Maddie walked around the halls, headed toward the library. She had two big tests coming up, and she did not want to flunk them. As she strolled into the library, she noticed that it was pretty crowded, filled with other students studying and doing homewor and reading and what not. She found a free table, in the back of the library, and sat down.
She set her bag down, in the chair next to her, and took out her books, notebook, papers, and a quill. She also had homework, that she might as well get done now. She oepned her books, and began writing notes, that would help her study in a few moments.

Caiest grabbed her bag and made her way to the library. Studying was such a bore but seeing as how she hadn't attended classes in forever and tests coming up it seemed like a good idea to study. Walking into the library she winced. It was way to crowded for it's own good. It seemed as if every table was taken up by several people. It was almost claustorphobic there were so many people. Caiest sighed and plunged ahead looking for the least crowded table available.
She found a table in the very back with only one person sitting there. It was a Slytherin. She wasn't in good graces with the slytherins as of this moment but she didn't have a problem with this one as she'd never met her before. It was either sit there and hope this one didn't hate her or fail the tests. Deciding that good grades were a must Caiest made her way over. "Excuse me do you mind if I sit here?" She asked politely pointing to an empty chair.

Maddie was interupted from her thoughts by a girl, who asked if she could sit with her. She looked up at the girl, to see if she seemed familier. Well, not familier at all, but she was a Ravenclaw, that she could tell by the robes. Well, she was a Ravenclaw, and Ravenclaw weren't that bad. So, she decided to give her a chance, since it didn't really look like there were any other tables free. "Umm... sure." she replied.
"Hey, I'm Madiosn Kenacheak." she said simply, extended her. She really that this Ravenclaw was at least up to Maddie's standerds. Otherwise, she'd kind of be in trouble, since Maddie already told her that she could sit with her, and she would be forced to be nice to this girl.

Caiest noticed the girl hesitate. She was probably debating whether or not Caiest was worth the trouble. Caiest really hoped that the slytherin would say yes. Caiest was extremely claustorphobic and if she couldn't sit here then there was no where for her to go study. Luckily the girl decided to give her a chance. Caiest gratefully sat down and took out her books.
When the slytherin introduced herself as Madison and extended her hand Caiest hesitated. It could be a trick the slytherin could be just being nice so she could copy her homework. Caiest mentally shook her head. No she was just being overly paranoid after what had happened the last time she was friends with a slytherin. Caiest took the offered hand. "Caiest Raven nice to meet you. Thank you for letting me sit here as there aren't really any other places to sit." She said and opened her book to the page she needed to study.

The girl introduced herself as Caiest Raven, and she thanked Maddie for letting her sit with her. Maddie gave her a short smile. She wasn't really sure weather to be nice to this girl or not. "Well, seeing as there was no other place, I thought you might as well sit here." she told the girl.
She noticed that the girl had already opened her book, and it seemed that she was ready to study. 'Well,' she thought to herself. 'Here goes nothing...' "So," she spoke up again. "What are you studying for?" Maddie, herself was studying for Transfiguration, and Charms. Most of the time, Maddie had been quite good at Charms, but she was starting to slip, and Tranfiguration, she was really never that good at.

Caiest looked up from her book as Maddie asked what she was studying for. "Oh I'm brushing up on my Transfiguration and Potions." She said showing Maddie the Transfiguration book cover. "It's not that I'm bad at the subject it's just that I haven't exactly gone to classes lately and there's a test coming up. I figured I should at least review the subject so I don't end up failing you know?" Caiest shrugged slightly before setting the book back down on the table. "What about you? What are you here for?"

The girl asked what Maddie was studying for, and Maddie replied, "Oh, I'm studying for Tranfiguration, and Charms. I'm rather good at Charms, but I've been slipping a bit, and, let's just say that Transfiguration, was really never my best subject." she said with a laugh. She wondered if this would just be a one time thing, that the two girls would study together, but never talk again. She also wondered, if this was a starting of a friendship. She didn't know how she felt about that however, she had only been friends with Ravenclaw once in the past, it didn't work out though.
Maddie sighed and relized, since the girl was already there, then she must be expecting to study with her. "Well, I'm actually rather good at Potions, so if you need help in that category, I guess I wouldn't mind helping you out a bit. Also, since we're both studying for Transfiguration, would you like to study with me? I'm sure I could probably use your help." she said with a smile.

Caiest smiled as the girl asked if she'd like her help in potions and if they'd like to study transfiguration together. "I've got the potions down unlike most people I actually enjoy that class so this is more of a review for me when it comes to that subject." She debated declining the offer to study Transfiguration together. She didn't want Madison to think she was completely inept when it came to course work. On the other hand Madison admited to not being the best at it either. Caiest decided it couldn't hurt to study the subject together. Two minds are better then one and all that junk. "Sure I'd like to study Transfiguration with you after all I'm sure between the two of us we'll be able to get the general gist of it."
