It was a few hours after dinner had ended, and most of the students of Hogwarts were in their common room or dorms getting ready for sleep. Gunther Demas wasn't one of those students. He didn't go to any of his morning classes, he decideded to sleep in instead. So, of course he was wide awake as the hours seemed to get deeper into the night. Sitting in the common room, he reviewed a book about hexes. He was emgrossed by spells and hexes and always wanted to learn as much as he could about the subject. Turning the last page he finished the paragraph. "Waste of time." he mumbled as he threw the book over his shoulder not caring where it would end up. Looking around the dank room, students sat and played wizarding chess as well as a few conversed. Gunther didn't have any really close friends, so he didn't expect anyone to come up to him. Standing up from a chair he made his way toward he porthole. Passing a few fellow fourth years they warned him about Dawn McGrogan, the Slytherin Prefect finding him out of the common room. Brushing the comments off himself, he didn't know Dawn personally and he frankly did not care. He just needed to get out.
As the stone wall closed behind him he went towards his right which lead him deeper into the dungeons. 'Haven't been down here in awhile.' Gun thought as he turned a few more corners somewhat confusing himself in his sense of direction. The deeper he went into the dungeons the darker the corridors seemed to be. He was pushed to go deeper. He wanted to get himself lost. Laughing at his thought he heard something a little farther ahead of him. Stopping he thought for a moment as his mind started to soar. 'What could it be?' an egar grin appeared on his face. Walking into the darkness he felt his foot slip as he suddenly felt himself fall throught the floor. "Whhoooaa!" he roared as he fell for what seemed like two or three stories down. Slamming his body on the ground, at his final stop- he seemed as if he was forced to take out his wand and figure where exactly in the enormous castle he was. "Lumos!" he said as his wand lit the room. He found himself in the middle of a circular room. On his right and left side were two long dark hallways. Pushing himself off the ground he took a moment to figure where he was.

His hands and feet moved in blurs. It was after dinner and the halls were deserted. Pyro had found a empty classroom and had entered it to train. He had been there for nearly an hour and he was comming to the end of his routine. Finishing the final kick of the routine Pyro sat down on one of the desks, breathing heavily and his body drenched in sweat. Picking up his shirt he pressed it to his face removing some sweat of his face. After resting for a moment on the table Pyro stood up and collected his things and exited the classroom. He steped out into the quiet hall and began to walk towards the common room.
He whistled to himself as he walked. Turning a corner he glanced at the wall and moved on, but stoped and came back. A brick in the wall was positioned weird. Pyro pushed it and suddenly the wall slipped away and revealed a tunnel. Pyro looked around and than shruged. Why not? He enetered the tunnel. The tunnel seemed to go on forever in a downard arch. It got so dark that Pyro pulled out his wand to create some light. Finally he found the end of the tunnel and exited into a corrider. Looking both ways Pyro noticed a light in the distance. He walked toward the light and soon steped into a chamber. A boy was standing there. He looked to be Slytherin, older than Pyro, and he looked to be trying to figure out where he was.
"Hey, what's up?" Pyro called to the boy.

The circular room's walls were old. Stone was missing and decomposing in some areas. Dust was falling everywhere from the looks of Gun's wand. Turning around in his stepps, he scanned the room. A desk was at a wall. Shackles were placed at another wall. Two fire sconces were placed at either end of the room. Walking to one, Gunther lit it. Pointing to the other it ignited as well. "Nox." he spoke as he turned off his wand light. The two sconces supplied plenty of light. With his wand still in hand he walked up to the desk. Setting his hand on the drawer just about to open it, he heard a voice. Shooting his head to where the voice echoed off the walls, he saw a wand light. " Eh, Nothing. Who are you?" Gunther drilled guardedly. He didn't know if it was a student or some random person. The voice sounded as a young boy.

The boy Pyro had called to looked startled. He shot Pyro a question. Pyro decided to put the boy's question on hold for a moment as he stepped into the chamber and looked around at the contents. He looked over at the shackles and couldn't help but wonder if maybe this was a area that Filch used to conduct his punishments back in the "Old glory days", as he put it.
After a quick scan of the chamber Pyro began to walk over to the boy. The boy was standing by a desk and looked like he was about to open one of the drawers. Maybe this boy knew this area and visited it often. "The names Pyro, I'm a slytherin 3rd year." He said to the boy. He looked the boy up and down. "And judging from your robes your a slytherin also. So, do you come here often? Or did you just stumble in here like I have?"

Watching the guy walk in Gunther stoodup straight as he eyed him up. "First time. I fell in actually." Gunther said as he pointed up to the hole in the celing showing how he got into the room. "I'm Gunther. But call me Gun. I'm a fourth year." Nodding his head in a greeting Gunther took out his wand and pointed it towards the hall where Pyro came from. "Where does that lead to?" He asked as he turned on the light on his wand. "So, how did you get in here? See a door or something?" He asked as he looked down the never ending hallways, as it seemed. Gunther didn't know Pyro, nor has he ever seen him before. That shows how big the castle was as well as the Common Room. Turning around he walked back to the desk where he was before. Putting his hand on the drawer he tryed pulled it open. Pulling it twice, it seemed stuck. Bending down to eye level, he noticed it was locked shut. Holding his wand in front of the lock he spoke, "Aloramora." the drawer didn't budge.
"Hey, Do you see a key around?" he asked as she stood back up and looked at Pyro. "When things are locked against wands in Hogwarts, normaly there are things people don't want others to see inside of it." Grinning, Gunther looked around the desk for a spare key.

"Hmm?" Pyro looked up at the ceiling and at the hole the boy showed him. "Heck of a fall there." He remarked as the boy introduced himself as Gunther. Gunther? Gunther? Pyro had never met him before, hadn't even run into him once during his three years in Hogwarts.
Pyro turned and looked back at the hall he entered from as Gun inquired about it. Pyro shrugged. "Don't really know actually. A short way in there is a secrete passage which leads back up to the main ground of the castle. I found it by accident sort of, decided to explore, ended up here."
Pyro stepped closer and watched as Gunther attempted to open the drawer using a spell. The drawer didn't seem to respond. Gun than asked him if he saw a key. "A key? Let me look." Pyro walked around and looked at the ground to see if maybe he could spot anything. He was at the other end of the chamber and still found nothing.
"Nope, don't see a k...." He stopped short. A brick under his foot had just shifted. "Hmm?" Kneeling down Pyro saw a crack running around the brick just big enough to let him slip his fingers through. He carefully lifted up the brick to reveal a hole in the ground. Looking down the hole Pyro noticed a metallic glint.
Reaching down and pulling it out he noticed it was a key. "Hey, this might be it." He remarked standing up and making his way back to Gun, handing him the key.

Gunther looked on the opposite wall of Pyro. The two meeting up in the middle would be their best bet. Looking on the book self, behind books, inside of the covers. Gunther found nothing. Turning around and looking at Pyro he saw him on the ground. "Humm... lets see." he said as he went over to the desk. Putting the key in the lock, it slipped in. Turning it to the right, it didn't move. Turning it to the Left, the lock turned as well as they key in Gunther's hand.*click* the lock unlocked as Gun looked at Pyro. "Now that was easy enough." He remarked as he pulled the drawer open. Inside the drawer was a wooden box. And of course, it was closed by a locked. Picking it up, he showed it to Pyro. "Of course." he said sarcasticly as he tryed the key on this new box. And to his luck the key would not fit. "Well, another key is hidden somewhere." Gun said apatheticly. "This room is boring to me. How about we bring the box and go see where this hall leads us. How about it?" Gunther asked as he began to walk down the dark hall oppisite of Pyro's entrance.
(( Yeah, just starting to get back into posting. Excuse my lack of responce and horrid writting. It will get better, I hope. ))

Pyro used the light from his wand to watch Gunther as he placed the key in the lock. The lock clicked open and Gunther pulled out a box from within the drawer. The box had another lock on it and the key would not fit this one. Pyro smirked. "Should have known it wasn't that easy." He remarked in the same tone as Gunther.
Than Gunther said the room was boring him and he wanted to go see where the chamber lead. He asked if Pyro wanted to come along. Shrugging Pyro answered if "Sure, why not. Sounds interesting." He turned with Gunther and headed off to the into the hall. They walked down the dark hallway for a minute and than Pyro turned his attention to the box in Gunther's hands. "So, what do you suppose is in the box? Does it feel heavy or not?"
