Seth yawned as he stood up and gave a good stretch. Placing both hands in the air and pulling each higher than the other. Rubbing his hands over his eyes, he picked up the book which he had just finished reading, his 3rd book so far this week. It was a muggle thriller that his father sent him about 2 days ago. Seeing that he had had no other book to read he decided upon going to the library.
Seth walked slow paced back to the dormintory to drop off his book, but while approaching the stairs he tripped over his shoelaces, that he had mistakingly forgotten to tie. The trip sent him on his face, right in front of the steps. Laying on his stomach he immediately checked the common room to make sure no one had seen him fall. Noticing that everyone seemed preoccupied with their studies he got up and bent down on one knee to tie his shoelaces.
Feeling a tad bit more confident with his tied shoelaces he continued his way up to the dormintory, with the book. Noticing that the dormintory was empty, he neatly the book neatly in his trunk and left in a rush. Walking at a fast pace down the steps, he tried carefully to watch his steps, in hopes that another clumsy fall would not take place.
Walking out of the dormintory, he smiled and held his head up high. He had his hands tucked deeply into the front of his pockets, for that was how he felt most comfortable. Making his way through the long corridors, he felt a cold breeze fly past him, "Probably one of those darned ghosts." Seth mumbled to himself, now taking his hands out of his pockets and rubbing his left arm, and then his right.
Blowing into his frigid hands for warmth, he had finally reached the library. Walking through the door he smiled at the familar area, wondering what he felt like reading today.

Grace woke up on cold morning to the sound of meowing in the girls dorms. Groaning she turned around and pulled her cover more around her to stop the chill. She didn’t feel like getting up and would snap at anyone who tried. Pulling the covers more over her opened her eyes. Yawning she stayed where she was under the warmth of the blankets. Smiling she leaned forwards and looked at her cat that was moving around the room rather fast. Wondering what was up she pulled the covers off of her and put her bare feet on the cold hard flour. Her feet felt numb as rose from her bed. Stretching up into the air she yawned yet again and looked at her cat that had now took her spot. Laughing she pat her cat and slipped into her robes.
After a while of getting dressed she sat back down on the side of her bed and starred out into space. She normally did this in the mornings when she didn’t want to get up. Yawning yet again she stretched more and looked around her. Barely any one was there and she wondered why. Shrugging off her question she turned to look at the ground. A light blue book lay there with some of the pages bent. Sighing she picked up the book and rested it in her lap. Grace had stayed up all night reading a book on Herbology, her weakest subject. Frowning she turned the pages and noticed that it had been clawed. Turning her head Grace looked at her cat. Mia just starred up at her not blinking her emerald green eyes. "Mia! This was a good book and now it’s ruined!" Grace called out to her cat and placed the book under her bed.
Grace sighed as she placed her book under the bed. It was getting rather interesting and now she had to hide it or else some people might find out. Standing up from the cold hard ground she looked at her cat as she stretched forward and curled up into a ball. Rolling her eyes Grace picked up her shoulder back and swung it over her shoulders. Leaving the common room she walked rather slowly down the steeps. She wonted to have some time to think to herself without being around so many people. Opening her mouth she yawned again and continued to walk down the moving stair cases lazily.
The Quidditch match against Slytherin was coming up and Grace was really excited about. She was a sports girl and loved to try anything. Smiling she searched her bag and picked up her head phones and placed them over her ears. Turning up the volume all the way she listened to the sweet music. If Grace wasn’t studying or reading she was playing Quidditch. If she wasn’t playing Quidditch she was listening to music and coming up with more dance steeps. Grace was a really good dancer and she taught lessons in a center. She liked the little kids who seemed to have her attitude and the passion for dancing. Smiling she tucked hair behind her ears and continued down the long corridor bobbing her head a bit at the music.
Once upon reaching the library she swung open the doors and looked around. Not many people where around and that’s how Grace liked it. The people around her always seemed to wont to talk and not study, and of course N.E.W.T.S students had more home work that the other classes. Sighing she walked over towards the herbology section and looked around. Scanning the self she placed her hands on her hips and read each and every title. After gazing upon a book on the top self she stood on the tips of her toes. Stretching her arms above her head she tried to reach for the book. Failing too she looked around for some one taller than her. Looking around she saw a rather tall boy in her house looked for books. Smiling she walked over towards him and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hello do you mind if you could help me reach this book?" Grace asked trying to be nice. But she knew sometime soon her sour attitude will come back.

Seth had had his mind in a toss up. Thriller vs. War book. Seth scratched his curly brown hair as he thought carefully about what he felt like reading. Pacing back and forth he smiled and stopped in front of the thriller section and began to read the 1st page, to see if his interest was kept or not. Falling deeply into the book, with suspense already lurking, he felt a tap on his shoulder.
As he finished the last sentence of the 2nd page, he closed the book on his index finger, so that his forgetfullness would not kick in. Turning around with his book in his hand, he saw a 6th year smiling at him. She had been asking if he could assist her in getting a book. Realizing now, how tall he had been compared to her, he placed his book on a near by table.
Crossing his arms, and placing his hands underneathe his armpits he smiled at her and realized that he had not yet said if he would help her or not. Trying to avoid eye contact with the girl he smiled and looked down at the ground, while shaking his ever so curly hair. "Lead the way my lady." he said waiting for her to show him where his assisstance was needed.

Grace noticed that the boy turned around and crossed his arms across his shoulders. Smirking she rolled her eyes and placed her hands on her hips. "Well than follow me then." Grace said and walked over towards the section of where the book she wanted. Looking up she scanned the top self and pointed to a light green book. "That one right there it’s called Different types of Herbs for Herbology." Grace said pointing towards the book that was on the top self. Once she was done she paced her hands back on her hip and waited for the boy to get the book. Starring up at him she smirked yet again as her sour attitude was coming back. Taking a deep breathe she took off her head phones that had been placed on her ears. The music stilled played loudly and she saw heads turn her ways. Not noticing she turned off her CD player and saw Madam Prince turned the corner. Grace looked at the older women as she walked over towards her. Pushing her fingers through her hair she looked up innocently at Madam Prince. "This is a Library now please don’t play that again!" she told Grace and walked off.
Sighing Grace tucked hair behind her ears and noticed that the boy didn’t get her book. "Hello are you death can you get me that book!" Grace said putting her hands back on her hips and looking up at the boy with one of her icy stares. She than restrained herself and smiled at the boy. "Sorry about that I can get moody at times. But can you please get that book for me I am failing Herbology and need to bring my grade up!" Grace said placing her hands at her side and looked up at the book. Tucking more hair behind her ear she stood on the tops of her toes again and reached for the book. Her hands were like ten inches away from it. Giving up she went down to her regular height. Turning her head at the boy she waited patiently for him to get her book. "Oh and by the way my names Grace Willows you?" Grace said hopping to make a good friend.

Seth followed the girl trying to be a gentlemen. The girl directed him to the spot and pointed out the light green Herbology book which she had wanted. Once she had showed him Seth noticed that his shoe had come mistakingly untied. Seth bent down immediately to tie his shoe, knowing that if he didn't do it now he would forget. Taking his time as he bent over, he heard the girl's music playing rather loudly. He stopped tying his shoe as he looked up at her puzzingly, wondering why she had been playing her music so loudly in such a quiet place. Looking back down at his shoe he heard the voice of Madam Prince yelling at her to stop the music. Seth shook his head with a smirk as he finished tying the shoe.
Getting up he sighed rather loudly and then cracked his neck from side to side, as if he had all the time in the world. Just as he was about to reach for it the girl became rather testy with him, demanding her book right now, but then appologized as she said she was failing Herbology. Seth never understood girls too well, and this was an exact instance of that, how one can go through mood swings in a matter of seconds had puzzled him for years. Seth, not wasting anymore time, reached up and grabbed the lightly colored book, noticing the dust build up he sneezed loudly, breaking the silence in the library.
Turning the book over and looking at it wonderingly, the girl introduced herself as Grace. Handing her the book Seth smiled and introduced himself, "Seth Booker. Herbology, isn't exactly my best subject, but if you ever need help, I'll try to give you a hand." he said in hopes of her knowing that he wanted to be friends. "Pleasure to meet you by the way." he said extending his hand for a handshake while wondering if in fact it was a pleasure.

((I am sorry Seth for making you wait. I am busy in my real life and barley have time to get on. Well I changed Grace a bit and shes allot differnt. Just a warning))
Grace waited patiently for Seth to get her Herbology book. It was not her strongest subject but she grasped the concept easily. Grace smiled as Seth had the book in his hands. She laughed softly as he sneezed, "Bless you." She said taking the book and opening it up. Turning the pages she skimmed through it wondering if it really was what she wanted. But soon was distracted as she heard voices in her head. Looking up at the ceiling again she smiled as it was her father again trying to talk to her. "Not now dad I am busy." Grace told him and continued to read the book. Her brown eyes skimmed the book and her frail little fingers turned the pages. Being sucked into it now she leaned up against a self of book. As she was conferrable she felt something wobbly behind her. Steeping forward right away she turned around as the self moved a bit. Hoping that it wouldn’t fall. It wobbled around a bit and she took some steeps back. As it had stopped she sighed with relief. "Opps" She said and held the book in her hands.
Turning her head towards Seth she smiled nicely. It was her way of being nice and back at Africa she wouldn’t be smiling to men. It was a custom for the women to respect the man and do as they wish. When ever you had a child they would live with the paternal side of the family, your father’s side. Grace didn’t mind much but her real father died of cholera when she was two. Tucking her black hair behind her ears she grinned up at the boy, "That sounds like a plan then." she said in a pleasant tone and took his hands. "It’s nice to meet you too. To tell you the truth I don’t have many friends in the same house as me." Grace said smiling. She was always the girl who was in the library studying for and up coming test or that she just wonted too.
Taking Seth’s hand she pulled him towards the check out area where Madam Prince was reading. She ware green large glasses and her eyes scanned the book. Letting go of the boy’s hand she walked up to the counter and set her book down. Smiling she looked at the older women. "Sorry about my head set before. I promise it won’t happen again." Grace said smiling and pushing the book towards her. "I would like to check out this book please." she said as Madam Prince was looking at the book. "Very well then here you go." the older women said in a sort of a nice tone. Feeling a bit disappointed she turned towards Seth and smiled. Clinging the book to her heart she walked over towards a table.
Pulling out a brown wooden chair she placed herself inside. Turning around she looked at Seth and just smiled, "Wont to study with me?" She asked and turned around in her chair and opened up the book. The pages were dusty and old by the years. Some where even written on. Sighing she wondered why kids would try to write in such a good book. Closing it she looked off at the direction of Seth and wondered if he would probably be one of her friends.

((It's okay Grace, I have recently just been catching up with all of Seth's posts))
Seth watched as Grace has nearly by mistake, knocked the bookshelf over. Chuckling, Seth smiled, "You're almost as clumsy and unlucky as me. Like, if that had been me, the entire shelf would have fallen." Seth said as he pictured the whole thing in his head. He could see it falling, and Madam Prince going hysterical. Seth put his thumb and pointer finger on the area between his eyebrows and shook his head at the idea.
Seth looked down at the ground and as he slid his shoe playfully on the ground, he looked up as Grace had said that she had not had many friends in the same house as her. Seth smiled, "Consider me a friend." he said persuadingly to Grace.
Grace pulled Seth towards the check out. Seth waited patiently, rubbing his hand through his hair as Grace checked out her book. The thought then ran through his mind that he had not found a book himself. He took his hand out of his hair and placed his hands in the fronts of his pockets. 'I guess I'll just have dad send me another.' he said to himself.
Once Grace had checked out her book, he followed her back to a table. Sitting down in a not so comfortable wooden chair, was just the reason Seth had never usually came to the library to study, for all the comfortable chairs were usually taken. As he pulled his chair in the table, he responded casually to Grace's question. "I would love to study with you, I have nothing better to do, and well, studying is what I do best." he said with a smirk. "Where would you like to begin?" he said as he looked down at the worn out Herbology book.
