"What a beautiful day!" Piper thought to herself. She was standing outside her house, while a light breeze blew her hair. " I think I'll go for a jog through the park." Piper thought. She frequently took jogs through the park to keep in shape for gymnastics.
After running a few laps through the park Piper decided to rest on a bench. She took a sip of her water while she rested. "Why do I do this to myself?" She thought. She was rather tired now.

James' mum was visiting her midwife today in Hogsmeade, and his dad was at work, as usual. His older sister Aubree was with one of her friends in Scotland for the weekend, so here he was alone, in Hogsmeade. He hadn't wanted to stick around while his mum was talking about babies and cooing over the twins with the older witch and her daughter.
He had already stopped by the local pub and had some butter beer, gone to Honeydukes and Zonkos. All that was left was the park.
He wandered through it at a slow pace as he sucked on one of the sugar quills from his bag of sweets. When he looked up, he noticed one of his friends from school on the bench, panting rather heavily.
"Hey, Piper," he said with a smile. It was nice to actually see someone he knew, as he had spent most of the summer with family. "Have a good run?"

"Hey James!" Piper said. "I did but man am I tired." Piper laughed. "I really need to learn when to stop." Piper said still laughing. Piper was a very happy person and laughed even when she was in pain.
"So what brings you to the park today?" Piper asked. She was glad he was there. It was better to rest with a friend than a complete stranger.

James smiled as he sat down on the ground, tucking his long legs up to his chest. He wasn't quite used to them yet, as it seemed he had sprung up over night.
So what brings you to the park today?" asked Piper curiously.
James wasn't sure how to reply. He'd left the house in order to escape talking about all the female things that his mum and her midwife discussed. "Er..." he stammered, "My mum and the twins have an appointment, and I didn't feel like staying."
He ran a hand through his messy hair and looked down at his feet. "I've got a while though, mum said they wouldn't be done until two or three."
Pulling a small white paper sack out of his pocket, he offered a chocolate frog to Piper, "If you get Ptolemy, I'll trade you," he said as he unwrapped his own frog.
It leaped up high and James snatched it out of the air, then bit one of its legs off. He quickly pulled the card out of the bag and looked it over, "Got Godric Gryffindor... I have about five of him, do you collect them?"
