Dana glanced at her watch and smiled seeing that in a minute the portal key that would bring Jazz to France would arrive. The two girls had talked about it and agreed that Jazz would teach Dana how to ride and Dana would teach her how to dance. Jazz was coming over for a few days now and Dana just the way how to make learning easier for her. A loud beep announced the arrival of the portal key and Dana jumped up and hugged her friend happily: “Hey, hope the trip wasn’t too bad. Just one more portal key and we’ll be in Italy.” Dana let Jazz took hold of a big rather old-style silver key and a few moments ago they were off again landing in the middle of paved courtyard.
Looking around the courtyard Dana smiled at the middle-aged butler bowing to them. “Ah, Boyd it’s a pleasure. Do you know where Kris is?” “Sir is in the library, miss, but we didn’t know you’d be bringing company,” the butler answered while Dana just shrugged and smirked: “Kris won’t mind me bringing someone. Take our things in will you? And put Jasmine’s things into the room next to mine, will you?” Boyd bowed and a moment later the things were picked up by two house-elves and taken away. Dana turned to Jazz and shrugged towards her friend: “Hope you don’t mind. It’s awfully hard to dance alone and I admit that I can’t dance the guys part. Kris can and as a favour for me he will. Besides he knows how not to step on your toes. Besides you get to admire the mountains and the views around here. And I assure you that the food and rooms are first class,” Dana turned and glanced at the white castle towers and shrugged, “Personally I rather like Kris’s mansion too. It has belonged to his family for a couple of centuries I think. Come on, let’s go and find him.”
Dana entered the castle glancing around the grand Entrance Hall. With her heels clicking on the mosaic floor Dana passed the room quickly and moved to the next room where her foot-steps on stairs were muffled by a red carpet with a brown and black pattern on it. On the second floor Dana took down the left hallway and in the next hall took the stairs up for two more floors. Turning to the hallway leading right Dana followed nodding in greeting to a maid who curtsied upon seeing them and made a left turn only to move up to fourth floor from yet an other stair-case. “The sodding castle is big, but if you get lost here alone just holler for Madie, Clop, Coln, Korri, Hayn or Astel. One of tem will react even if you just holler for a house-elf too. The library is on this floor though. Kris has an amazing selection of books on all topics. Even a few muggle ones – philosophers, eh, you’ll see,” Dana told Jazz before freezing as two dogs rushed out of an open oak door with furious growls.
“Devil! Shadow!” Dana reprimanded staring at the dogs, “Don’t worry they don’t bite.” Dana stared at the dogs. For Kris they would attack just anyone. “I think.” Shaking her head Dana took hold of Jazz’s hand and pulled her along into the library that stretched for two stories and had numerous stacks of books everywhere. Kris didn’t appear to be reading in the armchairs in front of the fireplace, even though no fire was lit right now. Knowing that the dogs were never far from Kris when he was at home here Dana hollered for him: “Kris, get here and make your dogs behave!” Looking at Jazz Dana offered an encouraging smile: “You can wander out to the stables later. Kris has 7 purebreed horses down there. You’ll get used to the castle rather quickly. And despite all his grumblings Kris won’t bite but he’ll be fantastic aid during your dance-lessons. His ballroom will help too.”

Jasmine walked the long isles of stalls still in her black riding pants and a old worn out tee shirt. Her muck boots made a flopping sound on the cement ground as she came up to one of the stalls at the very end of isle. Wildfire let out a loud nicker and pushed his head lightly toward her making Jasmine back up a few feet away. "Aw boy I'm going to miss you. Ashleigh is going to take care of you while I'm gone. I know its only for two days but two days without you is like two years." Jasmine said stroking him gently with a smile on her face. Wildfire was a 17.hand ex race horse and only at the age of six. A fine jumper but never accepted a jump higher than 3 foot. He was the most beautiful horse in the barn. His mussels stood out and his neck always arched gracefully. A long blaze was running down his forehead and two white socks on his hind legs. He let out another litt nicker and nudged her pocket looking for a treat. Jasmine let out a little laugh and took out the carrot breaking it in half and feeding it to him one at a time. She was so lucky to have a horse such as Wildfire. Her parents couldn't even keep up with riding lessons but Ted Henry let Jasmine have Wildfire as he only seemed to respond to her attention for free. But she still had to work around the stables keeping her keep and helping the other horses with morning breeze.
Giving Wildfire one last pat, Jasmine swung her shoulder over her shoulder and walked off petting Star on the way out. A 15.3 hand buckskin gelding. He was the first horse that Jasmine ever jumped on and could trust him with her life. It will be the horse Dana will learn how to ride on him. "Bye boy.." Jasmine said giving him a carrot too and walking off back home but stopped as a she heard her name being called. Taking a glance over her shoulder Jasmine saw her father with a new filly walking up to her. "Honey are you leaving? Your going to be late. But don't leave without saying good-bye." he said with one of his smile bending down to kiss her on her forehead. "I know Ted had me clean out all the brushes and sweep out the stables. I just had to say good bye to Wildfire and Star. I will miss you." Jasmine said with a smile giving him a hug and a pat on the horses neck. "How was she today?" she asked rubbing the horse behind the ears as the filly dropped her head enjoying it. "She was alright. Mr. Henry isn't happy but you can never please the man. You better get going." he said with a smile watching Jasmine run off toward the direction of the house.
Running up the short driveway toward the two story home. Jasmine ran through the door and up the stairs to take a quick shower. After she was done Jasmine came out of the bathroom in her best clothes she owned. A long black skirt that flowed when she turned and a white tank top. Her hair was now dried and was up half and half and she didn't wear any make up. Jasmine was a lucky girl and to not have to wear things. Her face was naturally pretty and clear with her lips a light pink shade. "Mom! Where is my other pair of riding pants!" Jasmine called down the stairs standing on one foot trying to put on a pair of black high helled shoes. "In your closet hanging up dear. You better hurry don't want them waiting." she called from the stairs limping away. Her mother had been in a car accident when she turned eleven just before her letter. Dashing toward her room Jasmine tore open her closet and took out a nice pair of tan riding pants and a white shirt that zipped up along with a pair of riding boots. Jasmine didn't know if she would need them but it was also good to bring them along. Putting two pairs of jeans, one shirt and another tank top Jasmine zipped up her bag and looked over toward snuggles and Wildfire stuffed animals. Taking both of them she set them inside another bag with her toothbrush and hair things.
"Jasmine are you ready yet! The portal key is waiting and nobody is looking!" called Natale from the kitchen. "One second!" she yelled back running out of her blue colored room and down the stairs toward the kitchen breathing hard. "Ready!" Jasmine called out in between breaths as her mother put a little sandwich in her bag and chips along with a water. "You haven't eaten lunch dear! You would be starving. Now have a good time and write." Natalie said kissing her daughter on the forehead limping off toward her studio to paint. "Miss you too mom! See you in two days. Tell Jeremy and Shane not to go in my room or Belle will have a fit." Jasmine called before turning the key numb and appearing in a fine looking room of the Coran Mansion in France. "I'm so sorry I'm late! Ted Henry gave me numberless chores. Wait were going to Italy?" Jasmine said hugging her friend back reposting her bags. Sighing Jasmine turned yet another portal key and appeared in a glorious court yard.
Nearly dropping her bags at the beauty Jasmine eyes looked like they would be popping out of their sockets. This place was huge! Almost as big as Hogwarts. She than was startled as someone bowed before them. A middle aged butler. "Oh my goodness." Jasmine called out as her took her bags to a room. "Dana this place.....Is....is huge!" Dana than began to talk about Kris and her dancing with him. "Hold up one moment. Were at Kris's house? I mean castle." Jasmine asked following Dana close behind as they went through several rooms up stairs but stopped as Dana mentioned being lost and calling a butler. "Uh.....I most surely will. It's thousand size my home." Jasmine said following behind her but stopping as two dogs came up to them. Jasmine eyes grew as Dana took her hand and enter and huge library with many books. Jasmine would have to ask him if she could take a look and read. Maybe get about twenty books done or so. "I would love to ride. Would you come? I was planing to start you out on Star. He may be old but can get you over some jumps and continue on trail rides." Jasmine said waiting while looking around in a shock state.

Kris was lounging in his library and finishing up on a book about dragons. He had dressed with casual ease today – a pair of black jeans and a dark-green T-shirt with a black ribbon holding his hair back in a pony-tail. Devil and Shadow – his huskie and Alaskan malamute were both laying on the carpet at his feet. Dana would be coming over later as a hurried phone-call had told Kris even though that had been the only information that had reached Kris’s ears before the girl had thrown the phone away and rushed off to somewhere. Kris was a bit amused by this, but had told for Dana’s room to be prepared in the castle and then retreated to the library to catch up on some reading while he waited.
Concentrating on the words before him Kris finished the book a little alter and stood. Stretching for a moment Kris walked up the spiraling staircase to the second story of the library to put this book away and get a new one. He heard Devil and Shadow start growling and a glance at his watch affirmed that it was time to for Dana to have arrived. Hearing the dogs still continue growling Kris arched a curious eye-brow. They wouldn’t growl at just Dana, so she must have brought someone along. A few moments later Dana hollered for him before two voices started a conversation.
Turning and leaving without a new book Kris walked down the spiral staircase. A snap of his fingers and the dogs silenced immediately and hurried to either side of Kris. “I didn’t know you were bringing company, Dana,” Kris drawled out lazily as he approached and dropped a quick friendly kiss on Dana’s forehead, ”Knowing your feeding habits I told Maribella to fix you a quick lunch. There should be enough for two. CLOP!” A moment later a bowing house-elf came to view and Krisodded towards Jasmine, ”Take her things to the Peophin room. That way she’ll hopefully bother her when she needs something.” The house-elf nodded and disappeared as Kris turned back to Dana: ”My ballroom and dancing lessons? Do share your plan. As for the horses – you finally decided to learn to ride? Something more than me dragging a practically sleeping horse around as you sit on it’s back with a proud face?”
Kris’s eyes took the two girls in. Jasmine was a half-blood as Kris faintly remembered from somewhere and Dana’s friend, so he would tolerate her being in his mansion for a few days. Upon hearing Dana’s explanation Kris arched an eye-brow towards her: “And when exactly did I agree to this plan? I’ll see you later – I have to go and check on Essaul anyway. Don’t destroy my home.” Turning Kris left with devil and Shadow walking on both sides of him at his heel.

Dana laughed at Jazz’s shock and placed a friendly arm around her shoulder: “Don’t worry, it’s a lot smaller than Hogwarts. It should have about 150 rooms I think? Plus the wine-cellar, kitchen, different storage rooms and servants rooms. You’ll see it. The sight is still breath-taking though. And yup, Kris owns this place and lives here. He inherited it after his fathers’ death when he was 10 so that pretty much is the reason why’s that spoiled,” Dana told Jazz friendlily. “Join on a riding trip with Kris? Eh, only if you walk. The hillsides are rather angular somewhere and Kris’s horses are moody. Besides the only one I would agree to ride a bit quicker is due to a foal soon so I can’t ride her. Star sounds good though,” Dana replied to Jazz when the dogs silenced suddenly showing that Kris had entered the room.
Kris was here and Dana let him kiss her forehead in greeting smiling as Kris decided on Jazz’s room. Done with blue and light wood and mainly it was a rather nice room. Jazz might feel at home there. “Yes, Jazz is going to teach me to ride and you are going to help me teach her to dance. And everyone are happy,” Dana told Kris. He didn’t exactly agree to it, but didn’t argue too much either, so Dana just smiled at him and nodded for thanks before sticking her tongue out towards Kris as he talked about her riding experience. Horses back was high! Dana didn’t want to storm around that high on the ground with her feet not touching the ground. She had been scared as it was! Kris left however and Dana turned back to Jazz with a smile.
“Good, that’s settled. Dancing lesson tomorrow morning. After breakfast. As for now – let’s go and see what Maribelle had fixed together. I haven’t had lunch yet, so I’m starving,” Dana took hold of Jazz’s arm friendly and pulled her along, “During that time you can decide what you want to do first. Go to the small village down the hill, get a tour around the castle, see your room – it’s right next door to mine – or go see the stables? All your decision. Kris has a pool too, but if you want to go swimming then I’d rather suggest the sea. It’s not that far away. And inside the castle and on the courtyard you can use magic – Kris has a special agreement with the ministry about it – once you leave through the outer gate, put your wand away.
Dragging Jazz along Dana entered the small dining room where the table was meant for only 6 persons. Foods were already served as well as glasses and plates for two persons. Inhaling the smell Dana took a seat and helped herself to some scrambled eggs and bacon deciding to leave pancakes for later. Pouring herself a cup of milk and a cup of apple juice Dana prepared a sandwich with cheese for herself and started eating while nodding for Jazz to take a seat as well: “Come on, I assure you that the foods are great. Maribelle is a good cook. And you still haven’t told me what you want to do after this.”

Jasmine's hazel eyes were growing in fear of the two dogs growls. Her dogs at home were quite friendly to everyone. Well expect for Pongo. He would growl if he felt something wrong with the person. Stepping behind Dana Jasmine just stared blankly as the dog quiet down at the sound of snapping fingers. Fixing her gazes from the animals to Kris Jasmine tired not to let a smirk come across. She had to be nice since he didn't seem to mind about her staying. Well Dana was here and Kris would do anything for his cousin. Kris than started to yell for a house elf named clop. Just then one came to view wearing pant and a blouse looking rather classy. He bowed before them and Jasmine just stared. She never met a house elf. They never came near her ad she dared not adventure off into the kitchens. Kris told him to send her things to a room and come when she needed help. "That's not nessicarly.." Jasmine said quietly as the two cousins began to talk about dance lessons. Jasmine didn't know Kris all that well to be doing but if Dana makes her do Tango or Salsa she will put up a bit of an augment but than give him. Dana always had that affect on her.
A few minutes had passed when Kris left to check up on a horse. A smile came to her face as she would love to visit the horses in the stables but not in these clothes she wont. Turning over to Dana Jasmine raised and eyebrow at her friend, "I don't know if Kris would take me with him. I sure will get lost on lands such as this. But when you come visit next time I will give you your first lesson on Star. He isn't here now back at Townsend Acres. You will love him. The gentlest creature on earth and down to earth." Jasmine told her friend smiling slightly at the thought of Star. She learned how to ride on him and he was the one who gave her the courage to jump something higher each lesson. "Dance lesson tomorrow morning. Hmm...I will try to make it down to breakfast if I can find it but I will call another to help me find my way." she said letting Dana tug at her arm lightly toward the dining room for lunch.
The dinning room was much larger than her own back at home. Looking down Jasmine saw oak wooden flours and a carpets in the middle of the room with a floral design. Dana took a seat at the polished and shinning table with plates and glasses set out. Hestialy Jasmine took a seat next to her looking around. Jasmine stomach began to do flip flop motions. This was all new to her. At home she would have to make her food and was so much smaller and less expensive looking. "My mom packed me a lunch but the elf took my bags away..." Jasmine said watching Dana pour herself a glass of milk and apple juice. Taking a pitcher of water Jasmine filled one of the glasses at the table while looking over at the pancakes. It was like a bunch and a tea party. At a young age Jasmine would always have little tea parties with her stuffed animals. But people grow out of those things. Taking a bite of the pancakes her mouth filled with a taste of delight. "This is very good. Better than my moms. But could I go see my room first. I should change if I want to go riding. But after that going to the sea and just relaxing sounds nice. I been working so hard lately need to take some time off." Jasmine told her find taking a sip of water before digging in.

Dana swallowed and took a sip of milk before smiling at Jazz: “It’s Kris. My own sweet cuddly brother. Well, I wouldn’t suggest you using those words, but you get my point. If you can handle his horses – and I’m sure you can – then I think he might very well take you out for a quick run with them. You can pretty much ride anyone besides Winddnacer – he only tolerates Kris on his back – Essaul is carrying a foal. I don’t know about Bandos either – he had a minor leg injury a little while ago. Kris is magical with the animals around here. Just enjoy the ride and the scenery. Star however sounds as a perfect horse for me to start learning. I need someone calm who could bare with me.”
Finishing off her eggs and bacon Dana attacked the pancakes enjoying the absolutely delightful taste: “I’ll send Madie over to wake you and get you to here for breakfast. Or would you prefer one of the human maids? Don’t worry about breaking something here or doing something. All the things are repearable with a charm or they have too many protective charms on them to break when you throw them down.” As to prove her point Dana took the blue vase from the table and took the flowers out of it for a moment before sending the vase flying towards a wall. The vase bounced back and fell softly to the floor. When Dana stood and brought back the vase there wasn’t even a scratch on it. Grinning Dana winked: “The castle looks good, but I don’t think I would really want to live here. It’s sometimes a bit too gilded and whatever for me. But visiting and enjoying a vacation here is great.”
Teasing Jazz playfully as the girls ate Dana felt herself relax. Kris’s manor also felt like home. At least the some rooms here felt like home. Drowning the last of her milk Dana stood and stretched when they were ready to start going. A young maid entered with her eyes lowered as Dana just smiled calmly at her: “Hey, we are finished now, so you can clean the table. Mind bringing me Kris’s Silverstar? I won’t get on a horse just yet, but I’m willing to follow you two on a broomstick.” Standing Dana strolled down the hallways on the third floor and pushed open the door to her room as they passed it: “I’m sleeping right here, should you need anything.” Stepping to the next room Dana opened the door and smiled upon seeing all the things already unpacked the stuffed animals she knew from Hogwarts – Wildfire and Airable - placed on the bed. “Ah, Madie has been busy,” Dana commented stepping into the room made with light colours and blue. Jazz should feel a bit more home here than at some fancier bedroom in the house. “Wardrobe is right here, your bathroom – don’t worry, it’s private – the balcony door. You should find everything,” Dana said with a bright smile, “I’ll go and change too. I want a different pair of jeans if I go riding on a broomstick. I’ll go and change too.”
Dana left and entered her own room in the manor. She came here often, so her staff was here already. Opening the door to her wardrobe Dana picked up knee-length jeans that widened a bit at the knees and a white and blue tank-top. Adding white tennis-shoes and pulling her hair into a pony-tail Dana was ready after a couple of minutes and so she stepped out of her own room and knocked on Jazz’s door to see how far along she was. After getting the broom she had asked for.

Jasmine sat at the table cutting her pancakes in tiny squares and than putting them in her mouth. Dana than began to talk about some of the horses. Winddancer only tolerated Kris on his back and than Essaul was carrying a foal. Setting her fork and knife down Jasmine took a sip of her water staring at Dana, "One of his horses is having a foal! Oh my goodness. When? Do you know the sire?" Jasmine asked her hazel eyes twinkling more than ever. She had always loved to watch foals being born. The miracle of life was always enchanting thing to watch. "No I don't mind...Madie waking me up in the morning. To tell the truth I never actually seen a real house elf. They are quite different than I imagined." Jasmine said with a smile taking another sip of water finishing the glass. Dana than talked about not worrying about breaking something or adventuring off some place. "I just don't want to be in the wrong place at the wrong time..." she said her voice trailing off and laughed as her friend kept teasing her.
A maid than came into the room her eyes lowering before Dana. Jasmine looked away and stood up from the table smiling, "Thank you. I could do it myself but...Really don't know where the kitchen is." Jasmine said smiling once more following behind Dana still looking around in awe. The castle was just so huge! Something she never experience before. Well expect for Hogwarts but that was different. Dana than opened a door saying it was her room but walked down a few feet away opening the door to a rather large and beautiful looking room. "Oh my gosh! It's so beautiful! Exactly like my dream room!" Jasmine called out her voice high with excitement. Walking further into the room she saw both her stuffed animals sitting on the bed waiting for her. "Thank you so much. Just let me get dressed real quick." Jasmine said walking over to one of the dresser draws trying to find her black riding pants.
Opening the second on Jasmine pulled them out and went into them trying to put on her very long knee highed socks with running horses on it. Once she was settled in the pants she pulled on a blue tee shirt that looked quite old and worn out from previous rides and working. Walking over toward the makeup stand Jasmine put her hair up into a messy ponytail while picking up her riding boots but slipping into sandals as Dana knocked on the door. "I'm ready." Jasmine said opening the door holding the pair of boots in her hands. "Sorry there dirty I don't want to track mud or horse manurer into the castle." she exclaimed following Dana down toward the stables.

Dana smiled when Jazz opened the door but just arched her eye-brows in question upon seeing the boots in Jazz’s hands. Jazz explained it before Dana even got a chance to ask, so Dana just shrugged and turned once again. Moving down the staircases Dana led Jazz out using a different door this time. The door brought them out to the side of the castle where the big stable was already visible. The horses were out right now though with Kris and Stedman – a middle-aged german who looked after Kris’s horses. He had one the gold medal at the Olympic games in riding as Dana knew. He enjoyed working for Kris right now though. Kris seemed rather satisfied with his work as well.
“Hello, Friedrich,” Dana greeted the man as she leaned on the bar that surrounded the meadow with the horses, “Kris, Jazz wants to go for a quick ride. I’ll follow you up on the broom – I borrowed your Silverstar for it. And how is Essaul?” Dana eyed Kris who as stroking the white mare’s stomach gently while talking to Freidrich. Dana smiled and petted Bandos’s nose as the stallion pranced towards her hoping for some good snack. “Sorry, old boy, I don’t have anything to give you right now,” Dana told the horse, who seemed to understand for he whinnied and trotted off and nudged Kris with his head.

Kris moved swiftly to the stables jumping easily over the bar surrounding the meadow the horses were at today. “Friedrich,” Kris greeted the stable-boy calmly while giving every horse a moment of attention and an apple or a carrot – depending on the horses personal preferences. Moving towards Essaul Kris stroked her head for a moment before stroking her stomach too. Exchanging opinions about when the foal should be coming out Kris looked up as Dana spoke to him. Eyeing Jasmine standing a bit further back Kris saw that she was wearing riding clothes. At least she should be abele to ride then.
“Essaul and Bandos won’t be coming – Bandos’s leg still needs some recovery time still, but choose a horse from the others,” Kris stated emotionlessly nodding towards Friedrich to bring out a saddle. Raising his hand and petting each horse he spoke about Kris let Jasmine watch them for a moment, “Basquez is speedy, Cognac here is fiery and can get scared easily if some rabbit happens to run out in front of her. Carycyn is a long distance runner and Aladdin likes to jump, even though he’s moody.” All the horses were moody actually and needed a firm hand to keep them in line.
Friedrich reappeared with a light-brown leather saddle with some flowers sewn into it for decoration and placed it on the bar while they waited for Jasmine to pick a horse for herself. Giving Essaul and Bandos one more pat Kris moved towards Winddancer who had been calmly eating a bit further. Seeing Kris near the horse rose to his hind legs for a moment before trotting towards Kris who pulled himself onto Winddnacers back without any problems. He’d go riding without a saddle and wearing jeans. Leading the horse with his legs Kris made Winddnacer jump over the fence, not bothering with opening the gate. Leading the horse into the barn Kris pulled bridle onto his head without even getting off the horses back and added two long leather reins. Taking firm hold of them and turning them so it would be comfortable for him to hold them, Kris led Winddancer back outside where Jasmine was just sitting onto a horse while Friedrich closed the gate to the meadow.
“Let’s go,” Kris shouted to the girls, turning Winddancers head to the path that led down the hill where the manor was positioned. Keeping the horse back so it would walk down Kris settled deeply comfortably on the horses back, letting Winddancer move forward into a trot only when they reached level ground again. “Dana, you ready for something quicker?” Kris shouted upwards and seeing Dana fly over his head Kris smiled and let Winddancer gallop. Doing a quick evaluation of the surrounding scenery and steered Winddnacer to left knowing that there should be a nice little mountain lake there.

Jasmine followed Dana toward the stables with a huge grin on her face. She knew she was wearing something to showy but it was the proper attire for her stables. Leaning up against a wall Jasmine pulled on her breeches, setting her sandals in the corner before catching up to Dana. Jasmine's face soften at the sight of the white mare whose eyelids seem to be a drooping a little. All she wanted to do was go up to the mare and get pet her softly just talking about life but she didn't want to get yelled at for doing something. Watching the middle aged man go into the stable to get a saddle Jasmine listened closely to Kris talk about his horses. The last one sounded good. Almost to good. Like another Wildfire. Friedrich reappeared with a brown track and little flowers printed on it. Taking the saddle, saddle pad, girth, and bridle she set it down on a rack by the cross ties. "Thank you. Now where can I get his halter and lead rope?" Jasmine asked staring at the man itching to go over toward the mare. He disappeared yet again and Jasmine walked over toward the mare putting her hands out so she could take a sniff. Rubbing the horses forehead Jasmine smiled and began to talk softly, "Hello girl. You quite beautiful and I beat you baby is going to be to. Wish I had a carrot or apple to give you." Friedrich than reappeared with her things. Smiling Jasmine took them and walked out into the paddock.
The meadows were quite green, surrounded by forest. It was so beautiful just to go on a trail ride with you horse and a friend. Smiling Jasmine looked at Friedrich pointed to the horse that was Aladdin. Watching the stallion run across the field she couldn't help but get lost in his beauty. Leaning up against the fence Jasmine watched him race around. His long black tail high and threw his head up in all directions. His dark buckskin coat gleamed in the sun as he let out a whinny toward Kris. Taking the halted and lead rope behind her back. Jasmine entered the paddock walking slowly toward the stallion. He lifted his head and pawed the ground staring at her. "Come on boy!" Jasmine urged clicking her tongue lightly. The stallion than trotted over throwing his head yet again into the air as she put her hand out for him to sniff. Slipping the halter over his head Jasmine clipped the lead rope on walking out of the paddock and Friedrich following behind her. "Miss. Do you mind If I ask you a question?" he finally spoke clipping the other cross tie on the horse. "Sure go right ahead." she said taking a brush and lightly brushing it over the horses coat. A little dust disappeared as she went down to his legs picking his hoofs. "You look like Henry and Natalie youngest daughter. Are you?" Friedrich asked helping Jasmine with the other side of Aladdin. After finishing the last hoof she stood up straight, "Yes I am. How do you know my parents?" Jasmine asked setting the brush and pick down and putting the saddle pad down on his back and than the saddle. Lifting the saddle to come up farther up his back Jasmine took the girth and tightened it on her side swinging it over to Friedrich. "Almost everyone who owns a race horse or jumper knows him. You mother was quite the rider. Her spill on the race was horrible." he said patting Aladdin as the horse pawed the ground at the tightening.
No even answering to his comment Jasmine slipped the bridle over the horses head and fastened the ties. "Thank you Friedrich." Jasmine told him with a kind smile putting down the stirrups as they matched her prefect. Mounting Jasmine collected the reins in her hands nudging with her legs for the horse to continue on. Aladdin threw his head in the air and pawed the ground before continuing on outside at a brisk walk. The man opened the gate for her and closed it when Kris came to sight. Jasmine could of fallen off her horse at the beauty and grace of Winddancer. His dark coat and curly mane and tail just made him stand out. "Um sure." she told him looking above at Dana. "Having fun!" Jasmine shouted with a laugh squeezing with her legs which brought Aladdin into a gallop. Leaning slightly forward Jasmine led her horse down the meadow. The wind whipped at her face as she saw a log. Steering him toward it Jasmine went into her two-point postion as the Aladdin jumped over it effortlessly. "Wow your as good as Wildfire." Jasmine told him bringing him down into a trot following behind Kris. She didn't want to tire her horse out yet. There still was a race and jumping contest in store.

Dana smiled happily at Kris as he introduced the horses. Jazz started to pick a horse for herself while Kris himself mounted Winddancer. It was a known fact for Dana that Winddancer was Kris’s favorite horse. Winddnacer only tolerated Friedrich, giving him a very hard time every time the muggle tried to groom him. As for Kris he was always at his best behavior never even prancing around. Mounting the broom Dana pushed herself off the ground doing a low circle around the paddock before turning to Jazz who was saddling Aladdin at the moment before settling comfortable into the saddle.
A mere moment later Kris shouted for them to get moving and obediently Dana turned her broom to follow him down the hillside as she floated in the air between Kris and Jazz. Jazz seemed to have a good time and feel rather comfortable on Aladdin’s back while Dana didn’t even have to glance at Kris to know that he handled his fiery stallion without any problems. Hearing Kris’s voice Dana just smirked at his back. Was she ready for something quicker? Of course she was! Not bothering to answer verbally Dana just bowed lower over the broomstick and flew ahead of Kris. Seeing him turn Winddancer in an other direction Dana smiled. Kris had shown the mountain lake to her previously. Dana didn’t usually go swimming there as the water was rather cold, but Kris liked it. Then again he had always preferred colder climate.
Enjoying the fresh air and the sound of birds instead of the regular traffic noise of Paris Dana smiled. She had made the right choice when decided to come along the two horse-friends on a broomstick. Streaking across the sky in a random pattern Dana just enjoyed the sensation of fresh air and moving. This was good. “I’ll go ahead to the lake,” Dana shouted down and picked the speed up a little with the broom rushing towards the direction of the lake. She’d meet up with the others there.

Kris looked scruntizingly as Jasmine led Aladdin to a small jump over a log. Hardly a jump for Aladdin, who liked jumping, but the girl seemed to be able to handle him. Letting Winddnacer go at a light trot Dana turned at the trail leading uphill. Settling back Kris watched as Dana streaked pass him as he let Winddancer set his own pace, which still remained at a light trot. The horses were used to the local hillsides and all of Kris’s horses were in excellent shape, so they weren’t hard for the horses. Finally reaching the hillside, Kris half-turned on Winddnacer’s back and eyed Jasmine coldly: “I’m going to go ahead – it’s straight ground to the lake now so you shouldn’t loose me out of eye-sight. At that hill there turn right or let Aladdin go by himself – he knows the trail. It’s only 2 kilometers to the lake” Just a slight nudge with his thighs and Winddancer was galloping again while letting out a soft whinny. Running at gallop Kris smirked upon seeing Aladdin pull up next to Winddancer. Did that girl really think Kris didn’t know his horses? Aladdin was a good jumper – someone who could win a competition – but he wouldn’t be above mediocre in a race. As for Winddancer lost only to Carycyn from Kris’s horses. And Carycyn beat Winddancer only on a longer distance when Kris wasn’t riding Winddancer. Smirking calmly towards Jasmine Kris relaxed as he bowed low over the horses neck, almost leaning on it. Letting Winddancers head go, knowing the horse preferred running with a free leg and long neck Kris let his hand rub his neck for the smallest moment. “Go, boy,” Kris told Winddancer without even using his legs to force Winddancer to run faster. The difference in the stallions step would have been noticeable to everyone though. Winddancer’s steps lengthened, his legs and whole body seemed to reach out until the stallion seemed like an arrow just recently freed to fly towards target. A sudden gust of wind pulled the ribbon that had been holding Kris’s hair and Kris turned his head sharply, but the distance was already too big to catch the ribbon. Turning his head back Kris turned Windndacer at the hill with the lake suddenly stretching in front of them in only about 100 meters forward. Winddancer didn’t even slow his step as he rushed into the lake, not fearing the water. One more reason that made Kris like Winddancer more – not every horse agreed to rush into water like that. Not stopping until he was in the water to half his back, Winddnacer rose to his hind legs and snorted loudly while beating the air with his front hooves. The distance hadn’t tired him out. His hooves hit the water once again splashing everything around as Winddancer lowered his head and drank a little. Brushing his hair away from his eyes Kris didn’t even make noticed of his shoes and lower part of his jeans that were also in the water. Patting Winddancers neck Kris looked up to see Dana circling the lake on her broom. ((HOpe you don't mind me saying you pulled up next to Winddancer. But I did warn you that Jazz isn't going to win this race ))

Looking up into the sky Jasmine watched as Dana flew ahead of them. Smiling to herself she brought Aladdin into a rhythmic canter, her dark brown hair almost flying out of it's pony tail. The sun was beating down on the land and everything seemed almost prefect. Listening to the sounds of Aladdin's breathing and the birds around her Jasmine just relaxed more letting her her horse follow behind Winddancer. He seemed to know where to go.
Noticing Kris do a half-turn on the black stallions back Jasmine just stared at him ignoring his cold look. Only two kilometers to the lake, and the ground would be flat. Watching as the horse and rider gallop ahead Jasmine nudged lightly with her heels bringing Aladdin into a slow gallop. But the stallion seemed to go faster catching up with Winddancer. Neck and neck with the other horse now Jasmine turned her head to the right and stared at Kris who only smirked back.
Hearing a faint sound coming from Kris Jasmine just gazed as the black stallion took the lead. His legs outstretched, and tail held high. The horse and rider grew smaller and smaller with each step. Leaning forward more on Aladdin's back Jasmine went into a half position squeezing lightly with her heels. The stallion responding by throwing his head up into the air and quickening his pace a bit. But it was no match to catch up to the black bluer of Kris and Winddancer. Kris did tell her that Winddancer was the fasted horse in the barn and Aladdin was only a jumper. But that didn't disappoint her one bit.
Galloping along slowly Jasmine pulled on the reins feeling the horses step slow down to a trot. Halting by the lake she just stared at Winddancer reared into the air and snorted once landed. Smiling Jasmine stared up into the sky seeing Dana circle the lake on her broom. Dismounted from the saddle Jasmine pulled the stirrups up on both sides and loosened the girth a hole or two so Aladdin could breathe. Walking up to the stallions face she loosened the nose band quite a bit letting the horse take a couple mouthfuls of grass. Patting Aladdin on the neck Jasmine just stood, glued to her spot next to the stallion.

Winddancer snorted as he lowered his neck taking a few sips of the cold water to drink. Kris could tell that the hrose wasn’t satisfied. Winddnacer was build for long-term runs. This had been to little for him. But he stooed calmly still as Jasmine came into view not to much later. Wawtching with a bit squinted eyes as the girl cared for Aladdin Kris stayed silent. The horses were used to his style – until they were out, they ran, jumped, obeyed. And they were rewarded double once they returned to te stable after their run outside. A quiet noise caught Kris’s attention. Looking sharply to his left Kris eyed the brier-bushes growing at lake side. The noise seemed to be coming there and it most certainly wasn’t a human. However Kris’s view was obscured. Turning Winddancer towards the bushes Kris forced him to move forward. It was obvious that the stallion didn’t want to go – he threw his head up, shook his neck, stomped and stirred up mud, sand and little bebbles form the bottom of the lake. But the stallion moved forward without Kris even having to pull on his bridle harder.
When they reached the slope with the briar bushes Winddnacer was standing in water up to is ankles with his tail hanging behind him as droplets of water on his body shone in the sun. A light pull on his right hand as well as a bit of pressure with his leg and Winddnacer turned so he was sideways to the briar bushes. Kris bowed lower looking between the birar bushes somehow managing to catch a glimse of something black. And a lot of thorns. Kris hestitated watching the bushes but once the quiet sound rang agaim. Suppressing a mental groan Kris reached his hand forward only to be reawrds with a few scratched on his arm and a furious sound that was most certainly a hiss. Jerking his arm back Kris eyed the bushes contemplatively. Scowling Kris reached his arm in suddenly again and ignoring the thorns poking his arm. Catching a handful of osmething soft Kris pulled his arm up just as suddenly wile the small black crature hissed and tried to scratch him. Taking hold of it’s paws Kris identified a pitch-black kitten who didn’t really seem happy upon seeing him.
Wondering whether it was a he or a she, Kris craned his neck to get a peak. And was rewarded with a furious ’MEOW!’ and four deep scratches on his left wrist. ’She’ Kris thought grimly while eyeing the animal’s borken leg. But she would most certainly not want to be taken to the doctor. Pulling off his shirt Kris warpped it around the animal’s body so she couldn’t scratch him anymore, but could still breath. „I’ll go to the village. You can find your way back to the castle from here,“ Kris shouted upwards to Dana while keeping the animal in his blous in position with one hand. Guiding Winddnacer over Kris turned his head as he reached Jasmine, „Aladdin will do his regular running course later in the mountian meadows. So don’t start brushing him immidiately when you’re back. Friedrich will take the horses for their run and clean them later. That’s what he gets paid for after all.” Kris smirked. True, he hadn’t invited Jasmine over, but since she already was here, she would be treated as any other guest. And Kris knew the girl would still try to brush Aladdin herself later, so Kris smirked and used on threat he figured might work: “If you do his job for him – then I’ll just leave him without his pay this month.” Kris gave an absent-minded pet on Aladdin's nuzzle as he had been reaching it towards him. Winddnacer snapped at Aladdin, making hte other stallion draw back while Kris gave a sharp tug on Winddnacers reigns.
A light squeeze of his legs while he pulled the Winddancer’s head in the right direction and the black stallion moved to an easy-paced gallop once again as Kris headed towards the small village. Most of Kris’s servants had been born in that village and the village was rather dependant of the castle as well.

Dana enjoyed the sensation of flying. The broom moved lightly, despite the fact it was a very rare and a rather old model. But it was Kris’s, meaning it was in top shape possible and didn’t gave Dana any trouble what so ever. Leaning forward over the broomstick Dana accelerated soaring over the hill – and scaring off some bird while at it – before slowing down again and circling the lake lazily. It felt great. Dana was finishing her third small circle over the lake when Kris appeared into view with Winddancer gallopping. Looking at Kris who was bowed low over Winddancers neck, almost leaning on it, Dana smiled. Though she herself couldn’t ride, she had always liked to watch Kris riding on one of his horses.
Winddancer ran straight into the water and Dana pulled her broom up immidiately. It was a warm day, yes, but the water in this lake never seemed to warm up. At least not warm up to the temperature where Dana would like to go for a swim in it. Kris didn’t seem to mind as his legs stayed in he water calmly. Dana was just about to ask where Jazz was, when she came into view aorund th hill as well. Aladdin was ridding – at a bit slower pace than Winddancer had, Dana noted – but the Arabian looked nice. Watching Jazz let the saddle a bit looser Dana steered closer to her as Kris went to investigate something. Dana watched him pull something black out of some briar bushes – Dana had always liked briar-roses – before pulling his silk-shirt off and wrapping it around the black... thing... Dana was relatively sure it was some sort of animal once again.
Dana grinned upon hearing Kris’s words: „Yes, I can find my way back to castle.“ Dana sent Kris with her eyes for a hilw, before floating lower so she was floating in the air next to Jass: „How much do you want to bet that Kris just found himself a new pet? And yup, he’ll most surely leave Friedrich without his pay, if he doesn’t care for the horses. The house-elves will report it exactly. And they can’t like to Kris.“ Dana stretched and looked at the like smiling calmly: „I like it here. The views – the whole scenery – is marvellous. Hope you don’t mind me dragging you here without letting you know first. Bu I got the idea just a few hours before you arrived.“
