Aedan liked shopping in London. In fact it was one of his favorite places to shop. However, he did not like searching for his sister because she had once again wandered away from Preston. He didn't blame his sister. He knew she just could not help it sometimes that something would catch her attention and she would have to abandon whomever she was with. No, Aedan blamed Preston. His entire purpose was to watch Mirabel and make sure she stayed out of trouble. Grandmother was always so worried some one would snatch her for the sole purpose of getting to the Maye fortune. If Preston was such an incompetent fool why couldn't Grandmother just hire someone new? Who cares if Mirabel likes her new guard or not as long as he kept her in sight? Aedan wondered to himself for the hundredth time.
Since the attack in Diagon Alley resulting in Mirabel being hurt Aedan's grandmother had upped security around Mirabel, but as always Mirabel was able to elude all of her guards, which included Preston and his younger brother Stewart. Deciding his sister could wait Aedan entered the next shop.
Browsing through the muggle clothing he looked for something that might interest him. Not that he needed anymore clothes, but he enjoyed looking nonetheless. As he was the only customer in the store he took his time until he heard the bell over the door ring as a new person entered. Hoping that it might be his sister he turned and saw a girl a few years older than him enter. She looked familiar and he knew she was in Gryffindor, but not much else.

Today? Today was the most boring of Amelia's summer vacation so far. As usual, she woke up at around noon, yawning, still extrodinarily tired because of her late night. Having gone to sleep at about 4 in the morning after a night of surfing the internet in a quiet living room, the two puppies having finally gone to sleep. After she woke up, she spent about a half an hour on the computer and then panicked. Today was the day she was sopposed to go Birthday shopping with her Step mom's mother, sort of a step grandma. She gasped, closing down the computer and rushed to her bedroom. A short shower, hurried on make-up, hastilly dressing in a pair of black pin-stripped pants and her favorite black and pink shirt. Rebel Rebel written across the front. She had slipped on her black and pink 'Gallas' skater shoes and then sat down, awaiting her grandmother's knock on the front door.
Half an hour later, she was in her grandmother's white car, speeding off down the street toward the Muggle Mall of London. They parked between a red van and a small blue car. They exited the car and soon they were in the midst of a throng of people heading through the mall, shops on either side of them. Amelia pointed to a clothing store and her grandmother followed the blonde inside. Amelia instantly looked at all black shirts and black pants, her favorite colour. She sighed, giving up on the shirts and walked to the men's pants. She liked how men's pants felt... more baggy and definatly more comfortable.
She touched a pair of blue baggy pants and tilted her head, wondering if she should buy them. Suddenly an impulse that someone were watching her made her turn and look about the store. There was only one other person other than the workers who stood by the cash register and her grandmother. It was a boy. He was younger for sure... and looked strangely familiar. After all the wizards and witches from Hogwarts she had met while in this very same mall, it would not be surprising to see another student from Hogwarts. She bit her lips, wondering if she should ask him if he did indeed go to Hogwarts. If he was a Muggle, he would mearily get confused and think she were crazy, leaving her alone and never thinking of it again. But if he was indeed a wizard from Hogwarts... then she could talk to him like the others, maybe get a new friend.
She turned back to the pair of pants she was looking at then shrugged to herself, deciding to go and say hi. She walked over to him and leaned in on the clothes rack he stood in front of, a confused look on her face. She motioned to him.
"You look familiar... do I know you?" she asked, her voice friendly, her eyes even more friendly.

Aedan returned the girl's smile. "I think we may know each other from school. We're in the same house I believe. My name is Aedan Meletti. I'm a third year." Searching for something else to say he noticed the jeans she had been looking at. "Shopping for fun?" he asked. He handed over the muggle money he owed the cashier as the woman bagged his purchases.
His mind wandered back to his sister again. He checked his watch noting that an hour had already passed and he had not seen her.
"You wouldn't by any chance happened to have seen my younger sister Mirabel? She's really short, has brown hair and grayish looking eyes." he asked hoping the girl may have passed Mirabel at sometime.

Amelia nodded at the boy. He did go to Hogwarts. And a third year in Gryffindor. She was about to say so when he checked his watch and asked about his sister. She thought a moment and nodded, remembering to have seen a girl by the food court.
"Yeah, I saw her." she said, "It was over by the food court," she said, pointing.
((OOC: that is extremely short, but I'm a bit busy...))

Aedan sighed with relief. At least she was still in the mall. He'd find her later.
"So what year are you in?" he asked grabbing the bag from the counter, "Are you looking forward to the term beginning?" He wondered if there was anything else he felt like puchasing for the day and decided there was nothing he needed or wanted. All of his school supplies were tucked away safely in his trunk and he had enough clothes. Although now that the girl had mentioned the food court he was a bit hungry.
"I'm Aedan Meletti by the way. I think I'm going to grab a bite to eat. Would you like to join me?" he asked.

Amelia felt a bit bored and was looking around at all the clothes about her. When he asked her year she snapped to attention and looked at him, "Fifth year Gryffindor, baby!" she loved how she sounded so proud. She looked at a few pants hungry, but knew her grandmother wouldn't buy her the black baggy pants. She looked back at Aeden when he asked to go to the food court and introduced himself. She smiled.
"I need to look at a few pairs of pants first, but I would be happy to go eat something with you Aeden!" she said friendly and turning to her grandma.
A little while longer, a bag of freshly bought pants in a plastic bag in her right hand. She patted Aeden on the back and motioned with her head to say she was ready.
"Shall we?" she asked.
