Drumming his fingers on the railing of the stair-case Kris impassively stared down towards the Entrance hall where the younger years were milling around anxiously. It was Friday so the chattering was louder than usual. Biting off the head of a chocolate, frog Kris finished the sweet off calmly. He had skipped his last lessons and went off to Hogsmeade indeed. He had had some unfinished business there.
Deciding he really wasn’t in the mood for that annoying chatting going on in the Entrance Hall as all those little Gryffies and Huffies were waiting for dinner to start – weren’t they fed at home? – Kris turned around and walked up the staircase with his black cloak with silvery linings flowing after him. Not a cloak for school most certainly, but it was god enough to go visiting Hogsmeade, even though it certainly wasn’t Kris best. The inhabitants of Hogsmeade were all narrow-minded and obeying to the old fool Dumbledore, so they didn’t really even deserve anything better.
Walking down the hallways Kris reached a fellow Slytherin fifth year. Kris didn’t really know her very well, but she seemed a bit too good sometimes. None the less she was a pure-blood and a Slytherin so Kris nodded to her shortly: “Lydia.” Before starting to pass the girl in the hallway.

" Out of my way!" commanded Lydia as she pushed the younger Gryffindor out of her way. She watched as the girl fell to the floor. Hearing her whimper, a smile formed across Lydia's face. Causing misery to Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors was becoming a favoriate past time for her. Why did they let these muggleborns, less than animals in her opinion, roam free throughout the school? They shouldn't be allowed to cross the path of regal pure bloods.
Finally getting around the gaggle of Gryffindors, she saw Kris Graas, a fellow Slytherin, walk down the hall. Relieved to see another Slytherin, she smiled genially as he acknowledged his presence. " Lovely day, isn't Kris? Of course, it would be better if they kept the lower forms of life locked up, but unfortunately, I'm not in charge of that." As she said this, a sneer appeared at the corners of her mouth and her head nodded towards the group of Gryffindors.

Kris stopped as Lydia spoke to her and eyed the fifth year girl emotionlessly. For once she seemed to be without the colour spot all over her. But Kris knew Lydia as a relatively nice girl – meaning, that she used her wand to teach the low-lives of this school a lesson rarely. Maybe that was why her comment made Kris a little curious. Had her eyes really opened and she understood how much better she was; and that she had the duty of reminding the worthless mudbloods their place?
“Prove it,” Kris’s voice was barely above an icy whisper, but it carried to Lydia easily, “You haven’t shown yourself as someone ready to shove these freaks into their places. So prove that you actually think it.”
Kris’s eyes swept over the hallway that had started to empty as the students were finally been let into the Great Hall for dinner. There were still some milling around but so were some professors – this place wouldn’t do certainly.
“I’m sure we can find some lowlife for you to teach them a lesson,” Kris’s voice held some sarcasm – he wasn’t completely sure Lydia would have what it takes for it inside her. Unlike himself, Lydia seemed to be pretty fairly tempered. Letting his words to sink in Kris turned and started walking away – Lydia would come if she had the makings of a true Slytherins, as she wouldn’t be able to say no to the possibility then.

Lydia eyes raised as Kris dared her to " Prove it" as he said. Lydia almost laughed as Kris began to walk away from the Great Hall. " What?! Afriad of some professors. If just can't believe you, Kris Graas, who has such a penchant for trouble, is afraid to take out some mudbloods in front of professors. Well, if you insist on going to another place, I guess we can." Finally following him, her heels clicked on the stone floor as she walked. She couldn't believe it!
Following Kris down the hallway, she kept turning her head to the left and right, looking for her prey. Suddenly stopping, she touched Kris lightly on the shoulder and pointed at two Hufflepuff girls busily talking in a corner. Putting her finger to her lips, she gave the impression she wanted him to be silent. Both of the girls wre huddled over what looked like a dilapidated spell book with their wands out. Smiling wickedly, she commanded, " Expiliarmus! Both of the girls wands flew out of there hands and across the hallway. Both of them looked up in surprise as Lydia glowered down at them. Pointing her wand at the redhead, she commanded, " Flippendo!" The girl shot into the air and landed heavily on the ground. Beginning to snivel, Lydia cackled whole heartedly. She couldn't believe what fun she was having!
Watching the blong girl try to take flight out of the corner of her eye, she said a spell that made the girl stop in her tracks. Smiling sweetly at Kris, she said, " I'm busy with this one. Woud you do the honors with the other mudblood?"

Kris didn’t show any reaction as Lydia tried to irritate him with the comment of him being afraid of the professors. With Kris’s record of trouble, it actually wasn’t an issue, but Kris didn’t bother to get that straight. Besides as often as it was good to be thought smarter than you were, as often it paid of even better when people underestimated you. “Yet you are still following me,” Kris pointed out dryly, stopping calmly when Lydia saw two Hufflepuffs. Lydia casted a rather nice Flippendo, but Kris arched an eye-brow when she asked him to take care of the second one: “What, can’t handle two worthless worms?”
With a flick of his wrist Kris’s wand was out and both girl flew to the ceiling where they were shackled with one more quick charm. Adding powerful ‘Silencio’ spell Kris walked down one more hallway and smiled upon seeing a Hufflepuff walking down the hallway. Whistling sharply as if calling for a dog, Kris opened the door to a near-by classroom and mentioned for the Hufflepuff to get in: “We would like to have a quick… chat… with you.” Stepping into the classroom first Kris walked over the room and positioned himself calmly on one of the window-sills. He would watch Lydia work on this one. It was always harder to torture and attack, if the other was expecting which this girl certainly would be. Even Hufflepuffs wouldn’t be thick enough not to expect an attack now. It was the way Lydia would choose to attack that interested Kris – would she go for the over-used physical violence or the much more hurtful use of hurting the Hufflepuff verbally first. It took a lot more practice and skill to do the second, but Kris would stay silent and let Lydia set the course of action.

Laura was flipping through the pages of her potions book worriedly. Where on earth had she placed her drawing of those two Gryffindors conversing? The opportunity to draw them had been so good but now the picture seemed to be gone without any trace.
Walking down the hallway Laura practically jumped out of her skin when she heard a sharp whistle as her potions book landed on the floor with a crash. Turning around quickly Laura didn’t start to feel any better. Who would feel good or content in the company of two older Slytherins? And these two – a boy, who had obviously whistled, and the girl were obviously older. Picking up her book Laura hugged it to her chest protectively. She didn’t really want to think whether she was protecting the book or tried to reassure herself, but she swallowed and tentatively walked closer stopping near the door of an empty classroom where that boy had entered.
“I think I’m fine here and I’m rather sure I can’t help you with anything, so I should really be on my way,” Laura said helplessly and made a move as if to leave.
