"Why can't I go! I want to go! Bring me!" William cried, waving his fists around angrily. But the squealing of tires interrupted his tirade of cries as the van filled with the lucky orphans pulled away from the drive and out to the concert that they were all attending. Will gazed at the car until it disappeared in the distance. He screamed in frustration before running into the hotels doors. A few people had stared with curiosity and annoyance written on their faces but they continued with their obviously busier lives. Will glared at them each passing moment but said nothing to them when they glanced his way. He felt the need to shout at them, tell them to get back to their own business but kept his mouth sealed shut tight. He strutted through the halls, his head held high despite the embarrassment of his reactions out there. He tried to put it out of his head but the looming thought distracted him entirely. He was stuck at some strange hotel with no where to go but up to his room unless.....
Will pulled on his left shoe quickly and tied it with fumbling fingers. He was going to go and come back as quick as he could so he came back in time for the returning orphans who would brag about their experience. Will grimaced at the mere thought of the little monsters. He had never been that horrible at age nine! He moved foreword swiftly and exited the hotel with apparent ease. Then, he was out on the London streets, all alone but completely happy and excited. The only problem was he had never been to London except to go to Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley and such. He searched the streets with mounting curiosity before hopping aboard a bus that had stopped at a nearby station. People flashed by like water-colors and Will remained in awe of it all. He had never seen so many people in one place. When the bus stopped he stepped outside and gazed around with even more excitement. Restaurants and sporting centers where there along with shopping centers. Will smiled and walked over to the nearest shop, sniffing curiously at the smells wafting through the air. It smelled good enough, so he entered and looked around slowly. No one he really knew was seated in the booths. There was one girl, a girl about his age, sitting there. Will watched her before deciding it was safe to approach. Some people were strange to Will and he would only be unhappy sitting with her. But she had met what he thought was the normal standard so he set out to sit with her. He wasn't sure what to say to her except to be polite.
"Hi. I'm Will Senetta. May I sit at your table?" he asked with anew politeness. His appearance, he had noted, wasn't welcome at the hotel. His hair was rather demolished and his clothes ruffed. He attempted to flatten it as he waited for the girls' answer. He had thought it right to introduce himself before asking to sit at the table so she could name him well. It was what the Orphanage had taught him but he had never used it before now. Not that he ever thought he would.

"Oh! Jordan!" Mara called as she waved out the front door at her younger sister. Jordan turned on her heel to look at the honey brown hair bobbing toward her. She lifted her sunglasses- placing them on top of her head and waited for Mara to speak to her about whatever it was she had stopped her for. Her sister handed her a sketchbook and a charcoal pencil, "Can't draw without these- can you?" Jordan smiled, hugged her sister, and was off to her favourite place to eat. She had needed to get out of the house for some time, and now was the day- and Mara was right, she couldn't draw without the required material.
Few minutes later she was sitting in a booth, and sketching a dream she had the other night. Her cherry soda was next to her and she kept tucking stray strands of hair behind her ears. Her brown hair fell flatly, almost dully, down her shoulders- and her brown eyes pierced the sketchbook as if she wanted it to draw on it's own. Nothing came out. Jordan sighed and fell back in her seat- she couldn't draw like she used to. Nothing inspired her. Her eyes followed the scene of her place. It was all familiar to her. Bernardo working the waitressing staff- and Juan working the chefs. It was all too familiar.
"Hi. I'm Will Senetta. May I sit at your table?" Jordan looked up as someone spoke to her. She smiled kindly and shook her head; "No, uh, please sit. I'm Jordan Lehane. Here," She moved her things that were across the table so he could have a place to eat, "Let me just...move..." She placed everything beside her and looked up. She knew just about everyone in this place, she was a regular there anyway- "I'm, I'm sorry...I haven't seen you around here before...you don't live in London do you? Or at least, haven't been here often enough for me to notice..."

Will looked down at the table with amusement as the girl had spread out all her belongings so it stretched over to the other side. She moved it quickly and he took his spot on the opposite side of her. She introduced herself as a Jordan Lehane. The name sounded vaguely familiar but he didn't let his thoughts wonder as to where he had heard it before. He smiled calmly before shaking his head. "No. I don't live in London or England. I live over in Wales near the border. So close to the border, in fact, that it's often mistaken for being in England. People still argue about it now." he shifted in his seat and began to actually look at the girl. She had brown hair with matching eyes and drawing utensils around her. He smiled and leaned back into the cushioned booth with a impish smile still on his lips. He waved over the waitress and she stood, waiting for his order patiently. "Fries please. And a burger. Cheese." she wrote it down quickly before flouncing off into the crowd to get his order to the cook. Will turned back to Jordan and smiled again.
"I'm guessing you usually come here?" he waved his hand over to her drawings to indicate them. "And draw too?" he asked curiously. He was never much for artwork. Although there was nothing on the slate he did account it as artwork. He realized that he must have interrupted her work. Sighing, he was going to remark on this when the waitress arrived with his food. He nodded and thanked her before plucking out a french fry and popping it into his mouth. It was warm, which meant it had been made at that moment, which was a good sign to Will. He shrugged and took a bite of his burger, swallowing it before speaking up. "Sorry if I interrupted you or anything. I didn't mean to. I mean, you can go ahead and draw again if you want."

Maria came up, took their orders; with a few words of exchanging with Jordan and she was off again. She turned her attention back to Will with a soft smile. She picked up her pencil and started to draw again as she spoke; "Wales, you said? What brings you to dreary ol' London? Nothing exciting, I assume." Jordan looked up at him with a smile that said she thought her home dull. Of course, it wasn't as dull as some other places- she was used to the dullness of a few towns, but nothing compared to the same routine day after day in London. She could go through it in her sleep.
He spoke again and she went back to her drawing. The shading was being finished as she decided to answer; "I come here every wednesday, and friday. It's tradition. This is my favourite place. And everyone knows me, so when they see me come in- they watch me. If I head toward this table, I'm in a nice mood...looking for a friendly conversation. If I head to the other table, the one back by the kitchens- I'm in a mood that means to get away. I'm almost as bad as a Sly..." She caught herself and quickly shut up. Jordan lowered her head and continued to draw. She had run into a few people from Hogwarts before, but one could never be too sure whether the person was magical or muggle.
"I draw. Yes. As often as I can. Some people write, some people have sports, I have a friend who dances, a friend who pulls pranks. I draw. I draw what I see, what I like, what irritates and interesests me. I draw the opportunities that present themselves to me. Basically I draw everything in my path. It's really a relaxing art. Do you do anything that relaxes you?" She raised her eyebrow with another hint of a smile. Normally, Jordan didn't have such good people skills- she was surprising herself today. And she liked it.
Their order came, and the kiwi was set next to her. Jordan smiled at Maria, dashed some sugar on top of the kiwi and began to eat them. Kiwi made Jordan think, it was her brainstorming food. She looked at Will and shook her head, "No. It's alright. I don't mind the company, and I was at a block in my mind on what to draw next anyway. Besides, this place is usually packed like this- I always have this table though. Unless it's more crowded than usual, then I eat in the kitchens."

Will smiled and leaned back. This girl, Jordan, made for good conversation. She seemed happy herself but she wasn't as outspoken as some. Some people, like Will, had no problem talking about their problems and worries to a complete stranger. He cocked his head to the left as Jordan asked what brought him to London. "Well, I don't fancy these dreary streets next to Wales, not that it's cheerier there, eh? I prefer the sunshine and all. What brought me here, though, is the Orphanage. They bring us on a 'field trip' every week or so to someplace utterly boring, usually to see a concert of some sort or go to an Amusement Park. Something like that." he said with a shrug. He acted like he could care less when just a few moments ago he had been screaming at the retreating van. Jordan was speaking again and Will listened actively. When she was finished, Will laughed slightly to himself.
"I guess we can say you're in a good mood then?" he asked with another light laugh. He didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings but he found it funny that someone could interpret what their mood was by which table they picked. He didn't have anything like that to do to him, but he didn't add on to his comment. She then began on all the talents others had. It sounded like she had rather talented friends, and a special talent herself too. He liked the idea of a person who pulled pranks, or Jordan's friend. She sounded like a lively girl. He wasn't surprised that someone else danced. Dance seemed like most girls hobbies at Hogwarts. Although it had surprised Will at first, he had gotten used to it over the years. Why they enjoyed Dance so much, Will had no answer to. He himself couldn't dance at all, mostly because of the Orphanage. They had either forgotten to teach the orphans that or they hadn't really cared. Probably the latter, Will thought with disgust.
"I don't really like to relax. I'm usually out in the wild, enjoying the sunshine and the fresh air that has no of this pollution in it." he waved a hand to the window. London, to him, was a destroyer of fresh and clean air. "I like wild life and animals, preferably horses. I actually have a horse of my own.....well.....sort of. But, that's not relaxing. It's more of being a busy-body." he said with a smile shifting through his lips. He was rather looking foreword to see Luce again, as his thoughts ventured back to the poorly treated pasture. All nine stallions would be waiting for him when he returned, probably munching contentedly on their oats or laying in their straw. The thought of his dear friends brought a smile to his lips. He knew that soon, he would have to leave them for school. He sighed and let his features dull after that bubble of excitement. He nodded at Jordan, who had been speaking without Will realizing it. Trying to focus his thoughts on what she was saying, he caught on toward the end. He took a bite of his burger, chewing and swallowing, before looking back up at Jordan.
"So, you live down the street, a presume? Or, do you travel here by bike or get dropped off....?" he asked with genuine interest. "I wish I lived down town. It wouldn't be so much trouble to get to the train station. Which is usually where I go." he added hastily when he thought he might have gone a tad too far. He gave a small smile at Jordan once more before looking down at her drawings once more. It seemed like she drew with charcoal. Very interesting. "What do you usually draw? People or things like places or houses or animals?"

"Well," Jordan spoke lightly as she tucked some hair behind her ear and smiled, "I'm either in a good mood- or in a horrid mood with a nice quality. I think it's the first idea. If I were in a bad mood, you would know of it. I would be throwing a fit because this kiwi isn't right, it's not ripe just yet. So, therefore- I'm in an exceptional mood." Which was true, she was in an exceptional mood, though if someone happened to walk by with a bad attitude toward her- Jordan wouldn't think of it to not hold back an equally bad attitude. It was Jordan's nature to act how others are acting to her, or to those she was friends with. Some people complained about it, but Jordan ignored it as she always had.
When Will said he didn't like to relax, and then talked about fresh air and horses- Jordan giggled lightly, "That is relaxing. If you are in a mood that if someone talked to you the wrong way, you would kill them- and you went to see your horse, or went for a stroll in a lovely courtyard that isn't polluted- and it calmed you down, that is known as relaxing. Or else if you just do it to keep busy and so not to punch someone's lights out, then as you said- it's just you being a busybody." Jordan shrugged and took another bite of her kiwi, before looking at him with a tilt of her head. She picked up her charcoal, and realisation that she had finished her kiwi, and began to draw the courtyard at Hogwarts. Many times she had drawn the place, so it was embedded in her memory, but so far it was her favourite thing to draw. It was beautiful in the summer and spring, and then it was mystical in the winter and fall.
"I live not to far from here. About 5 minutes down the street. I haven't a car yet, but I will get one in February. Or maybe, well, rather, when I return from school in June. Considering my parents won't have a way to send me a car to school. That would be a very interesting sight though. Me driving a car to the near by village or just around the grounds." Jordan smiled lightly at that as her mind flickered to the image of the professor's yelling at her for being out of order and having a car on Hogwarts grounds. She could just see Professor McGonagalls face. Will had been talking again, so she looked up at listened before answering:
"I draw...whatever." She flipped her sketchbook to the cover and then turned it around to face Will, she flipped open the cover and pointed to the first page, "Dillion Moore. My best-buddy." Next page, "My room at school." Next page; "My mum, and dad and brother and sisters. I have one brother and two sisters. Kyle, Mara, and Beth." She flipped the page again, "A bowl of fruit." Jordan smiled, "The courtyard at school. The eating hall at school. My friends again. A lot of these are from my school, I get bored during classes so I doodle on anything I see- then I enlarge it into one of my many sketchbooks I take there with me."

Will tried to understand what Jordan was saying and chuckled appreciatively at her wordings. It made it more interesting. He, himself, had nothing to show he was in a bad mood except for his facial-expressions, which were a give-away to anyone. Most people were like that. Some could hide their surprise and emotions through a brick wall, like some Slytherins could do. He had respected that, but had never even tried to attempt it himself. So what if people could know what you were thinking? It wouldn't make them think badly of you, so why not? He preferred people to know what he was thinking without him telling them what he thought on the matter. It was easier that way, and no ones feelings got trampled on or hurt badly. Will was cocky and out-going but he always respected others opinions and feelings. He tried to imagine him any other way but couldn't. He was just.....Will. He brought himself back to the present when he noticed Jordan was speaking again. He smiled;
"I guess that means I'm a busy-body and I like to relax. It would relax me to be with my horse or in clean air after having a tough day. It always has and it makes me feel so much better doing so but it would also keep my busy from doing something unacceptable." he shrugged and took a bite of his burger, which was about half-way gone. He had been talking for so long that he hadn't been able to eat his sand which. He also had been listening and it wasn't fit to eat while someone was trying to tell you something. He shook his head and took another bite, reaching the tasty tomato in the middle. It wasn't as good as the tomatoes in the forest behind the Orphanage, or so he thought. Maybe he was convinced this was so because he had grown the tomatoes. Jordan was talking about how she was going to get a car soon and how far she lived. Will smiled and nodded, showing his was listening attentively. He snatched a fry and popped it in his mouth when Jordan was done, swallowing before speaking.
"You are the lucky one. I don't get a car for some time, considering the Orphanage doesn't pay for such things. I have to wait until eighteen; that's when you become of age in the Muggle world. Then I can get a job and hopefully get enough to have my own house and have a car and other things that people with parents get with a snap of their fingers." Will tried to sound normal while saying this, although his eyes must have been green with envy. If he had parents then he would be able to relate to Jordan at this time but without them, he had to do things independently. He had to pay for everything himself and not have that quarter or more loaned by his parents. He tried to think of a happier note to discuss with her and found one quickly. "I'm going to be getting money soon, though. Very soon, I think. This trainer is thinking about taking on my horse and me. I don't know what we're going to become but it'll be something wonderful I'm sure." he said with lighter tones. He was bragging like a little boy about his action figure or what not. He smiled at his own reactions before leaning over to look at Jordan's sketches.
"They're really good," he said when she was finished explaining what each one of them were. Not that he couldn't tell on his own. Will had never seen drawings with charcoal. He smiled at Jordan. "Very good. Excellent." he praised while looking more closely at the pictures, drinking in all the details. When he was done inspecting them, he leaned back in his booth. The only drawings he had ever seen were the small trace things but even those weren't made by the person trying to fill the gaps with pencil. Although he hadn't seen any others, he felt this was good. Very good. He didn't know how to tell Jordan but he was really pleasantly surprised about how well she could draw. "How long have you been doing this? Do you just do it with charcoal or do you paint or use pencils or something else?"
