The strawberries were brought to her and she took them from the houself with a smile, and sat down next to Jack. Dipping the strawberries into the powdered sugar she took a bite and chewed thoughtfully- savouring the sweet lucious taste. Mack finished her last strawberry and looked at the powdered sugar left in the bowl. A mischevious grin crawled across her lips and she picked up the bowl, "A horrible thing to waste, sugar is. I mean- it has uses in many foods and things. Cakes, coookies, and all those foods. But, it also makes, a pretty good-" Mack tilted the sugar bowl over Jack's head and then watched as it fell onto his dark hair. Mack giggled and continued, "thing to pour on your friends." She looked at Jack with an innocent smile and waited for a counter reaction. Wondering if one would come at all.

Jack smiled at Mack and took a sip of his butterbeer as Mack talked about sugar. He suddenly felt sugar pouring down on his head. He looked up and some got in his eyes. "AARGH! Mack!" He said while jumping up and shaking his head. He grinned at her and picked up his butterbeer. "Thirsty, Mack?" He asked before pouring some out onto her head. It fell into her golden hair, making it look more brown than gold. He smirked at her and then said, "I think I missed your mouth, though." He grinned and took a sip of the butterbeer still in his tankard; he hadn't spilled it all on Mack's head. He continued to shake his head until he almost got all the sugar out and then looked at Mack. "If you don't like butterbeer in your hair and on your clothes, go ahead and clean it up." He said with a small smile. The house elves were looking disapprovingly in their direction. He turned his gaze back at Mack, wondering if she would turn it into a food fight.

It was only an amount of time when the liquid of butterbeer was seeping through her clothes and sticking to her. Her mouth dropped and she stared at Jack, who was smiling and drinking the rest of his butterbeer. Mack narrowed her eyebrows and walked to the end of the kitchen, going through the cupboards and coming up with a can of cocoa powder. She uncapped it, only to breathe in a whiff and sneeze; luckily she had turned away from the can, "As delicous as butterbeer is, dear Jack," Mack said slowly as she pulled out her wand and did wingardium leviosa. The can floated into the air and towards Jack, "I much perfer hot cocoa." And she let the can drop onto Jack's head.

Jack smirked at Mack, wondering what she was going to do now. He was soon answered as hot cocoa fell on his head. Jack cried out but started laughing as soon as the small amount of pain had gone. "Yes, well...I don't really like hot cocoa..." He stood up and began rummaging through the food. "I much prefer..." he stood up, hiding what he had behind his back. He walked up to Mack, holding a bottle behind his back that held barbecue sauce. He unscrewed the lid and held it over Mack's head. The only problem was nothing came out; it was frozen. Jack tried to make it come out-but nothing came. "Oh, darn!" Jack said, dropping the bottle onto the floor. "Looks like you won't get to try BBQ sauce after all, dear Mack." he said, as he sat down in a seat nearby.

Her mouth dropped open in complete surprise, "You don't like hot cocoa? How could you not like hot cocoa?!" Makc asked- not bothering to hide the surprise in her voice. When he got his next choice of food or food product, he tried to pour it on Mack's head, but it wouldn't come out. Mack laughed as Jack sat down, saying she wouldn't be able to try barbeque sauce after all. Mack sat down beside him and grinned, "Who ever heard of freezing barbeque sauce anyway? I always kept it in a cupboard not a freezer."

Jack grinned at Mack as she sat down next to him. "Same here. Who knows what these house-elves do anyway." he said, waving his hand at the elves that were looking appalled. He gave them a smile before putting his feet on top of the table as a foot-rest. Jack put his hands behind his head and laid there for a few moments, relaxing. He closed his eyes, even though he wasn't tired. It felt good to just lay there without any problem in the world; or at least forget the problems. Jack sighed loudly and then opened and eye to look at Mack.
"Hey, you know how you told me you were confused like an hour ago about two things? One was being Molly and the other was about me. What was the one about your's truly? I could help you on that one, considering I know everything about me." He grinned at her, but he couldn't help but feel a small amount of curiosity. What was Mack confused about Jack? Had he done something wrong that had hurt her? Oh gosh, I hope not... He opened both of his eyes and then shifted his body to face Mack, anticipating her reply.

Mack laughed and looked at her hair, which was sticky with butterbeer- "Ah, alas, they aren't the only weird ones around here." She said with a point of reference to themselves. She smiled and shifted in her seat- sitting criss cross on the bench. She listened to Jack for a moment- her confusion apparent on her face. Not only was she acting- which she was doing good at- she was going to lie as well.
"What ever are you talking about, Jack? Are feeling okay? I think the sugar and hot cocoa has given you brain damage." She told him with a small giggle. She wasn't going to give in and tell him what was on her mind. The only person who made her give in was Dix, and that was only a little bit. There was no way Mack was going to tell Jack what was confusing her so terribly.

Jack raised an eyebrow slightly. He wasn't exactly sure if Mack really was pretending to be confused and lie; but if she was, he wouldn't bring the subject up again. Jack decided that Mack must be lying, since he remembered clearly enough Mack stating the two things she was confused about; Molly and him, Jack. "You sure? Who knows, maybe I did have to much sugar and hot cocoa poured onto my head!" He said giving Mack a playful smack. Jack shook his head slightly and watched as sugar fell out of his hair.
"Please, is my hair white or brown?" Jack asked as he ran his fingers through it. It felt like it would be snow white, but considering he had brown hair it might look like he had just dunked his head into snow.

Mack smiled and ruffled Jack's hair before looking at her hand, "It's more like tan, because of the cocoa powder. Don't worry you don't look like you're albino." She told him with a giggle.
Mack bit her lip and smiled again, her blue eyes flickering around, looking at anything and everything- "So...." She said slowly, tapping her fingers on the table.

Jack grinned as Mack ruffled his hair. Some more sugar came out and fell onto the floor. "Great!" Jack said with fake excitement. "That's what I always wanted to be!" He laughed slightly and then drank what was left of his butterbeer. Mack seemed to want to change the topic to something else, so Jack decided to play along for now.
"Care to go back out in the rain? I could do with a good wash." He laughed again but he didn't stand. His position was quite comfortable at the moment, but movinig around would be better than just sitting here. "Have any other ideas that could pass the time? I don't know about you, but I'm not really tired."

Mack smiled- her dimples showing, which was rare. She stood up and wiped the cocoa off her hands as she pulled Jack out of his rather comfortable looking position, "To the rain! Do you know how hard it is to get butterbeer out of hair? I can't believe you did that." She smirked at him before heading towards the door.
She headed back to the entrance hall and stepped out into the rain again, she danced in a circle- her face turned upward to the sky and smiling with joy, "It's wonderful when you want to get clean!" Mack said with a giggle. She stopped spinning and looked at Jack, "We'll get a cold if we stay out here too long though." She told him with a frown.
