Ingrid's last few days in Hogwarts weren't very fun. She spent them in the Hospital Wing only because of a dizzy spell. She would have much rather gone outside and enjoyed the grounds once more, but she wasn't allowed of the bed. She had visitors, but she still would have liked to be outside more. But no. Madame Pomfrey had to be mean. Ingrid really didn't think it was something big. So she had gotten dizzy, so she had passed out, so what? Worse things could happen. Ingrid was still very touchy about the subject, even after they had allowed her to go pack her trunk and head down to Hogsmeade Station, but that meant that when she got off the train at King's Cross, her mum would be there to coo over her. Ingrid didn't necessarily feel like being cooed over. Not to mention the fact that everyone would be there to welcome her home. Andrea, Mark, Jason, Kirsty, Sally, and Janine. All of the Lewis children were going to be there, and the adults. Ingrid didn't know if she was looking forward to it or dreading it.
She closed her trunk on top of all her things and locked it before grabbing up Boe, who was yellow with purple spots today, and leaving the dorm - dragging her trunk behind her. It had wheels so it wasn't tremendously heavy. Ingrid left the common room, the chatter behind her. She passed a couple of other first years in the corridors and said hi with a smile on her face before continuing out to the grounds. It was the first time she had been there since she had passed out. The sun was shining brilliantly and there was a small breeze that made her wheat blond hair fly behind her. It was down today, but it wasn't limp - and it made her blue eyes seem so much larger. She was wearing her uniform simply because she hadn't changed out of it before packing and by the time she realized it she had already packed all her clothes. It was alright though, she would just have to make sure to take off all Hogwarts insignia before reaching King's Cross. That would be bad if she didn't, then people would want to research the school and find nothing and then they would be very curious. Ingrid didn't want to be the cause of all that.
With a heavy sigh, Ingrid made her way to the carriages and placed her trunk inside as she placed Boe in her cloak pocket. Then she climbed in and sat down, closing the door. The carriage then started off toward Hogsmeade station and Ingrid leaned her head back as she gazed out the window. The scenery rolled by and she immediately knew she was going to miss Hogwarts over the summer. It had become a sort of second home for her and she had really grown up over the year. She was fairly certain her family wouldn't recognize her. Ingrid was surprised she grew up so much, she no longer dressed like a six year old, that was for sure - and she started to talk her age. She was still hyper, and happy and carefree... but she was an eleven year old, turning twelve. She was proud of herself, proud that she had grown so much. The carriage came to a stop and Ingrid opened the door, pulling her trunk out and making her way to the station. Boe peered out of her pocket but didn't hop out. He was a good frog.
The scarlett train engine was large, it had to be though to hold so many students. It was shiny and pretty and Ingrid had liked riding on it before, but now it held doom for her. She wasn't sure she wanted to get on it now. She didn't want to leave Hogwarts. She wanted to see her family, but why couldn't they go to Hogwarts? Ingrid breathed in deeply and continued toward the engine, she stepped up and then found an empty compartment in the front car. She slid her trunk above the seat and then sat down, Boe had hopped out and was in her lap now. Ingrid grinned down at the frog and then looked out the window. That was when the door opened and Ingrid had to tear her gaze away to see who was entering the compartment.
((So, I wasn't sure if first years were allowed to take the carriages to the station because they aren't allowed to take them to the castle when they arrive considering they have the boats. But I didn't know how else to get her there and I can't remember what it said in Sorcerer's Stone...if you know tell me?))
