Caiest watched intently as Cassandra began circling her and when Cassandra lunged Caiest side stepped it while lunging at the same time.

Cass barely missed the lunge that Caeist threw at her. Thrown a little off balance, she took a step back to regain.
She's good, Cass thought to herself.
Cass raised her weapon and struck to Caiest's shoulder. Hoping she wouldn't get the same idea since her shoulder was still in bad condition from the duel she had with Pyro.

Caiest felt the blow and winced as Cassandra managed to hit her shoulder. It had been a while since she'd fought anyone with a sword so it made sense that she was rusty. Plus Cassandra was a good opponent so it wasn't a surprise that she'd gotten hit.
She ignored the pain in her shoulder as she whirled to the left using a downward strike to the collar bone.

Cass smiled smugly as she hit Caiest. Stepping back, she nearly didn't notice her opponent's sword coming at her.
She put her sword up and blocked the blow barely before it impacted with her shoulder. She could still feel where it nearly hit. That shoulder was still weak from her fight with Pyro.
Pulling her weapon up and out from under weight of Caist's weapon, she circled her arm around and attempted to strike at her opponent's chest.

Caiest said a silent curse to herself as Cassandra was able to block her blow and realized just in time that Cassandra was aiming for her chest. Caiest blocked the blow with her blade and smiled as she heard the satisfying clang the swords made as they hit. Caiest then moved to the left and lunged again.

Cass moved back as she anticipated the lunge. However, she wasn't fast enough. The sword did nick her, and she saw a spot of blood appear on her shirt.
She quickly caught her underneath her sword pushed it up.

Post by Peeves the Poltergeist on Mar 19, 2005 17:51:13 GMT
Peeves whizzed along the hallway off to one dozens of his storage places. Floating into the room he picked up a nice pail of month old sauerkraut that he just knew was emitting an awful stench by now. The question was where to set this trap off, it had to be somewhere that would create havoc. The mail stairwell perhaps, a stench bomb like this would do well there. While Peeves zoomed down the hall a strange sound caught his ear, *clink clink* and off he flew to investigate. Into a room he peer and found two girls fighting with swords. For a moment Peeves just watched then an idea came to him, he could join! Dumblydory told him he couldn’t hurt students, but these two were trying to hurt each other so it was all OK in some sort of manner, Peeves really did bother to go into the logistics of it all, he just knew he could act here. Setting the sauerkraut down next to the door Peeves zipped down the hallway and began pulling swords and knives from the suits of armor along the hallway until he had a pair of swords and three knives. Returning to the room Peeves entered with a malicious grin and cackled at the girls. “My turn to play!” And he immediately threw a knife at each one of the girls! The last knife he held in his mouth while wielding a sword in each hand. Zipping over to the girls he swung a sword at each one! “WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!” He bellowed!

Cass heard Peeves in the nick of time. Uttering a very strong curse, she turned around just in time to see a knife come in her direction. Screaming " Lookout!" she was able to dive out of the way of the knives.
" Caiest, lets get out of here!" She looked over her soulder to make sure the Ravenclaw didn't need any help.

((hope you dont mind me joining this late))
Pyro made his way down the hall. His bag slung over his shoulder, he was on his way to the common room to drop off his bag and get his broom so that he could fly it around for some stress releaving excercise. He needed to releave some stress badly. He reached a fork in the corrider and heard a distinct gleeful cackle down one branch that sounded familiar.
"Peeves?" He said quietly to himself and walked down the corrider to track the poltergeist. He noticed peeves standing infront of a open door. He watched peeves yell something and than throw two knifes into the room. Than he placed another one in his mouth and charged into the room wielding two swords. Pyro ran up to the door.
"Peeves what ar...?" The words stoped in his mouth as he saw the scene. He looked at cassandra. "hey Cass. whats going on?" He looked at peeves. "he cant do that can he? I thought he wasnt allowed to hurt students.."

Cass began to charge out of the room looking over her shoulder to see how Caiest was doing. " It's not a matter of what he can't do, but what he is doing!" She literally bowled over Pyro with sword still in hand.
She turned to look back into the room to see how Caiest was doing, ready to charge back in to save her.

Caiest smiled lightly as her lunge barely caught Cassandra. She was about to lunge again when Peeves the Poltergeist enterd with knives and swords. She noticed Cassandra duck as a knife whizzed by her. Caiest barely had time to react she brought her sword up and was able to block the knife that the ghost had thrown at her as well.
She turned to face the Poltergeist. "That wasn't very nice Peeves you don't see us ruining your fun." She turned and walked out of the room only to find Cassandra and Pyro there. "Shall we find somewhere else to continue this or do you want to call it a draw?" She asked pleasantly.
