Vincent waited patiently in the corridor, munching on a tuna and cucumber sandwich. Not his favourite, but he hadn't had time to get as much time as he would have liked to eat his lunch today, so he had just had to pack away an apple, four sandwiches and two chocolate muffins in a box. He was down to two sandwiches, an apple and a chocolate muffin now, and it was two 'o clock on a Saturday afternoon. Vincent was expecting Gregory, and possibly Draco, although with Draco you could never tell whether he would actually turn up or not. But Vincent would on no account move from where he was supposed to be until he did - otherwise there would be trouble if Draco did turn up and find him gone. that had happened once, but it hadn't exactly been his fault. That had also involved a chocolate muffin.
Vincent had hardly spent any time with either Draco or Gregory recently, as he had been completely loaded down with work. Vincent had found OWLS impossible, but NEWTS were even worse. He always seemed to be working. When he wasn't working, he was practicing spells, many of which bordered on the Dark Arts, and many of which he was becoming quite adept at, practicing Quidditch or taunting Mudbloods. In a way he enjoyed the freedom of being able to be himself, but he did look to Draco as a leader and without him had to admit to himself he was a bit lost.
Vincent was snapped out of his reverie when he saw a sixth year Hufflepuff girl who was waving around a Transfiguration essay in her hand. Vincent had been struggling with that all morning. He strode over to her. "Have you got the time?" he asked her. While the girl was fiddling around to find it, he flicked his wand to change her Transfiguration essay with the blank piece of parchment he had in his hand. "It's five past two," she told him finally. "Thank you," Vincent said, sneering at her. She went off quickly, evidently in a hurry to get somewhere. Vincent sn iggered and stuffed the essay in his pocket. It would prove useful. He tapped his foot against the floor, slightly bored, but enjoying the way that the younger years all made a wide berth around him.

*Gregory left the great in a hurry, balancing 3 sandwiches, 2 biscuts, an apple, 3 pieces of some kind of pie, he had not had the time to discover what type of pie, and a cup of something to drink. He had been running late so he had opted to just pass by the tables and grab some food that looked untouched off of others plates.
He walked down the corrider, trying to eat and place the excess food into pockets at the same time. He wasnt really looking where he was going, he was busy enough with his multitasking to be bothered with looking where he was going. It wasnt like he had to since any student quickly moved out of his path so they wouldnt be trampled under the juggernaut.
It had been a long time since he had seen vincent or draco, the constent homework and studieng for tests in the NEWTs was murder. He hardly had anytime to spend with his friends. He had gotten lucky and was always able to find some unlucky first year to bash on, and that kept him going. He was really looking foreward to this meeting. Him and vincent finally able to hang out and cause some reall havoc.
Even Draco might show up, Draco's leadership would be able to steer their chaos in the right direction, and everyone new that well placed chaos, was loads of fun. Finally having found a place for all the food he looked up just in time. A first year seemed to be more intersested in his bookbag than looking where he was going. Gregory collided with the first year. Gregory just felt a slight collison on his chest, whereas the first year bounced off and flew. He fell to the ground and glared up at Gregory, but once he got a good look at the size of gregory, that glare turned to a wide eyed fearfull look.
Gregory had no time for this, but he decided to have a little fun with the kid. Glaring down at him Gregory craked his knuckles slowly. "You ran into me......" He said in a low tone to the kid. The kid immediatly leaped to his feet and blurted a quick "sorry!" and took off running down the hall. Grinning Gregory continued his way down the hall and soon came upon vincent. He walked up to vinc and clapped him on the shoulder.
"Hey vinc, Its been awhile. Whatja been up to?" He pulled out one of the sandwiches in his pocket and began to bite into it.

Vincent smirked as he saw Gregory have a little word with a first year who had run into him. He doubted that Gregory would actually have felt anything, with all that padding. It was rare for Vincent to. But he did enjoy terrorising the little ones, putting them in their place. He presumed that Gregory also found the same pastime appealing, although he hadn't seen him doing it much this year. Vincent found the time for the odd spot of bullying, although he was often too busy to be bothered to do a proper job.
Vincent grinned at his friend as he approached, revealing his set of lopsided teeth, which had bits of tuna stuck in them today. He always found Gregory quite agreeable to be with - he had not the intelligence to tease Vincent about his lack of the same commodity, while he enjoyed many of the same things as him. Draco was a different matter, if truth be told, but then again, truth very rarely was told. "Work," Vincent said in his low grumble, "and Quidditch. And more work, and more Quidditch. And putting the Mudbloods in their place." He grinned again, biting into another sandwich and munching on it, ham with a bit of pepper. He looked down the corridor to see if Draco was coming, but did not see any sign of him. He sighed. They would have to wait, then. At least the field of repulsion of everyone else had increased with the arrival of Gregory.

"Crinnnnnnnnnnngggggggggg!!!!!"
Draco woke with a start. Reaching out his palm, he pushed down the alarm button on his multi-purpose flying clock. It was just past two o' clock in the afternoon. Being a Saturday and not having very much to do that morning, Draco had decided to have a snooze. He had stayed up practically the whole of Friday night tormenting a fourth-year Gryffindor called Mark Davis. "I would have saved myself the time and energy and stopped much earlier if the stupid mudblood had apologised and run away," he thought. Instead, the boy had stood there, quivering in a corner, not saying a word, except for the constant yelping each and every time Draco cast a spell on him. Draco had also been rather lucky no one had caught him in the act, though of course the thought did not once occur to him. After all, he was invincible. He was Draco Malfoy.
Now rubbing his eyes, he remembered where he had to be. He had arranged to meet Vincent and Gregory in the east corridor leading away from the Slytherin common room at 2 pm. "They'd better be there! It's quarter past two!" he thought, shaking his head and trying not to imagine his fury if they did not turn up. It had certainly happened once with Vincent and a couple of times with Gregory. Getting up, he walked over to his cabinet and picked up his wand. "Why do I feel like it's going to play its part as a tool of entertainment especially well today?" thought Draco, an evil grin spreading across his smooth face.
As he walked along the corridor out of the Slytherin common room, he relished the way all the younger students quickly moved out of his way as he passed them and how they all shivered if he so much as glanced at them. "And bloody right they should!" he thought to himself. After all, what were they anyway, if not pathetic little mudbloods, a pollution and disgrace to the wizarding world? He could see two humongous figures in the distance. Vincent and Gregory. As he approached them, he noticed they were munching on sandwiches, as usual.
"Do you boys ever do anything, besides eat and eat and eat?" he said, walking up quietly behind them. He was delighted by the look on their faces. Clearly he had taken them by surprise. "Look at the size of you two! Just look at all that fat!! Sometimes I wonder how your legs carry all that weight," he said, scanning his two friends. "You should be more like me. Eat to live and not live to eat," he said, a look of slight disgust on his face.
"Anyway, what have you boys been up to this morning? Been doing anything worthwhile?" Looking around him and noticing how empty the corridor had suddenly become, he smirked and turned to face Vincent and Gregory. "I was thinking we should go down to Hogsmeade today. Get a drink at the Three Broomsticks. We've been doing too much work lately. At least you two have. I don't need to do that much work to pass." With that he started walking down the corridor, towards the staircase. Not bothering to look back as he was sure they were right behind him, he said, "How's the Transfiguration homework going? You guys were struggling with it last night, weren't you? That McGonagoll woman seriously has to get her priorities right. Setting us a rubbish essay on how to turn pens into erasers. I mean, who uses pens anyway....besides filthy muggles and mudbloods. We're above all that crap!"

Gregory stood next to his friend, sharing the same grin on his face. It felt good to not be stuck doing work
"Know whatja mean. luckily I dont have quidditch to sort through, homework is tough enough"
He sat back and ate his sandwich. It had also been a long time since he was able to just sit and eat at his own pace. "Nothing to do now but wait for draco and eat" he thought. No sooner had the thought gone through his head that he heard a familiar voice speak up behind him. "Do you boys ever do anything, besides eat and eat and eat?" Spoken in the slick tone that was easily placed as draco.
Gregory spun around, half done with taking a bite, and looked upon the Smooth pale face of draco. He quickly took the bite and finished the food as draco continued to hark on them about their eating habits. Gregory didnt mind much, this had become as usually event. Gregory found that after having not seen them for so long, even draco making fun was welcome to him.
"hey Draco. Hogsmeade sounds like a good idea. After all that homework." He turned and began to follow draco down the corrider when draco mentioned the transfiguration essay. He groaned silently and slaped his forehead. he had been having problems with it and decided to leave it for a day when his head was clearer, clearer than usual anyway, and he had totally forgot about. he shook his head. "Dont worry about, this isnt a day for work" he thought.

Vincent almost jumped as Draco came upon them suddenly from the other direction. Not that jumping in surprise was something that was physically possible for him. Spontaneous leaps were beyond him - he had to make his muscles work to get him anywhere in the air. And his broom had to work hard as well. Gravity clearly wanted such a large bulk to stay firmly on the ground. But that was something that Vincent refused to do. Anything that life didn't want him to do, he would. Vincent took another bite of his sandwich, regardless of what Draco was saying. It was his choice, after all, and Draco could not dictate that. Vincent liked his food, and seeing as he didn't have brains, he preferred to have brawn.
Vincent fell behind Draco, having to work hard to keep up, the pace he was going at. Did he not appreciate that it was hard work walking as fast as this, for Vincent? Vincent smiled as Draco mentioned the Transfiguration essay, reaching inside his pocket to feel that it was still there. It was. He smirked. "I think I have it sorted, courtesy of a Hufflepuff Mudblood," Vincent said, a hint of amusement showing through in his voice. He looked sideways to Gregory, who didn't seem quite so confident about the essay. Maybe Draco's leadership for the afternoon wouldn't be such a bad thing, he reflected, if they got to go to the Three Broomsticks. Although all the Mudbloods hung out there. It would have to be worth it though, considering the speed they were going along the corridor at the moment. Vincent liked to take things nice and slowly.

Post by Charles Driscoll H7 on Feb 18, 2005 15:04:43 GMT
Quite excited to develop the new pictures he had just taken in the courtyard, Charles ran as fast as he could down the hallway leading to the boys' dormitories to collect the developing potion he had just made the day before. He did so and then ran once more to the boy's locker-room to collect the film he had left inside his locker. In his haste he did notice the boy who was just around the corner and he ran into him. Being much smaller in size compared to the other boy he fell down as a result of the impact. "Oh I'm sorry," he said, picking himself up and then the small bottle of transparent fluid on the ground which to his relief hadn't broken.
Charles was just about to go on his way when he saw that the two burly boys standing with the other one he had just bumped into were blocking his way. Charles looked at them apprehensively, his eyes going to the badge in their chests and the green hem of their robes. Now if Charles was small for his age, these two certainly were not. Though Charles knew both of them to be around 16 years old, they looked like grown men. Vincent's arm was as thick as Charles' waist. They were not people he felt very safe being in a corridor with when he was just on his own. He had no trouble recognizing them of course; the gelled silver-blond hair and arrogant obnoxious look belonging to Draco Malfoy were known by all the younger students at the school. He loved taunting and insulting the students he considered to be beneath because they weren't purebloods, and everybody steered clear of him whenever they could. Charles being as pureblood as they come never had problems with him before, and he certainly hoped he wouldn't now. After all, he didn't share the pureblood beliefs and so Draco would definitely consider that a reason to consider him as a potential target for his insults. ((Sorry for the delay, but I hope to post more regularly now.))
