Lina fixed her reading glasses, as she walked down the cold corridor. She looked down at her History of Magic Book, skimming over the notes. It wasn't her best class, mainly because she was always falling asleep. Which was what she was doing now. A slight rustle made her jump, but is was only Mrs. Norris. Lina twitched her lip, and walked on forwrard, down the long corridor. Lina always felt better when she studied doing something other than sitting alone in a room peering over words that caught no interest to her. So her idea of studying was to wander the halls late at night and keep her nose in a book while trying to avoid being caught by someone important.
Another sound caught Lina's ear, and quickly she hid behind a statue. Peering intently over the cold statues' arm, she saw a small house elf skip past her, a bowl of water held over it's head. When she was assured that the house elf was far from where she stood, she released the breath that she had been holding in. She slowly removed herself from behind the suit of armor, and began to walk down the hall once more. The only noise that remained now was the sound of Lina's soft footsteps and the muttered of her voce as she reread the words in her book. Pushed her wand deeper behind her ear so that it wouldn't fall of. The light it exerted jumped up and down a bit then finally rested when Lina was finished.
She looked around for a minute wondering where exactly she was, truthfully she had spent the last hour turning which every way she pleased and now, she finally felt that she was lost. Lina turned around, and looked over the area. "Oh.. goody..." She muttered to herself, as a slight rustle filled the area. Line ignored it and only saw it as her imagination. Maybe if she continued forward, she would find a familiar hall. Continuing forward, she looked down at her book, and once again became indulged in it. Lina slammed her book closed, a few seconds later. She definitely heard something down the hall, and it was not Mrs. Norris. She removed her glasses, and stared down the hallway, looking for the source of the sound.

Justin looked around. It was late and he was off exploring, trying to finish his map. He looked down at it and pulled out his wand. " Lumos" He said, and his wand lit at the end. He read it and realized that he still had a few floors to add. He unlit his wand and put his map away. He then put his invisibtility cloak on. He took off and went down the stairs.
As he walked down the stairs, Justin noticed all of his surroundings. There were a few paintings that were'nt sleeping, but most of 'em were. He shrugged and continued walking down the stairs. He heard a familiar, 'meow' and he turned around. There was Ms. Norris. Justin hastily ran away, and used a secret passage to get two floors down. As soon as he was sure that he was away from the annoying cat, he looked around and saw that he was on one of the few floors that he had'nt mapped yet.
Walking down the corridor, he heard something ahead of him and stopped. He was sure that it was his imagination. He continued walking, but then he heard foot-steps ahead of him. Wondering who was wandering around this late at night, he sped up, and saw that it was girl. He recognized her from tyhe common-room, for she was a Gryffindor, and if he remembered correctly, she was about two yeas younger than him. He stood in front of her, then took off his invisibility cloak and said " Hi, your name's Lina, right? What are you doing out so late?"

Lina slowly back away from the approaching sound, then suddenly it stopped. Again it's my imagination, she thought as she removed her wand from behind her ear, and exthinguised the light that poured from it. If someone was still around here, then she'd be an easy target if they already spotted the light. Of course this didn't help the situation she was still in.
She quickly placed her book into a pocket inside her robe, and began to walk away from the sound she had heard earlier. Suddenly, she stopped, and saw something ruffle in front of her, then Justin appeared from now where.
Lina was abruptly taken aback, and stumbled to the ground as she staggered backwards from surprise. Her heartbeat began to rush back to it's normal rate when Justin began to speak to her. She was worried that he might have been a prefect or headboy, but now she knew he wasn't.
"You're quite a fickle to be so calm at this time." She said, but then again he had an invisibilty cloak so he didn't have to worry about being caught. "Studying..." She said, returning to his other question, "How about you?" She said, rebounding the question back to Justin.

Justin laughed as he saw the expression on Lina's face. Smiling, he said, " Me, worry, what have I got to worry about? Well, besides Filch, and Snape, what else do I have to worry about?" He did'nt know whether he should tell her or not. He looked her up and down, judging whether she would blab or not. He shrugged and said " Okay, I'm out here making a map of the school, and checking on my secret stashes." He leaned against the wall and watched her intently.
He then spoke once more, and said " WHo studies this late?" He was wondering this because noone in their rihgt mind would think studying so late. He looked at her with waiting eyes, and stood tyhere tapping his foot.

Lina tapped her fingers together aimlessly as she listened to Justin speak, "Well... apparently I'm the only one who studies this late." She said sheepishly as she stared off down a corridor. It occured to her how erratic it sounded, but nevertheless it was something that Lina did, something she's probably continue doing.
She stared at Justin, wondering how he had gotten here, and if he had been seen. If he did, that no doubt meant that someone was already on their way and that obviously wasn't good for the pair of them.
But Lina was a bit happy that she had met Justin, finally she had met someone who knew the hallways of Hogwarts. And maybe if she played her cards right, she would get some knowledge of it as well. Besides, she wasn't going to blab in the first place, she wasn't a snitch.
"Well then... with that map... could you tell me where the bloody hell I am. AND how to get out of here, I doubt you've gotten this far without at least someone or something noticing you." Lina said in a hushed tone, as to not arouse anyone suspicion, if there was anyone there. She decided to ask about his secret stash later, if it was as significant as she expected it to be.

justin winked and said, " Studying is good for you, when Hermione graduates, I'm guessing you'll be the new Hermione, now about this whole lost thing." He pulled out his map and said, " Well your on the second floor, and the eastern wing of it to. The stairs are a little ways back that way, but there is a secret passage there," He pointed at the spot that he had come from, " that lead back to the sixth floor. Oh, and Ms. Norris heard me, but did'nt see me." He then said, if you want, I'll give you a tour of school during the night. SO do ya?"
As he waityed for her answer, Justin looked around and heard foot-steps, they were quiet, but they were deffinately foot-steps. Not wanting to find ou if it was Filch, Justin grabbed Lina's hand and ran around the corner, away from the steps. He then threw the invisibility cloak around both of them.

Lina placed her hands on her hips and stared at Justin hard, "Mrs. Norris heard you! That means that Filch is no doubt already on your tail." She said sharply as she turned around, and stared down the dark corridor. No sound protruded from it so that pair of them were safe, at the moment at least.
"A tour of the school eh?" Lina muttered as the tension relased itself from within her. She didn't have to worry about getting caught, well at the moment. As Lina always did, she turned the question over in her head, studying the pros and cons. On the plus side, this would help her, but on the negative side, she'd get caught. There were millions of other reasons, but apparently now wasn't the time to consider it.
The sound of footsteps resonated throughout the hallway. They weren't rapid, but calm as if trying not to bring any suspiscion upon itself. Lina's heart began to race, then suddenly, Justin grabbed her hand and pulled her away from the area. Lina gasped, as she watched her book fall to the ground, "No wa-" But it was already to late, because Filch was already close enough to see them. Justin threw his invisibility cloak over them hiding them from the naked eye. Lina held her breathe, and stumbled slightly backwards in Justin as Filch began shone his lantern over the area. "Please don't see the book... Please don't see the book..." She muttered to herself.

Justin said " Stay here. He took the cloak and walked around the corner. He then went behind Filch and pulled an Ink pellet out of his pocket, he let it soar, and it hit a vase near the end of the hall, knocking over a vase. justin heard Filch mutter Peeves and he watched as he ran off. Justin quickly grabbed the book, and ran back around the corner. he wrapped the cloak back around her, and started walking down the hall. he grinned and said, " Now that was'nt so hard, was it?"

A heavy sigh of relief escaped Lina's lips as she grasped the book against her chest. That was too close, yet so thrilling she really needed to spend more times in the hallways after hours. She chuckled a bit to herself as she replayed the event in her head, it was in a way funny, sort of. Something about the fear of getting caught stimulated humor and excitment within a person.
"Thanks and sorry about that..." Lina muttered as she kept up with Justin's pace as they walked down the halls, invisible to the naked eye. She stared down the unfamiliar corridor, and finally muttered, "Where we off to?" her voice was low and hushed as she tried to stifle her excitment during a whisper.

Justin felt the familiar excitement of almost getting caught. It felt so great to be out after hours agian. He looked at Lina, and grinned, then winked at her. He continued looking forward as they headed down the hall way, and began to ponder on the question that Lina had asked, yes where were they going. (( Hmm,)) he thought, (( how about I show her my stash or maybe I could, nah, stash i is.)) he looked back at Lina and said " Okay, I'm taking you to one of my secret stashes, that is if it is alright with you. He continued walking wondering if she would be willing to go or not. SUddenly he stopped, looked at her and awaited her answer.
