"Jordan Georgia Lehane! You get back here!" The voice of Jill echoed through-out the large victorian house. Jordan looked up from her eisel and peered around it as her mother appeared in the doorway. Of course, Jordan knew she had done something wrong or else the older woman wouldn't have been so annoyed. Jordan placed the paintbrush on the rack and stood up from her seat. Her brown hair was pulled into two braids and she looked at her mother with as much innocence as she could muster. Reasons as to why she was getting lectured ran through her mind. It couldn't have been because of the spilt paint in the parlor. Or was it because of the gelatin goo she had left out on the counter- which was a solid before she forgot to put it back in the fridge? Jordan sighed as Jill walked up to her, her arms crossed over her chest- and a look of pure anger on her face. "Being the youngest in the family, Jordan, I know you have slipped up on your responisibilities many times before. But this, is too far. I asked you yesterday, to make sure you went for the appointment. The DMV appointment, and I just recieved a call from Instructor Davies that you did not appear. Do you want your liscence Jordan? Or do you want to have to walk everywhere from now on?" Jill looked at her daughter with a look of deep disappointment. Suddenly it rang clear in her head, the driving lesson! Jordan put her palm to her forehead harshly and made a noise that could only be described as hissing. She knew sorry wasn't going to cut it. Her mother had gone out of her way to get Jordan this appointment, and here she had blown it off totally. Jordan closed her eyes, and counted to ten before opening them again slowly. "I'm sorry, mum. I was wrapped up, in well, everything. I'll just, get a bicycle I suppose. Look, I know I messed up. And I'm sorry." Jordan apologised in a low voice. She lowered her head and looked at her feet. Her mother was greatly dissapointed in her, and Jordan accepted that. Sometimes punishments and yelling, were better than dissapointment. Jordan had never been put on restrictions, or yelled at. She was always disappointed in. And frankly, that got tiring. She would never say anything about it of course. That would be a bit odd, wouldn' it? Jill sighed and left the room without another word. Jordan knew that was her cue to leave the house. She untied her smock, and grabbed her jacket, slippped it on and left. The sun was shining brilliantly outside, as she walked along the streets of London. It was the last summer day, and Jordan was enjoying as much of it as she could. She turned left, and felt an overwhelming sense of de ja vu. As if she had been down that street before. That was when she realised, she had been down that street before. Dillion's street. Dillion Moore and her were in the same house and only a year apart. They had been partners in crime for the longest of times, then Jordan kind of stopped. They hadn't spoke since her fourth year, maybe? Jordan sighed and tucked some stray strands of hair behind her ear as a gust of wind came and blew at it. Her eyes were fixed on the flat, as if by looking at it- it could make him come out. She wasn't even sure if he was home or not. She breathed in, and continued walking down. Jordan passed his house as if she didn't realise it was his. But it wasn't until she was partway down the street, when someone called her name. Jordan stopped walking and looked behind her, with a small smile. ((Hope it was alright I ended it this way...couldn't think of anything else ))

Nice beautiful day like this Pops told him to get out. Not those words maybe...couldn't remember, but something like that. Not sure why really. He tried to help. Cleaning, everyone cleaning. Something about leaving house nice before school started. He tried to help! Big step! No like cleaning! Cleaning bad! But he tried, he did. Made more mess than clean according to Mum N. Split bottle of carped stuff on the table. Made the finish bubble up. Looked great through! Spiel more on purpose after. Good times....Then he got sent to pack, but got distracted with Hufflepuff banner and tried to sing Quidditch song while using it as a cape until it got all tangled and tripped him and he knocked over the lamp. Mum N said the house would get much cleaner much faster if he went for a walk. Something about fresh air doing him good. Didn't care though. No cleaning outside!!! Forgot to grab his jacked as he bounced out the door. Went back in and got in, having to spin around outside the front door three times before it was on. Once on he was very dizzy, but he looked up and saw someone he thought was very familiar, but then he was very dizzy. There seemed to be more than one of them and they were moving side to side, side to side, side to side, side to side...no wait! focus. "Jordan!" Long time since spoke! Long Long time, too long. Years! Well, talk on quidditch team, she play quidditch too, not besides that year before. Distracting stuff maybe....maybe she went to class! No fun there though. Nope, no fun! He bounced over to her and in a circle around her. "Happy happy day! Been long long time! To long! Far too long! Where ya goin'? Fun? Fun stuff! Must do fun stuff! So Bored! Tried to clean, no so good...clenaing no fun! Lets have fun!"

Jordan giggled slightly at Dill's hyperness. He had always been hyper. And she never could blame him. She couldn't see Dillion without being hyper. She herself had once been hyper- but she had simmered down some. It didn't seem like Dill would be doing any simmering anytime soon. Jordan smiled at herself at this thought....it was amusing. To think he would never grow up..mentally. Or he might, but that would be a little bit of a miracle. She crossed her arms as he bounced around her, and waited until he was in one spot.
Then it was her turn to be overjoyed. She grabbed his hands and pulled him into three quick circles. Laughing as she did so, "Dillion! Been a very very very long time! Where have you been? What have you been doing? Any good pranks lately? How about your family? Are they doing well too? Oh, it's been ages, Dillion!" She stopped twirling and looked at him with a large grin. She really had missed being with Dillion, he had always made the best side of her come out. Always. And it made her very happy to know she had a friend like that. It kind of depressed her that he was a seventh year, and would be graduating from Hogwarts after this year...but still- she would make the best of their time together as much as possible.

Spinning! Spinning! Spinning! Love to spin! Spin, Spin, Spin! Fun! Wait...stopping...me stop, world not. World still spinning...Tried to stand, weaving back and forth, back and forth. Dizzy!
"Me? Good good! Been here! Here, here, here. Boring here. Clean, no fun! Good though. All good! Family good! I good! All good! Good, Good Good! No prank though! So long! Long! Too long! No fun, need you, fun then, no you no fun! Long time no pranks! Miss you! Miss you! Miss you!"
Leaned forward and did a hug type thing. Sort of due to dizzy and hard to stand up. Sort of due to long time no see missing. Hug quick then pull away and bounce backward.
"Lets do fun stuff!"

"Fun stuff!" Jordan agreed as she and Dillion both stopped hopping around. This is how she was when she was around him. She acted like she was five again. Like she could fly through the sky without being called down for supper because she was five and could do whatever she wanted when she wanted to. Jordan spun around rather quickly, and smiled widely at Dill before she put her her finger to her chin and thought about what to do.
"What do you want to do? What is there to do? Any ideas? Any at all? We must do something! Before school, before anything! We have to do something, something wild, something crazy, something...us! We need to set off fireworks or soemthing, or...or...or...I don't know! Just something!" Jordan kept stressing that word. What could they do? What was there to do in dreary London? They could run around and pull pranks here and there...or maybe they could go down to a lake and feed the ducks or something! They just needed to do something! Something that defined them!
"What to do, what to do, what to do?!" She exclaimed as she spun around again and looked at Dill with a quizzical expression.

Listened to her ideas while doing own form of dancing in street. Too happy to stand and listen! Much more fun to dance! Not good at dancing--bounced around, kicked out legs, sound effects! Though ideas while she talk. Something! Something fun! School soon, school fun fun fun! But work, class stuff. Celebrate summer! "Fireworks!!!! Always fun! Yes, Yes! I want fireworks! Miss them, not so many, nopers. We set fireworks off! O! Idea...idea...coming...." Had to stop and look down and hit side of head for moment. "Come out!!! Idea stuck. Need to get out!" Had to hit head for moment before looked up, grabbed Jordan's hand and dragged to front door. Good thing didn't go far! Door still there! "Come come! Fireworks! Still have one! One! One! Set it off! Get more at school, Hogsmead so close! Go there once at school, Zonkos! Been so long! Too long! Get more once at school!" Dragged Jordan inside and up stairs to flat where family live, opened front door and flew inside, dragging Jordan along to his room, where Alex and Payton cleaning. Both looked confused. Went to trunk, started digging, throwing stuff all over room, brothers not look happy. Finally find yellow bag, wrinkled up. Screamed out and grabbed Jordan's arm again dragging her back out of room, through front room, even though Mum N and Pops look confused, still dragged right out door, back downs stairs and onto street. "No! Set off....Where?"

Jordan was yanked up to Dillion's house. The flat. She had been there once. Christmas. She smiled at the familiarity of it. Waved awkwardly and somewhat apologetically at Pops and everyone. Nearly burst out laughing at Payton's and Alex's face at Dillion's mess again. Then she was pulled through the flat and out the door again. She didn't have much time to think when she was with Dill. He stopped walking, asking where to set the firework off and Jordan's eyes followed the buildings along the street. The fire escapes hung down, high enough for her to reach. A thought sprung into her mind.
"Come!" She grabbed Dill's free hand and pulled him over down a few houses and shops. She then stopped, and turned toward the fire escape. Her hands gripped the rung of the ladder and she began to climb, motioning for Dill to follow her up. Her boots clicked as she continued to climb, higher and higher. Jordan hated heights. BUt she was having too much fun to turn around and stop now. Besides, being with Dill made her that much braver. She continued to climb until she reached the roof of the building. She then climbed over the edge and clambered on top, getting chalk dust all over her.
Jordan peered over the edge at Dillion, grabbed his arms and helped him up. She grabbed the firework from him and made her way stealthily across the rooftop to a glass skyroof. She crept around that, and then placed herself behind a pipe that was reaching upward through the cement. She grinned mischeviously at Dill and handed the firework over to him, "Let's set it off at night though. So everyone can see it. Sound fun? Everyone should see the pretty fireworks! The colours!" Jordan jumped up and twirled, her arms outstretched and her head tilted back. A childish grin across her lips.

"Coming!" Held hand tight and ran down street. No know were running, but run anyway! Fun though! Running fun! Keep running until Jordan let go. Then have to jump to stop and turn around. Jordan climbing! Climbing fun! Start climbing up behind Jordan. Climbing more fun if you sing! No song to sing. Need song...need song! Need song! What do sing!
Jordan grabbing arm...oh! At top! No need to sing song, at top now! "Oh! Night! Set of dark! Pretty colors in dark! Good! Wait until night! What to do until night? Need to do something until night. Something fun. Need to do something fun. Think of something fun. Think. Think. Think. Think. Think. Think.Think. I want to set of fireworks now! Waiting no fun. Night better though. Yes, better. Night better. But no want to wait! What we do until then need something to do!" Reached out and tugged on sleeve, jumping up and down, trying to think of something.

Jordan looked down at Dill, "I don't know what there is to do! What to do! What to do!" She tapped her chin as she sat down on the ground. She was out of ideas. She had no idea what to do. There were many things she would do if she were alone. Draw, for instance- but Dill couldn't sit still long enough to do that. They could go from roof top to roof top, and stuff like that. But what would they do after that? Jordan wanted to watch one of those movies that they put on a screen in the town square area type place, but that wasn't until much much later. So what to do before? Before darkness?
"I don't know! What do you want to do?" She asked Dill, hoping he had some form of an idea...

Thought for moment. Need idea. Good idea. Idea in head. Idea always in head, getting out was hard part. Scrunched up face. Try to get it out that way. Think. Think. Think. Thinking no fun. "Need brooms. Brooms and bludgers! Fun! Quidditch fun! No play all summer. No fun. Can play when school starts!"
Jumped around, trying to think. Mind not working well. Mind never work well. More fun that way! Jumped around more before finally stopping and reaching around. Trying to get to back pocket. When finally reached, grinned happy like. "wand! I'm Wizard! Old now! Can use magic whenever! Magic fun!"

Jordan giggled, "Dill. You can never be old but yes, old enough to do magic...hmm...what should we do?" She stood up and tilted her head at Dill. Then with a sudden thought she giggled even more. Oh yes. Dillion with blue hair was a very amusing image. And it wouldn't leave her head so here she was, laughing as if she had just heard the funniest joke on Earth and Dill was probably thinking he did something weird. Jordan doubled over, clutching her stomach as she shook from laughter. When she straightened herself and looked at him, tears were flowing from her eyes; "Dill! Turn your hair blue!" She tugged on his hair lightly with another giggle.
Then she tugged on her own brown hair, "oh oh! And turn mine pink! Then we can walk around with our new hair and count how many people stare at us! Maybe we can make a new record!" Jordan was now bubbling with excitment. She was hopping around on one foot, waiting for Dill to change the colours!
