Trinity walked the enormous halls of the school, her school robes containing the green Slytherin crest still adorning her body. Her book bag was to her side, swinging slightly as she walked. She had an iced cappuccino in her hand and her reading glasses held back her strands of auburn hair. She was heading to the great hall to get a muffin to snack on between classes.
She reached the large wooden doors that were propped open, exposing the chatting people inside. She scowled slightly at a few Gryffindors acting extremely immature, they were most likely first years. She walked down the long isle's between the tables trying to find a quiet place to sit, away from other houses. She walked up and down the rows examining each seat. It wasn't until a group of Ravenclaws left a table, one to the very right of the hall. She walked over to it and rolled her eyes, the table was disgusting. She pulled out her wand and murmured, "Scourgify." Immediately the crumbs and spilled juice from the once dirty table vanished. 'That's more like it,' she thought before sitting down on the hard bench.
Trinity reached into her book bag and pull out her book, 'Unicorns, a mystery,' she opened the book and began reading where she left off. She had Care of Magical Creatures next class and she hadn't studied the night before due to a long potion's essay she had to write. Trinity was 20 pages into her book when she stopped reading. Immediately a plate appeared in front of her, on top of it was a banana nut muffin. Her mouth began to water as she picked up her knife and cut it into four small pieces and buttered them. She indulged herself with the first bite before she was interrupted by what appeared to be a younger Slytherin. She looked up to see the girl standing there, "May I help you?" she said scornfully.

Maddie had her book bag swung over her shoulder, as she walked out of her last class, Charms. She was headed to the Great Hall to get a small snack before going to her next class. She heard her stomach growl and she hurried a pace a little more.
Once she arrived at the hall, she noticed, rather quickly, a group of Gryffindors acting very childish, and she noticed a lot of the other Slytherins sneering and looking at them with disgust. She raised her eyebrows, and moved along. She searched for a nice table to sit at for a while, but couldn't seem to find one that way just right. Well, Maddie was rather picky about things, so maybe it was just her, but today it seemed that there were mudblood, halfbloods, and filthy muggle lovers everywhere.
She soon came across a table with a little bit older looking girl sitting at it, with a book out. Well, Maddie reconized the girl as one of her housemates, and she couldn't be much older than her, so Maddie decided that that table was good. Maddie walked over to the table, and the girl must have sensed her presense, because she asked, in a rather nasty way if the girl could help her. "Hello." Maddie drawled, as if the girl hadn't even said that. "I was just wondering... do you mind?" she asked, gesturing her head a little to the table.

Trinity picked up another piece of her buttered muffin and held it up, "I suppose that is fine," she said, "Everywhere is covered in filth and I wouldn't expect a fellow Slytherin to be subject to that," she finished with a glare towards the group of Gryffindors. She motioned for the girl to sit as she took another bite of her muffin. She felt the warmth and softness of the muffin on her tongue and smiled as she swallowed.
She brushed her hand on her napkin and then held it out towards the other girl, "Trinity Jade, fourth year Slytherin." She hadn't been formally introduced to the girl so she figured she would do the polite thing. She was raised with manners and felt obligated to be polite to those worthy of her time. Being a Slytherin this girl seemed to be worthy.
The sun was shining through the open window of the Great Hall, beaming down onto Trinity. She was begining to get hot so she pulled her hair up into a messy bun and then placed her glasses back in her hair perfectly. She hated the things, her glasses, they left marks on her face when she wore them and she never felt beautiful with them on, no matter how many people told her she did. She picked up her book and placed it in her bag, zipping it shut and setting it on the floor next to her bench.
It was just when things were starting to get awkward between the two when Trinity's big orange cat jumped onto the bench and began rubbing his head on her arm. He was purring fiercly and begging for her attention when she grabbed a piece of muffin and handed it to him, "Here you go Oliver, enjoy." The big cat took it in his mouth and began to eat it quickly. She scratched his head as he yawned and laid down next to her on the bench, "So, what kind of pet do you have?" she asked curiously turning to the girl.

The girl accepted her to sit, so Maddie sat down, oopisite the girl. The girl introduced herself as Trinity Jade, fourth year Slytherin. Maddie took the girl's hand while saying, "Madison Kenacheak. Third year, Slytherin."
Maddie saw the girl take a few bites of her muffin, and Maddie decided that she would like something as well. She thought for a couple of seconds, and a few minutes later, a plate with a chocolate muffin, and chocolate chips appeared, along with a glass of water. Maddie loved chocolate!
She watched as the girl's cat jumped up, onto her lap, and the girl fed the cat a part of her muffin. Trinity asked what type of pet Maddie had, and she replied, "Oh, well, I have a black and brown Barn Owl, Candy, her name is."

Trinity finished her muffin and looked to her kitten, "Sorry Oli... it's all gone." The cat gave her a pouty face before rubbing against her arm and then jumping down to go play. She watched him strut out the door and around the corner before turning back to the girl, "A barn owl," she said skeptically, "I never fancied the things, too bothersome... not to mention smelly."
She looked to her glass and watched as it filled with iced coffee, grabbing it she took a drink and savored the rich flavor. She looked to the girl and sighed slightly, "So what are you doing after classes today?"

The girl, Trinity, had finished her muffin, and said that she didn't really like barn owls. Maddie raies an eyebrow, but said nothing. The girl then asked what Maddie was doing after class. Well, actually, Maddie really hadn't given it much thought. "Well..." started Maddie. "Nothing that I can think of at the moment... why do you ask?" she asked, with a semi-smirk, and curiousity in her voice. ((So sorry for shortness. ))

Trinity looked down at the table filled with crumbs from where her cat, Oliver, had eaten. Taking out her wand she made a swift motion with her hand, "scourgify," she said simply. The table was once again clean so she reached into her book bag and pulled out her book again. Before opening her book to read again she turned to the girl, "I was simply asking, politeness," she opened back up to page 22 and continued reading. Care of Magical Creatures began in 30 minutes and she needed to be caught up.
