"Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on!" Hayden shouted impatiently, pushing her mother out of her bedroom. "Calm down!" her mother replied. Hayden was very excited today, because today was her unofficial Sports Day! Once a month, her mother would bring Hayden down to this big sports center, which had everything you needed in order to have a wonderful day of fun! Hayden's 'Sports Day' must've caught on too, because now, you'll see a lot of people down there, on that day, which was usually the first Saturday or Sunday of the month. Most of the people are Hayden's school mates, or neighbors, however, but everybody still has a lot of fun.
Hayden now sat on one of the bar stools, in the kitchen, swinging her legs back and forth impatiently, while her mother did, well everything that needed to be done before they left. "Ian! We're leaving!" Hayden's mother called down the hallway, to Hayden's older brother, that was still probably sitting in his bedroom, still in his pajamas, playing video games, but then again, he rarely did anything else. "Yes!" Hayden whispered to herself triumphantly, as she followed her mother out the door, and into the car.
When they finally reached their destination, Hayden rushed out of the car, her sports bag, in hand. The first place that she ran off to, was the soccer field, which wasn't crowded, which was good, so Hayden would have plenty of room to run around. As Hayden went out, onto the field, her soccer ball now in hand, her mother went to sit up in the bleachers, with the other parents. Hayden smiled as she kicked the ball back and forth, between her feet, and then, kicked it right into the goal. Although, there was no one in the goal, Hayden was still happy with what she had done, and dig almost a little happy little jig!

Terra frowned at Bobby and Steven as the tugged on her sleeve. "What if I don't want to go?" she asked impatiently, pulling her sleeve away from the grasp. Steven's eyes became down cast but Bobby, who was always the whiner, did his puppy dog eyes which Terra could never resist. "Alright! Stop!" Terra told Bobby angrily how smirked. "Yes!" he whispered to Steven. Today, the two fifteen year old boys wanted to go practice their baseball game at the community center. Terra had never been a sport fanatic and hoped never to become one. If somebody dedicated their whole life to sports, Terra would always frown. Sports was a complete waste of time and was not nearly as good as perfect grades and hard work of the mind. Of course, that was why Terra was the smartest in her family of muggles. Only her mother was a witch (besides Terra) and sometimes this would be somewhat hard on the family. But they excepted what Terra was in their stride and had made her respect her family even more. The car pulled into the drive way, announcing that Bobby, Steven and Terra's transportation had arrived. The boys shouted joyously and jumped around like small ten year olds but Terra just walked past them trying to stifle her laughter.
Their destination wasn't far from Terra's home and they reached it within the hour. Bobby and Steven jumped out of the car as soon as they opened the doors. Terra jumped out more slowly, however. Her brothers had all tried to teach their love for sports to her, but had failed miserably. Terra was slim, pale and athletic. It was odd that she didn't share her family's passion but that was what she was like and her family excepted that with ease. She smiled at her brothers before helping them carry the few bats to the diamond. There, Bobby pitched and Steven hit; Terra was chosen as an out-fielder. She slouched sullenly over there making sure to kick some dust on the way. The only problem with playing outfield with Steven and Bobby at bat was that they were very good. Each ball seemed to come out in the out field, causing Terra to have to run after it. She became rather bruised and battered as the game wore on. She kept on missing the pop ups and they happened to land rather hard on her head. That made the young girl feel as if she had a concussion and she left the diamond with a remarkably bad temper and head-ache.
Soccer was the only sport Terra could actually enjoyed. It was simple enough: Just kick the ball, pass it to team mates, block it from enemies and score. Terra smiled as she saw a younger girl score a goal and start dancing around. It reminded Terra of her younger years, but she had been very unlike this small girl. She had been shy and determined to stay out of the view of the people on the bleachers. This girl seemed to want the attention more than anything else. Terra walked toward her in what would be a straight line if she hadn't gotten hit with a baseball. Still keeping a smile on her face, Terra tapped the girl on the shoulder. "Hello. Want to play against each other?" Terra asked kindly, knowing she was about to get the beating of her life. She couldn't play soccer to save herself, much less stop this little girl. She grinned even more and determinedly avoided looking at the bleachers.

Hayden looked up to see a much older, but very nice looking girl. Hayden smiled as the girl asked if Hayden would like to play soccer against the girl. Hayden nodded her head, while still smiling and replied, "Yeah! Sure! I'd love to play with someone! Oh! I'm Hayden, Hayden Hinson, by the way." she said, hoping that the girl would introduce herself as well, so she could call her by her name, and not just 'Umm... Girl'.
She began to kick the soccer ball between her feet again, while looking back up at the girl, and asking, "So, would you like to play one-on-one, or would you like me to be in goal, and you can try to score a goal by me, or we could do it the other way around?" she suggested. She needed to practice being in goalie anyway, since soccer season was starting really soon, and even if she was going to Hogwarts, she was still going to play during vacations, summer, holidays vacations, well except for Christmas of course.
((Sorry for the shortness. Tried to make it as long as I could, but failed pretty badly...))

((I'm soooo sorry it took so long to reply! I've been out of it with Terra lately! )) Terra smiled nervously down at the girl as she glanced back to the stands again. People where watching them a bit curiously now. Terra turned back to the young girl and nodded. "Hello Hayden. I'm Terra Carlson. It's nice to meet you." she grinned before stepping away. Pulling out a hair-band she pulled her hair back in a pony-tail. Grinning foolishly now, Terra returned back to Hayden. "Sorry. I have to put my hair up before I do any sporty stuff. It's just so long." she smiled as she waved back at her red hair. It was midway down her back and slightly wavy too. She smiled warmly at the girl as she suggested what they could do. It sounded like she really knew soccer. Terra struggled to understand it all. "Umm...How about we practice shooting and goalie?" she replied hoping that was what Hayden meant. "I'll be goalie first. I must warn you though that I'm terrible at this." she confessed before walking over to the goal. It looked awfully big. Hayden could probably move much faster then her. She looked like an athletic young girl. Much more athletic then Terra anyway. Her pale complexion proved that she wasn't much of an outdoor person. She smiled again but to herself this time. She was going to make a complete fool of herself in front of the people watching. Getting beaten by such a small girl was going to be embarrassing anyway but being watched at the same time? Not exactly Terra's idea of fun. Then again, she had put herself through this. It was her fault. She made herself take a few deep breaths before she turned around. She was inside the goal now and all she had to do was block the balls from hitting the net behind her. It didn't sound too hard. She wiped her forehead and bent down in a ready position, waiting for the girl to kick the ball her way.

Hayden smiled when Terra said what she wanted to do, and moved over to the goal. "OK!" she said. She picked up her soccer ball, and began to bounce it up and down on her knees. "It's alright if you aren't that good." she told Terra with a smile, as she continued to bounce the ball on her knees. "I'm not so good either, since I haven't played in a while." She dribled the soccer ball between her feet, and kicked it into the goal, by shooting it in on the side of Terra. Hayden shrugged slightly and smiled. "Well, umm... that's one point for me..." she said trying to smile slightly. She didn't want to make Terra feel bad, so she really didn't know how to react quite well.
She went over to the goal, to pick up the ball, and got in front of the goal again, to repeat the process. This time, she decided get farther away from the goal, so she could practice dribling longer, and trying to make a shot, farther away from the goal. She started to drible the ball between her feet again, and this time, she shoot the ball toward the goal, just a little bit outside of the big, goal box, painted on the grass. The ball was rolling toward Terra, and Hayden sighed, a bit dissapointly. This was a very easy goal for Terra to catch, since it wasn't going very fast, and Hayden hd accidently sent it right toward her. She shrugged, however, because Terra wouldn't feel so bad anymore, if she caught the ball.
