Dana laughed as he was spinned around dand following the quick dance-steps let out a joyous laughter as she twirled with the guy. Not very many people could dance this well to the quick latin beats as this Gryffindor. He was an older year – probably graduating soon – but he certainly knew how to dance. Letting her short black skirt spread out with the last quick spin Dana and the boy ended the dance laughing and happy. As they ended the dance the music in the corridor died down and other students turned back to revising for class or moving down the hallway. Changing some more words with the older boy, who seemed a bit shyer now, Dana turned with a broad grin on her face. She loved dancing and it was even better when you had a worthy partner.
Not having to wear the uniform wasn’t bad either Dana mused glancing at his outfit with a grin. It consisted of a special short black skirt that reached her mid-thighs and was meant specially for latin-dances and a blue top with some sparkles on it to match the shirt and the small snitch swinging from her belly-button once again. Tugging at the small decoration playfully Dana moved forward with small clicks of her high stiletto heals accompanying her and enjoying the fact that for once she had absolutely no classes to rush to thanks to an explosion that had taken place in Potions.
Taking a sip of cold water from her water-bottle Dana noticed a familiar face from a window-reflection and spun around on her heel with a grin already adoring her face. “Cass! Where have you been, girl? It really has been way too long since we last had a real conversation! And we still haven't had that all girl's night,” Dana greeted the third year Gryffindor cheerily.

Cass was starting to feel like a complete and total nerd. For weeks now, she had been nose deep in transfiguration work. She had to admit, the animagi work was extremely stressful and very exhaustive. Seh was sure she hadn't been to sleep before midnight ever since she started this endeavor. It was going to be worth it. She had wanted to be animagi ever since McGonogall's first class, but was afraid she wasn't going to get a chance. Not only could she not afford to go one of those fancy camps Kris had talked about, she wasn't a pure blood so it was a fat chance she was going to get in. Taking a moment to look at her reflection in the mirror, she found out she was starting to look a bit pasty. Frowning at herself, she jumped when she heard Dana call her name.
" OH, hey, Dana. Yeah, I've been a little hard to reach since I started the extra lessons with Professor McGonogall. Not much time for anything other than school work and Quidditch." Her back was visibly hunched over from all the transfiguration books she had slung over her shoulder. Also, her now short hair looked a little disheveled. She smiled up at Dana appreciatively.
" Yeah, a girl's night out sound great. I could really use some R and R if you know what I mean. Why don't you show me where that elusive prefect's bathroom is? I"ve gotta see the luxury that awaits whoever enters there."

“Animagi transformations are difficult. And dangerous,” Dana answered with a smile adoring her face, “But everyone has to relax sometimes. If you don’t relax, then you might get careless and that can end badly.”
Reaching over Dana ran a knuckle down Cass’s spine to stop her from hunching over. It always made Dana straighten up if someone did it to her. Even though Dana had a straight back most of the time: “And you certainly look like you need some rest and relaxation.”
Dana waved to a friend who they passed on their way: “Yup, let’s go the prefects bathroom. But I want swimming-clothes for that and wouldn’t you like to drop off your books? You know what – I’ll meet you in front of the Great Hall in 15 minutes, OK?”
Dana grinned and sped off, grapping her swimming clothes, Ravenclaw jumper and a pair of comfortable pants, before moving to the kitchens and let the house-elves pack fruits, chocolate and different snacks and drinks into a huge basket for them. Casting a levitating charm on the basket so it would float after her Dana went to meet Cass. Catching up with the third year Gryffindor again Dana grinned happily and pointed towards the basket over her shoulder: “Got some snacks for us as well. Ready to go? The prefect bathroom is this way. So what else is new with you? Oh, wait I have a news to tell you first. Remember how I told you that my mother ran off with a muggle? That wasn’t entirely the case as it turned out. My father was a squib – from a pure-blooded Swedish family that died out with him, but since he was a squib, then he preferred to live as a muggle. But that makes me a pure-blood though. Doesn’t really change much – even though Kris was thrilled to learn it – but it was interesting to find it out.”
Stopping in front of the mermaid picture Dana gave the password and let Cass enter the huge room first, while continuing: “I just learned it yesterday myself. You are the fourth person to know – Kris and Mary both learned the small fact yesterday. Well, maybe Dumbeldore knows as well – he always seems to know everything.”
Breathing deeply Dana grinned at Cass: “So, what do you think of our little piece of paradise for today? And now tell me of your news.”
((Hope you odn't mind the fact that Dana got the snacks and a change of clothes for 15 minutes. I'm sure Cass survived ))

( No she just died Dana. You killed her ) Cass straightened up immediately when Dana rubbed her knuckles up her spine. It felt great as she finally stood up straight. When Dana said she wanted a swimsuit, she spoke up, " That's a great idea! I'll go grab my swimsuit and some Jelly Beans. You can't believe how wonderful it would to put down these books. See ya in a few." Cass zipped to the 7th floor and grabbed her swimsuit and her ever handy bag of Jelly Beans. Heading back to meet Dana in front of the Great Hall, she was just relieved to get some time away from studies. Meeting Dana again, she listened to the girl as she told the story about her father. Her eyes got big. " Really? He was a squib. Wow, I bet Kris was happy." Cass got really ackward to this information. It wasn't that Dana wasn't her friend, or that it changed anything, she just really didn't know how to respond. She wasn't sure if she was supposed to be happy, sad, or indifferent. Getting to the Prefect's Bathroom, she listened to Dana say the password. Committing it to memory, she entered the awesome bathroom. Marveling at the large tub with many spigots, her job dropped. This was just one more incentive to behave and become a prefect! "Wow!" Cass muttered. " Oh, news. Not much with me. You remember, Meloeny and Meghan, from the hospital? Yeah, well, it's taken nearly three years for all of us to find out we were all witches. Scary huh?" Cass bent over and turned on one of the faucets. The warm water filled the tub. " Speaking of Kris, how is he? I haven't seen him sense I caught him singing in the Astronomy Tower one night."

“Kris was happy. Can’t say my grand-parents minded the news either – it means that the family-line will continue as pure as it was. Unless I decide to marry a muggle-born or a half-blood,” Dana said with a grin. She didn’t think everyone not pure-blooded were lower than dirt, but she was very proud of her family-line none the less.
“I know, it’s marvelous. What better place to relax and spoil ourselves?” Dana asked with a grin as Cass seemed to appreciate the room, “Just make sure you don’t get caught, if you are planning on sneaking in her some other time.” This comment was added with a sarcastical arch of an eye-brow towards Cass. Dana certainly knew the younger girl well enough to guess she would at least try to come here some other time as well.
“They were witches too? But to which school they are going then? I think you would have known if they went o Hogwarts and there aren’t other wizarding schools in England as far as I know,” Dana asked curiously while smiling to Cass and opening a couple of taps and one extra for huge bubbles Dana always liked, “Kris – he’s as always. Cranky, moody, arrogant, spoiled and as recklessly not obeying to rules as ever,” Dana rolled her eyes and raised her wand to get some music playing in the back-ground. “Feel free to experiment around,” Dana mumbled over a chocolate-chip cookie she had took from the basket she had taken along from the kitchens.

She smiled at Dana. " Well, Meloeny is apparently going to Beuxbatons, and Meghan is going to the Salem Witche's Institute. I don't seem that too odd for Meghan though; she is originally from the States. She had been wanting to go back because she wanted to be closer to her Grandparents. Meghan is originally from the States. I didn't know this, but Meloeny is originally from France. Meghan and I have always been closer though. Apparently, they had told each other long ago, but I had been trying to hide where I've been going to school for a few years. They have both known about their heritage for a few years now." She kind of trailed off. She didn't want to admit this, but she was a bit angry about Meloeny and Meghan's secret. All those years she had dreamed of dragons, witches, and swords, they had known they had secretly existed. They would cause some resentment for anybody.
She smiled over at Dana as her thoughts went back to the conversation at hand. " Get caught? Me! No! I would never get into trouble like that?" She smiled mischeaviously at Dana. " You know I only get into trouble like that if there are Slytherin's are involved. Except if you count the time Peeves attacked me and Caiest when we had sneaked out to duel. However, Pyro did show up at the end of that evening too."

“I am originally form France,” Dana remarked as she listened to Cass talk about her friends, “Why did they go to those schools in stead of coming to Hogwarts, if I may be curious. Are they muggle-born as well? Or are they half-bloods as you said they knew their heritage. Do you mean that they knew before going to school or found out when they turned 11 and the letters from their schools came?”
Dana arched an eye-brow towards Cass: “So lead Slytherins to not getting caught with you. Don’t get caught with them. But SLytherins certainly do take a lot of patience to manage.” Dana shook her head – she had probably more practice in dealing with Slytherins than other students from the non-Slytherin houses. Dana was the only one who sometimes sat at the SLytherin table in the mornings without getting tortured for it by some Slytherins.
Raising a finger towards Cass Dana disappeared behind a screen ad slipped into her swimming-suit. “Ah, at least the pool is filled now,” Dana closed the taps and smiled at the bubbly water as she walked by the side towards Cass, “I love the fact it is so spacious here. And remember – all this is for good time today!” Grinning wickedly at Cass Dana pushed her into the pool while laughing as she waited for Cass to appear on the surface once again.

Cass screamed as Dana pushed her into the water. She hated when people did that. Instead of surfacing to the water, she swam underwater to the edge and reached up. She grabbed Dana's ankles and pulled her into the pool with her. Surfacing a few moments later, she was giggling. She splashed Dana playfully after she resurfaced.
Returning to her friends, she smiled. " Meghan is actually a pureblood and knew all her life. Meloeny is a half blood, but she is related to Meghan. They are cousins are something like that. So, they have always known. However, its very disconcerting. Too think, all of those years I dreamed of witches and dragons, and they knew all along they existed, but they never told me. I couldn't really blame them though. How could I?"
She made her way to the other side of the pool and pressed a green button. " I wonder what that does...." Being the inseptious Gryffindor she was, she pushed the button. Jet bubbles began to come from the bottom of the bath. " OH, bubblies!" Cass said very excitedly. Swimming over to the basket of goodies, she took out a chocolate frog. " I wonder where Caiest is? I've been worried about her since that mess with Pyro."

Dana grinned – it was easy to guess Cass’s counter-move but Dana had wanted to go swimming anyway, so she calmly let herself be pulled into the water. She was wearing her swimming-clothes anyway. “Well, you can’t blame them for not telling you. If things had been the other way around, you couldn’t have told them about you being a witch either,” Dana commented calmly, even though Cass seemed to have come pretty much to the same conclusion. Dana watched Cass experimenting with the different buttons and taps and grinned – she had been exactly like that – probably worse – upon seeing the room herself for the first time. Even though she had seen it before becoming a prefect herself. Dana still didn’t know what had gotten into Dumbeldore when deciding on the positions – Dana had her fair share of detentions usually for breaking rules. Cass’s words caught Dana’s interest however: “What about Caiest and Pyro? I didn’t even know there was some kind of a mess between them?”
