Finding an empty room wasn't that hard for Jordan, she found one. Waved her wand, and out came music from somewhere deep inside the room. She sat down, buckled her dancing shoes and stood up. Her salsa skrit swished at her knees, she hated skirts but, that was no problem at the moment. Her brown hair was down with a flower in it and she was in the tango mood. Only problem, it took two to tango. She flicked her wand again and tango turned to salsa.
One foot, twirl, two foot, twirl. Stop. One, two three, twirl, one two three, twirl. Stop. Right foot step forward, right foot step back. Left foot step forward, left foot step back. Twirl. She closed her eyes and listened to the music as she continued to dance, she wanted badly to do the tango, but it did indeed take two to tango. Jordan sighed as the music ended and she walked over to an empty chair, collapsed on it. Out of breath and nearly ready to fall on the floor, Jordan leaned back in the chair.
When sounds of someone clapping lightly filled her ears, she sat straight up and glared to see who it was. She hadn't meant for anyone to see her dancing, reason numero uno she found an empty room. Jordan didn't like dancing in front of people she didn't know, it made her feel insecure. Feel, timid. She hated that feeling.

Kris skived off a late class, that he had, knowing he could get the materials from Dana later, as she also had a class. The were people in the hall-ways, as most people didn’t have classes anymore, but not feeling very social once again, Kris made his way to a bit less used parts. Hearing music coming from a room,. That was usually empty, peeked his interest though, as it was a quick salsa – one of Kris’s favorites. Not knowing many people who could dance it though, he opened the door and tilted his head a little, discovering Jordan in the room. They kept running into each-other lately for some reason. The younger girl was had obviously not noticed that he entered, so Kris slipped in the room and watched her moving and twirling accurately. They kept running into each-other lately for some reason.
After a while, Jordan let out a breath and dropped into a chair. Deciding it was time to make his presence known, Kris clapped. Jordan immediately straightened up and glared at him, causing Kris to smirk back, as he raised an eye-brow and walked closer to Jordan. “Not bad, not bad at all,” Kris drawled out lazily as Kris moved over and sat on the corner of a desk, “It does usually require two people to dance, but you pulled it off alone nicely enough.”
Kris cocked his head to the left once again eyeing Jordan – he had enjoyed their spat in the Astronomy Tower and the talk out on the grounds as well, so he was curious to see who Jordan would react.
((I just couldn't stay away from the tempatition of interrupting. ;D It was a great start, so if you don't feel like posting wiht Kris, let me know and I'll move him out again. So just kick me out basically.))

((No problem at all, I won't kick you out... ) Jordan looked at Kris with a small smile before she stood up and grabbed a water bottle from her shoulderbag that was placed on a chair. She took a drink before putting her hands on her hips and glaring slightly at the older Slytherin boy. She sighed and pulled her hair up into a pony tail before leaning against a desk that was behind her. She wasn't exactly angry to see him, if she had a choice to see someone find her dancing it would be him, but she wasn't exactly overjoyed either. "Yeah well, if my brother were here...I'd have a partner to dance with now wouldn't I?" Jordan snapped lightly. Her brown eyes flashed a slight golden with annoyance before she brushed her bangs out of them and they returned to normal color. Once again the music sarted, and Jordan raised her arms over her head. Her hips rotated in a sultry move, she closed her eyes, and started to dance. It was a familiar song, one she had danced to in a competetion no less; if Justin were there, she would do their routine...but, alas he wasn't. There wasn't many things she missed about her family, but it was times like there that she did. "Dana, Rayne, and I were all dancing in the Lounge. That was great! I hadn't danced in public in ages!" She said after a moment of twirls and steps. When the music stopped, so did she. A smile was on her face and she was completely out of breath. She leaned against the wall, and caught her breath. There was something about dancing that awoke Jordan and brought her back to the world she knew. Not the world with blades and glass, but the world with dance and music. One thing her and Vanessa always had in common, music. Though Vanessa perfered Chopin, Mozart, and Beethoven, Jordan liked anything. She wasn't prejudice to her music; as long as it had a dancable beat, she liked it. "So, what brings you down this way?" Jordan turned her attention back to Kris, a slow smile came across her lips as she waited for his answer. She liked Kris; he wasn't someone who pityed her or anything. He just accepted her for her. He wasn't nasty to her like all the other Slytherins; besides Isabella, who was like an older sister to Jordan. He was just...something else. Jordan tilted her head and raised her right eyebrow slightly, waiting for his answer...her feet still itching to dance.

Kris smiled, watching as Jordan drank, before starting to dance again. She was good, Kris had to admit and had had practice as well. Jordan had closed her eyes before starting to dance, so Kris hadn’t interrupted, because it had seemed a bit personal. “What brings me this way?” Kris repeated Jordan’s question, as she stopped and looked at him again, “I’m skipping class actually and didn’t particularly feel like interacting in the hallways nor going back to the common room. So I wandered this way and heard the music, discovering a pretty young lady while at it.”
Kris smirked and shrugged off his cloak, he had worn, even though he didn’t have the rest of the school uniform on. Instead he was wearing black pants and a green blouse, both made of finest silk, with the blouse’s green matching his eye-color. The shirt had a open collar, that reached a bit lower on Kris’s chest, and was held together by a silver chain at the collar. “But since your brother isn’t here?” Kris made a quick twirl, before bowing lightly in front of Jordan and reaching out his hand, “May I have this dance, mademoiselle?”
Jordan smiled and took Kris's hand, allowing herself to be pulled away from the wall. The music changed again, to tango and Jordan's mind went blank. It had been awhile since she had dance Tango, with someone who she wasn't related to. Well, excpet that boy in the lounge, but he didn't necessarily count. JOrdan waited until the intro was right, and she raised her right arm into the air, bruoght it down slowly, letting her fingers touch Kris's cheek. Then it sped up.
"Suddenly, I can't remember the steps. This is not good at all." She told him as the music continued, it was tango...one of the dances that took much time to learn and yet she forgot how to dance to it. But, she soon remembered and she was dancing to it. Letting Kris lead her, but stopping when appropriate and changing directions. The heels gave her a little bit more hegith, so she didn't have to stretch to reach him; or have to look up to talk to him. Not that she was talking, dancning took too much of her focus up to talk. her feet struck the floor at the right beat, and she moved at the right steps. Her mind was playing an old film of dancing, retracing hte steps, so she wouldn't mess up, how embarassing that would be. Jordan smiled as the song ended and she stepped away, out of breath just slightly.
"You're not a bad dancer," Jordan told him as the song finished and she stepped away. She smiled and brushed her hair out of her eyes before sitting tiringly down in a chair.
(Sorry a bit short, might change it later, I have to go to school)

((Don'tw orry aboutit. Thanks to the time-difference I'm already out of mine and it's afternoon here )) “I’m sure you’ll remember them, when you start dancing. If you know the steps once, you’ll never be able to completely forget them,” Kris murmured quietly, as Jordan took his hand. Letting his hand slip onto Jordan’s back, Kris pulled her closer and lead the girl in the tango. Kris matched his steps with Jordan’s, stopping at the right times as they both knew when it was time to change directions. They didn’t speak again, during the dance, before the music ended and both stepped away. “I have had practice,” Kris answered calmly to Jordan’s compliment, leaning lightly on a table-corner facing Jordan’s chair again, “But I must return the compliment. You are good.”
Kris stood up again and stepped to the door, opening it while pulling out his wand. “Accio fruit-dish!” he said, smirking lightly as he heard yelps before a huge dish with different fruits rounded the corner and came flying towards him. Stopping the dish from hitting him, with a quick mutter of ‘Wingardium Leviosa’ Kris lead the dish inside, before closing the door again, and resuming his seat on the tale, as the fruit-dish settled between himself and Jordan, so they both could reach it. “A fruit?” Kris offered with a raise of his eye-brow as he picked out a peach and bit into it, savoring the sweet juice that burst into his mouth from the fruit. After swallowing Kris smirked: “Got them from the kitchen, so you don’t have to worry about me poisoning them. Which would be a waste of completely good fruits actually.”
Kris took one more bite from the fruit before continuing: ”But as you asked me already – what made you come out here to dance. Especially alone, when you might run into snarky Slytherins like myself?” The last sentence was added with a bit of sarcasm.

Jordan smiled as she picked up a grape and popped it into her mouth, thinking Kris's question over slowly in her mind. Why? Well, there were a million reasons as to why, but many she did not dare utter. Finally, she shrugged and started to answer, "Was it not you that said to find time to dance? Or was that some other Slytherin that I had a lengthy conversation with?" Jordan smiled again and pulled out her wand, she tapped her head and she was instantly changed into a pair of jeans and a yellow turtle-neck with a black vest.
"I was hoping I would run into someone, so I figured I'd pass the time by dancing...and maybe that someone would hear the music and find me dancing...sound familiar?" Jordan then laughed before eating another grape, and pulling her hair up into a pony-tail. She stuck the flower in the pony tail and smiled at Kris. The flower was a daisy, one of her favorite types of flowers and she had a vase of them up in her dorm next to her bed, which is where she had gotten the one in her hair at the moment.
"But, if you're looking for some deep logical explanation as to why I am down here, all alone, and dancing I can't give you one, sorry. Alls I can say is I felt like dancing, didn't feel like going to Herbology, so came here instead. Yep; pretty much sums that up. Why didn't you feel like going back to the common room? Avoiding someone?" She pulled out her waterbottle, with one swift movement of her right arm behind her. She unscrewed the cap and took a small sip before, pulling out another and handing it to Kris.

“I guess I did say that,” Kris mused, finishing the peach he had been eating and careless throwing the hard seed in the center out of the window, over his shoulder, “And I did run into you. Once again – we seem to run into each other rather often lately.”
Kris measured Jordan with his green eyes, not letting his thoughts or feelings show behind his expressionless shield, that every Slytherin seemed to possess: “And I don’t need deep philosophical answers. It is yours o decide how much and if you want to tell me anything.”
Kris caught the water-bottle Jordan threw him and took a quick sip of the cool water, before placing the bottle on the table he was sitting on. Kris picked up a cherry and ate it, before answering to Jordan’s question. “No, I’m not avoiding anyone. I don’t have a reason and if anyone there has some bone to pick with me, they have to come and confront me,” Kris reasoned lazily, stretching and making some circles with his head to loosen the strain in his shoulders, “Just didn’t feel like the usual chat down there. Guess my reason to wandering around the castle might resemble yours in some way.”
Kris narrowed his eyes looking thoughtfully to the painting above Jordan’s head: “And I’m yet to find a present for Dana. She is like a sister, so the regular roses and chocolate won’t suffice for her. What about you – found a place to put your thoughts for the wedding to use yet?”
"Nope. I am just tempted to throw every piece of the decorations out my window. But, I don't know how well that would go over with the Professors. The plans are just...useless. I could give them to somebody; like Vanessa, but I really don't want to talk to her right now. Or I could give them to Isabella; but what would she do with them? Maybe, I can find a spell that makes them disappear, or better yet, makes them reappear at my house...Rosa will have a fun time cleaning that up; considering she's the reason why they cancelled the flipping wedding." Jordan answered his last comment with a bit of anger in her voice. But, she then sighed and looked at him.
"You could still get her chocolates, I don't know-wait, nevermind. I know someone who doesn't like chocolate, so forget I said that. But, chocolates are good on any occasion." She said as she swung her legs from her seat on the desk. Her boots scraping the floor lightly. Jordan sighed and ate another grape, but this one she threw up in the air and caught it in her mouth, her usual trick of some sorts that she did when either bored or hyper.
"Chit-chat, small talk, all are highly over-rated. Every day I enter the Common Room; and I'm bombarded with small talk. I either have to hide away in my dorm, which is quite useless because, I share that room with my friends Ivy, Kiyla, and Nokomis. Or, I have to stay there and listen. Today I chose neither...I don't plan on going back until much later, when all them Huffles are asleep. So, yeah, I understand what you mean." Jordan took the flower out of her hair, threw it up in the air and withdrew her wand, pointed it at the slowly falling flower and muttered,"Cerptum." The flower tore into tinier flowers and they all fell to the floor. She then laughed as she remembered what Kris said about running into each other often. She nodded her head slowly and looked at him.
"Seems so doesn't it? First there was the Astronomy Tower, that seemed to start it, then the lake...head ache came back yesterday by the way. Now here. Wonder what's next." Jordan responded as she set her wand down, pulled her legs up onto the desk and hugged her arms around them. She rested her chin on her knees, thinking.

“One good thing about being a Slytherin. Glare at all others, when you enter the common room and no one will come to talk to you. Well, everyone besides Mary will keep their distance, but she is some-what of a younger sister as well, despite of her annoying habit of calling me ‘Krissy bear’ and jumping on my back as a greeting,” Kris rolled his eyes but there was a faint hint of a smile was on his lips.
“For Dana I’ll see if I can find some older book she might like. It’s a hard task though, as her grand-parents own 6 book-stores, from which one is meant for muggles. And if I can’t think of anything, then some piece of jewelry will always get me out of trouble,” Kris mused relaxedly, choosing a cherry for himself and eating it watching amusedly as Jordan created a kind of small fire-works with a flower bloom.
“Bored a bit?” Kris asked with a smirk, reaching down to pick one of the little blossoms up and raising it to his nose, to see if he could catch any scent. Not catching any, Kris tucked the flower behind his ear and exaggeratingly batted his eye-lashes towards Jordan: “Don’t I look just adorable? If we keep running into each-other according to the same pattern we have so far, you may amuse yourself with a thought, I’m some kind of a charming stalker.”
"Oh, so you're the one who has been sneaking into my dorm at night and going through my things..." Jordan said with an amused smile on her face, she then stood up and walked around the room. Dragging her fingers along the wall, for some odd reason. Her fingernails made a scraping noise that usually bugged her to hell and back again, but today it didn't and she continued to drag it along the wall, and slowly she began to hum. But, not audibly. She was bored...so she hummed. A song she had heard when she was young, from a movie...Alice In Wonderland she thought it was.
"A bit, is an understatement. I'm more than a bit. But, I tend to get bored easily." She told him with a sigh as she stopped walking and turned to face him. Jordan merely shrugged and looked up at the ceiling, wondering if that would be of any interest. Then a thought sprung into her mind, "I think, I found a use for the decorations." She said as she looked back at Kris, a smile on her face. Jordan waved her wand and a board appeared on a wall, she sat down at a desk and started to draw figures with her wand. It was a lay out of the ball room at her house, exactly the way it was at the moment; she was sure of it.
"'Tis the ballroom, in all it's magnificent glory. It's empty right now, that's a shame. Soon it shall be..." Jordan waved her wand again, and the ballroom was turned into...a party room. There was dark blue streamers hanging from the chandelier and fanning out to the sides of the circular walls, there was tables with food on it, a d.j. booth that had suspiciously gone missing from her brother's study,"....the party room for my birthday. If I have one." Jordan tilted her head to the side, looking at the board in front of her,"What do you think?" She asked him, her brown eyes looking at his green ones.

Kris grimaced as Jordan dug her nails over the walls, but it didn’t show in his voice: “Nah, it would take too much time to go through your things. Besides who knows what I might find – I’ll always try to be as safe and far from a woman’s wrath as possible.” Kris looked at the plan Jordan had created on the board and studied it for a moment. “Add some other colors to the blue as well or use some different tones of blue. Otherwise it might seem to formal or dark for a birthday party,” Kris remarked casually waving his wad towards the board as one of the blue streamers from there turned real and floated over where Kris sat on a table, “At least a birthday party thrown for friends. Then again, it’s only my opinion. Otherwise it’s a good plan.”
“I’ll have to throw a more formal party when I turn 18, as I will legally take hold of all my family-lines fortune and responsibilities then. I don’t have a clue how I’m supposed to make a grand appearance in the party at my mansion and be present in classes as well, but I still have a little over a year to figure that out,” Kris made a face, visible despising the thought of the party. “AS of speaking of birthdays – is yours coming up soon, if you are already planning it?” Kris asked slipping the streamer, he had pulled from Jordan’s plan through his fingers calmly before starting to fold and tie it together with swift hand movements, until it was shaped like a bird. Tapping the bird with his wand once, the ribbon-bird moved it’s wings and started floating around the room, colliding with tables and falls, before getting tangled on Jordan’s shoulder.

"My birthday is nothing to celebrate. And your opinion counts for something, eh. It is too much blue, you think it would it look better in pink?" She asked him with a smirk, she shook her head while rolling her eyes. She watched him slightly intrigued with what he was doing to the ribbon and then smiled as it flew and landed on her shoulder. Jordan took it off and placed it infront of her, "Formal parties...god, horrid things." She remarked to his saying about his 18th birthday. Jordan tilted her head, still thinking.
"What? Oh, yeah. My birthday...next month. 19th. After Valentines day, which I don't know is a curse or a gift. But, like I said before. Nothing to celebrate. Never have celebrated my birthday before. Always stayed home, or here and did nothing. Surprised I'm even thinking of throwing a party; but, hey, I have to get rid of these decorations some time, right?" Jordan looked at him with a small smile before waving her wand again, and the decorations changed to pink. She looked at it, and then shook her head. She changed it back, trying to get rid of the image.
"I don't know..." Jordan muttered as she picked up the ribbon-bird and looked at it thoughtfully. When she placed it back down, it was only to clear away the board, then she sat back in her chair and looked at the wall thoughtfully, "So, you have to throw a formal party? Isn't it your choice?" Jordan asked with an upraised eyebrow in Kris's direction.

“No, keep the blue. Just use different shades of it,” Kris exclaimed with a disgusted expression as Jordan changed the ribbons on her plan before turning them back, “I think I’m scarred for life with just having seen that image! 19th February – mine will be up sooner then,” Kris muttered more to himself with a nod, making sure he wouldn’t forget the date.
Kris sighed and propped a grape in his mouth and swallowed it, before continuing: “And no, I don’t have a saying in whether or not I’ll hold my 18 birthday. I am a pure-blood and from a very influential family and I’m finally taking full control over my life and inheritance, even though my legal guardians gave me that right a long time ago. And I’m expected to invite relatives and closer friends of my fathers as well as some others. And since my legal guardians have a 95% chance in Julien being elected as the next Minister of Magic in France – that only adds to the fact, that I’m entitled to hold the party.”
Kris leaned back and sourly ate one more grape: “As much as I don’t care of the traditions, I have to deal with some of those, who do in private life as well as business. But yes – it is going to be horrid. I’ll have to make sure Dana slips a deck of cards somewhere so we can split and have something to do, while the rest of the people party.”
"Agreed, pink is a nasty color." Jordan said as she strummed her fingers on the desk. Her mind focusing in and out of him talking. She blinked a couple times, trying to get back into focus and realized that she had taken her last pill. No good. Jordan rubbed her eyes, took a sip of her water bottle and then smiled as it regained some of her focus. She then stood up and tilted her head at him.
"Sounds like you have most of it all figured out." She simply stated as faint music sounded in the background. She took out her wand, tapped her head and in a moment she was back into her salsa outfit. The music steadily got louder and Jordan brought her foot back, then her foot forward and she walked over to Kris. Grabbed his hand and pulled him up. Jordan smiled and started to dance. And she talked while dancing;
"Besides, if all else fails. You can throw the paty, then skip it. Have some real fun, eh?" Jordan suggested with a slight shrug. She smiled again and twirled, her skirt flaring out mildly. When she stopped it was with her right foot in front of her left, and her left slightly turned 90 degrees. Jordan quickly fixed her hair that was falling out of it's neat pony tail, and wrapped it around the hair tie so it made a messy bun.

Kris let Jordan pull him to his feet and moved into the dance, following the music and the right steps with ease. As Jordan stopped to fix her pony-tail, Kris answered: “Well, I have been reminded about this party for about 3 years already, so it is kind of hard to forget. And great-aunt Melinda sends me an owl absolutely every month telling me off ‘good old times’ and reminding me that she has to be invited. I never reply, but she doesn’t seem to get the hin and stopped writing to me!”
Kris sighed and twirled Jordan around once more: “I’ll probably resort to whining and making puppy eyes to Dana and Meredith and using bribes, to get them to organize the party. It’s going to be tough on my ego, but at least that way I have a chance of surviving it.” Kris smirked sardonically and glanced up as he heard a tap on the window. “Pardon,” Kris muttered walking over to the window and accepting the small note from his eagle-owl and reading it quickly, before scribbling ‘ok’ on the other side and sending the owl away once again to face Jordan.
((Sorry, for the shortness. And pointlessness (is that even a word?) of this post but I just couldn’t get my muse to work with me in replying to this))

Jordan raised an eyebrow at Kris but, shrugged the question off before waving her wand in a circular motion. The music ceased and she sat down once more, her feet aching. She closed her eyes and sighed before opening them once more and pulling the hair tie out of her hair. She rolled her hair up, and moved her neck from side to side, trying to crack it. When it finally did, she let her hair fall to her shoulders and she swung her legs back and forth.
"So you really absolutely positively don't like formal parties? I mean, there are times when it's good to dress up and good to feel like you attract some attention...or is that just for girls? Is it totally opposite for guys? Too much attention?" Jordan broke the silence that seemed to be hanging overhead and clinging at the air. She tilted her head in wait for his answer, a million thoughts running through her mind.
