! Jaime entered also, sitting beside her as they waited for Jordan.
