Elle lay with her on the grass, inhaling the sweet smell of morning dew. She closed her eyes for a minute, to enjoy the smell, but then again, no one would notice, for she was wearing sunglasses which would enable her to look at the clouds without being blinded by the sun. Afterall, today was only partly cloudy.
Elle's arms were stretched out, and her legs were bent. She was glad she didn't decide to wear a miniskirt today, choosing instead a pair of cargos. She was sure that, by now, the back of her shirt would be filled with grass stains, but it didn't matter, it was just an ordinary swimteam t-shirt. Her hair, as well, would be filled with bits of grass, but today, Elle could care less about her appearance. She hadn't even bothered to put on makeup. Afterall, which important person would she see at such an ordinary muggle park, so early in the morning?
She remembered her entire thought process this morning, debating to herself whether to go shopping with her friends or to come to the park and just relax. She had chosen the latter, because she had just gotten some serious shopping done with the same group of friends a day before. She sighed. Ever since Hogwarts, she had started to seclude herself more and more from her muggle friends. This wasn't very healthy, she noted. The usually, surrounded by friends Elle was turning to being by herself and cloudwatching. How un-Elle-like, she thought!
It was just that, everytime she came home from Hogwarts, her friends would have more and more inside jokes and remember whens, which excluded her. It was like Elle was a new friend, and more or less of an outsider. It made Elle want to cry, as she bit her lip, willing herself not to.
Seeing that nobody was here to watch though, she made her teeth let go of her bottom lip, as her tears spilled over, and rolled down her cheeks. Stop that! she told herself, stop trying to feel sorry for yourself! Elle blinked a few times, and wiped off the remaining wetness on her cheeks, looking at the sky.
As the clouds went by, she swore she could see a raven, which turned into a lion, then a badger, and finally a snake. Looking at a different cloud, Elle made out a house she knew to be her home, which turned into hat, then a dolphin, miraculously. Elle's eyes began to close, cloud-watching had made her rather sleepy, and plus, it was early in the morning.

Fiona walked down the streets of London. It was early, but she didn't care. She was bored and so anything was going to be fine. Since the attacks it had been impossible to do a lot of things. She could no longer visit Diagon Alley and that was hard for her. After spending almost everyday there. She felt her shoulder, the pain was nearly gone and she could use it again. After it had been dislocated from the attacks it had been so painful. Now she actually able to use it, which was a relief since she was left handed.
Fiona paused to look at her reflection in a window. She had become increasingly worried about her appearance. Her hair was down today. It was straight and was vibrant. Her eye shadow set off her green eyes in the perfect way. She was wearing a green spaghetti strapped tank top and dark blue flare jeans. On her feet were dark blue shoes. She reached up to feel the black pearl that hadn't left her neck since she got it. It had been her mothers and it was something that Fiona felt very close to. She had only seen her mother not put it on once and that was the day she had killed herself. It was so unlike her to do that. Of course, the whole thing was unlike her.
Fiona turned from the window and continued down the streets. A clearing was up ahead and she felt like a little sit down. She needed to clear her mind and she felt that meditating would be the best medicine for it. As she approached the park she recognized a girl on the grass. A smiled crossed her face as she came closer. The girl was wearing sunglasses and was dressed in clothes Fiona would probably never wear. "Didn't your mother ever tell you that even with sunglasses on you can still hurt your eyes by looking at the sun?" Fiona asked with arrogance as she stood over the girl. She probably wasn't even looking at the sun, but Fiona felt like giving her a hard time and that was the only thing she could possibly come up with. Fiona couldn't see her eyes, but figured that she was awake. After all, who would fall asleep in the park? She eyed the girls clothes with disgust as she waited for her to answer.

Elle awoke with a start and stared up at Fiona. She had fallen asleep, and she had now been at the park, guessing by the new position of the sun, an hour. She grabbed her cellphone, which lay beside her in the green, grassy field of Rocklane Park. Elle estimated time was about correct, it was been a little over an hour when she had first come to the park in the morning. She sat up, brushing herself off as best as she could, and picking out the bits of grass in her auburn hair, which was now rather tousled. Elle felt her back, which was damp, due to the dampness of the grass she had been laying in. Not that she was complaining. She rather enjoyed lying in the grass on such a peaceful morning. Not too hot, not to cold, she thought. Then turning her attention to Fiona, she retorted, "Didn't your mother ever tell you it was rude to wake up a sleeping person?" Elle pulled off her sunglasses and waited for Fiona's reply. OOC: Sorry so short I gotta go or else I'm gonna get caught at the computer and I'll be grounded longer...

Walking down the pathway through the park Cole looked at the people around him. Some couples, some relatives. To his left was a couple walking hand in hand laughing and smiling. Cole couldn't help but smile just listening to them talk. To his right was a father and a son playing with a Frisbee. Cole could only remember parts of him and his father actually having fun like that. Most of it was just training. A loud voice ran through Cole's head as he thought of this. "Come on Cole you can do better than that.", the voice rang. Cole shook his head to get rid of the thought and continued to walk forward with no real place to stop in mind.
Cole was wearing a read T-shirt with a black long sleeve shirt underneath it. He had the sleeves pushed up to the top of his upper arm. He wore gray Dickie's and black boots. His hair was messy but in a way that could show he had made it messy the way he wanted it. Cole had decided to leave the house today just to have fun. He hoped maybe to run into someone he knew at the park even though he wasn't dependent on it.
Just then Cole noticed Fiona with another girl. Cole knew Fiona because she was a fellow Slytherin and a member of the Chosen. Walking over he over heard the conversation they were having. "Always have to be picking on someone don't you Fiona." Cole said smiling. He was in a good mood today so decided to say hello to the other girl. "I don't believe I have had the pleasure." Cole said extending his hand. "I'm Cole Waters."

Elle gave Fiona another look, almost daring her to reply, and then popped her sunglasses back on, and looked up at the sky again. It had turned extremely sunny, and the clouds had disappeared. So much for CLOUD watching, Elle thought. Oh well I'll just enjoy my day in the park. Rubbing her eye, she let out a little gasp. She had just smeared her perfectly put on eyeliner! Then she remembered that she hadn't bothered to put makeup on this particular morning, and that she was wearing sunglasses.
Turning her attention to Cole, she smiled, dimples forming on both cheeks, and replied, "No, I don't believe I've met you before. I'm Elle, 3rd year ravenc-- Oh nevermind. I'm Elle."
Elle shook his hand, while she scolded herself silently. She had been so used to meeting other magical folk that went to Hogwarts that she had forgotten that she was in a muggle park. Elle knew Fiona didn't usually hang out with muggles though, and was surprised that Cole knew her name. Maybe he isn't a muggle, she thought.
Elle guessed that her peaceful hour of relaxation was gone, and didn't bother to lay back down again. She brushed some more bits of grass off her cargo pants and her swimteam swimsuit, even though she knew her back was filled with grass-stains, not necessarily just from today. She often lay in the grass beside the pool with that t-shirt on over her swimsuit in between her events. The cargo pants, however, Elle knew were pretty much ruined. She frowned slightly. They had been new too! Oh well, I'll just buy another pair, she thought, it's not like I'm short on money or anything.

((Sorry that it took a while to respond. Elle don't get caught!)) Fiona smiled at the young girl as the girl adjusted her sunglasses. "Didn't your mother tell you it was bad to fall asleep in a park full of untrustworthy muggles?" Fiona asked as she raised an eyebrow at Elle. The girl obviously wasn't the smartest person in the world. After all, she fell asleep in a park where anyone could have walked up and stole something from her. Fiona crossed her arms as she stared down at the girl. Fiona often wondered why she gave the girl attention, she didn't deserve it, especially since she was a mudblood. Fiona was just about to say something else, when she heard a familiar voice. Turning to look a huge smile formed on her face. "Cole! You know me, picking on people is my life," Fiona said as her smile extended to her ears. She hadn't seen him or talked to him since she had been initiated into the Chosen. She respected Cole in all sense. After all, he was the leader of the Chosen and he was going to be playing Quidditch in the minors. Her seemed to be in a good mood that morning and Fiona was too. It had been the only reason why she had talked to Elle. 'Speaking of Elle,' Fiona thought to herself. Her attention turned back to the girl as Cole introduced himself. The girl didn't seem to know what to make of him and caught herself before she finished saying Ravenclaw. "No need to worry. He's in Slytherin," Fiona said with a smile. She wondered why the girl would possibly think that a muggle would know her. She hardly conversed with mudblood's and half-breeds let alone with filthy muggles.

Cole smiled as Elle shook his hand. He heard her start a sentence but stop halfway through. This wiped the smile off of Cole's face. He hear her start saying Ravenclaw. Cole turned his head to the side and gave a serious stare at Elle. Cole didn't Converse with people outside of Slytherin much. Now that he thought about it if he did talk to someone outside of his house it would be a Ravenclaw. He remembered an old girlfriend he had from Ravenclaw. Cole sat there trying to figure out what to make of the conversation. Should he tell her he's in Slytherin? Should he even talk to her since she wasn't in his house? All these questions crossed Cole's mind at once.
Then suddenly Fiona said Cole was in Slytherin. "Yes I am proud to say I am." Cole said smiling. He should have known Fiona would have said something if he hadn't. Fiona was a newer friend of Cole's. She had recently been initiated to the Chosen and Cole knew of her outgoing nature. Fiona was outgoing to a point and this was one of her faults. Cole knew when to say who he was and what side he was on and when to hold his tongue. Fiona was proud about everything in her life, like Cole, but she let every person she met know how she felt. Those who gave away to much information about themselves at the wrong time were not smart.
Cole gave a false smile and said "As Fiona said I am a Slytherin. 6th year encase your wondering." Cole looked at Fiona and said "So I haven't seen you since our last meeting. I trust everything is going OK?" Cole knew that Fiona would know what he was talking about.

Fiona wondered if Cole had ever talked to someone outside of Slytherin, especially one like Elle. Fiona didn't talk with her much, unless it involved the both of them fighting. Last time they met, she nearly hexed the girl. Of course, she had a plan for the girl and it would only succeed if they stayed on somewhat decent terms. Fiona listened to Cole talk and then her breath was stolen away when he asked her about how things were going. Fiona knew exactly what he was talking about. She had been working hard to fulfill her duty and she smiled slyly at Cole. "Yes, everything is going fine," she said. Fiona knew the Elle was probably curious about what they were talking about, but it was something that she'd never know. Fiona's attention fell back on Elle as she waited to see her reaction to knowing that Cole was in Slytherin.
((Sorry, it's a bit short. Couldn't think of anything else to say.))

OOC: Gosh sorry I haven't been on in a while. I've been so busy with volleyball tryouts this week and the new coach is really tough. I got 25 full push-ups today for not tucking in my shirt...Poor Megan, 75 pushups, 25 for each earing and 25 for her livestrong bracelet...she collapsed halfway through...
IC:
Elle glared at Fiona, "Didn't your mother ever tell you that if you are a light sleeper and have your hand closed tight over your cell phone, that you can keep someone from stealing it?"
She flipped her hair out of her face, which was still rather frizzy, and gave Fiona another look before returning to Cole.
"As I am proud to be in ravenclaw," Elle said quietly, but somewhat assertively.
She didn't know what to make of him. He seemed nice enough, she guessed, but Fiona was friends with him. An enemy's friend is an enemy, she thought, remembering the phrase her teacher used to talk about multiplying negative and positive numbers. She gave an odd sort of half-smile. Elle was at a loss as to what to say.
When Fiona and Cole began to talk about some sort of meeting or other, she got a little confused. Obviously, she had no idea what they were talking about, and she knew it would be a little rude to ask. Instead, she just sat and smiled, watching the two older Slytherins converse.

Cole looked at Fiona as she answered his question. "Good." Cole said. He knew that Elle was probably wondering what they were talking about but he wasn't afraid of her suspicions. She was young, nieve. Cole looked at Elle trying to change the subject and said "So what are you two doing here? On a date are you?". Cole let out a small laugh at his joke. He liked tormenting people. Cole looked at the ground like he was thinking about sitting down but he didn't feel like it. He looked back at Elle and smiled "So are you scared? I mean being only a third year and in the company of two older Slytherins I would think that you would be shaking by now."

Fiona rolled her eyes at Elle's comment. The girl was no really worth her time. She only came over to torment her for a few moments anyway. It was her lucky day that Cole just happened to have shown up as well. Elle was young, not like she was so much younger than Fiona, but her attitude was immature and childish. Fiona had always been told she had the air of someone twice her age. Though she used to fight this comment by acting immature, now she realized it was a good quality to possess. She embraced it now and tried to live up to its nature.
Fiona smiled at Cole when he said good to her. She was glad that she had become a member and she was even prouder that she could help fulfill their duties. "I had nothing to do this morning, so I took a stroll. As for a date, you know me better than that Cole," Fiona said with amusement as she motioned to Elle. She hated the fact that Cole had found her conversing with a mudblood, but then he didn't know the plans she had for the girl either. She'd have to share them with him one day soon. Maybe she could get him to help her out with them. She smiled as she looked down at Elle, if only the girl knew. 'Keep your friends close and your enemies closer...' Fiona thought to herself as she waited for Elle to reply about why she was out there.

"Hahahahahaha," Elle said, voice rather sacarstic and unamused, "No. We all know how much I love Fiona. Actually, at first it was just me, sleeping peacefully, and then Fiona came by and oh-so-rudely awakened me from my slumber."
She rolled her eyes. The Slytherins were always the same, always think they're some kind of hot sh**. After Fiona, Elle knew to be wary of Slytherins, known for their cunning ability and slyness, as well as their unfaltering confidence, often toppling over to arrogance. She scoffed. Just because they were all purebloods didn't mean they were any better than any of the other houses. In fact, Elle quite often believed that the Slytherins were the worst of the houses. Elle spoke again after Cole asked if she was terrified. That was another sign of the slytherin ego problem that seemed to run in most pureblood people.
"Of course I'm terrified," Elle said, still sarcastically, "I'm shivering and my teeth are chattering so much that I can't even talk right."
Elle said all of this, speaking fine, with a slight tone of boredom. This was a muggle park afterall. They couldn't get away with any magic here, and if the time came that she had to run away, well, she was rather fast. Her track team practices had trained her, and her off-season workouts during basketball season had strengthened her enough that if she wanted to, she could fight someone off.
Then, she had a quick word with Fiona, "Even if I WERE a guy, I wouldn't go out with you. There's a certain golden rule your mother should've taught you when you were very young. That is to treat others the way you would like to be treated. It's something called respect, which you lack."
She smiled and waited for a reply out of either of them.

((Sorry it took so long to reply. School! )) Fiona gave the young girl an amused look. "You don't have to worry about being a guy. I'd never date a mudblood anyways. There's just something wrong with people like you. Not even worthy enough to go to Hogwarts," Fiona said in a daring tone. She knew that Elle didn't always rise quickly to an argument, but she couldn't help but pester the mudblood. Fiona knew who was better and who wasn't. The school year would prove useful for Fiona. She knew she was worthy of respect and reverence, but those that were under her seemed to have forgotten that. Fiona turned to look at Cole. She wondered if she had said too much. She had a habit of being too proud. It was one of her faults. She liked the side she was on and tended to let everyone know that. She was slightly afraid that she would get in trouble soon. Though, she wasn't sure. Her gaze shifted back to Elle as she waited for a reply.
