Susan hurried toward the Great Hall, hoping to get some breakfast in before she had to be to her first class. She had overslept that day, and still in the wrinkled skirt and shirt she had found that morning, she knew she was the target of any slytherin that would cross her path. Seeing a very handsome boy across the hallway, she averted her gaze and continued on her path. Oh god, he was a Slytherin, she thought to herself.
Blood rushed to her cheeks as she hoped he hadn't noticed her. Walking towards the doors that led to the hall, she dropped her books. Angry, she stamped her foot on the floor and began to pick up her dropped belongings.

Aden wandered down the halls towards the Great hall. It was breakfast time and he was hungry. The only downside to the Great hall was you had to share it wit the rest of the students of the school. That ment eating among Mudbloods. Luckilly Slytherin house didnt allow for any impure blood so the Slytherin table was clear of that filth.
Aden slipped through the crowd of people and made it to the door of the Great Hall. Only to find it blocked. He looked down at the girl who appeared to have dropped her books and was now franticly picking them up. Her robes identified her as a Hufflepuff and she looked about a year older than him. Not that it mattered. She was blocking his way and it was annoying him.
Aden steped up behind her and cleared his throat in a annoyed manner. "Your blocking my way. Move." He said with a forcefull tone.

Susan stood up and turned around to see who was talking to her. Oh god, it was the cute guy...
Susan smiled warmly at the Slytherin boy, but she wasn't going to let his rudeness go unnoticed. " Sure, I'll get out of your way, but not because you asked." Looking him up and down, she met him dead in the eye. " So, a Slytherin outside of the dungeon. Slumming it today, huh?"

He narrowed his eyes at her. "Last I checked, I didnt ask you." His eyes became even narrower at her dungeon comment.
"Yes, unfortunatly to be able to get through life I generaly have to come out here and interact with the low lifes."

Susan snickered a life. " Low lifes? I have a different definition of what a low life is." She looked the Slytherin boy up and down, trying to size him up. He looked familiar, but she couldn't quite place where she knew him from.
She cocked her head to the left and asked, " Do I know you from somewhere? Does someone from your family work for the ministry? My aunt is Amelia Bones so I'm up at the ministry alot." She said this matter of factly, trying to get a straight answer out of the boy. She knew the boy would hear her family name and think it was ploy to get parentage involved in the converastion. Well, it was. She knew Slytherins took blood purity above all else, and she really wasn't in the mood to be called a mudblood. She hated that fould word. Mudblood. It really irrated her when people used the word so casually, as if it was acceptable in polite conversation.

His eyes narrowed at her. All thoughts for food where forgotten. "Well don't worry, your definition is worth much in the world." The fact that she didn't recognize him surprised him. He had hardly ever seen anybody and they hadn't recognized him off the bat.
She mentioned her family. The Bones family. Aden had heard of them, but didn't pay them much heed. He stared at her. "What on earth makes you think I care who your family is or what it is they do? And if you must know, my name is Aden. Aden McGrogan." He watched to see her reaction.
