"Good call!" She called as she moved Casey into a canter. Maryn was scared of who was following them. She didn't feel like being killed! It could be anyone from a student to a Death Eater. It was dark times and you always had to watch behind your back. They continued to ride to there destination. maryn took Casey to the lake for a fip of water. "Wow, I'm scared and tired!" She said.

After riding for a bit, Emma and Maryn stopped at a nearby lake. It was beginning to get colder, and Emma hugged herself. Taking out some bread from the satchel, she handed MAryn some and ate a bit herself. For the horses, she gave some special oat mix, with a few Mary's Magical Mints mixed in. They drank deeply from the lake while Emma sipped some Pumpkin Juice. Although they were at the lake already, she felt a need to get inside. "Eat this, and have some Juice, then we can get inside and sit in the stables for a bit. It's nice and warm there, and the horses can be untacked. Sound ok to you?" Emma's teeth were almost chattering- the excitement about her pink saddle this morning had seemed years away, though it was only a few hours.

Maryn took a few bites of bread and ate some juice. It had been a long, eventful day. Maryn smiled. She had had fun. It was even fun chasing Spice like cowboys did. Maryn laughed at the thought. She then listened to Emma saying they could hang in the stables. "Oh, it's getting late." She said looking at her watch. "We better go. I'm tired." She smiled and looked at Emma waiting for an answer.

The day had indeed been fun, and Emma knew that more day's like this would follow. She also knew she had over-reacted about Spice- if she had just thought then everything would always be ok. Smiling, Emma nodded understandingly. "Sure- it's ok, i agree. How about we meet up another time? Your choice where- hogsmeade, anywhere. My mother will take me to hogsmeade any day." Spice took a bite of Emma's apple, and Emma grinned, patting the horse's muzzle. Giving the apple to the horse, Emma reached into the hamper, taking out a big slice of Angel Cake.

"Sure, sounds fun." Maryn answered. She had fun and wished it wouldn't end, but Maryn was tired. She hadn't been out for a long time. "It was a good first ride out." She commented. Maryn was happy that her first ride had been with Emma and not someone who barely had fun. Emma was so full of life just like Maryn. Maryn was a happy, cheerful person and that's how she liked it.
"Ok, well see ya later. Tell me when you want to go to Hogsmead." Maryn said as she finish what she was eating and brushed off the crumbs from her clothes. "Bye." She said as she got up and turned to go home. Maryn smiled as she pulled Casey along taking him back to the stable. She couldn't walk with Emma because Maryn had to go another way. Casey was going to a different stable for the night as Maryn's parents requested for no reason. She didn't care. Maryn was just glad to be back in the saddle.

With a smile, a friendly wave and a mint for Casey, Emma watched her friend left. The day had been good, and very fun. She had learnt how to lasso better, and that snake's are annoying. With another smile, she packed up the things and got onto Spice, heading in the opposite direction to Maryn's reatreating back. In the stables she untacked Spice slowly, leaving the bridle on. Then riding bareback she trotted home, smiling all the time.
((that the end? good posting : D))
