Sadie didn't want to run up to the owlery, but she thought she had saw her owl flying into the school grounds with a package. She had been waiting on the package now for about two weeks and couldn't wait to get it. That package would mean spending more time with her friends, and more time outside in general. The package was something Sadie had planned on getting before the attack on Diagon Alley, but had not been able to.
She walked as fast as her legs could carry her. All she could hear was the thump thump thump of her heart and the clip clop of her newly polished boots. Sadie always tried to dress nicely while not having to wear the robes, and on this particular day, she had dressed for flying. She had been hoping that even if her package didn't arrive today, that she could practice with her friends anyway. They had all been trying to find a way for the three of them to practice together anyway.
Sadie's best friends had been great to her, and had taught her as much as they could. Even helped with her studies when she needed it, and Sadie couldn't wait to be able to share in some of the stuff that they did during their free time.
Sadie made her way along the long corridors, and toward the stairs that headed up to the owlery. She still wasn't running, but wasn't exactly walking either. She knew that the pace she was going wasn't enough to get her in trouble though.
Suddenly, Sadie hit something, or someone. She hadn't really been watching where she was going anyway, and didn't see whoever or whatever it was that she had hit. Sadie looked around, and noticed an older girl laying on the ground. " I'm so sorry. It's all my fault. I wasn't paying attention." Sadie said as she stuck her hand out to help the girl up.
