Blake had gotten sick of being at home with everyone gone he was all alone. He had already been to Hogsmeade so the closest thing around had to have been London. He only lived a few miles away from London and as he did before he picked up his nimbus 2000 from the shed in the back. He did a few circles around his house before heading to London. He was glad his house was in the middle of no where he could fly around and not have to worry about any muggles seeing him till he got close to London. Blake stayed low to the ground, so just in case no one would see him. He cut threw the fields and just outside of London landed, He then walked with his broom.
Blake knew it would seem odd to the muggles to see someone carrying a broom. He tried to hide it but that didn't work to well as he walked looking for a house he knew very well. His dad had a friend in London and every time Blake came by broom he dropped it off there. He found the house just as normal but the kindly old man he knew wasn't there. Blake saw the alley next to the house and thought about putting it behind the house. He didn't have any other place to put it. He walked to the back of the alley and put it behind the mans house under some old boxes it seemed safe there. Blake walked out the alley thinking about what to do next. He then ran into a girl not paying attention. "Sorry I was just putting my broom away and.." He stopped talking right there realizing what he just said.
OOC: I really have to find a better way then just bumping into people.

"It's okay. We will see each other again." Cassandra gave the muggle boy another kiss on the cheek as she left him in a coffee shop in London. She smiled at Emmanuel one last time as she left the shop. If only he knew. If only he knew that Cassandra was leaving his world to enter a truly remarkable and splendid place filled with magic. Unfortunately, that splendid place was filled with danger at the moment. That was why it was so dangerous to be running around London by herself to see the muggle boy she had been dating. Besides, her mother would kill her if she knew about her little rendezvous with Emmanuel.
Hurrying down the street in her black sandals, the satiny soft material of her khaki skirt rustled. Oh why, did she have to adventure so far to see Emmanuel? He was a long way from Hogsmeade, and she was lucky that Meghan's house was in London. She had arrived there by floo powder that afternoon, and met Emmanuel at a record shop downtown. The night passed by quickly, and she unfortunately had to go back home. Cass giggled to herself. How shocked he would be if he ever found her secret? With her hand firmly on her wand, she passed a dark alley that looked ominous. She stopped hearing a howl, and in that moment, she was knocked into from behind. Cass whipped around and pointed her wand at her assailant. " Declare yourself!" she commanded. The luminous glow of her wand gave her an eire complexion.

Blake was about to ask if she was alright till she pointed a wand at him. Blake was also a little in shock first because he expected someone to be mad but not pull out a wand and second because she did pull out a wand. Blake finally got over the shock and tried to figure out what to say. "I'm Blake Conners and I come in peace." He said quoting old Muggle space movies. Blake saw Muggle movies sometimes and they were very interesting. " Well as I can see your not a Muggle." Blake said one of his hands was next to his pocket where his wand was just incase he needed to get it out in a hurry.
"Now if you don't mind, I'm not going to attack you and I hope your not going to attack me so you can lower your wand." He said with a smile hoping it wasn't a death eater which he highly doubted it was. "Also that light is going to draw the muggles and that’s not good." He said looking around just to see if there was any muggles around.

Cassandra's eyes narrowed as she looked at the boy. Surmising him, he definetly wasn't a deat eater. Cass put out her wand without a word, a trick that Craig had taught her, and stowed it away. " I'm sorry. You can't be too careful these days, and I heard broom and then someone crashed behind me. Sorry," Cass held out her hand. " I"m Cassandra Blackfire, or Logton, depending on which rumor you heard." She smiled. " I'm pretty sure I've seen you around the common room, but last year I was a bit busy with my own personal drama to meet everybody."
" So, what are you doing in London this late at night? I mean, I know I was up to no good visiting my boyfriend." She let a slow smile cross her lips. "Since he is a muggle, I couldn't really let him walk me home for protection, you know?"

Blake was a little shock at now nice she seemed to be he was still expecting a fight or something. "I guess that’s what I deserve, sooner or later I was bound to run into someone who would pull a wand out at me." Blake said laughing moving his hand away from his pocket where his wand was. After a which look around, no muggles had seen the light. "I haven't heard any rumors." He said not really knowing what she was talking about rumors he didn't really pay attention to what some people said some times he was probably day dreaming when someone told him something. Then he heard her ask why he was out.
"Well I kind of got bored at home everyone felt on some trip for the ministry and they toke my grandma, so I was left home alone." Blake said thinking back a second. " They didn't even tell me why they had to leave." He thought to himself, then she explained why she was out so late. "Well he would be able to stop a Muggle thief or something." He said with a smile.

Cass giggled. " A muggle thief? That is the least of my worries. I don't think he could even stop a muggle thief. You see, his a lover, not a fighter." She gave the boy another smile. " I'm going to have to break up with him soon. I like him and all, but it won't work between us. I have to keep to many secrets." When Blake mentioned he had been left home alone, Cassandra sympathized. " I completely understand about being left home alone. Mother spends a lot of time going to charity events and things that are incredibly boring. You know, no place where a teenager should be. In fact, I will be surprised if she even realizes I left tonight."
Looking around the deserted street, she saw lights coming out of window across the street. Seeing diners talking over cups of coffee, she began to walk across the street. Motioning for Black to follow, she said, " Come on. Let's get some caffeine. I've got a couple of hours before I should be home, and besides, we can all the drama in our world. Oh, and I would hide that broom well. Most muggles aren't used to seeing racing brooms for Quidditch." She gave Blake another smile as she continued to cross the street.

"Yeah it would seem kind of odd to start getting letters from someone by an owl." He said smiling then she said she understood being home alone. "Yeah I've to a few of those charity events and your right someone should really spike there drinks." He said laughing just the thought of rich people in a group drunk. Well my parents went off on some business trip for the ministry. They didn't even tell me what it was about before they left." He said thinking about what they could be doing. "So for all I know that could be on a little island somewhere drinking on the beach." Blake said laughing a bit knowing his parents wouldn't leave him alone just to do that.
He followed her a crossed the street and listened to what she said then laughed. "Well if I just hid it with other brooms they wouldn't notice it at all." He said laughing, He finally got to the other side of the road. "Caffeine is something I need, you know what they say Never fly sleepy or drunk but that’s another matter." He said laughing.

Cassandra pushed open the door to the little shop and the smells of hot cappuchino and expresso filled the air. " Drunk while flying? What are you fifteen? You act like you've had a lot of experience doing that. Of course, I only got my own broom last year as a present because I made the house team. I haven't gotten to ride it much outside my school because Mom is worried over the recent goings on." Cass went to the bar and ordered her a stiff mocha expresso, and then she took a seat in the far corner of the shop.
When Blake joined her, she continued their conversation. " I'm really kind of worried about this coming semester. The rumors that are going around, Blake. Oh, and just some of the attacks. If we can't be safe in Diagon Alley, can we really be safe at Hogwarts?" Cass took a sip at her drink. " I mean, I feel nearly invincible there. I survived a Death Eater attack there, but do I really want to take my chances in another one? No, I don't." Cass answered her own question as she took another drink. " I'm just afraid that it won't be able to stay open. You know, with so many families threatening to keep their kids at home."

Blake just smiled then followed her in threw the door. "No not me, we had this party once at my house my dad got drunk and tried to ride my broom." Blake just started laughing. "Only got a few feet in the air before he hit the wall of the house. Almost broke my broom too." As soon as she moved away from the counter with her drink he ordered a plain coffee, after he got his coffee he went to the chair right next to Cassandra's chair. He then listened to what she had to say about the attacks and about going back to school. "It should be safer then before I hope, Last year a lot of people were thinking that no Death eater could get into Hogwarts. now that they know it's possible, everyone will be on guard." He said sipping some more of his coffee.
Then Blake thought about what she said about Hogwarts not going to be able to stay open. "I'm sure there will be enough people going to Hogwarts to keep it open. Maybe a few of them will stay home but there will be enough to keep it open for sure." He said hoping he was right.

Cass sipped her coffee once again, lost in deep thought. This was not the first time that Hogwarts had the threat of closing. This was just another time over its century long history. " Well, this is not the first time that this had been brought up. I mean, I'm just afraid that this might be the last straw. It's dangerous enough to send your children to a wizarding school. Parents do expect the occasional accident, and do expect to receive owls home explaining how their child had to be in the hospital wing for a broken bone. However, the threat of death is an entirely different matter. My mother was livid for days after the attack in July. I had a huge gash in my head for several weeks, and that has made my mother incredibly jumpy." Cass bit her own lip. Of course, she was leaving out the part how her Uncle was probably out to kill her whole family.
Turning her green eyes on Blake, she smiled. " I don't want Hogwarts to close. I love the school, and I found my true place there. I just couldn't believe it when I found out. You know, me, a wizard." Cass shut up quickly, realizing she had a little too information out. This boy didn't know her personal drama, and was probably not to interested in it. She smiled embarrassedly.

Blake just sat there thinking about what she said. It was true what she said and after the attacks his mom and dad had both almost gone crazy along with his grandma who was already crazy. She had made it even worse but you couldn't blame her. "I know what you mean after the attack at Hogwarts they both went crazy and just when they started to calm down, Diagon alley gets attacked." Blake said Taking another sip of coffee then putting it down. " It also doesn't help that my grandma is screaming about Death Eaters and werewolf’s around every corner." Blake said thinking about all the times this had happened. His grandma had been an Auror so she had seen some danger in her life.
"Yeah I hope it doesn't close to." He said looking down at his drink. " Or I would be stuck at home all year and this summer has been going by so slow." He said with a small smile trying not to think about it Hogwarts closing. "How’s the summer been for you?" He said trying to get on a better subject.

Cass raised her eyebrows as she waved over a waitress. " Two pieces of cheesecake please." The woman walked away with the order. Cass turned back to Blake, " An Auror? It must of been fun hearing all the stories she undoubtedly has. My mother doesn't really have any good stories from the wizarding world, and my father's dead." Cass thanked the waitress as she put a piece of cheesecake in front of her and Blake. " Not to be rude, but have you always lived as a wizard? Well, what I mean is, have you always known?"
Cass picked up her fork and sliced it into the cake. " I've had an okay summer, I guess. I did some shopping, and I got to France for a little while. It's a beautiful country, by the way. My family moved into a new house in Hogsmeade which is very nice. My old house was falling apart with plaster falling off the walls and all. I was living in Birmingham, and then my mother decided she wanted to move to a wizarding community. Then, the attack on Diagon Alley happened and she got really nervous about it."

"If only it was that simple." Blake said with an odd smiling thinking for a second. "After all the years of being an Auror it got the best of her in her old age." He toke another sip of coffee then started to talk again.” The stories are nice but they sometimes cause her to have flashbacks which then she goes crazy but most of the time she's your normal everyday kind grandma." He said smiling thinking about how nice she was on those days. Then the waitress brought two pieces of cake over. Then she asked if he always knew he was a wizard. "Well my whole family has been along line of witches and wizards. I never really showed any signs of magically powers as a kid but I've always lived as part of the magical world." He said taking a bit out of the cake.
Blake then listened to her talk about how her summer had been and how she moved to Hogsmeade. "I wish I could live in a place like that but where I live isn't that bad." He said taking another bit of cake. " I live just a few miles away from London, It's nice but there nothing but fields out there so I have to come to London to meet some people." He said wondering if his broom was ok, which he was sure it was.

" That must of been really nice. I've always wanted to know what it would be like to grow up in a normal wizarding family. I mean, I kind of grew up in a wizarding but it was far from normal." Cass finished the piece of cheesecake. She then licked her fork clean and placed it on the saucer. " I never knew my grandparents. I don't even know if they are alive or dead. I guess that would be a question for my cousin."
" Really? Outside of London? That must be really cool." Cass commented on Blake's home. " It would be really cool to live right outside the city. I used to live in Birmingham which is mostly a muggle industrial city. It was always smoggy, and it was hard to breathe a lot. It must boggles me how they can pollute their air like they do. I wish I had lived outside of the city. You know, you kind of get the best of both worlds. The city is available for a visit but you live far enough away for some solitude." Cass snickered a little when Blake mentioned how he wished he lived somewhere like Hogsmeade. " Yeah, its great until you realize your mother is forever down the road even when you are in school."

"Well I never really got to know any other parts of my family besides my grandma and my parents." He said looking at his coffee. "I got a few cousins in America and an uncle doing something in Africa but besides that I don't know any others." Blake said then just laughed when she talked about her mom in Hogsmeade. "Well everything has it's downside like living outside London." He said finishing off his cake. " There is nothing out there, yes the solitude is nice but since the attacks happened I can't leave my house on broom to go to London anymore. I was only able to get here because no one was home besides me." He said thinking for a second.
"Well as for the muggles they do mess up a lot of things but they do have to get things done without magic and they have come up with some nice things even if they cause a big mess in doing so." He said drinking the last bit of coffee he had then putting the cup down. "Well that will keep me awake for sometime." He said smiling.

" I should hope that will keep you awake!" Cass mocked surprise. " Is my conversation that boring?" Cass drank the rest of her coffee in one great big giant gulp. "Well, if that is the case. I guess we should liven things up a bit." Getting up, she grabbed Blake's hand and led him out of the coffee shop. " My friend Meloeny is at home, and she always has something fantastic to do. She has such amazing parties. In fact, I think she is having a little get together tonight."
Walking up the street, she finally stopped in front of a squat, gray house that had a small garden in the front. She knocked on the door and a younger girl with brunette hair and great big blue eyes opened the door. " Meloeny!" Cass threw her arms around the girl as the two were let in. " Blake. This is my friend Meloeny. She actually goes to the Salem Witches Institute." The two Gryffindors were led to a back room where there were about twenty people sitting around, talking and drinking butterbeer. " I hope you don't mind. I don't know half of these people, but I think it would be great to make some new friends." Cass gave one of her winning smiles to Blake.

Blake was about to say that’s not what he meant to say but it was to late she was already pulling him out of the coffee shop and up the street by his hand. Then she talked about her friend and how she was having a party or get together tonight. "Well how lucky for us." He said laughing she was still pulling him but he had started walking faster now. They soon reached a grey house and Cassandra knocked on the door. Soon a girl answered the door and Cassandra hugged her then they both walked in. As she introduced Maloney Blake just smiled. "Hi." He said after she was done introducing her. He could have said his name be she already did.
They soon were led into a backroom that was full of people. "Well I bet I know less people here then you do." He said smiling back. Blake sat down on one of the chairs nearby looking around. It was true what he said, he didn't know anyone here.
