With a crack in the air, Nymphadora appeared in a clearing. Grass up to her knees she strode off ahead. A small cottage stood vacant with the curtains tied tightly over the windows not allowing passwerbys to look inside. Walking up the old wooden stairs she took out her wand. Murmering something of a different language she tapped the lock once. Pocketing her wand she turned the knob and walked into the empty room. It was a single room cottage. All that was placed in front of her was a table, several chairs, and a fireplace. Closing the door behind her she made her way over to the windows first. Pulling back the tarnished drapes she tied them aside and allowed the sun to shine in. Un locking the window pane, she pushed the window open a little to begin to circulate the dead air. Walking acrossed the room she did the same to the apposing window. Taking out her wand she pointed it to the table. A silverly mist fell over the setting and slowly lifted. The table and chairs were cleaned of the settled in dust. Coughing slightly from the left over dust in the air, Tonks rubbed her eyes. Pushing a few strands of pink hair out of her face she walked over to the table.
Pulling out a seat she sat in silence. Twiddling her thumbs she rummed a song as she looked out the front window. She was waiting for some of the members of the Order to show up. They needed talk about security measures with Hogwarts, Harry, and basically every other place in the world. The war was still going on and they needed to take charge. Since Sirus died the Order had to go their seperate ways, but Nymphadora called this meeting after talking to Albus about the Diagon Alley attacks. Amelia Bone's death was a shock to everyone and a rude wake up call. It was absurd that it took a death for them to start moving, but what ever it took they needed to start soon.

Click-click-click. Alastors every second move made a small clicking sound as it connected with the cobble-stone street of Diagon Alley. With such disasterous circumstances the ministry had called everyone to work. Even Alastor had received a summoning. He was retired but there was no retiring from war. And war was exactly what this was. Grunting at the site of destroyed buildings and damage Alastor had to admit that the attack had been carefully planned. Death Eaters had gotten this match. Alastors gripped his wand tighter. Had he been here he would have gladly shoved a few Death Eaters into Azkaban. Or even more gladly to execution.
Grunting again Alastors magical eyes noticed a body that had somehow managed to stay hidden under piles of stone. A quick scan showed Alastor that the body was still moving a little so Alastor grunted before growling out loudly: “You good for nothing maggots! There’s someone still here.” Two young auroros who looked too young to even be out of Hogwarts rushed closer. With their wands ready Alastor and the aurors lifted the pieces of walls off the body successfully. Mediwizards were already rushing forward to help the person as Alastor stomped further away.
Looking at the time Alastor saw that it was time to get to the meeting of the Order Tonks had called together. A small *POP* was the only thing that signalized Alastors departure. A moment later Alastor was already standing between a few trees around the small cottage they were supposed to meet at. Gripping his wand so tightly that his knuckles were almost white Alastor scanned the surroundings with both of his eyes. The magical eyed showed her a few birds and a rabbit near-by as well as Tonks who was already in the cabin. It was two minutes later when Alastor finally moved forward towards the cabin. Opening the door Alastor scanned the insides of the cabin once more. One could never be too careful. Being satisfied with things Moody stomped into the cabin grunting towards Tonks as a greeting before standing into shadows at one wall while still being completely alert.

Post by Professor Minerva McGonagall on Aug 9, 2005 12:21:27 GMT
Everything had happened so quickly. Minerva sometimes still had trouble believing all that had been going on. Taking care of the wounded students and helping Albus had taken a lot of her time. Being busy had prevented her thoughts to wander on the topic. But the events that had happened were breathtaking. Patting her hair to make sure it was neatly in a tight bun, Minerva put a short green jacket over her shoulders. It was summer but nights could still get a tad chilly. Minerva didn’t want to catch a cold. What good would that do? She had never been exceptionally good with heating charms either.
Walking briskly out of the Hogwarts castle Minerva took one of the carriages to Hogsmeade. The ride wasn’t too long and in a few minutes Minerva exited the carriage already. Walking a bit further from the station where she was left off Minerva took hold of her wand and after a moment had apperated away. Letting out a small yelp as she reappeared in a small puddle of water up to her ankles, Minerva quickly lifted the edge of her dress and paddled out of the puddle. A quick wave later her shoes were dry again as Minerva looked around her. Where exactly had Nymphadora decided to hold this meeting?
“Point me,” Minerva said and after a minute the wand’s tip was pointed north. Nodding Minerva gathered her skirts, raising them a bit higher so they wouldn’t get in her way and started walking. About 10 minutes after walking and cursing out Minerva reached a small meadow with a simple cabin in the middle of it. With her lips drawn into a tight line Minerva walked to it and opened the door with her wand at the ready. Seeing Tonks and Alastor already there, Minerva stepped in while stashing her wand securely away once again. “Good day,” Minerva said with a small nod as she fixed her hair back into the bun as a few tree branches had messed her hair-do up a little.

Molly had been trying to tidy up the Burrow a little, but she knew that there was other business that she had to attend to, as well. She tried to finish her cleaning, and with a wave of her wand was done. She wondered what time it was. It has to be getting close to time for the meeting Molly thought to herself.
Molly decided to start on her way to the place where Tonks had set the meeting. It was a cottage in the middle of a field. Since Molly wasn't sure of the time, she took out her wand and apparated to a spot just south of the cottage. She noticed that the windows in the cottage had been opened. This meant someone was there.
Molly kept out her wand as she began to walk up to the cottage. As she approached the door, she carefully stretched her hand out to the knob, and slowly twisted it to open the door. Then, she stepped over to one side of the door, and carefully opened it. As she looked inside, she noticed that Tonks, Alastor, and Minerva were the ones that had already arrived. She walked on it, and said hello to everyone, and took a seat to wait on everyone else.

Remus Lupin sat at the small and dank counter in one of his favorite pubs. He was trying to relax by having a few drinks before he had to be off to another meeting for the order. He had black saggy bags burrowing under his eyes and he had several scrapes and bruises adorning his body. His hair was getting longer by the day and it could usually be found in a rather untidy manner. His hands were caloused and dirt could be found under every finger nail. If you did not know that Lupin was a reather prestigious man you would be forced to believe, by his appearance, that he was nothing more than the common hobo.
Lupin took a rather large sip of his fire whiskey before standing up from the bar and disapparated with a rather loud *POP* A whirl of black and orange streaks rushed around him and he felt as though he were being pulled from all directions. Within moments he landed in a large empty field, grass blades up to his shins. He strode through the grass and came to a small cabin that, besides the drawn back curtains, appeared to be deserted. He clambered up the stairs and pulled out his wand before pushing open the door and looking around. Upon entrance Lupin saw many of the order members; Tonks, Mad Eye, McGonagall and Molly Weasley. He gave a slight nod and cleared his throat before sitting down at the old wooden table in the middle of the room to wait for the rest of the order.

Post by Professor Severus Snape on Aug 13, 2005 1:30:25 GMT
Severus muttered a curse when he realised what today was - the Order meeting. He had been missing far too many meetings lately... today someone would hopefully catch him up on the goings on of the last Order meeting and he would have to grill Wormtail or someone for the events of the last Death Eater "get together". Belle would likely be relentless in her chastisement for his missing that - as if she didn't already question his loyalty to the Dark Lord. He had simply been too busy lately to be honest - attempting to serve both men and lead them both to believe they were his true master. Both had charged him with playing spy on the other and now he had to walk the type-rope separating them without falling to the ground. Thankfully it was summer so he didn't have to put up with the sniveling brats and dunderheads he had for pupils quite yet but because of the Diagon Alley attack he did have to spend more time than he would like in Hogwarts with the children in the Hospital Wing healing. He had "taken it upon himself" (meaning he had been guilted into) brewing some of the healing potions for Poppy seeing as she hadn't expected such a need and was now a little behind in her medications.
With a resigned sigh Severus walked slowly down his dilapidated street toward a nearby stream he knew it would be safe to apparate from. He, of course, did not have to worry about being followed by Death Eaters seeing as they knew full well that he was going to be attending meetings for both sides and trusted him to report back to them when something came up but still to make the other Order members feel better he popped up some five minute walk from the old cottage where he was to meet them. He moved with grace through the trees toward the clearing with him arms wrapped about himself and his face pinched in an obvious unhappy look.
As he approached on the cottage he noticed the shutters had been opened and it had a "recently occupied" look about it. He rolled his eyes - the Death Eaters would never be so trusting that nobody was spying nearby - just waiting for something to change so they know where to find their enemies. Regardless he threw open the door and noticed Tonks, Molly, Mad Eye, Minerva, and the wolf had arrived already. "Hello everybody. I trust I find you well?" he drawled out as he dropped himself into a cushioned chair in the corner.

Post by Bill Weasley on Aug 21, 2005 4:11:14 GMT
" I've got some business I need to attend to tonight," conveyed Bill to the blond head that was floating in the fire. Looking disappointed, Fleur Delacour popped out the fire. Grimacing, Bill ran his freckled hand through the long maine of red hair. He hated disappointing her, but he had been working overtime for the goblins at Gringotts ever since the attack occurred at the Alley. The goblins were trying to account for every knut that was in their vaults, but how could he blame them? They did have their reputation to uphold. Bill went back to his desk and continued to run over a ledger. Most of the items were from a tomb in Egypt that had been discovered by him and few other curse breakers about a year ago. It was nasty work getting into that tomb, and one of the party had actually lost a finger from the heavy magic on a vase they found.
After spending several hours tallying the items on the list, he was satisfied that everything was in order. Order? " Damn!" Bill pushed his chair back from his desk and looked at the clock. Time had gotten away from him again, and he was going to be forced to show up to the meeting late. Pulling his black cloak over his shoulders, he battled his way topside. Walking out of the dilapidated opening of the bank, he still couldn't believe the immense damage that the Death Eaters had caused. In the distance, he could even see the remains of his brothers' joke shop. Sighing deeply, he willed himself to disappear from the scene.
*Pop* Bill soon appeared in what looked like a nearly deserted field. A lonely cabin with an open window stood in the distance, and Bill began to make his way there. Pulling his wand out, he occasionally looked to his left and right to make sure he was the only person around. Stopping at the steps, he turned around to make sure he wasn't followed. After making his way up those creaking stairs, he opened the door with his wand still aloft.
" Hello, everyone," Bill walked into the cottage as he stowed his wand. Seemed like a good majority of the order had arrived, even that prat Snape. Walking over to his mother and giving her a kiss on the cheek, he turned around to address the rest of the group. " I'm sorry I'm late. I've had to work late every night since the attack. The goblins want everything accounted for before they reopen the bank."
