“Ungh…” Hay Lin did NOT want to get up. Hogwarts had been her second home all year, she’s had a great time (minus friends, as she had none) and didn’t want to leave. Regardless, she got up and showered. He at least wanted to be clean on the ride to King’s cross. Her parents lived not too far from King’s Cross, and her father had promised that he’d take her to Hogsmeade. After a light breakfast of scrambled eggs and toast, Hay Lin packed her stuff. She neatly folded everything in her trunk and dragged that down to the station. Her cat, Rudy, had chosen to nest in his basket and Hay carried that too. After loading her stuff in a small compartment near the middle of the train, Hay Lin took Rudy out of his basket. He stretched and replaced himself on the cushion opposite Hay.

Dalit had woken up before the sun. She was up early because she still had to put the last of her things into her trunk, and she wanted to make sure she showered before going home. She was planning on taking a walk around the grounds before she went home. She was going to miss the freedom she had here. It was different from home; at home she wasn't allowed to do anything. That had to change this year, and she knew it. She was almost 16, and she knew how to take care of herself, especially when she came across filthy mud bloods and muggles.
After her shower, Dalit put on her school robes. They weren't allowed to wear their own clothes just yet, but she was ok with it for now.
She grabbed the last few textbooks off her nightstand and threw them in the trunk. Grabbing her wand, she muttered the spell to lock her trunk, and then the one to lift it. With it finding it's way in front of her, she began to follow it.
Making her way down to the grounds, she went out the gate and followed a few other students to the train station. When she reached the platform, she noticed it wasn't very busy. She couldn't see anyone she knew while she looked around, so she decided on a little bit of fun.
She dropped her trunk on the platform and stepped up onto the closest stairs. Putting her wand in her pocket, she walked through the train, looking for someone to torment. She looked in the windows as she went, trying to find the weakest person she could.
At the 11th window she looked in, she stopped and backed up. Inside was a Ravenclaw girl, who was obviously younger than herself.
Dalit swung the door to the side and stepped in. "How sickening, a poor little Ravenclaw all by herself. What's the problem? Not good enough for all the other mud bloods here?" Dalit sneered, her insults cutting through the trains compartment like lightening in a storm.

((OOC: Dalit, it wouldn't be a good idea to say that you know Amelia already from the Diagon Alley post, because that happens later on. Just a quick warning! Also, I had a post in here with someone already, but his character went inactive. So I'll just use the same post that I wrote there with some changes... hope that's ok. )) Why did people always seem to be so sad to leave Hogwarts for summer? Sure, it would be a few months before they'd see their friends again, but honestly!? If they really were so sad to see their friends go, they'd keep in touch! Now, Amelia understood the Seventh Years. They were leaving for good and that's always sad. Hogwarts was a very magical and wondrous place, Amelia always knew that. Being from a Muggle family, she had never even dreamed of a place like this. But, the tears and 'I'll miss you's always tired her. She was all ready to go. Her trunk was packed, Misty was in her cage and Rebel was barking to go, her forked tail waging. Amelia loved her Crup puppy. Rebel looked like a Jack Russel Terrier, but with one little difference. Her forked tail. Now, the Ministry gave Amelia the choice to get the tail removed and formed into a Muggle Terrier tail, but Amelia said no. She wanted a magical dog, not a Muggle one. Besides, Rebel was the best puppy Amelia had ever had! With a sigh, Amelia looked around the common room with it's beautiful fireplace and wonderful decorated walls. She didn't want to leave and yet she did. She nodded, ready to leave. Her arm wrapped around Misty's cage, her hand grabbed hold of her trunk and she called to Rebel, who instantly barked that bark that meant "OK, coming!" Amelia smiled at the 1 year old puppy. Technically, Rebel was a full grown dog now, but to Amelia... she was still her little puppy. once outside, Amelia looked back once at the castle and smiled. She would come back a changed woman and she would be the best Gryffindor the school had ever seen! She smiled bigger, a goal in mind, and set out toward Hogsmead station, Rebel trotting along beside her. The train was just as glorious as ever. The scarlet train was huge, her smoke rising high above. There were a few students boarding the train already, but most were still at the school, getting ready to go and saying their goodbyes. Amelia started to board the train, but Rebel caught a scent of something and scampered away. It took Amelia a few moments to catch the dog, who panted and barked and licked her face. Amelia finally got onto the train, somehow carrying her trunk, Misty's cage and ushering Rebel to get on as well. Somehow, she succeeded and found herself, forehead sweating, in the small hallway that led down to the compartments. She had to call Rebel back to her once more before she found a compartment. She randomly picked one and walked inside, well almost stumbling inside as Rebel ran under her feet. There were two other people inside, one was a younger girl, probably a Ravenclaw and then a Slytherin named Dalit Whittemore. Amelia instantly glared, but then saw as Rebel jumped onto the younger girl and barked at her face. trying to play with her. Amelia shut the compartment door, set down her trunk and Misty's cage and went to grab Rebel, but she stumbled over the bird's cage and nearly fell to the floor. She turned, put the owl's cage on the seat and put her trunk below the seat and then turned to get Rebel, who was now licking and barking at the girl's face. "Rebel!" Amelia yelled, trying to call the dog off, "I'm so sorry," she said to the young girl, ignoring Dalit behind her.
