Brooke was sitting in the library writing in her notebook with a muggle pencil. She didn't understand why magical people couldn't use them. They were so much easier to write with than a quill and ink. She had just finished her homework and had no idea what she was going to do with the rest of her Saturday.
Brooke wondered what time it was. If only she had a watch. That was another thing she needed to add to her list of things to get. It seemed that the list grew by the day, this and that things that she just hadn't thought to bring with her to Hogwarts.
Brooke sighed and dropped her pencil. She stretched and yawned before looking over what she had read so far. Tapping her pencil on the table she tried to think of anything else that she could possibly write about. But alas, there was nothing.
Just when she thought she could take the boredom no longer a familiar face appeared in front of her.

Jordan had been running around the castle, doing various errands and such that she was rather frightfully busy at the moment. She couldn't stop to have a break, and she hadn't eaten all day. There was a painting she had to make for Kris, and a wedding to design for her brother, and not mention she had to work on her skit for Vanessa's talent theatre next weekend. There was too many things to do alone.
She entered the library in a sort of air of business, and immediately took to talking. Madame Pince hushed her moments and Jordan didn't listen, as she normally did. Madame Pince threatened to kick her out, and Jordan desperately needed the library resources so she quieted down a bit and searched through the library stacks. With a defeated sigh, Jordan scanned the crowd of students, wondering if any of them could help her with wedding colors.
She then spotted Brooke White, and smiled with happiness. Jordan made her way over to the first year, who looked rather bored and sat down across from her with an angelic smile on her tan face. Jordan placed her hands in front of her, and looked like an innocent school girl who needed a friends help, "Hiiii Broooke!" She whispered.

Brooke smiled.
"Hey Jordan. Long time no see."
It had indeed been quite a while since she had talked to Jordan. Sometime before Christmas probably.
"So, how was your Christmas break? Mine was pretty good. Weinig Zug was pretty fun. Quite cold, but I like the cold."
Brooke closed her notebook and shoved it into her bag.
"So what brings you to the library? I was in here doing my homework, but now that I'm finished I don't know what else to do. Do you have the time by the way?"

Jordan smiled as Brooke asked about her Christmas break. She just recently started telling people, that she had been the Moore's and that's basically all the uneventful happenings. No one else needed to know about Katie. Jordan flipped her brown hair over her shoulder and tilted her head to the side.
"Oh, I spent most my break with Dillion. Went out dancing, that was a disaster in the making. I heard Weinig Zug was fun! I would've done anything to go, but I already had made plans." Jordan answered with a giddy gleam in her eyes before standing up and looking around the library.
"Oh, many things brought me here. Say, you are bored? Wonder if you can help me. I'm designing a wedding, wanna join?" She asked with a pleading smile, one of the smiles that said, please pwease pwease with a cherry and nuts on top!

"Really? A wedding?"
Brooke grinned even wider. She loved weddings! She was even considering becoming a wedding planner once she got out of school.
"I'd love too! Who's getting married? Oh this is going to be so much fun!" Brooke squealed.
Madame Pince glared at her and she quieted down.
"How much have you done? When is it? Have you picked the colors yet? Oh my gosh! Stay right here! Don't move!"
Brooke hurried out the library and sprinted all the way up to her dormitory. She filtered through all of the junk she had shoved under her bed before finally finding what she was looking for. She went back to the library as fast as she could and managed to make it back there about ten minutes later than when she had left. Brooke slowed down considerably upon entering the library and made her way over to Jordan's table. She dropped her extremely large and heavy book onto the table and fell into her seat. Slightly out of breath she said:
"This . . . is THE wedding book. . . everything . . . you could possibly need . . . for a wedding . . . is here."

Jordan giggled as Brooke ran off in excitement and came back with a book. She smiled and sat down, pulling Brooke down next to her. She pulled out some papers and laid them in front of the two girls before going off on the things Brooke wanted to know.
"My brother is getting married to Patricia Mason. You won't know her, and you probably don't know my brother. Her colors are baby blue, and midnight blue. She picked the colors, if my brother picked them...it would probably be uh, something like green and yellow. Who knows.I haven't done much yet, I still need to place the tables, pick the flowers, make up the decorations and make the itenerary before anything else is done." Jordan answered as she began to look through the book Brooke had handed to her. It would be a miraculous help.

"Alright," Brooke said, "So are you like their official wedding planner or something? I mean, like how did you get yourself into this?" ((Short, I know, but at the moment I'm trying to eat. . . it isn't working too well for me considering my throat feels like it's on fire. Anyway, here's a link to an actual wedding planning book. I seriously do want to be a wedding planner. www.blissweddings.com/wedding_planner/mini-planner.PDF))

"Eh, my twin brother Justin. 'Oh hey! Jordan's good with designing, she did my room!' Meh, you would think they wouldn't listen to them, right?" Jordan answered with a voice that suggested she was sick of her twin.
"Let's just say, I am doing this wedding no matter what." She added after moment with a sigh.
((Same here))

"April. The first of. Weird day for a wedding, April Fools and all." Jordan went through some swatches for table clothes. One had a floral print, and the other had rings.
"Which one?" She asked, holding up the fabric.

"Um," Brooke said thoughtfully, "I think the floral."
She quickly flipped to a page in the middle of the book.
"Okay for the flowers we could go with Asiatic Lilies in pink or Freesias in pink or purple or Lilacs or Orchids or Lilies or a combination of any of them. And what exactly did you mean by itenerary?"

"When the events are. Pat wants, dancing after the ceremony but, before they cut the cake. Chris wants, there to be like this prize give away, and that's when there will be the bouqet toss. Thats what I mean by itenary." Jordan answered with a small smile, as she wrote floral down in a notebook.
"Okay, next the flowers...um purples are okay, but the pinks? Could we get something to match the colors?" She asked, as she flipped through some more swatches for many other things.

"Oh right. Sorry. I get caught up. Um the orchids would go nicely I think or the Freesias. In purple of course. Unless you wanted blue flowers."

"No, blue..is overpowering. Purple looks good with blue as a background. So definitly any type of purple flowers. Orchids are pretty." Jordan said with a reassuring smile.

"Has Patricia picked out the bridesmaid dresses yet?"
((Sorry, I kinda fell asleep on you yesterday and then I woke up and watched 7th Heaven and 24 and then I felt so bad I went back to sleep and ended up throwing up thirty minutes later. I feel a good bit better today, but my posts will continue to be short as long as you don't mind. I can make them longer but it will take a good while for me to put them up. I'm still not in a very post-y mood.))

"Uh, yeah actually. They get to pick out their own dresses as long as they are baby blue." Jordan answered, still going through swatches.
((It's okay, I'm feelig better today as well...hope you get better like I am.))

"That's cool so are you going to be like a bridesmaid or a maid of honor or something?"

"Maid of honor, unfortunately. I actually have to wear a dress too. It's very annoying." She smiled and wrote down another color. Then moved onto silverware.
"Which one? The sterling silver or, the white gold?"She asked Brooke as she held up an example of each.
