Bee looked around the empty corridor. It was so quiet, Bee thought she could hear her heart beat. She glanced out the windows, trying to guess what time it was. It looked to be really late, for there was a full moon in the sky and everything was dark. She stopped and listened. She couldn't hear anything, but she was afraid that Mrs. Norris or Filch might get her. She shuffled her feet against the floor, wondering if she should do this. She wanted some fun and this was diffinently different, but what if she got caught? It wouldn't be fun anymore. But, rules are made to be broken, and this was a challenge Bee wanted to do.She loved to take on challenges and this was no different.
Where should I go? Bee thought to herself. Then, she decided to go to the most dangerous place you could go at night. The dungeon. Snape and the Slytherins were down there, and if they saw Bee wondering around....... The thought made her heart beat faster. She was getting excited now. The dungeons was a cold place, but that wouldn't matter to Bee. Actually, she thought as she decended the stairs, meeting a Slytherin could turn out to be fun. After all, it was dark and they might not be able to recognize her. That was hopeless though, since they might be able to guess it was Bee from her green eyes.
Bee wanted someone to join her in her quest. She wanted to talk to someone about this. But so far there was no one here. She glided down the stairs to the dungeons, stopping only when she thought she heard something. When she was almost down to the dungeons, she thought she heard something. No, Bee was sure that there was someone near by. She looked around and then ducked behind a statue and waited to see who was coming.

Kris walked down the shadowed hallways while conversing quietly with her cousin. Julien had won the elections – it did mean some public appearances for both of them in summer as Kris’s cousin was the grand-daughter of Julien and Kris was Julien and Meredith were Kris’s legal guardians. Nothing very bad was the final conclusion however as Kris’s cousin glanced at her wrist-watch near the exit of the dungeons.
“It’s time to get my rounds one,” Kris’s cousin told him with a smile, “And you are out of bed late. Care for a detention?”
“I already have detentions until the end of school-year,” Kris answered quietly giving a playful tug on his cousin’s locks, “Besides blood's thicker than rules. You have never told on me and most probably never will.”
Grinning at the tongue poked out towards him before his cousin turned and left, Kris tilted his head. Had been just his imagination or had he heard something. Turning Kris stared impassively down the hallway. Something was most certainly wrong – any Slytherin could tell it even though most other students in the school always thought the dungeon hallways looked the same – cold and dreary and dark.
There behind a statue. Kris made certain even though none of his muscles moved as his eyes slipped over the statue as calmly as over the rest of the hallway. What use was hiding, if you left the edge of your robes visible? As no professor or someone with a reason to be there wouldn’t have hidden Kris almost growled impatiently. Moving swiftly and almost soundless pass the statue a couple of feet Kris’s wand slipped into his hand shieldedly. Turning it backwards Kris stated clearly: “Accio.”
Turning on his heel Kris jumped out of the way and caught the fallen statue with a levitation charm before it hit the floor with a loud bang and pushed it upwards again before turning to see what had happened to the girl who had flown out from behind the statue.
Stepping closer to her Kris sneered – great, one more worthless mudblood trying to show her courage while venturing into the dungeons. Twirling his slender wand between his fingers lazily Kris waited for a second to see if the girl could get hold of herself on her own. Or maybe she had knocked herself out? If so, then Kris would most certainly leave the girl here to be found by Filch and could return to his common room.

She couldn't breath. It was a Slytherin, an older one it seemed. She grinned at the thought. She had wanted a Slytherin and now she had gotten one. Maybe she had only been joking when she had thought that thought. She knew some Slytherins could be quite intimidating. She wouldn't let this one scare her though. She just wouldn't. She heard the person say :"Accio" and she grabbed her wand out of her pocket. It seemed like the statue was falling; he had found her hiding place. Bee muttered "Lumos" and light was spilled across the dungeon. What she saw made her grimace. This Slytherin had the famous sneer on his face and it looked like he wasn't to happy on finding Bee down in the dungeons.
Bee looked at him, trying to decide if she could trust this Slytherin. She couldn't tell just by looking at him. "Well are you going to hex me or something? Because if you want to you better just do it." She knew that sounded a little weird but that was what some Slytherins would do. Hex her and then run for it so she could be found by Filch.
"You probably don't want to, but....we could work together on this one. Since we are both out at night and in the risk of getting caught, we could just help each other out....." Bee felt like laughing. A Slytherin helping a mudblood out. But, he didn't know she was a mudblood, or at least, not yet.
"Sorry, but what's your name agian? I don't think we have met before." She tried to smile at him but it probably looked more like a frown. She wanted to know his name at least. This could be fun, she thought as she waited for his reply.
(( Thanks! This could be an interesting thread! ;D ))

Kris sneered at the Gryffindor. Great, she hadn’t knocked herself out – meaning Kris couldn’t get back to the common room yet. The third year used Lumos, irritating Kris more as his eyes adapted to the sudden light. What was the third year doing – she could have as well put up a flashing neon-light telling Filch where they were. Kris toyed with the idea of just hexing the girl and leaving, but as she suggested it herself, Kris just smirked drawled out lazily: “Hex you? Wouldn’t want my fun to get over too late now, would I? Hexing you would be too simple.”
“Work together?” Kris threw his head back and laughed at the mere thought. So the kid was afraid of Filch. Pulling out a parchment from his back-pocket Kris showed it to the Gryffindor: “You should recognize the professors signature, as she is YOUR head of house. And she gave me the slip for Filch and for being out after curfew.” McGonagall had kept Kris in late for detention and then had given him this slip which Kris was now shamelessly using for wandering around the castle. Besides the dungeons were Kris’s territory – the Gryffindor came off worse no matter the case. Kris sneered towards her again: “Why would I want to give my name – or why would I even think of working together – with a mudblood or halfblooded freak, whatever your case is. They don’t let other sort into Gryffindor usually – besides those wretched Weasleys of course.”
Kris’s eyes turned to the Gryffindor – a third year probably and half-scared. Nervous but almost anxious of being here. Were all Gryffindors suicidal or were they just born as idiots Kris thought with a frown. The girl – whoever she was – had caught Kris while he was in a rather good mood, but he still wouldn’t get the girl get away that easily. Maybe a carefully placed hex or two and then throw her out of the dungeon? He would have to think some more about it.

She had known that she shouldn't have even asked. She looked at the piece of paper that had been shoved under her nose with interest; she noticed it was a curfew note saying that this Slytherin could wonder the halls. She guessed that he had been in detention, probably for sneaking out himself. Or maybe for some other unknown reason. She waited until he was done talking to speak. The insult about being a mudblood, hardly turned Bee on. She was used to being called that word. She whispered "Nox" and her wand went out. She didn't want Filch to see it. She had just wanted to see what this Slytherin had looked like, but know she could hardly stand looking at him. Well if he doesn't tell me his name, than I can tell him mine, can't I? She smiled at the thought.
"Seeing that you don't want to tell me your name, I will just tell you mine. I'm Bridget Vreeland, Bee for short, and I am a mudblood. So, you were in detention were you? What did you do? Because if you had gone out at night and gotten caught, then it is a relief you won't be coming with me." She smiled in the dark again. She was still trying to adjust to the light of the dungeon, she wasn't sure what she was going to do. She smirked at the thought of sneaking around the dungeon with a Slytherin following her around. She stopped smirking, since that was what Slytherins do. She didn't want to be like this person standing in front of her. She just wanted to be herself and that was what she was going to do.

Kris arched an eye-brow his eyes adapting to the shadowed environment of the dungeons with ease. The girl gave her name – she just didn’t get it, did she? “Why would I be interested in your name?” Kris asked, with an impressionless tone, “I don’t make a habit of remembering the names of mudbloods. And I was out in the Forbidden Forest –even though I don’t see any reason what you could do with the information.”
And actually Kris hardly ever got caught during all the times he went to the forest – he did about twice or thrice a week. One that special time there had been a Gryffindor accompanying him, so Kris had been forced to lower his speed a little for her. That was unnecessary information though, so Kris pushed it back in his mind.
Muttering the simple charm Kris sent a sharp slap – something that might be used while punishing small kids – towards the behind of the younger Gryffindor while arching an eye-brow sarcastically: “And as you are behaving as a child, you should be used to being treated as one. Are you going to cry now and yell for mommy as well?” Kris mocked half-heartedly – he simply didn’t care to get into appropriate mood right now. He didn’t hide his wand yet though – Gryffindors were reckless and were rather famous for acting without thinking first. Even though the girl wouldn’t stand a chance against Kris thanks to the age differences, she might try to do something in an irritated fury.

How dare he! Bee thought in outraged fury. He had just sent a slap at her. Oh, he's in for it know! She whipped out her wand and pointed it at his face. She knew that she couldn't really hurt him that bad. After all, he seemed a lot older than her. He had treated her like a child, he couldn't get away with this! She hesitated, she didn't want to hurt him very bad. She just wanted a small taste of revenge. Trying to catch him off gaurd, she lowered her wand and then kicked him in the knee. She felt like screaming at him, but instead she just stood there, quietly, and waited for him to do something. He might react in the muggle way as well, but he might aim at her face. She grimaced at the thought. Then she looked at him and decided to speak to him.
"Don't try to irritate me, you Slytherin, or I will kick you again, except harder." She spat out Slytherin as if it was something disgusting in her mouth.
"I don't want to be treated like a child; so don't treat me like a child! I don't have time for your games. So, are we actually going to do something civil, or are we going to duel in the hallway and wait till Filch finds us?" She frowned at the thought, hoping the Slytherin hadn't seen it. She didn't like causing pain and she hadn't kicked him very hard. Even a Slytherin wasn't worth it. She didn't want to be causing pain to people who relished in doing it themselves.

Kris just raised an eye-brow while raising his wand as the Gryffindor pointed her wand at his face. She seemed infuriated by the slap. And then she tried to kick him in the knee. Throwing himself into a backward salto on spot Kris landed in a low crouch not being touched by the kick. “’Would you mind not touching me? It is too difficult to get the dirt of your touch out of my clothes and they cost more than you probably see in an entire year,” Kris sneered, “Besides if you do that again I will shackle you into Filch’s dungeon.”
Kris smirked – he was one of those few people in the school who practiced martial arts. And he was one of the most advanced of them – actually going for the black belt in summer, even though the Gryffie here possibly couldn’t know that.
“Not to treat you like a child,” feigning mock surprise Kris placed his left hand on his heart, “but how can I not treat you as one, if you act like a kid, who should still be under parents supervision 24/7. Besides do you honestly think you would stand a chance in a duel against me?” Kris was amused a little now – the Gryffie, whatever her name had been, didn’t seem to understand the situation she was in completely. “Besides I’m going to drop you off in Snape’s room or in the hands of the Ravenclaw or Slytherin prefect once I have gotten bored with you. Or maybe McGonagall – it would charming to see Gryffindor ending the school-year with zero.”
Wow, she thought with a heavy heart. She couldn't help it. She was impressed that this Slytherin knew martial arts. She had tried to learn it when she was 7 and had failed miserably. This Slytherin seemed to be the most skilled Slytherin she had met. She frowned at him as she looked him up and down.
"How did you do that? I didn't know purebloods did martial arts. Did you know that is what lots of muggles do?" She smirked at him. Purebloods usually thought that whatever muggles did was useless or stupid or soemthing like that. Apparently, this Slytherin wasn't as bad as the others. Or at least, he might not be. Bee looked up and down the corridor, trying to see if they were attracting any noise.
The insult about Gryffindor ending up in zero, barely touched Bee. She knew that Gryffindor was probably going to lose, unless they started winning some Quidditch matches. She grinned at the thought, forgetting that the Slytherin was still there with her. She was the new Gryffindor beater and she was going to help her team win. Or, she hoped so. She then noticed that she was still with the Slytherin and made her face as blank as possible.
"Do you really think that I would let you get away with using that detention pass as an excuse. It's not like the professors would believe you if you brought me somewhere. I could tell them you were out at night abusing your little pass." She smiled at him in a evil way and then continued.
"I didn't know a Slytherin would go so low as to use a pass to be some sort of person who wonders around at night because their so brave. You are not brave at all, you just want to go around letting other people think you are brave." She didn't know if this would affect the Slytherin at all. After all, bravery was nothing Slytherins cheerished.

“Muggle-trait? Maybe you should learn about those better than you. The wizards in Japan have been dealing with martial arts for centuries. Hardly only a muggle hobby,” Kris sneered arrogantly – even though his own personal trainer was a muggle. But he knew about the wizarding world, having a muggle-born daughter. Besides - most wizards were absolutely helpless after someone had casted ‘Expelliarmus’ on them and managed to take away their wand. Kris never wanted to feel helpless.
“An excuse?” pulling an innocent face immediately – most Slytherins had excellent control over the facial muscles – Kris spread his arms, “But I couldn’t possibly leave a fellow student in trouble as she seemed lost in the dungeons.” With a quick flick of his wrist Kris’s wand slipped back into it’s pocket hidden inside Kris’s sleeve. Some top aurors in France had shown the trick to Kris – it wasn’t hard to do, if you had had a lot of practice. And naturally you had to have quick reflexes and a rather good eye and hand coordination. Mock-honestly smiling at the girl Kris kept his hands spread: “Besides you’re the one who pulled her wand at me – that’s what anyone going by would see.”
Kris smirked at the final word of the girl though. Kris and brave – hardly true. Kris didn’t have any illusions about his true nature. He was sneaky, snarky, knew what he wanted and made sure he got it, he was sure of being better than mudbloods and half-bloods – in addition to most of the things all Slytherins valued. “Bravery?” Kris’s voice lowered to a hiss even though it carried perfectly over the distance, “No, I’m not brave like you Gryffs, who act thoughtlessly and recklessly while trying to do the greater good and you hurt your own friends while doing it.” One more flick of his wrist and his wand was visible again. “Wingardium Leviosa,” Kris stated pointing his wand towards the girl waiting for the spell to take effect.

Bee sneered back at the boy.
"At least we Gryffindors have friends! I heard that you Slytherins are backstabbers to your enemies and your friends! Sounds like a bunch of........"
She never finished her sentence. The boy had just vanished his wand, catching Bee off gaurd. She looked at him, expecting a fowl trick. After seeing none, she put her wand back in her jean pocket.
"There. Now it's fair." She smiled at him as if to test what he would do. She looked around, looking for any sign of Filch or his bloody cat. Seeing nothing she turned back to the boy.
She noticed his wand reappear. Shocked, it took a second for Bee to react. Once she finally got a hold on herself, she made a grab for her wand, just as she heard the boy say a spell. She looked down at him, forgetting about her wand......Wait, why is she looking down at him? He was taller than her, but now she was looking down at him, as if he was shorter. She looked down at the ground and almost yelled out. She was floating in mid-air!

Friends – so Gryffindors had friends. Kris had to hide a smirk – what could he call Dana then – she was a sister and a best, friend just like Mary was. Then there were some other people. “And with not thinking before acting those ‘friends’ are exactly the people you are hurting with your behavior,” Kris whispered as the girl rose to air. Floating her off the ground Kris turned her around in the air with the use of his wand: “But what should I do with a small cup trespassing in hostile territory?”
Pushing the girl backwards Kris ended the levitation charm with a sharp flick of her wand – the girl was only about a meter and half in the air – the fall shouldn’t hurt her. And even if it did – maybe that would teach her not to romp in the dungeons at night. Or ever actually. Kris thought amusedly, whether the girl even realized that she was lucky. She would be getting off a whole lot worse, had she ran into a Slytherin queen or Malfoy.
Slipping his wand back Kris sneered towards the girl: “I have been needing a practice dummy for some DADA curses. Or even for some not really in the curriculum. Can’t think of any other use for you as you’re not even amusing really.”
Bee grimaced as the boy turned her around with his wand. Not another smack..... She looked at him and waited for him to do something. She was surprised when all he did was drop her to the ground. She fell on her knees, but it didn't really hurt that bad.
"Friends are an argueable matter, since we are in different houses." She said with a smirk.
She had never hurt any of her friends. She had never brought them into danger; she had never taken one of them on her odd escapades. She was still stunned that the boy hadn't done something worse to her. After all, he was older and would know a lot more spells than her.
She looked up at him, still sitting on the ground, waiting for him to do something. She didn't want to attack him, he would probably backfire it or something. She didn't want that happening. If he continued with his little spells, she wouldn't retaliate, but if he did something worse, she would. She decided to get up, since sitting on the ground wasn't a great position to be in.
When she heard that he wanted to practise some spells on her, she grinned.
"Go ahead. I'm sure you will hurt me a lot since Slytherins are so big and tough." Her voice was heavy with sarcasm. She grinned at him and then flipped her long blonde hair, her green eyes staring at him.
"Give me your best shot!"

“And I’ll be grateful for as long as I live for not being in Gryfifndor or Hufflepuff,” Kris muttered moodily watching as the girl stared at him while sitting on the floor. Arching an arrogant eye-brow Kris drawled out lazily: “I know I’m good-looking but you don’t have to stare like that.”
The girls next choice of words did amuse Kris however. “My best shot? Are sure you’d be able to handle it?” Kris drawled out with a smirk howering about his face as he raised his wand after a moment of pondering and muttered the charm. It really was rather simple trick played on one’s mind, but it did feel real. As if someone was suffocating you. Not really Kris’s best level but it was an interesting curse. Dark naturally, but interesting none the less.
Just then the charm was taken off and Kris turned his head calmly as his cousin walked over. Scowling at Kris Dana stopped next to him and the cousins exchanged a couple of phrases in French while Dana keeping a restricting hand on Kris’s shoulder. Shrugging, Kris started off down the hallway, when Dana asked to borrow his sweater. Throwing the black piece of clothing to her Kris left emerging into the shadows rather quickly.

Dana left Kris to get her routes over the castle to find students out of bed and sneaking around after curfew. The castle was freezing though and Dana was only wearing a skirt and a silk-blouse that didn’t really help in staying warm. Turning around in a couple of minutes Dana half-jogged back the hallways looking for Kris. Hearing a girl’s voice Dana stoppe din wonder and frowned – what was she doing mocking someone in near the entrance to the dungeons? Stepping around the corner Dana assessed the situation. A third year Gryffindor. And Kris. Well, at least it was Kris. “Let me guess – neither of you played nice?” Dana sighed canceling Kris’s strangling charm and then stepping next to him as the cousins slipped into French for a couple of quickly and quietly exchanged phrases. Giving on final twirl to his wand, Kris hid it again and set off down the hallway. “Kris, it’s freezing in here, mind if I borrow your sweater?” Dana shouted after him and smiled catching his black sweater a moment later. Slipping the sweater over her head Dana felt warmth surrounding her and enjoyed the feel of the cashmere sweater, even though it was too big for her. “And you should already know better than to roam in the dungeons after curfew. Be lucky you got off easy. Slytherins aren’t the friendliest bunch, especially not to Gryffindors,” Dana reprimanded the Gryffindor with a frown, “Come on, I’ll take you back to your common room, so Filch won’t slam some detentions on you.”
Motioning for the third year to walk in front of her Dana walked her back to the Gryffindor tower and waited until she entered before cleaving to continue with her routes. ((Sorry to leave so suddenly, but I didn't really want ot hurt you very badly. Besides I was totally of from the mood I started the post with as Kris. Hope you don't mind. ))

Bee was being sufficated. She felt sick. She looked at the boy, expecting more than this, but instead she felt the curse lift off her. She looked around, she thought she had heard something. There was a girl, talking to the boy in French or some other language. Bee started to shiver uncontrolably, she felt horrible. Now she was probably in trouble now. She knew it. Bee waited for the girl to turn on her but instead the girl just told her to follow her. The girl didn't look to happy and Bee couldn't blame her. She gave the girl a weak smile and followed her.
Bee now knew the boy's name. It's Kris or Cris, however he spells it. She knew because the girl had asked him if she could borrow his sweater. She smiled in triumph, she had now known his name.
"Ha!" She murmmered. She hoped the girl hadn't heard it. Bee looked at the girl gratefully. She didn't think she could say much, she felt very tired. Kris had gone into the shadows, and now Bee was almost to her common room. She entered the portrait hole, giving the girl a muttered, "Thanks." Once inside, Bee walked to a armchair and slumped down in it, falling asleep.
