Rayne couldn't sleep again. It seemed to be a common occurance lately. Pacing around the common room Rayne tried to think of something to do. 'Maybe I'll go see Madame Pomfrey about this.' She thought to herself. Seeing as how she'd been having nasty bouts of insomnia for well over a week she thought it would be a good idea.
Walking out of her common room and through the hallways Rayne decided that she didn't want to go see Madame Pomfrey after all. All sleep did was cause her to dream and she really didn't like the dreams she'd been having on those rare occasions when she did fall asleep. Abrubtly changing directions Rayne went off to find an empty classroom.
After checking to make sure it was empty Rayne closed the door slightly so that it was still open but only just. Looking around the room she noticed that it was pretty much empty. There was a few desks in the corner and a chair in the other corner but other then that the room was nice and empty. 'Perfect.' Rayne thought smiling. She decided to do her ballet. No one actually knew that she did Ballet. It was something she kept to herself and enjoyed on her own time.
After checking the hallways once more to make sure no one was coming Rayne conjured up a radio and played some of her favorite music to dance to. The first thing she did was some warm up stretches using one of the desks as she would a bar at home. It had been so long since she'd danced that she figured she should stretch first. After stretching Rayne changed the music to somethting she could really dance to. Standing in first position she waited till the beat was right. After finding the right beat she was off.
Closing her eyes Rayne did plie after plie before surrendering herself to the music and the feel of dancing. Adding her own twist to the moves made the dance all the more graceful. After the song ended Rayne leaned against the desk eyes still closed. She really needed to dance more for she was out of shape. When she opened her eyes she noticed someone there. "What are you doing here?" She asked blushing furiously wondering how long they'd been there.
