Lina peered down the long dark corridor, seeing that no was there, she began to walk down it, her wand held out befor her. Her dark brown eyes appeared black in the darkness, yet they glinted through thickness holding curiousity and caution. She'd been at hogwarts for 3 years and hadn't really got to know what the vast castle held.
Currently, it wasn't that late, but still if time continued to press forth, she would soon be in trouble if she was caught. Nevertheless, she continued on down the dark corridor, with light footsteps.
'Didja hear 'bout the room of requirement? Some 4th year was raving about some 6th years using it to practive Defense Against the Dark Arts. Says that the room, it'll give fill itself up with anythin' you desire.'
The conversation Lina had heard earlier while reading in the courtyard replayed itself in her mind. This ROR had actually sparked her interest, unlike the other stories she hear about, most of them involving some Potter boy. Lina had heard his name a couple of times in Germany, apparently he was involved with the Dark wizard Voldermort. but she had yet to meet the Potter boy.
Lina stopped abruptly in tracks as she looked down a corridor that seperated left, right and forward. She clicked her tongue at the sight of this, and bent down onto the floor. She placed her wand onto the ground, and instantly it began to levitate over the cobblestone floor.
"Point Me..." She whispered. Her wand began spin, first slow, then faster then finally it stopped. It pointing north down yet another dark corridor, just like anyother passageway.
"Hm..." She said idlelessly as she checked the vicinity around her for any anoymonous sound. Lina began to walk down the hallway, arms crossed over her chest as an unexpected cold air fell over her, maybe it was an omen, or maybe it was her imagination, but seeing as how far she got, she wasn't about to give up. She had begun to get so caught up in what was real or not that the sound of oncoming of footsteps began to jump in and out of her head.

((mind if I join?)) Tristan was lost. He had been at hogwarts three years already, but the castle was huge and it's sectrets seemed to be changing everyday. He had been heading back to the Ravenclaw common-room from the dinner in the Great Hall, but now he had no Idea where he was. He rounded corner after corner. Left, right, left, left, left, right, only finding himself more hopelessly lost. Just when he thought he was never going to get back to the Ravenclaw common-room he saw a girl with dark eyes and hair in the corridor ahead of him. She was at a point where three corridoors met and she was taking the left passageway. "Wait!" Tristan cried, running after her, "Do you know how i can get to the Ravenclaw common-room from here." Unfortunately the girll looked just as lost as he was, but he figured it was worth asking. As he drew level with her he spoke again, "I'm Tristan, by the way. Tristan Wardle. Ravenclaw. Third year." He extended a hand for the girl to shake.

((Post away Tristan. And Not that much))
Lina heard the footsteps advance on her as she walked deeper into the passageway. Now I'm sure that's not my imagination, she thought as she quickened her pace a bit just in case she'd have to jump behind something at the tone of a gruff "hey!''. But the unexpected happened, and she was relieved because of this. As she turned around to meet with the third year ravenclaw girl, she chuckled a bit at his question.
Tapping her finger on her crest, she said, "Gryffindor, Tristan dear - So I obviously have no idea where your commonroom is. I sometimes forget where mine is." She added with a mutter as she stared at Tristan's out stretched hand. She stared at it awkwardky for a few seconds wondering what to do with it. She wasn't big on the whole touching people thing, but this called for a change.
Quickly, she grabbed his hand, and shook it with a smile on her face, "Abendroth, Lina." She said as she released his hand, "Well you can call me Lina, or Li, whichever you prefer." She said. Someone had called her that once but she got angered, course that was because she was a tad bit more sensitive about herself 3 years ago. "Third year Gryffindor." She finally added her dark eyes studying Tristan's features and posture carefully.
She nodded to herself after she finished studying him, and went back to staring down the dark corridor, "Look... I'm looking for the Room of Requirement... if you want... you could join me. There's a slim possibility that we'd run into your common room going there, but you know it's probably worth it." she turning back to him as she brushed her dark brown hair behind her ear awaiting a reply.

Tristan was glad to have the frindly company and he joined this the girl in her quest to find the Room of requirement. He was lost anyway so he may as well have a little company while he tried to find his way. Tristan followed Lina down the dark corridor, the long shadows planting eerie fears in his mind. "So why are you looking for the room of requirement Lina?" He asked.

Lina crossed her arms over her chest once more, and began to walk down the corridor, Tristan trailing after her. It seemed as if he wasn't sure of the where abouts of this RoR either. Well that didn't seem to matter, so long as he didn't do anything that would get them caught.
"Hey Tristan, when's after hours?" She asked curiously, as she slowed down, and walked near Tristan's side. She didn't want to get caught, and worse get Tristan in trouble as well for pulling him into her curious shenanigans.
She stopped abruptly once more at another fork, and placed her eyes back upon Tristan. "Let's just say I am an extremely curious person." She said with a smile as she looked down each corridor. Each one seemed to have a high chance of leading her to where she wanted to go, but it also shared the same probability of luring them somewhere else instead.
"Hey... why don't you pick a corridor." Lina said with her genuine smile as she waited for Tristan to pick one.

"For us after hours in 9:30pm I think." Tristan said in reply to Lina's question. He was glad he had met a friendly face. when Lina suggested he should choose which corridor to take he went with his usual choice. "Well my motto, or at least one of them, is If in doubt pick B. I don't know when i thought of it, but thats it. So i think the second corridor from the left. He began to walk along the corridor before realising how inconsiderate he had been , "Sorry... Is that okay with you?"

Lina took a look at her watch when Justin told her the time. It was currently, 8:45PM. They had enough time, well unless they got even more lost. What floor were they on anyway? How far had they gone? There was without a doubt that they were far beyond the ravenclaw common room. Wasn't it located somewhere on the west side of the castle? Lina thought to herself as she looked up at Tristan, he was definitely far from where he wanted to be.
She snapped out of her thoughts when Tristan spoke, his footsteps far from her. She quickly rushed to his side, and laughed. "I did ask you to choose a corridor." She said as she gestured him to continue to walk.
"Dang... I wish I had a map..." She said as she noticed that the corridors were begining to get darker. It seemed that there were no longer any lit torches in this area. "Hey... is it just me... or is it really getting darker..." Lina muttered as she stuck her hand into her robes pockets searching for her wand.

"No it's definitely getting darker." Tristen shivered and pulled his cloak tighter around his broad shoulders. A chill was setting in around and in the castle and a draught was flowing allong the corridor. "They must have got rid of the torches around here. Perhaps to prevent students like up from roaming the corridors." He chuckled and continued along the corridor. After a few lefts and rights the pair found themselves in a large, open room. It was empty, but for a large chest in the middle of the room. Tristan walked towards it and waved his hand for Lina to follow. "What do you think this is? Why would somone leave a chest here?"

Lina's heart began to race as the excitment built up inside of her. The corridors were certainly getting darker, and colder. She tightened her arms that were crossed over her chest, and continued to follow Tristan. He was leading the way now. There was no doubt that this hallway was most likely prohibited to students, and that meant that this place had a possibility of holding the secret room of requirement.
Finally, they entered a room, where only a single wooden chest resided. "Odd..." Lina muttered as she looked at Tristan who signaled her to follow him. She peered at the chest curiously, and when they finally reached it, she crouched down, and stared at it.
Lina removed her wand from her pocket, and began to poke at it randomly. "Dunno... but I think we should open it..." She muttered back as she held her wand in a ready position.
"Alohomora!" She hissed as she jabbed her wand forward. The truck made a loud unlocking noise. Lina looked up at Tristan, her eyes telling him to brace himself. Finally, she slowly pulled the top of the trunk open and peered into the darkness.
A small growling sound emitted from it. "What the bloody hell?" Lina muttered as she crawled back a little waiting for whatever it was to come out.

The growling gre louder. As the pair stepped back a little Tristan realised he couldn't hide forever. He returned to the chest, closed his eyes tight and put his arm inside. Something wet touched his hand. He placed the other hand in and pulled out ... a krup. Krups were like small dogs only witha forked tail.
The krup licked his hand and didn't seem nearly so ferocious as it had sounded. Tristan placed it on his lap and began petting it fondly. He loved dogs. The family had had one back home, But at that moment the krup changed form. It wasn't a krup anymore. Obviously this was some kind of magical creature, much like a boggart, but more tricky. Tristan took several steps back as he and Lina realised what the krup had transformed into...

((Mind if I join...? I could just see Mack entering this...tell me and I'll delete))
What a night! She hated these type of nights! Study! STUDY STUDY! Oh who gave anyway? Mack through her book against the wall of the room she had been in. It hit the wall and flopped to the floor with a loud thunk that echoed off the wall. Mackenzie sighed in frustration and stood up. Kicked the book so it skiddered to the other wall, grabbed her cloak, threw it over herself, and walked out of the room. Done with studying for the night. Done with studying for the rest of her life! Mack growled as she stalked down the corridors, which were unusually cold. She stopped on her tracks, and wheeled around...facing a lone door., "Damn...whoever's in there has no clue what they have gotten themselves into." Mack muttered as she pushed on the knob and entered the room.
She froze in her tracks. Tristan. Then her eyes flitered to the other person, a Gryffindor. Her eyes went to the chest, "Oh, congratulations! You've opened Pandora's Box. Now. Close it!" She said sharply, her blue eyes piercing the Gryffindor girl. The Slytherin side of her lavishing out, sniping at them. The box wasn't really Pandora's Box. That was some where in Greece, but just because she knew that it wasn't doesn't necessarily mean they did. Especially if they opened the damn thing. Did they really think good stuff would come out of there? Mack crossed her arms over her chest, and stared hard at the two. Finally, deciding that they weren't going to do anything, Mack took out her wand...pointed it at the new figure and said, "Flippendo!" The figure flipped backward, back into the trunk, and Mack did a quick flip over towards it. Landing on it with her feet. She locked it, latched it, and got down.
"What in hell do you think you were doing?! Do you know what that was?! By the looks of it you two couldn't very well control it! What are you guys doing out here anyway?! Don't you know it's after hours?!" Mack's tone was even more sharp than before. She sighed, closed her eyes, and took in a deep breath, "Sorry. But, that was an extremely dumb thing to do." Mack sighed again, opened her eyes and smiled a small smile.

Lina gripped her wand tightly as she scanned her mind for any possible spell. Finally, the best one came into mind and just when she raised her wand. The figure was flipped back into the trunk, and a girl walked firmly into the room, slamming her foot onto the trunk. Lina stared at the girl intently, by the looks of her clothing, she was a Slytherin, and by her attitude, she was a nasty one at that.
She began to grow sickened by Mackenzie's tongue. She may have been a Slytherin, but Lina was not about to let her trample on her in such a way. Her lip twitched, and finally, she snapped. "Where do you think you're coming off?" She said sharply. "I'm sure I was just as capable of handling that creature as you were. Besides, where the bloody hell do you get off telling us that it's after hours, and you're running around here as well. Hypocrites shouldn't snap!" She hissed as she crossed her arms over her chest tightly, inhaling deeply.
The smile on Mackenzie's face forced Lina to rub her temples and breathe in and out slowly. She was almost speechless, having gotten into a conversation with her first slytherin.

Tristan was surprised to see Mackenzie here. It seemed far away from the dungeons and he wondered what she was doing here. Tristan knew her. He had met her near the courtyard one night and... Tristan closed his eyes and remembered that night. after a minute or too he opened them to find Mackenzie talking to he and Lina sternly before apologising and rephrasing her words. Mackenzie was definantly divided. On one hand she was an unfriendly Slytherin with an acid tongue, but on the other she was beautiful. Inside and out. Tristan returned her small smile before Lina, who had been offended by Mack's words snapped back.
"What were you doing here?" Tristan asked Mack curiously. He wasn't being rude, but he was wandering. Mack was probably thinking teh same thing. "I" Tristan said, "am lost. I swear this castle changes every day. And when I ran into Lina she told me she was looking for the room of requirement and so I decided to join her. It's better to be wandering around with someone else than on your own... Want to join us?" Tristan asked Mackenzie. He didn't like Mack and Lina's first reactions to each other, but he hoped they could sort out their differences. They were a Slytherin and a Gryffindor however. And Tristan may have been asking a bit much of them. He walked to Mackenzie and was about to give her a hug when he stopped. He wasn't sure if she was going to snap at him for that. He was still confused about the night in the courtyard and didn't know how she would react to his hugging her. Perhaps she wanted to forget the whole thing had happened. Tristan hoped not though. H's heart still fluttered everytime her saw Mack in the corridors or in class and he hoped she felt the same way. Dispite their differences.

Mack whipped out a piece of parchment which was folded neatly, she opened and read clearly, "Mackenzie Holden has my permission to be out past curfew to study for her exams. Prof. Snape." She raised her right eyebrow, then threw it at hte Gryffindor, "It's legit too." Mack never spent much time in the castle after hours. Tristan knew this, she was either down by the lake or in the couryard. The courtyard. She stopped breathing for a second and closed her eyes. She then opened them again, and turned to answers Tristan's question, "Studying." She said with a small shrug. Tristan took a step forward, and she knew what he was about to do. BUt he stopped. Mack sighed lightly and smiled a little smile at him.
It was a story of Romeo and Juliet, forbidden. Mack tucked some hair behind her ears and then crossed her arms firmly over her chest, situating them so she could get some warmth, "Well...if you hadn't guessed. This isn't the room of requriment. Room of Requirement is down another corridor, two doors to your left, and voila..." She told them with a knowing voice. Her sister used that room all the time, "This room though, is definitely not one to be venturing in. Not at all." She picked up the note from the ground, tucked it back in her robes and looked up, "So, are we gonna go or stand here all night?"

Lina stared at the piece of paper that fluttered to the ground before her, so the girl had an excuse whoopee. She thought to herself as it finally hit the ground. "Well then...that's all fine and dandy for you isn't it?" She said in her sharp tone, still enraged by her. She didn't care if Tristan knew her or the relationship they had with each other, she obviously was not close to either one of them in any way, so it didn't matter. "You should keep your nose in those books next time, and mind your own business." She added as she watched Mack pick up the paper.
She scowled towards Mack's know it all attitude, how dare she butt into her business, and then stick a sharp tongue towards her. Lina dealt with these type of people before, and she knew she would have to deal with them again, if Mack wanted an enemy, then she just made one, of course that was great for her, slytherins always loved someone to knock on didn't they.
"I'll be moving on then..." Lina said as she stared at Tristan, who seemed to not want to budge at all. Oh well. She thought as she made her way past the slytherin, "You can stand here all night and make battering lashes towards one another, I'll get out of here now." She said firmly as she walked with heavy footsteps towards the door. Naturally, Lina was forgiving, but this girl had trampled over her with no regard, and from the looks of it, she didn't seem to want to apologize.

((How do you know I wasn't going to budge. I haven't had a chance to post yet. ) Tristan smiled back at Mackenzie . She obviously didn't mean much harm. He listened as Lina spoke before adding his own bit, "I told you I was plannig to search for a familiar corridor or room with you before, Lina. And Mackenzie seems to want to join us seing as what she just said. So lets go. " Tristan followed Lina and paused for a second to see if Mack was going to come too.
