Dinner at Hogwarts had just let out. There wasn't much to do now but head back to the common room. Pyro could barely suppress a groan as he was swept up in the crowd of Slytherins that stormed out of the great hall. Pyro wasn't short, far from it for his age, but even he could not compete with the 6th and 7th years that surrounded him. Only being able to see the mid back of the person in front of him soon grew annoying. It was time to weigh his options. Let this crowd carry him off to the common room for a night of sitting around and listening to his dormmates rant on and on about something useless. Or escape the crowd and find something mildly interesting elsewhere. It wasn't a tough decision.
Pyro looked up at the burly 7th year to his left. The boy looked to be busy talking with someone behind. Even though the boy was occupied with something behind him, he had no problem keeping up the pace so there was no opening for Pyro. It was time to create one. Pyro timed the boy's steps just right and stomped his foot down on top of the boy's toes. The boy yelped in pain and surprised, stumbled, and than tumbled. The confusion brought on by the boy's fall caused a small rift in the group and Pyro didn't hesitate. He took of dodging and weaving through the body of people and lept out of the throng and into a side passage. Just as he got out the small pathway crashed shut.
Pyro smirked and turned down the corridor. It was time to see what the night could bring. He wasn't breaking any rules. It was way to early for the students to have to be in their dorms, so Pyro could find a few victims to occupy him. He took one more glance at the large crowd of people and than turned and began to move down the hall.

Maddie had just gotten out of the Great Hall, and was trying to fight off the traffic. She was all in the middle of it, and of course, everyone had to be taller than her, and blocked any way out of this thing.
"Excuse me. Pardon me. Move! Come on! Get out of the way ya fat oaf!" she yelled in frusteration, trying to make her way out of the huge pool of people. Today was really crowded.
She had her own way of getting out of this place. She put both hands out, in front of her and shoved anyone in her way. She really didn't knock anyone over, but all of them were too busy not paying attention to anything, so they stumbled back just a little, so that made a small passageway. She ducked under the peoples' arms and was finally out.
"Blasted older people!" she muttered to herself. She walked down the halls and spotted one of her housemates. She didn't exactly know who he was, just that she reconized him.
"Hello." she drawed casually.

((Hey, just a helpfull hint . Dont try and rush your posts, its ok to fall a bit behind everynow and than. And when you post, do what I do and pretend like your writing a book, that way your posts will be nice and detail full )) Pyro walked down the corridor. As he turned the corner he heard a commotion behind him. It appeard that someone else wanted to fight their way out of the crowd. Pyro smirked but didn't stop his walk. If they wanted out they could get out of their own accord. After a pause a female voice that he did not recognize drifted towards him. He could hear footsteps gaining on him. He cast a short glance over his shoulder and he could make out the silhouette of a girl moving towards him against the wall. He walked a bit more and than he heard a drawled hello. "Hmm?" He slowly turned and faced the girl. She was a Slytherin by the look of her robes. Also by the look of her she probably was a 3rd year, that or a young looking 4th year. "Why hello." He said in response. He stood up straight, placing his hands in his pockets. "I see that someone other than me was able to escape from that jumble of morons that we call housemates."

Maddie walked behind the boy for a couple of seconds and saw him cast a glance her way. She was glad when the boy replied to her. She couldn't stand being ignored. When he turned around, she could get a full look at him, a decent looking person, thank god, or she would have been wasting her time. He looked about her age or a little younger or a little older, she really didn't care that much after she thought about it for a couple of seconds.
"Yep." she replied proudly. "You would think, that since they're older, that they would have at least some sense in paying attention, huh?"
"But," she added. "I guess they all can't be Slytherins like us, can they?"
She paused for a while to dust off her robes with her hand, and looked back up at the boy. "I'm Madison, Madison Kenacheak. But, you can call me Maddie." she introduced herself. "It's better, if ya ask me." she added at an after thought.

Pyro tapped his foot lightly as he examined the girl. He smirked at her words and cast a glance over her shoulder. Not that he could see the original hall anymore. "Paying attention? They are all big headed due to their age. They believe that since they are older than us, they can just push us around."
"I will admit that with age they do have a bit more experience and can cast more spells than me, but not one of them is better than me." He made a slight tsk noise with his tongue. "The value of Slytherin house is slowly degrading. I myself used to be one of the ones that was helping it degrade, thankfully Ive opened my eyes to the true way of Slytherin."
He turned slightly so that his body wasn't facing her squarely. "Madison Kenacheak?" He had heard of her before, but he had never met her, even though they did share the same year it appeared that they had always seemed to be able to avoid one another. "The names Pyro." He said to her.
He looked down the hall in the direction he was walking and than turned back to her. "Care to join me?" He asked.

The boy made a comment on the older students, and she agreed with him. They did think that they could push the younger students around because they were older, and taller. But, they act like total idoits most of the time.
The boy then said that they may be older than him, but they're not better than him. "Ya know," Maddie started with a slight laugh. "You're probably right." He said that Slytherin was degrading and Maddie had to agree with him on that too. Actually, it just all kind of confused her, people would be friends with someone, and then they would fight because you were friends with that person and everyone hated someone, so if you were around them, everyone hated you too. She had been in the middle of it many times, on accident.
He introduced himself as Pyro. Oh. She had heard of him many times. Quite the popular one around the ladies, from what she had heard. Maddie guessed his last name to be Blackfire. Hey! She wasn't completely clueless, she kept up on what everyone was talking about, and she knew the names of most of Slytherin house.
He asked if Maddie wanted to join him. Well, sure, why not? She really didn't have anything else to do, so she might as well. "Sure. Why not?"

((terribly sorry for the Loooong idleness on my part...I was busy with football camp and than when I did get on I was never up to posting..))
As Pyro spoke Madison seemed to be just fine in listening to him. She did put in a comment or two as he spoke. Pyro introduced himself and he noticed a small flash of recognition cross her eyes. A small frown crossed his face. It seemed everyone was getting to know him behind his back.
Pyro shook the thought from his head. There would be better time to explore his new found popularity. When Madison agreed to go along with him in his search for entertainment he turned down the hall and motioned at her with his head for her to follow him. Pyro walked silently down the hall, hearing her footsteps following behind him. After a few moments Pyro spoke. "So, what brings you out here tonight?"

Pyro motioned for Maddie to follow him, so she did. She walked after him for a few minutes, him, not saying anything. Finally, the boy spoke up and asked what had brought Maddie out tonight. "Well... boredom, I guess." she replied with a slight laugh.
Maddie actually had been very boredm which was really no suprise to her, since she always was on nights like these, when she couldn't find anyone good to talk to. She was happy that she had found Pyro to talk, however. It could pass time quite nicely. "So," started Maddie. "Where do you plan on going?" she asked curiously.

"Boredom huh? Thats always a good reason." Pyro answered her. Boredom was a good motivator, it always seemed to get him moving. Pyro moved down the hall and soon came to a 4 way intersection of the halls. He stopped and looked down each of the hallways.
Just than Madison asked where it was he was going. Pyro pulled out his wand. "To tell you the truth. I have no clue." He spun his wand into the air and let it fall to the ground. Unluckily the wand landed and pointed back in the direction he had just come from. Frowning, Pyro nudged the wand with his foot until it was pointing down the left hallway. "I was actually hopping to just wander around aimlessly. I'm sure that something in this castle would come up and provide some entertainment."
He bent down and picked up his wand. Than turned to Madison. "Come on. It seems as if fate wants us to go this way." Well, maybe not so much fate as in my right foot. He thought to himself as he turned down the hall.

Maddie smirked when Pyro said that he hadn't clue where they were going either. Not that it was a bad thing, she was just glad that he wasn't one of those Slytherins, that thought they were all that, and wouldn't admit something like that. "Well then, I'm glad you you don't know either." she said.
Maddie laughed to herself when Pyro nudged his wand with his foot, in the direction that he chose, and said that that was where fate was to take them. "Alright then, let's go." she said with a small smile, as she followed Pyro down the hallway.
The hall was rather dim, and it seemed pretty deserted. She looked at Pyro, wondering if he was going to say anything, because Maddie really wasn't very good at starting conversations, when she had just met someone. She looked at the many pictures on the wall, as they gave the pair strange looks, smiles, and frowns. She smirked and sneered at some of them, while raising her eyebrows at the expressions they gave back.
