Thunderous boots echoed down the dungeon stairwell. The boots' booming noise led one to believe that the owner was angry. Angry however was an understatement as Pansy stormed down the stairs towards the dungeons. Unlike most instances of Pansy's anger outbursts, today's seemed to have no real cause. Just a little too much pent up energy and anger that needed to be let loose and Merlin help anyone who should happen to get in her way.
This was the perfect time to be heading downstairs to the dungeons, the first years were ending their Potion's class and would soon be filing out and heading upstairs. Pansy of course would be right there to greet them in her own special way. A list of spells ran through her mind of what she'd like to use, of course she wouldn't unless it was absolutely necessary. Her parents' stupid "allowance" rules for this year was taking just about every spot of fun out of her day. She would only get her 10 galleons a week if she "behaved." According to her parents that meant not getting into trouble, of course if no one found out she wouldn't get caught. As such she had spent a great deal of time this year improving her threats and blackmailing skills. Not much was really needed though as Pansy could simply call one of the other Queens and then there would be hell to pay for whomever the victim was.
As Pansy reached the first floor of the dungeon she stopped at the bottom of the steps and listened. Up ahead she could hear someone running and they were getting closer. "Stupid first years" Pansy thought as she took out her wand and held it loosely in her fingertips while waiting for whoever it was to show up. The wait was very short, in a matter of seconds a little Gryffindork girl came huffing around the corner and slipped to the ground. Quickly she regained her feet and began running full speed towards the stairs right at Pansy, from further back in the corridor another voice was heard calling insults at the little Gryffindork.
Pansy raised her wand and aimed squarely at the little girl's face. "STOP THERE!" Pansy commanded as the little girl pulled to a stop and stared right at her wand. "What the bloody hell are you running for you little brat!?" Just then, out of the corner of her eye, Pansy saw another person round the corner and head over to join them.

Dead silence was all that could be heard throughout the library and it was causing Millie’s ears to ring in a very annoying manor. She was beginning to look forward to the end of each page just so that she could hear the crinkle of the paper as the page turned. Simple charms had ever been the bane of Millicent’s existence; her father had taught her the intricacies of true spells when she was a child so she had the flourish of them mastered but… beyond that she couldn’t do it. How people flicked a certain way or twisted just enough was too much for her larger wrists, all due to muscle. She had been trained from infancy to be the perfect Death Eater’s daughter, later one herself when the time came. And so she sat for hours on end until she felt herself prepared for the next charms lesson.
Looking at the clock she noticed she had just enough time to get down into the dungeons before the baby mudbloods were released from Potions. Deciding this the opportune time, not wishing to be in the library with them, Millicent packed her things quickly in her frumpy shoulder bag and gracefully slipped out of the library with barely a sound. As she walked down the hallways though she grimaced realising her calculations must have been incorrect; she could hear the rumble of the first year stampede heading in her direction.
A familiar voice was heard ahead of her above the stomping of so many little feet and Millicent smirked. She rounded the corner only to find her assumption correct; Pansy was antagonizing a little first year Gryffindor fresh from Snape’s class. Deciding she needed a little fun after the torture of studying she made her way to join her housemate. The question had been proposed as to where the baby was going and so Millie felt obliged to answer for her. “Unfortunately not off the property like she deserves; but back to the upper part of the castle where she more belongs of course. Gryffindor trash don’t deserve to be in the lower regions of Hogwarts; the dungeons were Salazar’s layer. Pity mudblood filth is accepted into the school even but to have them lay a toe in the dungeons… Salazar must be rolling over in his grave; bless his soul.” She said as soon as she reached the pair. “Afternoon, Pansy.” She then said in greeting before turning her attention back to the situation at hand.

Rayne scowled at her potion it was all wrong. She was sure to get bad marks now. It wasn't fair! She was sure she had gotten it right but apparently not. It was because of Snape and the Slytherin first years she was with. Snape always made her loose her head he was as scary as they came so she almost always messed up whenever he came near her. Add on the nasty little Slytherins and Potions was nothing short of hell. Rayne was extremely grateful to hear the bell ring signaling the end of class. She was so grateful and in such a hurry to be out of the retched dungeons that she accidently bumped into one of the Slytherins and this didn't make him very happy. He began yelling and throwing insults. When he drew out his wand Rayne bolted.
Rayne ran trying to outrun the boy and ended up slipping as she rounded the corner. Quickly she got back to her feet and resumed running. A wand in her face and a voice yelling "STOP THERE!" Made her skid to a halt. She had just run into someone worse then the boy who had chased her. She had run smack dab into Pansy Parkinson. Everyone knew she was a Queen of Slytherin and they were nasty especially to someone like Rayne. Pansy asked what she was running for and Rayne looked at Pansy. "Maybe I just like to run." she suggested innocently. Just then another Slytherin joined them. It was Millicent another Slytherin that people generally tried to avoid. Her situation had just gone from bad to worse.

The little Gryffindor seemed to be trembling in her boots as Millie spoke and had likely been doing the same before she arrived. As a matter of fact, the child was obviously too petrified even to speak as she remained silent throughout and after Millie’s bit. ‘This is too easy. I thought Gryffs were supposed to be known for their bravery’ Millicent thought while rolling her eyes and sneering at the pipsqueak. “The essence of Gryffindor House incarnate this one is, Pansy. So noble and brave standing there gapping at us without a sound. I wonder…can she talk? I mean I know she’s a Gryff so the chances of her possessing true intelligence are slim to none but… some pets can talk.” Millicent said, speaking only to Pansy the entire time; mudbloods such as this Gryff were not worth the breath. “Even if she can’t talk I bet she can scream… care to test?” Millicent said in an apathetic way hit by a sudden wave of sadism.
“Sequor ((follow in Latin))” Millicent said to the girl with a flick of her wand before briskly ducking into an empty classroom knowing the enchantment would force the girl along as well. The candles around the walls burst to life as Millicent entered the room only to reveal a damp stone room not unlike the potions classroom except without all the tables set up. It was apparent the room was seldom if ever used anymore but the absence of cobwebs and dust revealed the fact that the house elves had not forgotten this room.
Millicent hadn’t the slightest what she wanted to do to this little girl next but her smirk revealed she planned to not let this opportunity go to waste, she would have fun. She allowed the calm in the room to remain as she stood there resting against the wall smirking at the girl patiently; she wasn’t going to make this quick and easy for the girl. Oh no, she was drawing out the girls uncertainly as to her fate; allowing the gravity of the situation to fully sink in.

“You like to run?” Pansy moved her wand threateningly a bit closer to the girl’s face. “Filthy little liar you are, you shouldn’t run around down here, bad things happen to wretched little things like you. Though I don't suppose anything could be worse than being somewhere that you DON'T BELONG! Tell me, how does it feel to be so worthless here? I honestly haven't the slightest clue why your kind even bother to show up at the castle gates” As she glared at the girl another figure joined them, a fellow Slytherin, Millicent Bulstrode. She was once looked down upon by the Queens because she was more fond of physical punishment rather than magic, but this year they’d noticed a bit of change in her persona, this right now would be a perfect test to see if she was worthy to be a Queen or not. There was however only one way to test her, Pansy would have to be creative here and work Millicent up into a fury.
“Afternoon Millicent, I was just about to teach this little filth some respect, but I just dealt with two others, would you care to take this one? She needs to learn her place.” Pansy took a few steps back and lowered her wand to her side while watching the two, this was going to be some good entertainment, she only wished the others were here to watch this.

Rayne didn't let anything show. They like so many other sadistic chicas liked it when their victims showed fear and there was no way on gods green earth would she give them what she wanted. When Pansy asked why her kind even bothered to show up Rayne got angry. "My kind show up here because we have the same amount of magical talent as you do some of us have more. You know you look down upon us Half bloods and Muggle borns. You think us weak and that you're so much better then us. Have you ever stopped to think that if all of my kind were to team up against your kind we'd out number you two to one? We'd win." She said hands on her hips. Then Pansy suggested that the other girl Millicent deal with her. Suddenly Rayne almost wished she hadn't spoken.

The girl pretended she was unaffected and Millicent silently decided to be extra harsh on her; if she wouldn’t give Millie the satisfaction she wanted she didn’t deserve to be let off easy. When she suggested the mudbloods taking down the real wizards just because they outnumbered them Millicent simply gave her a malicious grin. “Well you have one thing right; you outnumber us. You fools breed like animals yes, but all that tainted blood weakens your magic. So no, you would not win; you could not win. We have ancient magic running through our veins and the training of year more than you inbreeds whose first encounter with magic was Wingardium Leviosa with Flitwick. So you impudent little child are most certainly wrong in your assumption and need to be taught to keep your mouth shut when you don't know what you are talking about.” Millicent told the girl with venom.
Now was the time she would usually use silencio to show the girl how to be quiet; but not this time. This little girl refused to squirm so Millie would hear her scream. Standing up straight Millicent pointed her wand at the wall and muttered a spell so no sound would escape the room; don't want anyone walking through the hall to hear what’s going on. “Avis Oppugno ((birds attack))” was the next spell she cast; but unlike the former this one was aimed at the insolent little Gryff. As she spoke the words a multitude of colourful birds shoot out of Millicent’s wand; they looked peaceful enough as they gathered around the first year. This was but a ruse though to attempt to keep her calm as more and more swarmed around her. She had virtually disappeared from site when they struck; attacking her with beaks, talons, and wings.
Millicent grinned maliciously watching her birds at work before turning towards the door. “Well deary it has been swell but I think it’s time I take my leave. I don't know about you Pansy but the stink of Gryffindors is starting to make me feel sick. Good luck with your new pets.” Millie said before taking a step out the door; leaving the girl helplessly swarmed.
